Kita shook her head, "I don't think so. He has never said he blames you." Her hands coursed down the front of Vale's chest smoothing his shirt out. She looked up into his eyes with a weak smile.
"I know I can live without him Vale, but Sojiro was finally starting to get to know his father. They were getting close. Finally starting to build a relationship between them. I am worried about what will happen to him if he is never found."

Vale placed a finger beneath Kita's chin, lifting her head a bit higher. "I'm looking for him, love. I swear. I'm going to find him." Vale gently pressed his lips to hers. "I promise. In the mean time, I'm going to stop by every day from here on out."
When he finished dressing, Vale secured Chinmoku to his side. "Is that alright?"

Kita's smile brightened at his announcement of wanting to stop by every day. Her head nodded quickly, "Yes, that is fine." She went to step back as Vale caught her in his arms keeping her in place in front of him. "I need to go fix you something to eat."
"Just a few more minutes. Please." Vale told her pulling her closer.
She looked into his eyes again still smiling. "Can I ask you a question now?"
Vale nodded slowly, "of course."
"Do you miss us being with you like before?" Her eyes grew moist as she lowered her head to hide the tears forming.

"Of course, I do." answered Vale. "You're my family. I want you and the boys with me. But, with Yumiko around...I don't know how well she would handle having you all there with me. Aside from that, I wouldn't want you in Las Noches right now, anyway."
"Yumiko..."
"Yumiko." Vale scoffed. "I'm just waiting for her to leave me again. The second Aizen shows his face, again..." Vale shook his head. "I know she'll leave me again."

Kita's head shook. "I don't know. I know she lov--" Kita's head shook again when she stopped abruptly. "I don't know. Sometime she is as hard to figure out as Gin. I know she cares about you. I know that much."
She rested her head to Vale's chest as he wrapped his arms around her tightly her arms doing the same around his torso. His soft steady heartbeat soothed her worried mind and sent a warm, secure feeling through her like all the other times he held her close in the past. Her eyes closed slowly enjoying the moment in his embrace.
"I miss you." Her words spoken so softly she was not sure if he heard them.

Vale smiled, tightening his hold around her. "I miss you, too." he whispered. Vale pulled from their embrace, hearing a cry from Kadaj. "Why don't you go take care of him. I'll be here when you get back." Moments later, Kadaj' crying stopped.
"Maybe Sojiro got him." said Kita. She reached out, grabbing his hand.
"Kita...What do we do...What do we do about this?"

Kita looked at their intertwined hands as her eyes slowly followed up his arm, finally, their eyes met once more. Her head shook. "I can't lie to myself or you about the way I feel. I do love you. I do."
A soft sigh escaped her, "but..."
"Gin, and Yumiko." Vale added.
Her head nodded slowly as it hung low and she looked to the floor. "I love Gin. You love Yumiko." She growled her head shaking wildly. "Why does this have to be so hard?" She looked quickly up at him again.
"Can we act as if there is nothing between us? And if we do. What will happen to us in the end? Will we grow to hate Gin and Yumiko because the love we share together had to suffer and be pushed aside or ignored? Will we start to hate one another because of the situation?" Her hand tightened around his. "There is nothing fair about this no matter how we look at it. We will all suffer from this. The question is. Who will suffer the worst?"

"I don't want any of us to suffer." answered Vale. "But, its going to happen. So, for now, tend to our son. I am off to Las Noches. If you see Yumiko, let her know where I've gone. Okay?" Kita nodded, letting go of Vale's hand.
Vale's eyes fell to the blade resting by the bed. "That's not your blade, is it?"

Kita looked the way of her sword resting peacefully against the wall at the side of the bed. She nodded slowly, "Its the sword Aizen gave to me years ago. The one Vacanze got me has been lost or Kisuke has put it away for safe keeping."
She looked over to Vale as he stepped toward the sword. "Why do you ask? You did know Yumiko brought it to me, right?"

Vale narrowed his eyes slightly. "Don't use that blade." grunted Vale. "Don't use anything that Aizen gave you. In fact, give it to Kisuke for safe keeping."
"Why?" questioned Kita.
"Because, Aizen doesn't do anything out of the kindness of his heart. Everything he does...The man has patience. What he does either has an immediate result. Or, one much later. I wouldn't trust it. Give it to Kisuke."
Kita nodded. "I'll do it today."
"Thank you." Vale walked to the door, glancing over his shoulder at Kita. "I'll be back later, alright?"

