Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 487 “Understanding His Actions”: It was well after midnight, and Kita couldn't sleep. She made her way into the kitchen of her new prison, hoping that a cup of hot tea might relax her enough to lull her to sleep. She filled the teapot at the sink and set it on the stove, turning the burner on. She was mid-turn when her captor spoke.“Can’t sleep?” Kita nearly jumped out of her skin, clutching her chest. "I’m going to put a damn bell on you."Aizen chuckled softly. "That would be quite the turn of events. Don’t you agree?" Kita shook her head and walked to the table. "It’s been 15 years since I’ve slept alone."“Well, if that’s your only problem, I—” “Don’t even!” Kita interrupted, holding up her hand to stop him. She ran her hands through her hair in frustration.“What’s wrong, Kita?” Aizen asked, his tone surprisingly gentle. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with a mix of confusion and frustration. "I don’t get why you can’t let them know where I am. You know Gin—"“He is out looking for you,” Aizen cut her off. “He and Vacanze both.” He reached across the table and lifted her left hand. “They’re tracking you with this. They got close today, but the barrier makes the ring's signature too weak for them to pinpoint you.” Kita slowly pulled her hand back, staring at the promise ring Gin had given her years ago. "Why are you doing this?" she demanded. "The real reason, Aizen. If you’re trying to turn over a new leaf, this is the wrong way to do it. Kidnapping me is only making things worse."Aizen’s eyes danced with mischief, a smirk tugging at his lips. He opened his mouth to speak, but Kita wrinkled her nose and gestured for him to stay silent. "Don’t. Just don’t. You may have never lied to me or anyone else, but you sure know how to hide the truth under forty layers of BS."She gave him a pointed look as he stood up. The teapot began to whistle, and she watched as he moved around the kitchen, making tea. She waited, hoping he would explain without his usual manipulation. Finally, he placed a steaming cup of tea in front of her.“Just the way you like it, my dear.” Aizen sat back down, still silent on her question. Kita sighed, sliding the cup closer and staring into the golden liquid. The room was quiet except for the clinking of china as they drank their tea. With another heavy sigh, she looked at Aizen.
“Can I ask you a question, Aizen?”Aizen nodded slowly. “If you had reached your goal, what would you have done with the opportunity?”

Aizen leaned back, his gaze thoughtful. "My goal was always to transcend the limitations of our existence," he began. "To become a god, to bring about a new order where the strong could guide the weak. I believed that only through absolute power could true peace be achieved. The Hogyoku was the key to that power."
He paused, looking into his tea. "But as I pursued this path, I realized the cost. The lives shattered, the betrayals... the pain inflicted on so many, including you."
Kita watched him, her skepticism tempered by a flicker of curiosity. "And now? What do you hope to achieve by keeping me here?"
Aizen met her gaze, his expression uncharacteristically sincere. "Redemption, perhaps. Or at least, a chance to protect something precious. The Hogyoku inside you is too dangerous to be left unchecked. By keeping you hidden, it prevents my Hogyoku from finding yours and them merging. If that happens…" He shook his head. “The Hogyoku I possessed was already more powerful than it should have been because I merged it with the one Kisuke created. Can you imagine the consequences if it merged with yours?”
Kita's eyes widened slightly as she absorbed his words.
Aizen continued his tone grave. "The power of three merged Hogyokus would be beyond anything we've seen. It would be uncontrollable, a force that could reshape or destroy everything we know. I cannot allow that to happen, and protecting you is the only way to ensure it doesn't."
He paused, studying her face for a reaction. "I understand that you have no reason to trust me, Kita. My past actions have given you every reason to doubt my intentions. But this is not about power or control. It's about preventing a catastrophe that would affect us all."
Kita remained silent, her skepticism evident, but Aizen could see the flicker of understanding in her eyes.
"This is my way of atoning," he said softly. "By keeping you safe, I am preventing a disaster of unimaginable proportions. It's all I can offer for now, and perhaps, in doing so, I can begin to make amends for the past."
Kita looked down at her tea, her fingers tightening around the cup. After a moment, she nodded slowly. "It's a start."
Aizen nodded, a rare look of gratitude in his eyes. "It's all I can offer, for now."

