Kita sighed resting her forehead to Gin's chest. "Why does this man have to be so difficult? ...Oh..." Kita looked up at Gin. "Kisuke told me to kick you. I guess what he meant was, 'hello'?" She giggled softly and shook her head.
"When I was leaving he told me go before he changed his mind and keep me there."

Gin chuckled. "I am sure." A little beep emitted from his sensor, and his eyes narrowed. "Prepare yourself, dearie." Kita nodded and Gin stepped away from her, setting a hand on her shoulder.

Aizen had covered the palace from top to bottom. He had all of his espada looking for Kita and when the final report came back empty he went to see Ichimaru once more. He had to be behind this. Kita could not have just disappeared like this without his help. Opening the door slowly into Ichimaru's room Aizen's eyes narrowed when he saw Kita standing with Ichimaru in front of his console. His eyes narrowed more as he walked toward them both. Ichimaru opened his mouth to speak but Aizen quieted him quickly with a raised hand his direction.
Aizen's eyes fixed only on Kita as he moved toward her. "Where have you been, Kita?"
Her head quickly dropped taking eyes contact from him. He stopped in front of her, grasping her chin tightly, lifting her head to look him in the eyes once more. "I don't like repeating myself. So you had better answer quickly."

Kita winced when he grabbed her jaw lifting her head. She looked into his eyes. "I... I left..."
Aizen's grip tightened on her jaw. "I know you left, but to where did you go?"
Kita whined, "The Forest of Menos..." she closed her eyes. "I am sorry Master Aizen. I panicked after I attacked Grimmjow... I was able to open a small gate, but it only took me to the Forest of Menos."

He released her quickly backhanding her, knocking her to the floor making Kita cry out. He kneeled over her grabbing her jaw again making her look at him. "The Forest of Menos? You're lying. I would have known if you were there. I had espada and fraccion alike out looking for you. They would have found you."
His grip tightened more making her cry out again. "The truth or I break your jaw. Then you won't be able to tell anyone the truth."

Gin winced inwardly as Aizen attacked Kita for her first lie. A drop of moisture slid down his neck as he hoped the next constructed one pleased him. He stepped forward, bringing his former master's attention to himself.
"Wouldn't you like to see what she learned instead of where she went, Aizen-san?" he suggested with a nonchalant tone from behind Kita. He waved a hand. "She came back, didn't she? Isn't that what matters?"

Aizen looked from Kita to Ichimaru his eyes still narrowed. "I have an odd feeling you had something to do with her disappearing, Ichimaru."
"NO!" Kita intervened, getting quickly to her feet and placing herself between him and her master. "He had nothing to do with this!" She bellowed at him.
Aizen went to grab Kita again only to punch his hand into an invisible force between him and the woman standing in front of him. Aizen smirked looking at her. "Where did the gate take you, Kita?"

"Does it matter, Sousuke? Like Ichimaru said she came back and she came back stronger."
Aizen punched the shield, it did not fluctuate an ounce in power.
"Would you like to try again?" Sumi taunted appearing behind Aizen.
He turned looking at her. Her hands folded in front of her a mincing smile across her lips. "Do you want her stronger or do you just want to torment her with your threats and tear her down by doing harm to Ichimaru?" She stepped around Aizen. "Which, by the way--does nothing but set her back. With every attempt you make to make her behave. You only set her back." She turned once she was behind him. "Now. We can keep playing this game the way you and your daughter wants to or I can step in and make things so much more difficult for you. Your call."

Gin chuckled. “It looks like you are now talking to the Goddess you’ve wanted to appear before you, Aizen.” He waved his hand. “And her words make a lot of sense. Kita did come back stronger, and my pet can show you, if you give her the chance.” He smirked and continued. “The truth is you’re one step closer to your ultimate goal. Why ruin the pleasure of that thought by looking too closely?” he purred, eyes hidden by his silver hair.

Sumi looked at Aizen as he turned to Ichimaru as he spoke to his former master. "I am willing to lend Kita my powers to give you your goal. However, I do grow tired of having to build her back up after you tear her down."
She stepped closer to Aizen and smirked her voice low for only him to hear her. "Two can play this game of yours and I promise you, Sousuke. You won't win with me."

Aizen growled reaching out to grab the Goddess as his hand only phased through her. His hands clenched, his eyes narrowed as he looked past her to the two behind her. "I have the aeronite crystal." Aizen threatened.
"Yes, you do. However, you have to remove it at some point or Kita cannot use my powers and the longer you leave it on her the closer to death you bring us both until we are gone." Sumi's smirk grew wider her voice taunting. "Where does that leave your goal then?"
Aizen's eyes narrowed more as he looked back to the Goddess growling under his breath. He turned and walked back toward the door. "You have three months Goddess." He turned at the door resting his hand to the handle. "And you have two weeks left of this month." His smirk evil as it spread across his lips. "Two months and two weeks or things will begin to happen none of you will be pleased with."
He opened the door and exited closing the door behind him.

Kita dropped the shield, dropping to her knees her head hung.
"Two months," her tone hopeless as she drew her hands to her face.
"I can't do it in two months. I can't control time in three realms in two months. I can't."
Sumi walked over to her and rested her hand to her shoulder. "Yes you can. After what Kisuke taught you. You can. If you can do one you can do all three at the same time. You could do it now if I would allow you."

Gin checked his door, making sure it locked, before kneeling at her opposite side. "I will handle it if you can't, dearie," he murmured. She looked up, tears pooling in her eyes and shaking her head, and he cupped her cheek. "You can heal me afterwards, right?" She nodded slowly, and he grinned with a shrug of his shoulders. "Then it's just pain. If you need more time, I will buy it for you."
Sumi frowned at him. "I said she could do it."
"And you may be right," Gin stated, turning to her, "but then again, would she be ready for it?" He squeezed Kita's shoulder. "If she needs more time to balance herself with those powers, I will give it to her."

Kita leaned into Gin with a sigh. "But I don't want you hurt. You have suffered enough because of me."
Sumi looked to Gin as he stroked Kita's hair. "The aeronite will not affect me any longer. Kisuke has made sure of it with the serum he injected Kita with this morning." Gin looked up at her with doubting eyes.
"And it does work. Kisuke had a piece of the aeronite in his pocket while he trained Kita. It affected me not." Sumi informed him.

"That's good to know," Gin murmured, looking down at Kita again. He kissed her head. "I can take a lot of pain, dearie, and with the healing, it won't even phase me for long. Let me do this if we need to."
"It will hurt Kita to see that happen to you," Sumi pointed out.
The fox grinned fiendishly. "Whoever said anything about her seeing it happen?"
Kita's head snapped up. "What do you mean?"
"I will return after the fact. She will see the aftermath. That is all."
Sumi's frown deepened. "What makes you think Aizen won't subject her to it?"
Gin chuckled darkly. "Because I know Aizen better than anyone living, and that includes his daughter." He lifted from the ground, holding Kita in his arms. He turned towards her bedroom.
And I have a deal for him that will be impossible to resist.
