Aizen smiled kissing his daughter's forehead softly. "Good. I don't want you to have to suffer." he turned and walked back over to the compartment putting the Hogyoku away and closing it up. When he turned he looked at Azayaka.
"Tomorrow you and I will train. I will show you how to control the hollow within you."

Azayaka stood up and moved closer to him. She knelt at his feet, bowing her head. "Yes my Lord. I would be honored to train with you. And you have my deepest gratitude for helping me."

Aizen rested his hand to the top of her head petting her hair. "Your welcome, my dear." He smiled lifting her from the floor and embraced her. "Go rest. We have a busy day tomorrow." He kissed her forehead again and released her.

Azayaka was surprised when her father embraced her. The feeling was completely foreign to her, yet she knew exactly what to do. Neither did she hesitate. She wrapped her arms around him. It lasted only a brief moment but in her mind it lasted much, much longer. When he released her, she smiled up at him and nodded. She bowed and left his room, softly closing the door behind her. She walked off, heading for her own room, striding powerfully at her full height. Across her lips was a wide smirk, identical to her father's. Her eyes were just as dangerous. The devil's princess had her vigor back. ~ End RP ~

"Abyss of Despair":(continued)Aizen walked in his room over to his bed laying Azayaka out comfortably, covering her with a blanket then gently brushing the hair from her face. He then proceeded to heal her injuries. Moments later and her skin flawless once more, Aizen raised his hand and brushed her cheek with the back of his fingers. He shook his head as he looked at his pride and joy, then stood from the bedside. "You will be stronger than I one day, my dear Azayaka." He turned and walked away from the bedside. "As long as I can get you through the growth and control of your hollow." He walked over to the couch and sat down picking up a book he was reading much earlier. Now he just waited for her strength to return and awaken.

She couldn't understand it.
One moment she was drowning in a black sea of despair and madness. Then, suddenly, she could breathe again. Her freezing cold body warmed until she felt as though she were laying asleep in a mound of blankets. The sea brightened to a beautiful blue as she rose to the surface. When her head broke to the surface, her eyes snapped open.
She didn't recognize the wall she was staring at. Nor did she recognize the feel of the sheets she was wrapped in. This was not her room. Then she remembered destroying her room. This one appeared to be in prim and proper condition. But she couldn't bring herself to care. The feeling of this bed was too good to be true. She sighed and buried herself further into the sheets. When she took a deep breath in, she caught the scent. The scent of her father. She was in her father's bed.
She resisted the urge to bolt upright. If she was in his bed, then obviously he had found her in her pitiful state. It was at that moment that she felt his presence not too far from her. She tensed and clutched the pillow. Chilling, numbing, petrifying fear coursed through her. She resisted the urge to start sobbing again. The one thing she feared more than her hollow was Sosuke Aizen.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't keep from shaking.

Looking up from his book Aizen noticed Azayaka move on the bed. He closed the book silently, setting it aside once more and stood walking toward her. He sat to the edge of the bed and pulled the blanket slightly down looking at her. Her eyes were wide and her body tensed.
"How are you feeling, Azayaka?" He asked her. "You worried me there for a bit, young lady."

Azayaka opened her mouth to respond, but no words fell from her lips. She was too preoccupied with searching his expression and body language to form a reply in her mind. She continued searching as she looked up at him. She could find nothing there; no anger, no disappointment, no irritation. Nothing. Though part of her mind was trying to tell her that there was something there that she couldn't see... or recognize.
As his hand brushed her face, she relaxed. It was then that her answers floated around in her mind.
Scared. Ashamed. Terrified. A failure. And a thousand other things.
She wanted to say, "I don't know." But that would be a lie. She would not lie to him. She had to pick one.
"Ashamed," she said as she dared to place her hand in his. "I feel ashamed." Her other arm came up over her face, shielding her eyes. "I... I let it get to me. I let my guard down. And for that, I am deeply ashamed of myself."

Aizen chuckled softly shaking his head. "You have no reason to be. What you are dealing with will not be an easy road. I did not expect you to have control of your hollow. Nor even control of your zanpakuto powers as well as you do." He let his thumb brush gently against her cheekbone. "You have exceeded my expectations for you, Azayaka. I never expected you to come to me as strong as you are today or even when I finally came to you as your father."
Her head lowering slightly as he lifted her head back up making her look him in the eyes again. "You are my daughter, Azayaka. Nothing you could ever do or say will ever make me ashamed of you. Think of you as a failure, a disgrace or make me disappointed in you."
He genuinely smiled at her, leaning forward and softly pressed his lips to her cheek. Then softly whispered to her.
"You are my pride and joy."

