Izuru knew what Renji was doing, and dammit if it didn't knock him out of his funk at least a little bit. He gave a soft chuckle and stopped to stand shoulder to shoulder with Renji. "Yeah, whatever. At least you didn't knock everything over like a bull in a china shop."
Renji chuckled back and waved at Yorusuke. "Come on, Nagano! We're leaving!" He turned back to Izuru briefly and put a hand on his shoulder. "I know we literally just went out for drinks cause of me the other day, but if you ever wanna talk, I'm here. Just say the word and we'll go drown ourselves in sake."
Izuru smiled at Renji and patted Renji's back. "Pretty sure I'll be the one drowning and you'll be the one laughing at me as you watch from the sidelines. I'll never be able to hold my liquor like you and Shuhei."
"Heh," Renji chuckled as he and Yorusuke made towards the exit. "Not with that attitude, lightweight!"
Izuru pulled one of Renji's stunts and lifted his foot, whacking him on the ass as the redhead walked past. "Just get out of my Division so I can get back to work. With you around I'll be stuck doing this till Winter Solstice."
He didn't wait for Renji to respond as he turned and headed over to one of his officers for an update.