Kita gave him a warm smile and a quick nod. "Please be careful. I do want to see you later today."
He returned her smile and disappeared from her sight. When he was gone she walked over to the sword resting against the wall. Picking it up by the sheath she looked at it, Vale's words echoing in after thought.Aizen doesn't do anything out of the kindness of his heart. What he does either has an immediate result. Or, one much later. I wouldn't trust it.Give it to Kisuke. Her other hand then lifted, taking a hold of the hilt. A click sounded in the room."Mom?"Kita looked up quickly as Sojiro walked in the room with Kadaj in his arms. "Sojiro. You startled me." She released the hilt of the sword, turning, she placed the sword back in its resting place as she heard Sojiro apologize."I did not mean to. Sorry." She stepped toward him with a wide smile as she reached out for Kadaj. "It's fine." She took the infant in her arms as Sojiro turned and the two started out of the room. "I am going to the shop today to see Kisuke. Do you want to go?" Sojiro nodded as he looked over at her. "Alright then, lets get some breakfast so we can do that."
The two walked to the kitchen to get their day started in the right direction.~END RP~ "Matters of Emotion":

"Reoccurring":As her eyes opened slowly she could feel the weight of her body pulling at the sockets of her shoulders. Her feet were on the ground, but her knees were buckled placing her weight on her arms and shoulders as she hung where someone had chained her in a room. Blinking a few times to clear her vision she noticed without lifting her head the room was dark and dank. Her senses picking up on the scent of blood, sweat, tears and above all fear.
Where was she? And who was the one that brought her here? Slowly she lifted her head readying herself for anything that she might see. The room was empty. It was only her. Or well it was. Until the man she loathed worse than Loki appeared in front of her."Welcome, Goddess."She startled, quickly pushing her legs up under her, stumbling back. The clatter of her bindings sounded out filling the silent room with only their sound and the soft chuckle of Sada Teruo. His clawed hand lifted as his fingertips softly caressed her jaw line. She turned her head to avoid his touch, but with no avail as his fingertips stopped at her chin. Gently he turned her head back to look at him lifting it slightly until their eyes met. He leaned in closer to her as a wide grin formed on his face.“Do wake up. There is no pleasure in devouring one that can not struggle back.”She struggled against her bindings as she was able to move slightly back from the demon in front of her. This causing Sada to take a small step backward as he looked at her. His hand rolled upward and out toward her as he looked into her eyes.“Though I do enjoy easy prey, I prefer a beating heart to sink my teeth into." Poison flowed from Teruo's mouth as his grin grew wide. "But, I will break you first. In a manner you're accustomed to, of course - To break you, I will break someone else first. But, who should it be, dear goddess? I'll let you choose." She growled softly at him as her eyes narrowed to near slits. “No one. Your illusions are mere parlor tricks. I know they are not real.”"Are they?" Teruo's grin grew wider still. "Illusions are not tangible. Illusions cause wonder and amazement. I prefer death and destruction. Which means, what you see is quite real...Despair and all."Before she could say another word, before she could blink, Gin’s severed head was eye to eye with her. His beautiful blue eyes were colorless and his voice dry and scratchy.“Help me Kita… Help me… Please…”Sweat rolled down Kita's spine from her neck as she shot straight up in bed. Her eyes were wide open, her skin chilled and damp from sweat. Tossing the covers aside she swung her feet to the floor as she leaned forward. Her long raven hair falling around her as her head now rest in her hands, her elbows resting to her knees. She closed her eyes only to open them split seconds later from the vision of Gin still haunting her mind from the dream.
She pushed her long dark hair back from her face and shoulders with one hand and stood from the beds edge. Reaching over she picked up her robe from the foot of the bed and put it on. She then turned and started out of her room. It had been three years since Gin had disappeared. A year and a half since Vale's disappearance. She was sure the only way she would ever see them again was in the terrifying, reoccurring dreams she was having of them both and the devilish hollow Sada.
Walking over to Kadaj’s room she silently pushed open the door to peek in on him. She smiled softly as she looked on at her bundle of joy, sound asleep, curled up with his blanket in the middle of his bed. Pulling the door closed as silently as she opened it, she headed off toward the kitchen. It had been a long three years, but when Vale stopped coming by to see her and Kadaj; the last year and a half really dragged along. She was thankful to work though, it was nice to be back at the clinic with Isshin and it beat sitting around the house worrying herself sick about the men of her life. The only one she did not have to worry about was little Kadaj. Since he was still at her side, he was only three so of course that would be a given. Sojiro however had left the home. The academy had finally reopened its doors about six months after their return and at that point, Sojiro was off to the academy for the Gotei 13.
His first year was rather rough on him with being away from his mother and his worry for his father, but he finally got himself on track. Bettering himself greatly. He would have graduated his second year, but with his Godly powers, Kyoraku, Ukitake and Kisuke thought it was best if he stayed another year. He did as they suggested. Picking up extra classes to better himself and tutoring to help the ones that were struggling to get through. Sojiro was progressing in leaps and bounds. He proved to them he was more than they expected. He made a name for himself and became his own person. He was strong, in control of his emotions, his soul reapers powers and even in control of his Godly powers. There was not much the boy could not do if challenged with a task. Kita was so proud of her boy that the mere thought of him made her smile and glow brightly with pride.
Pouring herself a cup of hot tea she sat back down at the table, her fingers combing through her hair. Three years have come and gone. Three years of hope and praying that Gin and now Vale would come home. Her arm fell across the table as she laid her head to rest on top of it, her gaze across the room focusing on nothing in particular, her mind on both men.
Please hear me. She thought to herself as tears rolled down the side of her face. “Please come home. Vale. Gin. Come home.” Her words but a whisper, but she put them out there with all her heart.
Her eyes closed forcing more tears from them as past memories of Vale and Gin danced in her mind.

