Kita looked back at him pulling her hand from his grasp. Her eyes narrowed slowly, "don't stand there and pretend like you know what your talking about when it comes to Gin. You do not know him. You never took the time to get to know him. So do not place any blame on him. You have no right."
Tsukiro's eyes narrowed in return as he grabbed her shoulders, "you would not be in this mess if it were not for that Bastard."
Kita lifted her hand to strike him across the face as Tsukiro grabbed her wrist. She tugged on her arm to get free as she growled. "Let go of me Tsuki or you will regret grabbing me."
"Listen to me--"
"NO!" Kita demanded jerking her wrist from him, "YOU LISTEN TO ME!" Her head shook madly. "I don't need you. I have never needed you or anyone for that fact. I am strong enough to stand on my own two feet. You never let me do that. Never--"
"And Ichimaru does?! He hovers over you like a mother hen! So its alright for him, but it wasn't for me? That's bullshit and you know it!" Tsukiro exclaimed.
"Yes! It is! What he did and does is different. He is mentally strong enough to stand on his own. You were not and still are not." Kita growled at him.
Tsukiro growled his teeth grinding together, "you damn well know I was in a very emotional state."
"Exactly, during a time I needed you most, but where were you?" Kita's head shook.
"THAT'S NOT MY FAULT!!" Tsukiro yelled drawing closer to her.
Kita remained calm sighing as she lowered her head, "and it was not my fault that things worked out the way they did between Gin and I." She went to turn again to leave, "leave me alone Tsuki. If I feel the urge to talk to you I will come looking for you."
She did not get too far when Tsukiro's hand clasp down on her shoulder stopping her once more.

Kita spun on him with her fist clenched tightly as Tsukiro ducked avoiding the strike. He lunged forward shouldering her as he stood erect. He turned stepping forward heading toward the Underground Training field.
"You want to fight me? We will do it downstairs. Then I can give you a proper ass spanking." Tsukiro told her slightly looking over at her hanging over his shoulder. She was kicking and pounding on his back as she voiced her opinion over the actions he was taking toward her at the moment.
"Well then just think of the lesson you can teach me once we get down there." He rounded the corner into the next room his eyes narrowing, his hand clenching tightly around the hilt of his sword.
"This is between me and Kita, Ichimaru. Step aside and let me pass."

Gin chuckled, slitted eyes glittering like crystals beneath his silver bangs. He sneered at the brat’s gesture of supposed strength and just leaned back, keeping his own hands folded before him. “Really now,” he murmured, “I wasn’t aware you had a contract with her that superseded my own.” He paused, listening to Kita growl, and waved his hand. “Really, I think you better re-evaluate your stance here, boy. She’s not in the mood to listen to your kind of lectures. If she’s not talking to the Hat-n-Clogs, what makes you think she will discuss it with you?”

Tsukiro's eyes narrowed more at the Snake. "I am not Kisuke nor am I you. Like it or not, I am easier to talk to then you or either of you or the others. And I don't lecture her over things like this. I only lecture her over your ugly ass."
He chuckled slightly, "sadly that's every time I see her because for some odd reason," his eyes locked with Gin's. "You're like a fucking Cockroach, Ichimaru. You won't die."

Gin chuckled shortly. "Oh I know I don't," he purred, eyes gleaming with malice.
If the brat had hoped to anger him with those words, he was sorely mistaken. Right now, words like those were a compliment. It meant he wasn't finished with the fight yet. In spite of what his master had shown him in their last detailed visit to Las Noches. The Snake's smirk deepened as he pushed off the wall and walked a few steps towards the boy captain.
"Such a fact, isn't it wonderful for you? Having someone this close to focus all your negative energy on?" He paused. "Not that it will help you against Aizen-san. You keep fighting with the wrong tools."
As the boy glared at him, he leaned on the wall again. "Now, how is it you will reach her when you still don't play by that fundamental rule, do tell~"

Tsukiro felt Kita tense as she lay over his shoulder, he was sure it was the way Gin spoke of Aizen so casually, like he was still his Master. It set an uneasy feeling in the pit of Tsukiro’s stomach. Giving a side glance to Kita with a slight shake of his head.
So that’s the issue with her. He let his eyes drift back to Gin. “Move,” Tsukiro demanded. “She does not belong to you, and she never will.”
Watching Gin lift off the wall again, Tsukiro drew his blade. “I will kill you before I let you drag her into that hell again.”
Kita however did not let Gin get very close, nor did she let Tsukiro toss out any more threats as she drew back her tightly clenched fist and drove it into Tsukiro’s ribs at his side. Tsukiro dropped to one knee with a deep growl. He released Kita, but his sword was still up and pointed at Gin. His other hand clenching at his side.
Kita shook her head stepping up to Tsukiro leaning over she placed her hand to his taking a hold of the hilt. She re-sheathed the blade, then stood erect once more, looking to them both.