“No, you can go see your brother and tell him what you are doing. At least then they’ll know you’re not doing this out of malice. They will understand there is a true concern here,” Kita stated.Aizen sighed, shaking his head. “They will want to know where you are. I cannot take the risk of them drawing attention to this place. Gin will want to be here with you, as will the children. I can’t have people coming and going from here. It will draw unwanted attention. That is not keeping you protected, Kita. I would be putting you in danger.” His head shook again as he looked down into his cup of tea. “I am sorry, Kita, but I cannot take that chance with the danger that looms over our heads right now.” Kita frowned, her frustration evident. “But keeping me isolated isn't the answer either. You know Gin is not going to stop until he finds me.”Aizen's gaze softened slightly. “I know Gin's determination all too well. Even if he tried to be discreet, the risk is too great. The Hogyoku's power is a magnet for those who seek it, and they would stop at nothing to find it.” Kita sighed, looking down at the promise ring on her finger. “I hate this, Aizen. I hate being a prisoner, even if it's for my own protection.”Aizen reached across the table, gently placing his hand over hers. “I understand your frustration, Kita. But please believe me when I say this is the only way to ensure your safety. The merging of the Hogyokus would create a power so immense, it could destabilize everything we know. I can't allow that to happen.” Kita looked up at him, her eyes filled with a mix of anger and resignation. “And how long are you planning on keeping me here? I have a family. I have a life.”Aizen's expression softened further, a rare vulnerability in his eyes. “I know this is difficult for you. But sometimes, the hardest choices are the ones that must be made to protect the greater good.” She studied him for a moment, searching for any sign of deception. But all she saw was a man who, despite his many sins, seemed genuinely determined to protect her. “It's hard to trust you, Aizen. After everything.”“I hope, in time, you’ll see that my intentions are genuine." Aizen admitted, "Protecting you is not just about atonement for me. We are dealing with something that will affect us all.” He sighed and set his teacup back to the table. “If a way can be found to destroy the Hogyoku that you harbor in your body. Then and only then can you leave this barrier.” “So go talk to your brother. The two of you can figure it out.” Tears stung her eyes as she sniffled. “I want to go home, Aizen.” She looked up at him as her tears broke free and trickled down her cheeks. “Please, work with your brother and find a way. Please.”~END RP~ "The Untold Story of Kita Miyamoto"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: The ChaosEpisode 506 "In the Grand Scheme": Aizen sat at the table, savoring the delicate flavor of his tea, when he and Kita simultaneously sensed a familiar reiatsu just outside the house. It wasn't Gin—Gin hadn't come near this place in the two weeks since they’d been hiding here, though he had visited the shop to see Sojiro. Aizen calmly set his teacup down and glanced over at Kita before rising from his seat. "I’ll handle this," he said smoothly. Kita, drying her hands, turned to him. "Why don’t you just let him in? If the two of you are seen outside, they’ll know where I am. It’s safer to let him come in."Aizen’s eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of amusement flickering in them. "Very well, but only this once." With that, he exited the kitchen, stepping outside to meet Seto and allow him through the barrier. Moved

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: The ChaosEpisode 506 "In the Grand Scheme": (continued) Kita's face lit up with a wide smile as she quickly crossed the room, her joy evident in the way she moved. Seeing someone other than Aizen was a relief, and the sight of Seto with Kadaj only heightened her happiness. When she was close enough, she wrapped her arms around Seto, careful not to disturb the small bundle he carried.
"It’s so good to see you," she said warmly, stepping back just enough to let him take Kadaj out of the carrier. Her eyes softened as Seto handed their youngest son to her, and she cradled him close, giving him a gentle yet affectionate hug.
"How have things been in the world of the living?" she asked, her gaze locked on Seto as she kissed the top of Kadaj's little bald head. As she looked down at their son, her voice grew more serious. "Has Kisuke made any progress in finding a way to destroy this thing inside me?" She sighed, her fingers lightly brushing Kadaj’s cheek. "You’ve grown so much in just two weeks. If Kisuke doesn’t hurry, you’ll be in school before I’m set free."

"Not that I've had the chance to ask." said Seto. He smiled as he watched Kita love on Kadaj. "From what I've gathered from Kenji, he's pretty much locked himself in his lab. Tessai makes himself seen to makes sure everyone is alright. Especially Soji. Yoruichi comes and goes as black cats tend to do. Kenji is trying to stay busy. He has the shop and he's been training Ide."
Seto looked to Aizen. "I'm here because I need you to do something for me. Something you should have done to two weeks ago...Albeit in a different manner."

