Feeling light – in spite of the illusion over Kita – Yumiko smiled in turn. “I’m really glad to see you better, Inoue, and able to leave your room. Kita was just making breakfast,” she said. “Will you join us?”

Inoue smiled and scampered over to Yumiko, giving her a hug. She grew silent at the mention of Vale. "No. Not really. He's become gentler and better at placing my bruises." She wrapped her arms around her sides. "I don't want to talk about him, right now." She looked to Yumiko and Kita. "How are the two of you doing?"

"I have been doing well for the last month." Kita smiled at her as she stood next to them. "Aizen has done a real turnaround since the Snake has gone. I am starting to think a lot of his anger stemmed from that man."
She a warm smile crossed her lips. "Are you going hungry, Hime? Like Yumiko said I was about to fix breakfast."

Inoue nodded with a huge smile. "I would." She looked to Yumiko, who wore a slight frown. "What's wrong, Yumiko? Isn't it a good thing that Aizen has become a nicer person? It must be some nice bug going around Las Noches. Everyone is becoming nicer." She poked Yumiko in the cheek. "Smile."

Yumiko chuckled and smiled as ordered. “If it is the real thing,” she murmured, “then yes, it is a good thing.” She hugged Orihime again while Kita returned to the kitchen to finish her omelet cooking. “I’m glad to hear you both are doing better than before,” she continued. “Maybe we can get together like this more often."

"Vale said that I could leave our...His room whenever I want to, now." Inoue smiled again. She felt so much lighter now, than she had since she arrived in Las Noches. Vale had agreed to give her more freedom. But, only after he had trained her in swordsmanship and she worked on her offensive attacks. She remembered the day she took out his eye, and smiled. "I would love to do this more often. But -"

Yumiko's shoulders stiffened at the voice behind the door. She looked down into her lap as Orihime rose to open the door.

Kita exited the kitchen and caught Orihime before she got to the door. She hit the button on the wall as the door clicked to unlock. Kita reached for the handle as Vale had already opened it and started to enter the room.
Kita sighed shaking her head. "Still a rude bastard I see." Kita mumbled under her breath as she closed the door behind Vale. When Vale turned to look at her Kita gave him a smile. "Hungry?"

Vale quickly grabbed Kita by the neck and lifted her from the floor. He grinned, licking his lips as he pulled her closer to him. "Hello, love." He passed a quick glance at Yumiko. "Ah. Yumiko. How are you, dear?" He dropped Kita where he stood and walked over to Yumiko, ignoring Orihime as he walked by her.

Yumiko looked up. “I was about to have breakfast with friends, so I am doing well, Tervaden,” she replied, voice carefully neutral. She rose and looked over at Kita. “I’ll get the dishes for us.” She turned her back on Vale and headed towards the kitchen, grateful for the pressure of her zanpakuto on her hip.

Vale grinned as he took Yumiko's seat. "The three most important women in all of Las Noches. And, not one of them like me." He smiled beckoning Orihime to his lap. "How can I change that?" He looked to Yumiko. "How can I get you to like me, Yumi?"

Kita followed Yumiko to the kitchen brushing past the ones on the couch. "Stop being a dick comes to mind." Kita spoke softly letting her hand drop from her neck.

"Exactly. stop grabbing necks and start being nicer to Orihime," Yumiko stated, returning with her arms full of the plates and silverware. She set them down on the table and turned around again. "And don't call me Yumi. My name is Yumiko."

Vale laughed. "That's against my nature, Kita dear. I'm not a complicated man, ladies." He looked at Yumiko and winked. "I do like my women with a bit of bite, Yumi." He pushed Orihime from his lap and walked over to Yumiko. She tensed immediately, her hand falling on the hilt of her blade. He grabbed her wrist. "I still owe you for your goodbye in Aizen's chambers. So, do play nice. I promise to be gentle if you do."
