Fuu laughed, shaking her head. “Oh, so now you miss being Fourth Seat, huh? Guess you didn’t realize how much easier you had it,” she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “But I’m glad you’re holding down the fort, even if it’s a lot of work. I know you’ll handle things just fine.”
She leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms as she gave him a playful look. “Still, don’t get too comfortable. I’m coming back once all this is behind me, and I’ll be expecting my office to be in perfect order when I do. No slacking off while I’m gone, okay?”
Her tone was light, but there was a flicker of something serious in her gaze as she added, “And hey… thanks. It means a lot knowing you’ve got things under control while I’m away. I trust you, Susumu. Just be very careful when digging for information on this Robin Hood group."

Susumu finished off his plate and smiled warmly at Fuu. "Don't worry about it. I'll be careful. You do what you gotta do and leave everything to me. And if you find out anything on the Robin Hood group, be sure to let me know. Especially if it's something you can't investigate right away. I'll pick up the slack."
Once they both were finished, Susumu picked up his and Fuu's plates as well as his empty juice glass and carried them to the sink. "Since you didn't let me help with cooking, I'll do dishes."

Fuu smiled as she watched Susumu gather the dishes. “You know, you’re making this way too easy for me,” she teased, getting up from the table. “But hey, if you insist, I won’t stop you. Knock yourself out with the dishes.”
She stretched her arms above her head, letting out a small sigh before turning back to the mess of boxes still scattered around the apartment. “I’m going to dive back into unpacking. Gotta make this place feel like home, right?”
Fuu paused in the doorway and glanced back at him, a softer smile on her face now. “Thanks for the help, Susumu. And for being there. I’ll let you know if I dig up anything useful. You can count on it.”"Don't worry about it," Susumu assured her. "We'll get all this figured out, and then you can come back to Ninth and kick ass like you always do." He turned around and grinned at her, earning a laugh from her. With that, she turned and headed toward the living room, rolling up her sleeves as she eyed the next box. “Now, where was I?” she muttered, getting back into the rhythm of settling into her new space.-END- "Purple Hyacinth"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: The ChaosEpisode 569 "Lunch Interrupted": The midday sun spilled through the window, warming Fuu’s small apartment as she finished putting away her purchases from the marketplace. She stretched, enjoying the satisfying order of a well-stocked pantry before she turned her attention to her lunch. The simple bowl of rice and vegetables she’d made looked delicious, and after the busy morning, she was ready to savor every bite.
Sighing contentedly, Fuu took a seat, picked up her chopsticks, and had just begun to eat when a firm knock echoed through the apartment.
She stilled, chopsticks hovering mid-air. Her mind ran through a quick list of who might be dropping by unannounced, but no one came to mind. Pushing back her chair, she set her chopsticks down and rose, making her way to the door.
Opening it, she found herself face-to-face with Hisagi. His dark eyes met hers with their usual calm, but she didn’t miss the slight crease in his brow, the trace of tension around his mouth. He rarely showed up without warning unless there was something pressing, and seeing him now made her heart skip a beat.
"Hisagi?" she said, letting surprise slip into her voice. "I wasn’t expecting you."“Sorry for dropping in like this,” he said, managing a small, apologetic smile. “Mind if I come in for a minute?”“Of course.” She stepped aside, and he entered, his presence filling the room with a quiet but tangible energy. Once he’d removed his shoes, she gestured for him to sit, but he remained standing, glancing around as if collecting his thoughts.
“Did something happen?” she asked, watching him closely. It was unlike him to appear this way, without a trace of his usual laid-back demeanor.

He hesitated, then looked at her with a faint, conflicted look. “Fuu, there’s something…I want to ask you, and it concerns your leave of duty.”
"What about it?" Fuu took a seat at the table to eat her lunch.
"Well," he combed his fingers through his hair. "Renji told me something I think had something to do with it."
Fuu’s heart thudded painfully at the mention of Renji and his mentioning something about her. Did he open his mouth? Did he tell anyone else? She’d uncovered that information only recently but what she found was not what she was looking for. And now, it seemed the secret was seeping out, like cracks in a dam. Damn you Nagano! Your boy spilled his guts.
She forced her expression to remain neutral, though her mind raced. “And what might that be?” She took a bite of her rice.
“That your dismissal was because of some information you uncovered,” Hisagi said, his gaze steady on her. “And since you’re the one always finding the best stories for the Seireitei Communication…I thought... I should check in.”
Fuu let out a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding but nodded. “Yes, my dismissal was because of some information I uncovered.”
“So you did uncover information about the Masanobus,” Hisagi gave her a knowing look, but there was warmth in it, understanding. “Listen, I know you’re good at what you do, Fuu, but...be careful with this one, okay?”

