"If the Tracking perfume works right he should be here shortly. It works with the body chemistry of the wearer. It should emit stronger from you then the locations you placed it. If he uses his head he will be along soon." He took a sip of his tea sitting his cup back to the table pulling his note tablet toward him.
"So tell me what did you find out about yours that you tested?"

"The sleep potion works well. It has a decent time span per dose." Suddenly she laughed and almost choked on her tea. "And the Puppet Perfume, well, let's just say I had fun with that. But bottom line, it works awesome and you can get a good laugh out of it." She leaned over and pecked Kisuke on the cheek. "You've done it again." |

At that moment, Vacanze burst through the doors, out of breath and exhausted. He walked up to the table and pointed to Yoruichi. "Found you!" He collapsed at the table and poured himself some tea, downing it in one go. |

"Welcome back," Kisuke told him watching him sit and down his first cup of tea, "would you like another?" He lifted the pitcher and offered more as Vacanze extended his cup out. "So tell me how did you find her?"
He sat the pitcher back to the table and looked to Vacanze once more. "And what did you find out about your perfumes?"
He went back to jotting down some information he thought needed for the testing.

Vacanze downed the second one then took a big breath as he could finally talk past his parched throat. "After running around in circles for half an hour, I finally realized some of the scents were different than the others. Also, the ones that lead to Yoruichi tended to have dogs passed out along the way."
Both Kisuke and Vacanze looked at Yoruichi who just shrugged and sipped her tea loudly.
"As for my potions..." He took out the vials and slid them back to Kisuke one by one. "The flame one I loved. Brutal but effective. But, hey, the world is filled with much more brutal things and people. The paralytic, you might have to be careful with that one, but it's very effective and very uncomfortable. And the speed one--" he tossed the empty bottle to Kisuke--"NEVER AGAIN. And two is definitely the limit unless you can train yourself to take three, in which three would be the limit. Anymore and the wind pressure would probably crush you. That's if you didn't have a heart attack first." |

Kisuke jotted down what Vacanze told him then went to questioning him. "So the Flame perfume worked great? Can you tell me what happened?"
"Well, I put it under the hollow's nose and he inhaled it. He started yelling and screaming. He kind of started turning red like he had a sunburn or something, then he started blistering and then Whoosh, up in flames. Kind of cool, if you ask me. But that's probably the hollow speaking."
"Mhm...Mhm," Kisuke said as he wrote down what he said. "I guess you played with the Acceleration perfume from what you said a few moments ago. What happen there? I want each stage."
"A single dose makes the user as fast as Yoruichi. The second dose makes you considerably faster than her, which makes it a bit hard to stop if you're not used to it. But the third dose." He shook his head. "It was like getting hit in the chest with a sledge hammer. I couldn't breathe, I could see. Everything was either pitch black or stark white. And then... well... Ifellofftheroof."
"So for Yuzu one whiff would be enough. Though she is only human. Maybe I should dial it down a bit. I wonder--" Kisuke rubbed his chin in thought. "Kita could test this for me she is human with the protection of Sumi so she would be the best one to test it on to find the affects it would cause to Yuzu." He nodded sternly. "Yes, I will have Kita test it out before I dial it down." he looked to Vacanze again. "What of the Paralyzing perfume. Details now and how much did you inhale?"
"Maybe a little more than I should have. Enough to taste it in my mouth maybe? Not too much though. My lips did start going numb though, so maybe that one could stand to be a bit weaker. It was kind of like my whole body went to sleep."
"Well the Flame, Paralyzing and Acceleration are the three most dangerous of the perfumes. The Flame perfume as you saw burns the inhaler up from the inside out. Only a small whiff is needed. The Paralyzing perfume can stop ones heart, and the Acceleration perfume speeds up everything. Not just your movements. Your brain function, your heart, all organs and muscles. Your whole body could explode if too much is used, and it can used as offense or defense."
Kisuke then looked to Yoruichi, "tell me a little more about the Puppet perfume?"

Yoruichi grinned. "Well, it pissed the hollow off for one. It's rock solid. You control the inhaler by voice commands."
"She told it to punch itself in the face," Vacanze pointed out. "And she made it act like a dog and spin around in circles until it was dizzy."
Kisuke gave her a look and she shrugged. "It worked. It did exactly as I said. I'm sure if I told it to destroy itself, it would have. Very cruel, but very effective. Although I'm sure Yuzu will use it for more noble reasons."
"And I'm pretty sure she won't make people punch themselves and bark like a dog," Vacanze deadpanned. |

Kisuke scribbled down all the information they gave him as Tessai walked out with lunch. He laid his pencil down on the note pad and looked at the delicious meal set before them. "Amazing as always Tessai."
"Thank you, Boss," Tessai replied, sitting down with them at the table.
"So anything else you two can think of that I might need to know? If there are any concerns with who I am giving it to and thinking one might need to be dialed down or tested further. Tell me now while I am still in the testing mode with it."

