"Who knows?" Juushiro chuckled, following him. "He could be having the same thought. I sent him a hell butterfly with the same remarks as I told you."

Kisuke smiled from under his hat. The first smile that had crossed his face in weeks. He slid the door more and he and Juushiro exited Kita's room.Moved

"Getting Reacquainted":(continued)He quietly led her out of his room and over to her old room. He opened the door to see Izuru passed out on Kita's bed. They both laughed quietly. He turned to her and smiled. "This is your room, even though Izuru is currently borrowing it. When you stayed here, this is where you slept. If you want, you can sleep in here again." He nodded over to the dresser. "All the clothes you need are in there. I'll wake up Izuru. You can pick out a change of clothes and I'll show you where the bathroom is. And don't worry about Ichimaru. He's fine. Just worry about yourself. He can wake himself up. Okay?"

Kita shook her head. "But Maste--"Tsukiro cupped her cheeks stopping her short the look in his eyes firm. "Gin. Kita. His name is Gin or Ichimaru. And he can wake his own a--" Tsukiro caught himself sighing and cast his eyes from her then looked back into her eyes. "He is a big boy and can take care of himself. There is no need for you tend to his every need like before. And I do mean his every need." Kita shook her head. "But he will...""He won't do shit to you while me, Kisuke and the others are here. We would never let him hurt you--physically or emotionally. If he does, we'll have his head for it. Kita, Ichimaru is not a nice person. You would be better off without him. He doesn't own you. You're not his pet. You are your own person. No one owns you and no one ever will. You don't belong to him. You belong to yourself. So don't let him hurt you and downgrade you and treat you like a toy. You are not a toy. It kills me to see you treating him like he owns you. You're nobody's property." Tsukiro's words firm but gentle to her. Kita cast her eyes down to the floor saying nothing. She then walked over to the dresser and grabbed her a new outfit for the day. Tsukiro then showed her where the bathroom was then he left to go wake Izuru.

"Waiting Out the Trade": Returning back to the shop Kita went straight to her room. She said nothing to no one as she brushed past each one. She locked the door tight and jammed it with a staff she found in her room. She went to her window and did the same. No one was getting in that room unless they came through the wall, the door or the window. She did not want to see anyone. Not even Gin. She only waited for Aizen to come collect her when he finally had the Hogyoku again and it was unsealed. Which would be in twenty-four hours. She grabbed her pillow from her bed and walked over to the corner and sat down huddling in the corner with her pillow, her arms wrapped around it tightly. Not lights. Only the darkness to keep her company.
She rocked back and forth her back softly hitting the wall behind her. She recalled all the fond memories she had as she started to cry realizing there were not many. She started to cry wishing her memories would be returned. So she recalled everything everyone at the shop told her about her life before Las Noches and Gin.
Tsukiro Kisuke Izuru Hisagi Tessai Juushiro
And anyone else that dropped hints or mention of her past life before Las Noches. She buried her face in her pillow and cried. All she could do now was wait.

Gin didn't return to the shop until the dusk had turned to night, and that night, it rained.
Shrugging his shoulders if he started to get the chills, the fox didn't stop his slow walk. Water plastered his sliver hair to his head and turned it grey. His shihakusho hung onto him like a sluggish second skin. It didn't bother him. The bleak evening reminded him of Rukongai so many years ago, what he had done, what he gone without, and why it mattered still.
It also reminded him of the night he had made his first kill and brought himself to his master's dark attention.
Rain and the inconveniences of it were just another part of his scenery.
And it was better than blood.
Melting into the shadows, Gin slithered through the dark alley to the darkened side of the shop. Hearing Kita's weeping, he paused but didn't disturb it. He just slid down the wall and looked up at the dull sky, listening, as mud started soaking into his clothes.

She knew he was back as she looked up and around her room trying to locate his whereabouts. After a few seconds she had found him. He was outside and not far from her. She glared his way as anger now built up inside her. So many things coursed her mind, but after hours of thought it still did not matter what she felt or how she thought. It all dwelled down to the same thing.
It was not her life to live as she saw fit anymore. It was destiny that lead her the destiny of the Seraph and it was a destiny she could not walk away from.
She stood with a heavy sigh and walked over to her window. She unlocked it and lifted it as high as it would go then climbed out, walking over to Gin. She stood there until he looked up at her. The rain falling down around them both. Her hair growing wetter by the second as well as her clothing. She only stood there watching him knowing he was hurting feeling his pain, but she still said nothing as she looked at him.

