A moment later, Izuru was wrenched away from Kita and slammed into the table, Gin's eyes burning with rage. His hand clenched in the boy's hair. "And here I thought you were a smart pet," he hissed, keeping him down. He ignored the throbbing marks on his neck and looked over at Kita. "Sorry that he said something to disturb you, dearie."
Kita immediately forgot what had angered her and reached for him. "Master Gin, your neck- Did Aizen-"
"I will heal, Kita," he muttered, reaching into his pocket with his free hand. He held out the hairpins. "You know that our Lord likes his games. This kid was just asking about these because he remembers you wearing them the only time he saw you, but you haven't worn them here in a while."

"You bastard!" Izuru growled trying to get free with no avail. "I am not your pet! Nor will I ever be!"
Izuru felt Gin crush his head more into the table as he winced in pain. "Kita!" Izuru called out to her. "Wake up!"

Kita reached for the hairpins then hesitated looking to Izuru when he called her name. She looked to Gin again her eyes confused. She quickly grabbed the hairpins from Gin and clutched them to her chest. She walked quickly from the kitchen to her old room.

Gin waited until Kita had disappeared into her room before lifting Izuru up by his new uniform and slugging him across the face. "Don't make me have to punish you this early, Izuru," he hissed in an undertone. "I told you she will get her memories back, but there is nothing you can do about it now."

Izuru's eyes narrowed. "Aizen will have killed her before than and you know it! Damn it, Ichimaru! You know this! Why make the ones she loves and her suffer with this?" Izuru's hand shot up and pointed at nothing.
"Look at Tsukiro! He is in hell from all of this and you're not helping it out! At least let her remember them in her last dying moments!"

Hoping Kita was smart enough to stay in her room, Gin threw the idiot into his console table. "And I told you that it was out of my hands. It can't be fixed with a memory jog, and your trying it will only open doubt in her trust of me. I am not going to let her die. And as to the brat Tsukiro," he sneered, "I've given the boys hints to uncovering Aizen's games with him thus far, but he won't look past his hatred of me and listen. That's not my fault."

Izuru groaned pushing up off the console his eyes still narrowed as he stumbled forward. "Then let me talk to him! He will listen to me! He has to understand what's going on with Kita!" He stepped toward Gin. "If he don't the madness is going to eat him alive! And even if he has one of these stupid collars on..." Izuru got a lucky punch in landing it on Gin's jaw making him take back a step or two. "If he gets his hands on you. You're dead."
Izuru went to swing again as Gin caught his fist in his hand. Izuru looked Gin in the eyes. "He is that pissed he is running on pure adrenaline. You won't stop him."

"I'm not scared of the brat," the snake retorted, casually flinging his former lieutenant into the couch. "Never was, never will be. I have bigger shadows to worry about."
Walking towards him, the fox leaned over Izuru. "There's no way in hell Aizen is going to let a visit to Tsukiro slip past him until you have proven to be an obedient pet, kid," Gin murmured with a bite in his voice, "and I am not risking that kind of blatant move this soon in the game." He sighed and turned around, falling to the cold floor, and leaning against the couch head. "The board's unstable enough as it."

Izuru sighed just laying to the couch drawing his arm over his eyes. "Tell me what I have to do? Whatever it is. As long as we all can make it out of here with a few scares and alive. I will do it."
He lifted up and looked at Gin. "And no hiding shit from me!" Izuru growled. "One lie! And I will bite the hand that feeds its Pet."

"Bite me, and I'll break your wrist," Gin fired back, but the threat from before wasn't there anymore. "I'll do what I must to keep you from the worst of Aizen's sadistic games, and if that means hurting you, I will."

"I get that." Izuru said falling back to the couch draping his arms over his eyes again. "I heard enough from Kita about her fair share of the pain from you." Izuru shook his head. "I am sure she was a handful when she got back here. Yumichika trained her well with those hairpins and with her hands and legs."
Izuru laughed. "Watch out for those legs. They will put you in a world of hurt if she kicks you."

"She never truly fought me..." Gin murmured in the same low tone. He narrowed his eyes at the door, making sure it was locked then rose slowly to his feet. He put a hand to his throat then lowered it.
"Right now, try to get Kita to trust you," he stated. The fox chuckled shortly. "It shouldn't be hard. She's the same girl but without her memories."
He turned around and started to walk away, continuing to talk as he went. "Keep your ears open, listen to what I choose to tell you, and figure out how you are going to play 'pet' well enough to fool most." Gin halted at his door. "The only way to survive this game relatively unscathed is to be patient and decide what you're willing to sacrifice. It's your only choice now that you've been pulled into this. Good night, kid."

Izuru nodded. "I will remember that and I will try again with Kita in the morning. I am sure my stupid ass threw a scare into her."
"It take more that to scare her, Kid." Gin told him opening his bedroom door.
"Night, Master." Izuru said sarcastically chuckling shortly after.
Gin only shook his head as the door to his room closed. Izuru closed his eyes and let his mind drift.

She sat on the bed's edge. She was so deep into thought she did not even hear the commotion in the other room. She looked at the hairpins then slowly up and around the room. The window had been fixed and that infernal green rose was finally gone. But why? Why did she hate that rose? Why did she leave her Masters side? Why did she run into the dangers of Hueco Mundo? She was helpless out there. She did not know how to fight. She did not have the hairpins. But when she returned--Kita looked down at the hairpins clutched in her hands. "I had all this knowledge. How?" She withdrew one of the hairpins from its sheath and held it up. The blade shimmered with swirls of blood red, tracing the blade. It was beautiful it was like someone oiled the blade with blood. The blade sleek and long, it looked like it could do little damage, but all she had to do was speak one word and the blade turned lethal.Where did it come from and why were they given to her? She didn't remember, but she knew they were important to her and given to her to protect herself if needed. But again. Why? She had her Master for that and now Vacanze. Why these? Her eyes never left the blade as she sat their in thought getting lost in the beauty of the craftsmanship of the entire hairpin."I must be very special to someone out there," she sighed. "And I don't even know who they are." Kita spoke softly in the silence of the room.~END RP~ "Obedient, Disobedients"

"Alpha Games":Gin opened the door again for Kita at his room and then followed her. He closed the door, careful to keep it unlocked this time, then moved over to her. He embraced her from behind and kissed the back of her neck. "Good job, dearie. You're doing fine," he whispered.
He let himself hold her for a moment longer then walked over to his console, turning it on and inspecting the graphs that emerged. Chuckling, he leaned back in his chair and inspected the damage caused by the attack.