"Wings of an Angel":Three days had passed as the sun rose on that Tuesday morning. Kisuke sitting at the bedside of one Gin Ichimaru. Between the four, himself, Yoruichi, Tessai and Kita they had healed Gin's wounds as far as they could. However, his eyes still did not open unless it was in sheer terror and he was screaming, trying to get away from whatever it was that tormented him. His hand reached across the bed over the top of Gin as it caressed the long raven hair of his adopted daughter Kita. Her hands were at Gin's shoulders and her head rested to his chest as she sat straddled across the hips of the man she devoted her life to. "Hold him down!" Her frantic eyes looked to him as he bellowed his demands trying to fill yet another syringe to sedate him as Tessai used a mind altering Kido to help sooth the fractured mind.
"I am trying!" She screamed looking back to the man under her as she shoved him back into the bed a hand on either shoulder as he screamed, eyes open wide in a terror she had only seen in the eyes of others that have lived through the Hell of one Sada Teruo.
Moments later with the injection and Tessai still administering the Kido the man settled down. That's where she fell asleep after a good hour of sobs that had left her weary body. He smiled warmly at her as his hand then drew back and he lifted from the chair were he sat at the bedside. Morning was upon them and he needed to check on the others. Sojiiro was a wreak as well. Opting to stay home from the academy to help for as long as needed and also to be close to his father. His mother did not have the heart to send him away with what was going on and to spare little Kadaj from everything. Kita sent him with Isshin to stay at their place with him and the girls. Kita and Sojiro going by to see him daily. He stopped at the door turning back to look at her one last time, he adjusted his hat. His eyes then going to Gin as he rested peacefully beneath her. "We got a long road with you again it seems." He turned to exit the room.

Not lifting her head or moving from her position, Kita opened her eyes blinking a few times letting her eyes adjusted to the new light in the room from the darkness she woke from. "Kisuke?" She called to him not seeing him in his usual spot in the room.
"Over here Kita. I was going to check on Sojiro and see how Tessai and Yorichi were doing."
Kita lifted slowly from the top of Gin as Kisuke walked back over beside the bed and helped her off the bed and Gin. "Thank you." She sat down in Kisuke's usual chair as she looked up to him with a weak smile.
"I am sure Tessai has tea made. Would you like a cup?"
Kita nodded slowly as she looked back to Gin. Feeling a hand to her shoulder as it patted it light, Kisuke then turned and left the room closing the door behind him. Sitting there looking at Gin tears started flowing down her cheeks. A normal occurrence for her, and the sad part it was still for the same reason. To have Gin home and back at her side. Physically he was home, but mentally he was far away. So far not even she could reach him. At least before, when he was in the coma, after Rael--
Kita's thoughts froze as she stood so quickly from the chair she knocked it over behind her. "Raelin Fang!"
Without another thought not even a tear, Kita darted across the room to the closet, then to the dresser. Once she has gathered her clothes she went straight to the bathroom adjoined to the room.

Walking back in the room with a tray of tea and food, Kisuke looked around the room not seeing Kita, hearing water running in the bathroom he then realized where she was. He set the tray to the small table they had moved in the room so they could have a place to eat and still be close to Gin if he so happened to wake or have another one of his night terrors. He looked over to Gin noticing the chair had been knocked over.
A slight panic entered him as he quickly made a path to the bathroom door. Lifting his hand to knock, the door opened quickly. There in front of him a refreshed Kita stood. She looked better but the dark rings still remained under her deep blue eyes.
"Are you alright?" He reached out resting his hands to about mid arm as they slid down taking hold of her hands in his.
