"The Knocking and Holes ... (continued)Hearing something on the other side of one of the inner doors in her room Orihime turned quickly. It was Karin she could scene her strongly. She quickly made her way toward it worried what was going on. "Karin?" Orihime spoke softly so not to draw unwanted attention.

A door banged open and Orihime winced. A few minutes later, Karin slid out from under her old bed. She grabbed the older girl's hand roughly tugging her down and explaining quickly. "No time to explain. Only our doors are protected. I banged in the side room's and got in here through my hole here. We don't need the lock to get out, and if we get out, the guys don't have to come. Kita escaped. I heard the Numeros talking."

Inoue rose to her feet, "Kita escaped?" And now you want to try it, too, how do you plan on getting us out of here? The place is crawling with guards and Aizen's room is not far from here either." Inoue stepped forward looking puzzled and confused. "I hope you know what you are doing, Karin?" Inoue prepared to slid under the bed with Karin, half in disbelief that this was happening.

"So that's why my head is itching like mad," she grumbled, half to herself, "and I know about the guards." Karin crawled out of the hole to the other side. "There's a way around them," she whispered, helping Orihime to her feet, "a room they won't check." She peeked out of the doorway to the hallway. "We can hide there and maybe get a helping hand."

"Ok then, if you think you have it under control then we will head out." Inoue slid into the room to the side of hers that Karin had emerged from. "We have got to be quiet though," she whispered as Karin slid under.

"Leave it to me," Karin saluted in a fashion much like her brother before she sobered and looked out again. "Let's go," she hissed, tugging Orihime out of the room and heading down the empty hall. She kicked down and hid into the next room, pulling Orihime behind her again. "Wait again... and go." She continued down the hall with Orihime behind her.

Inoue followed Karin's commands and quietly made her way down the corridor behind her. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as they went. She half expected anything to happen at this point but it was too late to turn back now. Continued |