Azayaka's mouth fell open in shock at her father's words. And the smile on his lips--it was not the ones he gave to the riff raff around the palace. It was not one of power and authority. It was not deceiving or conniving. It was a real, truthful smile that held warmth and...
No. That couldn't be possible...
She sat up, keeping the blanket partly around her. "You... you say that now... But..." She couldn't seem to form the words. She forced herself to put her fears into words. She looked up at him, praying that her eyes did not hold tears; they burned painfully. "If I did not live up to the purpose I was created for... would you not do away with me like you would anyone else in the palace...?" She clenched her hand around the sheet, her other hand reaching out to touch his face. She ended up putting her arms around his neck instead. "I... I don't ever want to leave your side. I lived for nothing until you found me. I couldn't bear to be anywhere but at your side. So I'll do everything in my power to control the hollow inside me."

Aizen chuckled softly again wrapping his arms around his daughter and holding her gently in his grasp. "Azayaka. I do love you. I have never love a single thing in my life until you came into it. That day I changed, but only for you. To anyone else I am still the man they all remember and loth. To you I am your father and I will protect you to my last dying breath." He pulled back and looked into her eyes. His fingertips gently sliding under her chin lifting her head to look at him.
"One day the legacy I leave behind will be yours, and I know you will do me proud in following through with it."

Azayaka could not do a single thing as she drank in his words, her arms still around him. That word--that four letter word that had always tasted sickening on her tongue when she heard it, that word she could never bring herself to speak aloud. Had she heard him correctly? Did that tiny, seemingly insignificant word really come from him. Inside her, she felt the hollow hissing and screaming in rage, so it must have been true.
Her vision clouded and she felt her cheeks become damp. Tears. She was crying again. Crying on her father's shoulder as he held her. Her chest hurt. She couldn't breathe. Last time she had felt like someone was stabbing her over and over again. But now, her heart felt ten times too big for her chest.
He said she changed him, but he had changed only for her. She was the only thing he loved in his life. Those words had been said so clearly she couldn't find any room to argue with them.
Suddenly she was reminded of the tiny amounts of love her fake mother had felt for her from time to time. She felt that same thing now from her father, but it was so much larger and more potent she almost choked on it.
She couldn't stop the flow of tears, eventually succumbing to her sobbing once more. She cried and cried and cried until it hurt, but she didn't know why. Had she wanted to hear those words that badly? Those three tiny words had brought her to this state.
But when she finally ran out of tears, she couldn't remember ever feeling so light and weightless. It was as if he had lifted all the burden he had necessarily put on her all those years ago.
She finally pulled away from him, grabbing the tissues from the nightstand and wiping her face. She couldn't bear to look up at him as she sniffled and struggled to control her breathing.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't cry," she said as she wiped her face again.

"Nonsense." Aizen told her giving her chin a gently pinch. "I have placed a lot on your shoulders to make you strong, and you have walked that road with your head high. If you feel like crying in the privacy of my chambers you do that."
He stood from the bedside and turned walking across the room. "I went and got you an outfit from your room while you slept." He looked to the chair where he laid the clothes. "Get dressed and you and I will take a walk. I have many things you need to know."

Azayaka nodded, bowing as best she could while sitting. "Yes Father."
She stood up and walked over to the chair, taking the dress and heels that were sitting in the chair, then walking over to the bathroom. Closing the door behind her, she sighed, taking a moment to process everything that had just happened to her. Then she smiled and chuckled, shaking her head at how silly and ignorant she had been acting all this time. Quickly she got dressed, slipping on the hooded, white dress. the skirt was long with a slit down the front, from mid thigh all the way down, making a train in the back. The front was a plunging neck line with extra fabric that nested neatly between her breasts. The sleeves went to her wrists and the hood rested neatly at her back. She looked in the mirror, disgusted at her bloodshot eyes and blotchy face. Quickly she washed her face and used kido to eliminate the redness. She slipped on the white heels and exited the bathroom good as new.
She stopped before her father and nodded with a smile. "I am ready."

Aizen turned and gave her another smile walking toward her. "No matter what you see of me outside my private chamber," he cupped her cheek. "Remember, Azayaka. I am your father and you are always," he placed his closed fist over his heart, "right here." He then offered her his arm as she stepped up and linked her arm with his. His smile turning to a smirk. "You are my blood. My daughter. Carry your head high and your dreams and goals higher." She nodded her head sharply in understanding and returned his smile. He walked them both to the door, opening it he let her exit first then closing the door behind them. He offered her his arm once more as she took it and the two started their walk. --END RP-- "A Friend Indeed":
