Kita turned her head from him and pushed up slightly in her bed holding on to the sheet around her. She wanted distance between her and the man in front of her. "Then why did you make Loki my keeper if you believe that?"

Aizen moved closer to her as she pushed away. "I have ten espada. Three of them female. Only three male I could say--" Aizen stopped abruptly. "Only one I could guarantee your safety with and he is busy with two other women. However, they way you fight with Loki. I am sure Ulquiorra would have his hands full with you as well."
Kita was about to protest as Aizen lay his index finger to her lips. "Who would you like me to make your keeper since your not happy with Loki?" His finger then brushed across her lips and slowly caressed across and down her cheek as the others joined that one finger. His fingertips then slowly caressed down her neck to the top of the sheet the entire time his eyes never left hers. His smirk grew wider. "I have someone in mind, but are you will to follow his rules?"
Aizen moved over the top of her his hands resting to either side of her as she sunk back into the bed. He drew closer to her when she could move away no further. His cheek now resting against hers. "Are you willing to aid to his every beckon call?" Before she could ever blink he grabbed her wrist and pulled her from under the sheet and off the bed. He held firmly but gently to her as his eyes feasted on her nude body.
"I see why Loki likes you so much." He stepped closer to her snaking his arm around her and pulled her close. His other hand released her wrist, caressing her cheek as it slided to the back of her head. He pulled her head forward as their lips brushed together.
"I could eat you alive and leave you screaming for more. Just like I did with Yumiko." he whispered to her. "Shall I make you my second conquest?"
She tried pulling back from him as he held her firmly to him. He smirked and pressed his lips to hers in a heated kiss.

Suddenly a blade was pointed at the nape of Aizen's neck.
"You may be my master in this palace," Loki growled deeply. "But I will tolerate no one taking my mate away from me. Not even you Aizen."

Aizen lifted from the kiss with Kita. He did not even turn around. He stood there with Kita pulled close to him feeling her heartbeat pick up. "Your mate?" He looked into Kita's eyes and chuckled softly. "You belong to me. So therefore, so does your mate." At the blink of an eye Aizen was behind Loki. Kita screamed as blood splattered her body and floor, and Loki fell to her feet. Aizen turned from the frantic Kita. "Calm yourself and find something to cover your body." He walked to the door that was still standing open. "Needed or not I will kill you if you threaten me." Looking out in the hall he saw two of Szayel fracctions and called to them. When they walked in the room they saw Loki on the floor, blood pooled around him. Kita in the middle of the bed wrapped up in a sheet. "Take the fool to your Masters lab. Tell him to do nothing with him until I have spoken to him." Aizen ordered them. They nodded picking up Loki's dead body and lugged him from the room. Once they were gone. Aizen walked over to Kita offering his hand. She only sat there doing nothing. "Do you want to stay here in a room covered in your captors blood?" Kita shook her head. "Then come with me." Aizen told her. She took his hand as he helped her from the bed. "You can bathe and dress in another room." He smirked picking up the kimono from the foot of the bed as he lead them from the room. His last words hung like being caught in a web. "My room will accommodate us both very well." |

"The Divine Setup": Szayel tinkered around in the room waiting for lord Gin to show. There were a few more things that needed to be set in place. The Aeronite crystal being one of them. Szayel had taken a few of the smaller crystals for the Aeronite and crushed it into dust then dusted various places in the room with it. The largest portion of the crystal was saved for other matters they might need it for. The new choker he had created for the Seraph laid in wait for lord Gin to show so he could inspect Szayel's handy work.
Slowly Szayel worked away making sure nothing was overlooked. The last thing he wanted was to let lord Aizen down and he took way too much pride in his work to let it be shody. He just hoped lord Gin's inventions held up with his. After the escape of the woman Kita he was starting to have doubts about Gin. In more than just one way. There was something different about him this time from the last time he served the Master. Szayel could feel it in the pit of his stomach.
This time if things went bad there would be no coming back for any of them. Lord Gin would make sure of it.
Szayel walked across the room as the door slowly creaked open.

