Vacanze laughed at Soji's selflessness. He handed him the whole bag then kissed his temple. "Here you go, kiddo. Enjoy. Just don't eat it all in one sitting. Human teeth don't grow back like a hollow's."
Kita kissed the top of Soji's head and thanked Vacanze. "Daddy is going to love picking those out of his teeth. Remember to brush later." Soji didn't respond as he dug into the bag. She kissed Vacanze on the cheek. "Thank you."
"No problem," Vacanze smiled as he sat next to them. |

It had been awhile and both Kita and Sojiro had finally settled at least enough to where Kita felt as if she could part ways with him for a bit. Kita lifted Sojiro to a stand as she and Vacanze stood as well. Leaning down she gave Sojiro a soft peck on top of the head. "I am going to go take a shower and change, sweetie. I got some things I need to do in town before it gets too late." Sojiro turned from his Strawberry Puffs as he looked at her. "Can I go with you?"
"Of course you can. I will only be a minute." She kissed the top of his head again with a bright smile and turned from him to head down the hall. "Love you, and be right back."
Sojiro gave her a big bright smile as he watched her disappear down the hall an into her room.

"Bearer of Bad News":Kisuke stopped at the table answering the question Yorusuke asked when he exited the room then reentered. He looked down at Yorusuke as he was eating his lunch. “I don’t care how you do it or how much you do it. I just want him checked on through out the day. I can’t say I fully trust him just yet.”
Yorusuke was shoveling his mouth full as Kisuke talked to him, holding up a finger asking for a moment while he chewed and swallowed, Kisuke took a seat at the table once more. Yorusuke chewed, swallowed and took a drink.“I can’t say I blame you. Withholding important information, faking his own death, returning back to Las Noches. Then turning around and going back to Soul Society to steal his own zanpakuto.” Yorusuke shook his head. “I can’t say the man is too bright.” Kisuke chuckled adjusting his hat as he looked at Yorusuke from under it. “The scary part is; Tervaden is very intelligent. That’s why all this makes me wonder what he and Aizen are up to. So don’t crowd Tervaden. He knows he is going to be watched, but make it lax. Make him think we care, but in turn ‘don’t care’.” Kisuke sighed adjusting hat, “I still have to talk to Kita and tell her everything that is going on.”“You did not talk to her last night?” Yorusuke questioned taking another bite. Kisuke shook his head. "She was too shaken with the visit she got from Aizen. I talked to Ichimaru for a bit and he said he told her there was news about Tervaden as well, but he said he did not go into detail.”Yorusuke sat his cup down and looked to Kisuke across the table. “You think she might flip out over this?” Kisuke adjusted his hat once more, “I am not sure what will happen here. I just know I can’t have her going after Tervaden when I am still trying to figure out this mess myself. She could bust things wide open that don’t need to be opened yet.”“What do you mean?” “Tervaden has another chunk of the Aeronite--” He paused and looked to Yorusuke with a smirk from under his hat. “--Modified.” “You mean you gave him a chunk that will kill Alister if he gets around him?” Yorusuke laughed and slapped his hand to the tabletop. “Good riddance Alister!” Kisuke nodded slowly, his smirk still in place, “I am sure Tervaden knows the Areonite doesn’t and won’t affect Sumi or Kita any longer. However, this new mixture that can kill a God won’t harm her either. I don’t want that tidbit of info out just yet.”

