Kisuke set his cup to the table. "It seems Kita caught the interest of one of the Espada and he went after her at her--" Before Kisuke could finish his sentence Renji was up and away from the table headed down the hall.

Hisagi shook his head. "He worries about her way too much with her being here with you and Ichigo. He knows you guys will protect her, but you can't get it through his hard ass head."
He sipped at his tea again.

He picked up his teacup taking another sip.

Just then Kisuke sighed adjusting his hat. "Speak of the devil. Better add a few more nails to the roof because it is getting ready to blow."

"Huh?" Hisagi asked looking around then sensing Tsukiro's reiatsu all a rage and drawing closer.
"Tsukiro's is her boyfriend?! Oh god, this is not going to be pretty."

Just then, said boyfriend stormed through the living room towards Kita's bedroom, sensing the one reiatsu that always made him want to cave someone's face in and make them swallow their eyeballs.

After hearing Renji hit something in the hall, Hisagi figured it was the wall on the other side. He looked to Kisuke.

Feeling the barriers go up in the house Kisuke sighed getting up from the table and walked down the hall toward Kita's room.

"That boy," she sighed. "He just can't catch a break from Aizen. Every part of his life has been ruined by him."

Kisuke was not himself as he looked down in the cup of tea. "I feel responsible for this. I never consoled him once. Only told him to toughen up. Stop being a fool and if he did not straighten up I was leaving him here." Kisuke sighed. "I am sure what he saw was enough to make Yama-jii cry."

"True, you should have consoled him,"she said as she say across from him. She rolled her eyes at the look he gave her.
"What I mean is, he's had to be strong his whole life. We left and then his family is torn apart. Ever since then he's worked his ass off to get into the Gotei Thirteen to find out who was responsible. He's never been babied a day his life. He needs someone to tell him it'll be alright. That he doesn't always have to act tough."
She reached into the basket in the middle of the table, pulling out a rice cake.
"Regardless of that," she said chewing. "That doesn't mean this is your fault. Aizen's actions pushed him to this point. Now it's our job to reverse this so that he can do his best for Kita's sake. Remember Kisuke. You may have known her longer. But the two of them share a bond that has no rival. He would die for her. But if she suffers, he suffers with her."