As the door opened lasers of three different colors activated. Green lines crisscrossed over the walls and ceiling. A blue flare settled over the windows and the doors, and yellow lines started reaching down, hissing as they slowly descended. A long hand flipped his control switch. Grinning widely, Gin walked through.
"I see you're already here, Szayel," he greeted in a nonchalant tone. "You really enjoy little projects Aizen gives you to redefine the rules of power here."
Szayel chuckled. "I am sure I don't know what you mean by that, Lord Gin."
The reaper waved his hand with a slow smirk. "First, you did something to the soul reaper weapon, then there's something that severely cut off the brat's power just now, and finally, there are all the twists and turns in this thorny cage." He turned to a wall, pressing a button on his control pad to get it to open and started checking some wires and mirrors.

Szayel laughed and went on about his business. "And you talk about me. Did you not like my little collar for the soul reapers? So much easier to deal with when their powers are dormant. I could whip you one up for that little vikinx of yours you know." He stood looking at Gin pushing up his glasses brush in hand.
"Maybe we can fit her for one when you bring her to my lab for her blood work." He chuckled softly.

"Don't you think that would be overkill after we've extracted the seraph?" Gin asked before snapping two wires together to light the power switch below him. Slitted eyes gleaminh at having learned more useful information as to the noble's situation, he closed the panel and wiped his hands.

"Your right." Szayel looked to Gin. "She will be only human then. She may die the second the seraph is extracted from her. With all the overwhelming reiatsu flowing around her I doubt her frail soul and body could handle it." Szayel pushed his glasses up again and turned back to his work. "What a shame too. You seem you have taken a liking to her."

Gin snickered. "And as the snake that I am I will swallow her whole," he responded smoothly. He pressed a series of buttons on his remote to check the tube in the wall where they would be putting the blood extracted from Kita for Sumi's barrier. As the mortal body kept the Sumi's powers controllable, he and Szayel had agreed that a barrier made with her blood would act in the same manner. "Is the Aeronite crystal everything you hoped it would be?"

Szayel turned finishing his last bit of dusting. "From the information I have collected and the data with the experiments. Yes." He set his brush and container to a nearby table. "With that it is proven to work, however." Szayel sighed.
"We won't know for sure until it is used on the Seraph." He tilted his head slightly his eyes now locked with Gin's. "Tell me Lord Ichimaru? Can Kita use the powers of the seraph?"

Although he didn't want to, Gin answered in the easiest way to satisfy the scientist's questions. "The seraph heals her of her wounds much in the same way Orhime would heal others," the reaper replied without skipping a beat.
He turned and closed the hole with the tube. "I suppose that would the be the most difficult part to test without a seraph," he noted quietly.

Szayel cocked his head up and stepped closer to Gin. "Really?" He then stepped over a line he should have not crossed with Gin. "You were with her last night, correct?" Gin turned his head slowly eyes narrowed as Szayel pushed his questioning further.
"Lord Aizen informed me that your wounds were severe. Who healed you, Ichimaru? The Inoue woman is gone."

Gin chuckled quietly. "I may have persuaded her to use her powers on me," he admitted. "She sees me as someone she can trust just because we happened to share the same roof for a time."

"Hmm?" Szayel hummed. "So she can use her powers." Szayel turned on his heel and walked back over to his brush and canister.
He picked it up and walked over to another table, picking up the choker. With a quick turn he looked at Gin walking toward him. "Bring her to my lab later today. We will test the Aeronite crystal on her before the seraph is released. It might take something drastic to let the seraph use her power for us to find out if it will work." A wicked grin crossed his lips. "But I think I have just the ticket to make it work for us."
He clinched his hand around the choker. "If things get too bad we might be able to kill two birds with one stone and get blood from her at the sametime." He chuckled softly.