Gin finally broke the silence between them. "You shouldn't be out in the rain so much, dearie. You'll catch a cold."
"You have a lot of room to talk. You're soaked to your soul." Kita said still looking at him as he squatted down against the shop.
Gin chuckled shortly. "My soul is this way. It will live," he murmured. "You need to go indoors." He still hadn't taken his eyes off the dreary sky, tracing raindrops as they fell onto his head.
Kita growled and narrowed her eyes. "BULLSHIT! Why do you have to be so hard on yourself? I HATE THAT ABOUT YOU!!"
With a large grin across his face, Gin replied. "Sorry, dearie, it's the way it is."

Kita felt her rage build higher she quickly stood in front of him and drew back her open hand and slapped Gin across his cold wet face. His head turned quickly as the water that soaked him flew from his hair and face from the force of the slap and the turn of his head. Tears started to sting her eyes making their way down her cheeks; however, the rain kept it hid well as she let them flow.
"Then give up. Lay down and die for all I care. That's what you want to do anyway. So just do it. Do us all a favor and just die."
She turned away from him and walked back toward her bedroom window.
"At least if you die before I do--and I don't plan on dying anytime soon--then the promise you made to Kisuke or whoever you made it to will be null and void."

"Dearie," he purred. She paused. "How many times have I told you..." Gin vanished and reappeared in front of her. He grabbed her arms and pushed her against the wall, getting in her face. "How many times must I repeat this? You are not something I can just abandon!" he hissed in her face, sky blue eyes bleeding through his drenched bangs. "Kisuke and his damn words have nothing to do with that promise."

Her eyes still narrowed she pushed against him trying to shake his grip from her. It didn't work as he kept her in place against the wall. "Then get over it! Like you told me in Las Noches 'different situations call for different circumstances'. This is no different. You have been on the receiving end of Aizen's hell for how many centuries? Its not like this is anything new to you. So he has hit closer to home this time--" She fell short, hanging her head. "That doesn't mean you give up."
She lifted her head looking into his eyes. "It just means you fight back harder." She shook her head. "I am not about to give up. Not now. Not ever. I have too many people behind me to help me push forward. To help me fight, and even if we don't win. At least we put up a good fight and didn't lay down and let him have his way."
"And why? Why can't you just walk away from me? I have caused you nothing but pain." She looked deep into his eyes not breaking that contact.

As her words rained down on him and she asked her question, the tentative idea in his mind clarified to a precise plan of action.
"That's far from the truth, Kita," Gin stated quietly. He leaned forward and kissed her cheek. "You created ties to myself without any pressure, past, or any effort on my part. It is something completely unique to anything else I hold. When I told you it would be hell to break it," he chuckled shortly, "I meant it. Any pain our relationship causes me is from other trying to tear you from me." He stroked her sopping hair out of her eyes. "My little piece of innocence."
His eyes sharpened and he smiled. "Who said I was giving up? Am I not allowed to enjoy the rain a little bit?"

Kita looked at him shaking her head. "Sitting in the rain and letting it pound down on you is not enjoying the rain. It's called moping and giving up." Her looked turned hard as she looked into his eyes.
"I won't let you give up. I won't let you die. For me or for any reason. I don't take lightly to losing friends and I am not going to start now."
Gin looked at her the same smile across his lips. "What did he tell you? I know you and Aizen talked. I can tell by your actions and mood."

"Do you really need to hear about something that silly in the rain, dearie?" Gin asked, tone light. He tilted his dripping head at her. "I mean, you're the one complaining about me being out here this long," he pointed out, teasing her warmly.
The truth was that he hadn't decided if he was going to tell her. Or tell anyone. He knew what he had to do. No one else needed to know the rest.

She took his hand. "Then lets go in and get out of these wet clothes and I will ask again. I will get you to tell me. One way or another." Her smile turning sly. "Maybe I will tell you something I have come to conclusion on."