“Just one question,” Gin murmured from the hallway entrance. He unfolded his arms and looked to Kisuke. “There’s telling her about Tervaden, and then there’s telling her about Tervaden.” He paused. “How do you plan on keeping her sane away from the couple when she finds out that Alister did something to Yumiko and that we don’t know what it is? They’re best friends. And Kita still carries some guilt about leaving her behind on Sumi’s behest." He looked towards the ceiling, his usual smirk gracing his lips. "She is not going to be pleased by that little tidbit.”
Kisuke looked Gin's ways. "I was planning on telling her all that I could. In hopes; she won't snap and go after Tervaden. I thought if she heard some of his back story she won't lose that glimmer of hope she saw when she first meet Tervaden." Kisuke lowered his head pulling his hat over his eyes. "Though I hate to say it, but I think Tervaden is a lost cause. He craves chaos, even over the woman he loves."
Gin's eyes narrowed. "Aizen, Tervaden, Alister, Loki. All pieces of a perilous puzzle." He chuckled. "Is it possible for a mad shopkeeper to keep them all under lock in his town long enough to learn their secrets without too much damage, I wonder~" He held up a finger. "And the White Knight and Old Man? Have you talked to them since Yumiko's plight? Or waiting on that too?"

Kisuke chuckled as he looked to Yorusuke as he raised a brow at him. "If I had the help of the Goddess? I could. I could. However; with the limitations that the Soul King placed on her. We are at a stale mate. At the present level Tervaden is, he is a match for Kita, but not for Sumi alone. Alister being the God of Fire, trumps Sumi's powers. Not by much, but enough that if they were to face off Sumi would be harmed in the worst kind of way. Kita with Sumi's help overpowers Aizen and Loki. So it is possible to lock them all down, but without Sumi we are at a loss with Tervaden and the God of Fire."
He looked to Gin again, his eyes narrowing more with this bit of news on Kita being overpowered by Vale. "Don't go getting your frilly panties in a knot, Ichimaru."
Yorusuke chuckling softly at what Kisuke told Gin. Kisuke only grinning adjusting his hat.
"Kita is still safe. IF Vale steps out of line and threatens Kita's life. Sumi will step in and take care of him, and I do believe, if I understood Sumi correctly, Alister nor no God, but the Soul King can harm or do harm to the Seraph's vessel. It's a sure way to get the Soul King involved if they do. Sumi is a very important tool to the Gods. Without her they lose too much information and her killer--God or not -- the person that does it is surely going to find the Soul King knocking on their door."
Gin tapped his fingers along his arm. "Kita's lacy panties aside," Yorusuke choked on his drink and Gin's smirk grew, "you didn't answer all the questions." He faced the shopkeeper. "Do we have Soul Society coming or not?"
"No. Right now I have enough to deal with without bringing two new, overly sensitive fathers into the picture." He lifted his hat and looked at Ichimaru with a grin. "I am enough without dealing with those two right now."

"Dealing with what two?" Kita asked walking in the room her and Sojiro hand in hand as Sojiro tugged at his mothers arm.
"I am hungry, mom." Sojiro looked up at her.
Kita looked to Sojiro and smiled releasing his hand. "I am sure Tessai has something cooked or cooking. Go see him in the kitchen."
Sojiro nodded and dashed off toward the kitchen to find Tessai like he was told. Kita then glanced over at Kisuke as she walked toward her lover. "Well? Are you going to answer me?"
Kita then tiptoed up and placed a gentle kiss on Gin's cheek. "Hello love." She then looked back to Kisuke who was still standing there not talking.

Listening intently to his son’s footsteps, Gin stayed tense until they retreated and Tessai closed the door. Relaxing, he tugged Kita into his arms and nuzzled into her neck. “Kisuke was asking about your panties, my love,” he teased, loudly enough for Yorusuke to sputter again. He glanced towards Kisuke for a moment, telling him with his slitted eyes that the man owed him for starting this messy discussion, and lowered his voice. “We need to talk about yesterday. Are you going to be alright?”

"Which ones?" She looked from Gin to Kisuke then back to Gin again, "did he find the ones I had on last night? The ones you tossed across the room and we could not find. If I remember right, they were the red ones with black lace."
She looked back to Kisuke and giggled softly as he was pulling his hat down over his face. Yorusuke's eyes wide as he looked to Gin and Kita. "I really don't need to be hearing this. You know that right?" Kisuke mumbled from behind his hat.
Kita giggled softly again and nodded to Gin with his last question. "I am in a great mood. Me and Sojiro had a wonderful time at the park. Better to do it now while I am like this then to wait for when I am tired or crabby."