Yoruichi contemplated Kisuke's words before shaking her head. "Not that I can think of. Other than the ones that need to be dialed down, over all, it's a very fitting system for Yuzu. I'm sure after some practice and a bit of training on how best to use each one, she should be ready to go."

"My only concern is if the wind suddenly changes and she inhales her own potion and can't get to her antidote. That could be dangerous. But I suppose that's just a matter of technique and being careful," Vacanze scratched his cheek in thought. "Are you going to keep them in the bottles or are you going to create a delivery system, like those perfume bottles with the air pump?"

"They will stay in the bottles. Easier to hide, and as far as the antidote goes I am injecting her with it so there will be no issues of that sort for her. The extra is just in case one of us gets a whiff of it or an innocent gets in the way."
They finished filling their plates and sat back to enjoy their lunch. "Before I dial down the Acceleration perfume I am going to have Kita test it --" he paused and looked at Vacanze. "I will need you to get Ichimaru out of the shop for the day. I doubt he will be happy with me using her as a test subject. Even thought she will be all for it." He looked between the two, "should I have her test any of the others?"

Vacanze shook his head. "I don't think so. Unless you want her to test the others to see how easy it is for her to use the system."
"I might do that just because Kita is human. Her system will react different than yours and Yoruichi's did or does. Sumi will be able to give details as well in if it causes damage to her body. That there will tell me a lot." Kisuke informed them as he looked to the six vials in front of them. "I don't want to endanger either of the girls, that's why I had you two test them first. You could handle them better then a human could." He looked to Vacanze once more. "You think you can get Ichimaru out of here for a few hours tomorrow?"
Vacanze grinned. "If you know one thing about me, it's that I can get people out of certain places. I'm sure I can think of something that will get him out of the house. And if not." He pulled the Sleep Perfume towards him and pocketed it. "I'll be borrowing this, just in case. You know how stubborn he can be."

Kisuke chuckled. "You might have a ass kicking coming if you use that on him." Tessai nodded.
Vacanze grinned. "After what happened to me with that bastard that was with Koga, I don't care what anyone does to me, not even Gin. Besides, if he beats me up too bad, Kita will chew his ass out. Or maybe I can commission Ichigo to help me, that way he can take some of the punishment." Vacanze grinned. Then his expression faded and he said honestly, "Gin seems to take what Ichigo says to heart. I'm sure if I can't he could."
Yoruichi chuckled slightly. "Or you could just ask me to get his ass out of the house. I don't think I know of anyone who doesn't take ME seriously."
Vacanze thought of that then winced. "yeah, that's a good point. Maybe I'll have you help me if I need it."
Kisuke chuckled lightly, "I just need him out of the house for a while. Take him shopping or something. He still owes Kita a birthday present. Use that as an excuse if you have to."
The two nodded as they went back to their lunch enjoying the silence around the house with everyone off doing something or training in the basement.

"A Shiny Distraction":
It was breakfast time at the shop and Vacanze had stepped out of his room to spot Gin. It had been a few days since Kisuke had him and Yoruichi test his perfumes that he planned to give Yuzu. Today was the day Kisuke had planned to have Kita test them out, which meant that today was also the day Vacanze was supposed to somehow get Gin Ichimaru out of the house. He clenched his jaw and swallowed, trying to quickly think of a reason to get him out of the house for the day. He just so happened to stick his hand in his pocket and there he found a handful the gems he carried around with him. He pulled them out, looking at them. Suddenly he remembered the project Gin had commissioned him to do. He still had yet to finish the casings for the gems. Vacanze smirked and clenched his hand around the gems.
"Oi, Gin!" Vacanze walked up to him. "A minute please." |

Gin paused, frowning slightly before recalling the project he had given the redhead a few days ago. Before the wakeup call. The gems that Kisuke had discarded. And his plans for them. Looking around for Kita and seeing that she had vanished - either with Soji or Kenji - the fox walked over to Vacanze, flashing a warning grin as he neared. “You know this is still a secret, right?”