Kita stood silent for a brief moment her gaze mainly on Tsukiro. She said nothing as she quickly turned away from him, anger clearly in her eyes and blanketing her face.
"Stay away from me, Tsukrio. This is your last warning."
She walked toward Gin not even stopping. Grabbing hold of the front of his kimono, she jerked him forward behind her thus making him follow. He rebutted slightly taking hold of her wrist that grasp tightly to his clothing, quickly she turned looking at him with narrowed eyes and a growl deep in her throat.
Gin's eyes widened slightly in amusement, his signature smile following closely behind. Kita huffed shaking her head, turning from his gazing blue eyes as she still pulled him behind her. When they got to the stairs of the Underground Training Field. Kita roughly jerked him around her giving him a firm shove toward the steps to go forward and down the stairs. Gin did not move only gave her a side glance with a wicked smile.
Kita growled as her hand came up and pointed down the steps. "Are you going to wait for this time next week? GO!"

Gin chuckled. “Or what, Kitten?”
“Don’t call me KITTEN!” she screamed.
Gin continued to smile, gaging her mood. It was getting darker by the day, and today, she had finally agreed to do something about it. But Gin still didn’t know if the training would help or deepen the pain and rage. At the moment, though, he intended to push her. And push her hard.
Though he could do without the audience in this experiment.
“If you don’t like the name, dearie," he purred, "I would suggest proving it in some manner~” He waved his hand. “Or is that shield just for show?”
In the background, the brat blinked and then stepped forward. Fortunately, the shopkeeper grabbed his shoulder, looking towards him. There was the funny feeling of trust running up his neck again, through a veiled threat. If this went wrong. Gin scratched at his hair, his eyes gleaming in return.
"Come on, kitten~" he taunted.

Kita growled the second time around at being called Kitten, her hand quickly coming up to slap Gin across the face as it was caught in mid-swing. She jerked hard within Gin's grasp as he only grinned at her.
"You need to try better than that... Kitten." Gin drew closer to her and licked her cheek.
Kita pulled against him again as she drew her blade sliding it between them, the tip of the blade stopping just under Gin's chin nicking him slightly, "better?" She asked with an evil smirk of her own.

Kisuke did not like the look in either of their eyes as they stared the other down. Adjusting his hat over his eyes he looked from under it at Gin, his eyes giving him a silent warning of his action with Kita. Both were still affected by their last visit to Las Noches, but he also believed that if anyone was going to be able to pull the two of them out of their funk it would be pair of them working together to reach that lost peace they once possessed as a couple, and an individual.
He shook his head as he watched a bead of blood roll down the blade of Kita's sword. Gin's grip tightened on her wrist as he roughly pushed her back from him, then released her. Gin then motioned toward the stairs for her to lead. Kisuke's head shook slightly as he watched Kita step toward the stairwell, Gin's foot then lifted from the floor.

With a casual hook of the dainty ankle, Gin tripped Kita, sending her spinning down the stairs with much muttered cursing. Tsukiro growled something unappreciative under his breath, but as a fox, he easily ignored the warning of an upstart like him. Besides, he was busy~ His smirk grew and he clicked his tongue loudly. “Dearie, if you intended to be a threat, you’ll have to stop leaving yourself so open after one opening gesture of intent. Your skills aren’t just a decoration. They’re statements. Use them to their full extent.” He started down the stairs after her, chuckling at the brat’s narrowed, dark gaze, and paused for effect. “Or do you secretly want to stay nothing but a vulnerable Kitten?”
He reached up to close the door.
“Damn it, Gin, I thought you loved me!” Kita snarled up at him.
“And if you’re asking questions like that already,” he fired back, “I may start wondering which of us has more resolve in that matter.” The hutch shut behind the silver-haired trickster before the others could hear her response.