Aizen observed the exchange between Kita and Seto with an impassive expression, his eyes flicking between them as Seto spoke. As Seto finished, Aizen’s gaze sharpened, a faint smile playing on his lips.
"Locked in his lab, is he?" Aizen mused, his tone betraying a hint of amusement. "Kisuke’s dedication is admirable, though unsurprising. And Kenji… well, he’s always been one to keep himself occupied."
When Seto turned to him with a request, Aizen’s smile deepened, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes. "Something I should have done two weeks ago?" he echoed, his voice smooth and measured. "Intriguing. And what, pray tell, is this task you’ve come to request of me? I assume it’s something only I can do, given your insistence."
The air around them seemed to hum with the weight of unspoken implications, Aizen’s curiosity piqued despite his calm demeanor.

"Bring him back." Seto's eyes narrowed as he continued to focus on Aizen. "Bring Gin back. I know that you talked to him. I know that you walked away from him. And, I know that you know what he's up to...Because I know."
Seto looked at Kita for just a moment. He stepped closer to Aizen. "Gin, for as fucking brilliant as he is, he can't see beyond his own bullshit. He is jeopardizing everything to prepare for a game that he will not win. Sojiro needs him. Kisuke needs him. Kita needs him." Seto shook his head and inhaled deeply. "You, strangely enough, are the one he needs right now. Because if I do it, I'll kill him. You...like him. You're entertained by him...I don't see you being the one to bring him down."

Aizen’s smile didn’t waver, but a glint of something dangerous flickered in his eyes as Seto made his demand. He listened in silence, the words washing over him like waves against an unyielding shore. When Seto finished, Aizen tilted his head slightly, his expression a mask of calm contemplation.
"So, you want me to bring Gin back," Aizen repeated, his voice smooth, almost conversational. "You’ve certainly done your homework, Seto. You’re right—I did speak with him, and yes, I know exactly what he’s up to."
Aizen’s gaze shifted briefly to Kita, then back to Seto, his smile thinning into something colder. "Gin has always been... singular in his approach. His brilliance is matched only by his arrogance, and that combination can be rather self-destructive. But you're mistaken if you think I don’t see the larger picture. I am well aware of what’s at stake."
He stepped closer to Seto, his voice lowering, a steely edge creeping into it. "You think I’m entertained by him? Perhaps. But don’t mistake that for leniency. Gin is playing a game he barely understands, and you’re correct—he won’t win. But I’ll decide when and how to intervene. Not because I’m the one who entertained by him, but because I’m the one who knows when to pull the strings."
Aizen’s smile returned, a calculated, inscrutable expression. "So, I will consider your request, Seto. But remember—Gin’s fate isn’t solely in my hands. It’s in his own. And I’m curious to see how far he’ll go before he realizes that."

Kita watched the exchange between Aizen and Seto, her brow furrowing slightly as the tension between them thickened. She shifted Kadaj in her arms, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of his head before speaking, her voice soft but laced with concern.
"Aizen," she began, her tone urging but cautious, "If you don’t step in now, things could spiral out of control faster than any of us can manage."
She glanced at Seto, then back at Aizen, her eyes pleading. "I know you’re always ten steps ahead, but this isn’t just about Gin. It’s about Sojiro, Kisuke, and all of us. You’re the only one who can reach him before it’s too late. Please… if there’s even a chance to bring him back from the edge, take it."
Kita’s gaze softened as she looked down at Kadaj, cradling him close. "We’ve all lost too much already. Don’t let Gin’s pride take him from us."

"That's the thing, love." Seto shook his head. "He's always at an edge. The closer he is, the more reckless he is...because there's no one else there with. At least with you, he could safely wander and find a certain safety in being away from it. But, you're no longer within his reach. Or rather...The other way around."
Seto turned his attention back to Aizen. "You know this ends. No one more than you knows the Hogyoku so intimately." He smiled. "You know what will happen. Shosei is a terror...A strong little shit. He will kill everything in his path to get to her." Seto pointed to Kita. "Anything that slows him down will just enrage him."
Kita understood the gravity of the situation, which is why she was there—and why it was just her and Aizen. Anyone else would only complicate matters and risk becoming a target for Shosei. She hated being separated from her family, missed them all deeply, and longed for this to be over so she could return to her life.
Aizen nodded slowly, a subtle, calculating smile touching his lips. "Precisely why I’m here, and no one else." His tone was smooth, carrying an underlying sense of inevitability as if the situation had already played out in his mind.
"Alright." Seto shook his head. "Okay. How about this...You and Kisuke have one week to either reel Gin in or find a way to pull that Hogyoku from Kita. Seven fucking days. After that...I am going to put a hole in every fucking realm if I to in an effort to coax the fucking Soul King out of his fucking throne to end it!" There he was again...Vale. Seto took a deep breath.
"Seven days."

