Juushiro set the bottle in a pocket of his haori. "She has that right as the Captain of the Fourth Division," he murmured in reply, "and I have been feeling slightly under the weather."

Kita looked to Juushiro. "Then you should go. It is not good to ignore your health Captain." She tilted her head with a questioning look in her eyes. "I wonder since you said that--Should I tell what I know about Yumiko?"
Juushiro looked at her with a pained expression once more. Kita sighed. "Captain, please. Know this much at least. She is doing well and growing stronger. She seems very happy there. I know you think it is all bad, but it is not. Some of us are treated very well if we have a good Master and or keeper."

Juushiro closed his eyes for a moment, hiding his turmoil inside himself, and then opened his eyes. With a tired smile, he set a hand on Kita's arm. "Will you still tell me what you know? Please?" he asked quietly. "Who is her keeper?"

Kita shook her head. "I am not sure who her keeper is. If I have to take a guess it is the Fourth Espada Ulquiorra. Her Master is lord Aizen. She is as attached to him as I am Master Gin."
She saw Juushiro pale again as she took his hand gently in hers. "Lord Aizen has never hurt her, Captain. I can see it in her eyes."

"Hurt her my ass. The bastard has the poor girl charmed. She slapped me and chewed me out when I was talking bad about Aizen in front of her. She said he didn't deserve my hateful word and that she wouldn't tolerate me talking about him like that." Tsukiro shook his head and downed the rest of his tea, picking out the peach slice and biting into it. "I wanted to shake her silly and knock some sense into her about him. She honestly believes he's some sort of saint and that he saved her."
He glanced at Ukitake. "Then again, I can't really blame her. Being freed by a psycho-sociopath is probably way better than being locked up, sealed and blinded in a prison for decades just because the 46 are scared shitless of her. I'd be grateful to him too, regardless of how much I hate him. He's earned her loyalty with a snap of the fingers."

Yorusuke looked at the third seat shocked at his harsh words, not only toward 46 but how unfeeling they came out while speaking to a man that clearly cared for this young girl Yumiko. "You need a few lessons in manners, Third seat."
He looked to the Captain. "Are you alright, Captain Ukitake?" Yorusuke asked him watching him pale more.

Tsukiro gave the guy a look that said "you're kidding me right?"
"You must be a rookie. Manners are for those who deserve them. Sosuke Aizen has ruined more people's lives than you can count. If you had been a Soul Reaper four or five years ago, you would know just how hellish his actions have been. He care not for her well-being. He wants her abilities. He wants to use her in any way he can think of that can get him closer to revenge on Soul Society and his goal of murdering the Soul King. You would know this if you had been around the first time."

Yorusuke glared at the third seat through narrowed eyes. "That might be so, and yes Aizen deserves no respect. However, Third Seat Ashimitsu," He pointed to Captain Ukitake. "That man does deserve your respect and you just let your words fall from your mouth like they were nothing to be considered."

Steeling himself to keep from shaking, Juushiro shook his head slowly. "There is no reason to start fighting amongst yourselves on my account," he stated with a just a hint of steel in his low voice. Almost as white as his fair hair, the captain slowly rose to his feet. "Thank you for your information, Ashimitsu, Kita. I appreciate the honesty." He took a breath, finished his tea, and continued to address them all. "Even if some of the words were harsh, maybe I did need to hear them. Maybe because we didn't fight Central, we did lead her down this path." He fell silent then attempted to smile. "However, that doesn't mean I can leave her there. Even if it's late, I will protect her." He set his cup down with shaking hands and sighed. "If you will excuse me, I'm not feeling well."

Kita looked at Tsukiro with a displeased look. "And you call my Master cruel." She stood quickly and went to aid the Captain to his room. "I am sorry Captain Ukitake. I did not think Tsukiro would be so blunt with this."
She continued down the hall with him to his room.

Juushiro shook his head again even as he leaned on her. "I do not blame Ashimitsu," he responded gently. "He is not the first to have that opinion, and it's a mistake I will have to bear with."

Tsukiro sighed and put his head on his hand. "Maybe I was harshly blunt, but I don't believe in sugar coating things. Lies and glossing over the truth doesn't fix anything. I've lived through too much to beat around the bush about things. It's better if we hear the painful truth now and get over it quickly. Otherwise it'll only hurt more when you do hear it."
He grabbed the pitcher of peach tea and poured another glass. "But I will mind my tongue next time for the captain's sake. I apologize."

Juushiro chuckled quietly. "You are forgiven, Ashimitsu, and I understand your viewpoint." He turned to Kita who was still letting him lean on her. "That being said, I should rest. If you will do Tessai's gardening instead, that would be helpful." He paused. "And I am grateful for the information, however upsetting it is. Thank you."

Kita smiled brightly at Juushiro when he asked the favor of her. "I would be pleased to do so. It will give me something to do. I have to say this is much nicer than being locked in my room. Even if it was for my own safety."
Walking Juushiro to his room Kita then exited after making sure he was alright and did not need anything. She headed straight out into the garden to finish what needed to be done.

Post by Lt. Hisagi Shuuhei on Oct 13, 2014 10:20:09 GMT -6
"Raising Spirits": It was later that evening and the shop seemed bare. One would have thought with a few pieces of the struggle behind them they would be a little happier, Hisagi knew there was still a long road to travel here to get to the end but everyone's moping spirits were not a good thing either. Hisagi heard the talk about Tsukiro leaving. Something about getting his head on straight. He was shocked at the news. Especially so soon after Kita having the choker removed. Though, he can't say he blamed him. It bummed him out that Kita did not get her memories back either, but he could understand why too. Though it didn't make it any easier on him or anyone else.
Hisagi pushed up from the floor where he was laying as he looked around the shop. A long sigh escaped him as a thought entered his mind. He lifted up and went off to look for Kita. He was sure he knew where she was. He walked down the hall and slid the door to Gin's room. Sure enough there she sat in the center of Gin's futon looking at a piece of paper.
"Hey you?" Hisagi called softly to her. He stepped in, closing the door behind him.