"Sorting Through the Muck": (continued) While back at the table with Tsukiro, Kisuke lifted his eyes looking at the boy across the table at him. He knew he felt the same thing. Kita's reiatsu rose to a dangerous level, things between her and Gin were not going well. Both, quickly got up from the table, making their way swiftly to the training field.
Tsukiro pushed in front of his mentor as he reached for the door swinging it open quickly and hard. The door made a loud thump against the wall as he took off down the stairs before Kisuke could grab hold of him. With a shake of his head Kisuke turned from the stairwell and went to his lab. Moved

"Holding What Remains Together": (continued)
“You didn’t have to make her leave, Kurosaki,” Juushiro murmured, appearing beside him in a flash of shunpo. “I know you didn’t want her to leave your side.” Bracing himself for the worst, the white-haired captain entered. Following, Kurosaki shrugged. “She’s safer away from me, especially now.” His hilt shook in his hand at the torn up house just beyond the doorway. “I can deal with fighting for myself, but I’m still recovering. I’m not really sure if I could protect her at the same time without Zangetsu.”
Stepping past a ripped off door, he growled at a smear of blood on the wall. “Assholes!” He looked to his quiet comrade. “Sorry, Ukitake. Who was home?”
Juushiro shook his head, pushing at the weight tugging on his heart. “I know the kids were…” He didn’t finish his sentence as the breath in his throat stuck. He closed his eyes. “Yoruichi was probably with them.” Kurosaki scratched at his hair. “Well… V-man, at least should have been at my Old Man’s, cooking with Yuzu, I think. And,” he released a long sigh, “really, the feline should have got out of this. She always does.”
Juushiro hesitated in voicing an alternative scenario to the Substitute’s. But before he could decide, a gruff voice cut in. “Usually cats are looking out for themselves. That’s why it fits Miss Yoruichi so well.” Tessai walked slowly out of the dark hallway, his large arms full of bleeding fur. “But this one had cubs to protect,” he muttered. He looked to the captain. “Ichimaru ran off after Miss Kita vanished, and Tsukiro’s down below, torn up. That’s all I know. I apologize.”
Juushiro set a hand over Tessai’s on Yoruichi. “Don’t be,” he offered. “It’s impossible to know everything with as fast as our enemies struck.” He offered a lukewarm smile. “And she’s still breathing.”
The man nodded. “That’s what matters,” he agreed. “Whoever came through didn’t let her transform, so it was a swift knock out. I can heal these wounds and start on Master Tsukiro’s.”
“Do that, please,” Juushiro murmured. He looked beyond.
Neither of them wanted to guess at her state when she realized who was and could be gone from the house. The captain lifted his head, looking to Kurosaki. “We’ll look around. There are hiding places. Who we are missing could have concealed themselves. Until we know otherwise, only Kisuke is missing.” That included Yumiko and the children. And he really hoped he was right. Tessai and the Substitute nodded, Kurosaki muttering under his breath. Juushiro leaned against the wall for a moment, exhausted. Of the whiplash from war and the comforting words he voiced. Every time.

“Dad said if any are harmed we could bring them there,” Karin muttered, entering the house herself. "Thinks they will think twice before tangling with him for some reason." She paused. “What if this place comes down after all that happened?”
Ichigo shook his head. “I can tell that the fight mostly took place down below. That basement could withstand a nuclear bomb. It’ll hold.” He turned his head. “And what are you doing here? What if someone nabs your ass?”
Karin huffed and folded her arms. “Not this again,” she growled. “I am a soul reaper now. I am going to help out. And if someone is stupid enough to touch me, I’ll burn their nuts!” She marched down the hall in the opposite direction as her brother.
And halted as he caught her shoulder. “Be careful. Please,” he murmured, not looking her direction.
Karin’s anger faded. “We all are. And no one’s giving up.” She looked over to Captain Ukitake. “Right, Captain?” she called over.

Juushiro chuckled in spite of it all. “You’re right, Karin-san," he replied, the positive words flowing from him automatically. It just wasn't in him to let the weight on his shoulders dim their wishes. He smiled gently, murmuring his gratitude, and walked over to the Kurosaki siblings. “I will go with Karin and check the lab. Ichigo, will you check the back room where he keeps his shopping goods?” As the Substitute nodded, Karin and Juushiro headed down the hall towards the bedrooms and the lab. Stopping at the first set of doors, Juushiro nodded and the two pushed the doors open. Juushiro sighed, seeing the room undisturbed. But empty. He looked to Karin. “Look for hollow spaces for the secret spaces concealed in here.” She nodded. Juushiro knelt and closed a book that had been dropped. His arm appeared heavier as he set it on the shelf where it belonged. The old captain lowered his head. Juushiro stood first when they moved to the next room. With the same results....