Aizen’s eyes narrowed slightly as he watched Seto's outburst, but his expression remained calm, almost indifferent. He allowed a brief silence to settle between them, absorbing the weight of Seto’s words before finally speaking.
"Seven days," Aizen echoed, his voice unnervingly calm, almost as if he were discussing something trivial. "A bold ultimatum, Seto. But understand this—your threats, however dramatic, don’t sway me. If I decide to act, it will be on my terms, not yours."
He leaned in just a fraction, his gaze cold and piercing. "You want to tear apart the realms? Go ahead. But remember, you’ll only be doing exactly what you claim to want to prevent—throwing everything into chaos. The Soul King won’t lift a finger to stop you. He’ll watch you burn yourself out, and in the end, you’ll be left with nothing but ashes."
Aizen’s voice softened, but the menace in it was unmistakable. "I’ll give you your seven days, not because you demand it, but because it suits my purposes. But make no mistake, Seto—if you get in my way, you’ll find out just how insignificant your threats really are."

Kita sighed, the tension in the room palpable as Aizen and Seto exchanged their veiled threats. She could feel the weight of their words pressing down on her, and it took everything in her to keep her composure. Cradling Kadaj a little closer, she finally spoke up, her voice tinged with exasperation.
"Really, you two? Tossing around threats like that?" She shook her head, a faint, tired smile tugging at her lips. "You know, if I didn’t know any better, I’d say we could all use a good dose of some hormone therapy. Might do wonders for this testosterone-fueled standoff."
She glanced between them, her gaze softening as she tried to ease the tension. "Look, we’re all on edge, and for good reason. But if we’re going to get through this, we need to stop throwing our weight around and start working together. No more ultimatums, no more posturing. We all want the same thing—so let’s focus on that, before we end up making things worse."

Seto smiled. "I should be bothered that you, like everyone else I suppose, think so little of me. But, that is to my advantage." Seto nodded and turned toward Kita. He placed a hand on Kadaj's back. "I don't really care if you move by my will or your own. I just need you to move. Just know that at the end of those seven days, either you have accomplished your goal or I will start working toward mine. That is a promise."
He looked around the hideout Aizen built, muttering to himself but loud enough for the others to hear. "A promise is a binding contract, not of words, but of power. To keep a promise is to wield that power with precision, bending the course of fate itself to ensure its fulfillment." Seto glanced over his shoulder at Aizen. "That sounds pretentious enough to be something you would say...How about this..." Seto spoke again, this time in Aizen's own voice.
"To bring the world to its end is not an act of destruction, but of creation—a rebirth where I sculpt the remnants of chaos into a new order, forged by my will alone." Seto laughed as he turned to face Kita and Aizen. He folded his arms behind his back. "How was that?"

Aizen’s eyes glinted with amusement as Seto recited his imitation of Aizen’s own rhetoric. The corner of his mouth curled into a faint, approving smile as Seto finished.
"Impressive," Aizen said, his tone smooth and slightly amused. "You’ve certainly captured the essence of my philosophy, though I would argue that true understanding of my words requires more than mere mimicry."
He took a slow, deliberate step toward Seto, his gaze sharp and calculating. "Your promise, however, does intrigue me. A binding contract of power… such a notion is quite fitting for our current predicament. I trust you understand that the 'power' in question is not just mine or yours, but the very fabric of fate and consequence we’re all entangled in."
Aizen turned his attention back to Kita, his expression softening only slightly. "Kita, if you think Seto’s threats are mere posturing, you might want to reconsider. His words, though dramatic, are backed by his resolve. But as for me, I assure you, my involvement is not simply a matter of matching promises with actions. My interest lies in ensuring that the outcome aligns with my vision."
Aizen’s gaze returned to Seto, his smile growing just a touch colder. "So, let’s proceed with this… dance of deadlines and demands. I look forward to seeing how this unfolds. But remember, both of you—failure is an option I don’t entertain lightly."