Gin smirk turned downright vindictive. “You started it with something about ‘my frilly panties’. Tell me, love, do I wear panties, or anything to bed with you?” Kisuke made a noise behind his hat, something about taming the testosterone around here, and Yorusuke was still goggling, even turning a bit pink. “Checkmate~” the fox purred. He kissed Kita and then pulled back, circle an arm around her hip.
“Now, it’s your turn, old man. I would start with the bombshell.”

Kisuke gestured to the table for everyone to take a seat. Once all seated Kisuke looked to Kita. "A bit of bad news, Sweetie."
Kita looked at him confused, "Worse than Aizen's return?"
Kisuke nodded, "Vale is back and in Karakura." He watched as Kita's look contorted from a happy smile to an annoyed and upset look. Quickly she went to stand from the table, but Gin kept her in place. "He's back and he has Yumiko with him."

"When?" Kita asked as her hands clenched in her lap.
"Yesterday. Vale appeared in Soul Society. It seems Juushiro and Yumiko talked him into going to see Kyoraku and when they gave him the stipulations of sticking around," Kisuke sighed, adjusting his hat. "He got a little upset. It would seem he don't the idea of being watched."
"Who would?" Gin murmured.
Kita looked to Gin, giggling softly. "Well maybe you two should have behaved yourselves then." She turned her attention back to Kisuke, her emotions settling somewhat. "So what is going on with him?"

"He and Yumiko are back at the apartment together. Yorusuke is watching Vale for the time. I told him I would help him out, but in reality--" Kisuke paused, "I don't think he really wants it. He just wants to be left alone. He wants a life with the woman he loves and he just wants to be left alone by everyone."
Kisuke watched as Yorusuke looked to Gin and Kita, Gin looked as if he was deep in thought.

Gin finally shrugged and then his eyes narrowed in realization. You crook, you’ve left the bomb out on purpose. “Don't look at me. I got used to abnormally large noses getting in my business centuries ago. So I don't think you can use me as a comparison."
True, he'd created a fortress out of his rooms and before that, he had climbed as far as he could, becoming captain. The eyes were probably another reason he had killed as callously, too. The more blood running over his body the less eyes Aizen placed on him. But he'd never cracked like Vale, shifting like a whirlwind. No, he merged himself with even more shadow seamlessly.
The fox smirked, eyes glinting with mischief. Waiting for the inevitable.
You're not getting out of this that easily, and you know it. And waiting will only make her worse~

Kisuke adjusted his hat covering his eyes as he mumbled, "Vale thinks Alister did something to Yumiko." He quickly picked up his teacup and took a sip.
"What did you say, Kisuke?" Kita asked him with angered eyes but she stayed in her seat at the table.
Kisuke looked across the table at Kita then repeated himself in the same low tone. "Alister did something to Yumiko."

Still not hearing him plainly Kita looked at Yorusuke and then Gin who was still sitting next to her. "I still did not hear him. What did he say?"
Gin glared at the shopkeeper for his tone before going still, finally recalling that the old man cared for Yumiko a lot too. He couldn't always laugh things off. The fox shook his head and then looked to Kita. "Alister did something to Yumiko," he repeated. "Vale knows that much but not what." He waited.
And didn't have to wait long.
"Sumi..." Kita called out to her. Sumi did not appear but her voice softly rolled through the room.
"You know I cannot tell you anything, Kita."
"Not even what Alister did to Yumiko?" Kita grumbled.
"No, but I will tell you; it is not life threatening. Yumiko will be able to deal with what he did. It will take her some time to adjust, but she will be better in the end with what he did." Sumi informed her.
Kita sighed lowering her head slightly. "I hope you're right about that. She has been through so much with all this."