Fuu met Hisagi’s gaze, her chopsticks poised as she considered his words. His concern was palpable, and though she wanted to brush it off with a casual remark, she knew it wouldn’t ease the tension hanging in the room.
She gave a small nod. “I know what I’m doing, Hisagi. I didn’t go looking for this information to stir trouble.” She paused, taking a careful bite of her rice as if it could shield her from his unrelenting gaze. “But sometimes, you find things you can’t unsee.”
“Fuu, this isn’t just any story,” he said, his tone soft yet firm. “The Masanobus… they’re tied to the noble families. The closer you get, the more dangerous it becomes.”
Fuu’s eyes flickered with a mix of pride and defiance. “I'm fine, and I am not turing what I found into a story.” She set her chopsticks down, finally meeting his gaze with resolve.
Hisagi studied her in silence for a moment, his brow furrowing with concern, but a hint of admiration lingered there too. “I figured you’d say that,” he murmured. “I just wish… you didn’t have to carry this alone.”
“Again, I am fine. I'm kind of under their protection, or radar. Whichever. Right now its protection, but with Yorusuke, Renji, and now you knowing. It's going to turn into an assassination, and not just for me.”
He chuckled nervously rubbing the back of his head, the tension remaining. “Hmm, add one more to that.”
Fuu’s expression changed quickly, eyes narrowing. “Who else knows?!” She shook her head, growling softly.

Hisagi took a steadying breath, lifting his hands slightly as if to deflect Fuu's rising fury. “Fuu, just… hear me out first. Renji had a rough day,” he began, preparing for the worst. “Apparently, Captain Kuchiki said something that really got under his skin. So, he dragged Izuru and me out for drinks to blow off steam.”
Fuu’s eyes narrowed, her voice turning dangerously quiet. “And why would venting about his captain lead him to blurt out my information?”
“It didn’t start out like that,” Hisagi said quickly, shaking his head. “He was talking about the captain, one complaint led to another, and… well, next thing we knew, he was mentioning what you found. It just slipped out.”
Her grip tightened around her chopsticks, her jaw set like iron. “Nagano… I told him Renji would let this slip if he wasn’t careful.” Her voice simmered with anger. “I trusted them both. This information isn’t something to be tossed around at a bar.”
“I know, Fuu,” Hisagi replied earnestly. “Renji wasn’t trying to spread it around. But it seems that what you uncovered is part of what Captain Kuchiki has been putting pressure on him about, and that’s what brought it up.”
Fuu crossed her arms, her frustration visibly spiking. “Unbelievable. Captain Kuchiki’s so determined to know what I’ve learned that he’s squeezing Renji to get answers.”
“It’s not just Renji, Fuu,” Hisagi added, his tone steady but serious. “Yorusuke’s been caught up in this too. But I swear to you, Izuru and I will take it no further. The moment I walk out that door, this conversation ends with me.”

Fuu regarded him for a tense moment before she finally exhaled, nodding. “But that is not good enough." She looked to Hisagi, "I want you to tell the other three to be at my place tonight as soon as you get off the clock. The five of us need to talk. Because the next time I hear about this from anyone else, there will be consequences.”
She glared at Hisagi, "MAJOR. CONSEQUENCES." She picked up her chopsticks once more and looked down at her food before taking up another bite. "I don't know why I should do this," she looked up at Hisagi, "I will even fix dinner for the four of you so we can talk over dinner."Hisagi nodded, "I'll pass the word along and we will be here after work."Fuu nodded as she chewed her food, lifting her drink she washed it down. "DO. NOT. Meantion why you four are coming here. Just tell them dinner at my place as soon as their off work. They cannot decline. This is mantory." Her eyes narrowed at Hisagi, "if they do decline they will have me coming after them next."Hisagi's eyes widened, understanding clearly in his eyes. "I will let them know, and we will be here, promise." A silince filled the room before Hisagi spoke up again. "I guess I will get out of here so I can let them know before my lunch is over." He turned and walked toward the door.Fuu nodded to him once more. "I will see you again tonight." She watched as Hisagi nodded and walked from the appartment leaving Fuu to finishe her lunch in peace.~END RP~
