Aizen only laughed as the Snake swung on him each hit harder and more determined than the last. A few more hits and Aizen thrust both hands upward into Gin's chest. He tumbled off him, rolling a few feet from his former master, laying face down on the floor as Aizen got to his feet drawing Kyoka Suigetsu.
Slowly he walked toward the Snake, Aizen's eyes black, but a prominent smirk fixed across his lips. Kyoka Suigetsu took a hard swing to Gin's left, shaving the cloth from his kimono sleeve. Hearing the women gasp, Aizen's smirk grew as Gin quickly rolled to his back and went to get up, Aizen's foot going to the center of his chest pushing him back down.
In a flash, Aizen's sword lifted, the blade plummeting toward the Snake's heart.
"NOOO!!"
A scream from behind Aizen echoed through the room.
"RANGIKU!! STOP!!"
Aizen whirled, Kyoka Suigetsu drawn back ready to be thrust forward. Kita grabbed Rangiku's wrist, pulling her back as the blade of Aizen's sword pierced through her chest. Rangiku, frozen, dropped to her knees as Kita quickly looked at Aizen.
"BASTARD!!" Kita screamed at him.
In that instant, Kyoka Suigetsu pierced Kita through the side, penetrating both lungs. Aizen watched as Kita drew her hand to her mouth, blood trickling from under it as she to fell to her knees, then over to her side.
Aizen turned, lifting his foot from the stunned and frozen Snake. Cleaning the blood from his blade on the man's kimono, Aizen chuckled softly.
"You can only save one. Which one will it be, Ichimaru?" Aizen turned, stepping over Kita's body, leaving the still frozen Gin on the floor with his two beloved women.

His reiatsu a mere whisper of what it had been as he had pounded his master, blue eyes wide, Gin watched .... as Rangiku choked on her own blood, her face bloodless in a twisted paradigm of that site so many years ago ..... and as Kita convulsed, her hand spasming, reaching out, reaching out as if to escape a horrendous nightmare. Neither of their eyes were shining with defiance, with life. Gin’s hands clenched. Two drops of blood slipped down to the ground, and he retrieved his zanpakuto. Standing in one slow movement, his head down and arms at his sides, he walked to over to his master.
“Kita,” he uttered, tone dead. “I chose Kita.”
He lifted his head, eyes piercing crystalline shards. “Finish your game, so I can get back to doing what was more important.”
His reiatsu flickered around him like smoke caught in a terrible current, a glimpse of maelstrom building within. Slowly. Surely. Gin's form stood waiting.
Aizen turned, looking at Gin. "And what might that be, Ichimaru?"
A hint of a smirk appeared over his lips. "Sparring, I think~" he murmured.
Cocking his head, Aizen looked on at him. "Hm?" He looked to the women on the floor. "So you made your choice and you are sure it is Kita you want to save?"
Gin's grip tightened around Shinsou. "Do you have time to be questioning me?" he asked, tone casual.

Aizen said nothing as he brushed past Gin over to Rangiku. Drawing his blade he lifted it slightly. Then dropping it, her head rolling away from her body. "One down."
He then walked over to Kita knelling down, he let his hands hover over her wound, healing her from the inside out. When Kita took a deep breath, her back arching and eyes opening wide; Aizen stopped the healing. However, the outside wound was not completely healed. Still bleeding he scooped her up in his arms, stood and walked over to Gin.
"This is no longer a game between us, Ichimaru. You will do as you're told. You will bow to me and if you do not. I will pluck off, each, and every person you love. And if you still refuse after they are all dead. I will end it all with your life."
He dumped Kita into his arms. "Finish what I have started." He turned from Gin and stepped toward the mending wall.

Gin didn’t respond, only looked to Kita, watching her healing powers flow from from her hands into her body. He laid her out on the empty table.
“Tell me, Aizen-san, have you heard this saying?” Aizen paused. Gin turned…
And shunpo’ed towards Aizen, Shinsou plunging into his opposite shoulder. He didn’t flinch as Kyokya ripped into his side, only grinned a macabre smile of days long past. “Shed a snake’s skin and it’s much quicker than before,” he commented, throwing his master backwards, pushing him through the opening the Wolf had made and tossing him out onto the dunes. "Skinning a Snake": (continued)
Once again, Gin set Kita down on the table, his eyes meeting hers for a moment in a plea to stay where she was. She nodded… but Gin pulled away before she could reach out to him.
Straightening, he walked over to the body still laying on the floor, from which its bright essence was slowly starting to fade away. He kneeled down, no longer smiling, by the seeping head. Silver bangs falling over his eyes, his hand reached out, first to gently slide the dull blue grey eyes closed, and then trailed down, running through the dimming golden hair.
“It’s no longer like the sun that could never reach me,” Gin muttered, half to himself, half to the spirit — if she still was there. “No longer dazzling, brilliant, hypnotizing. Now… now, it’s been trampled and dirtied… again.” He fell silent, controlling his voice. For a moment, it seemed he would cry.
But he didn’t.
After a long, slow breath, he rose again, tugging off his kimono with the hand not holding Shinsou. “Good night, Ran. Ya shoulda stayed by your tiny captain… and forgotten all about lil’ ol’ me. After all, I … I am nothin’ bit bad news.”
His hand pulled his cloth off and covered her curled form. The legs poked out.
“Sorry I couldn’t keep one tiny promise to ya.”
He looked to Kita, watching the tears glisten down her cheeks.
“But then again, I cint keep any now, cin I?”
He sheathed Shinsou and paused. “Only one.”
Ducking his head, he walked over to Kita and lifted her form into his arms. “Sorry,” he whispered.
Sorry for lyin’ to so many people.
As they walked out, Kita tried to wrap her arms around him, but Gin's body was stiff in her arms, tight with what he would not express aloud. Kita's arms wrapped around his midsection, crying into his bleeding torso, shedding salty tears for him. Her lover so torn up. - END RP -

"Sayonara... Rangiku":Vale leaned against the wall, just outside the doors of the Torture Chamber. His grey eyes traced the lines along the marble floor. Drawing Chinmoku slowly and quietly, Vale unleash its power. Not a raging force of destruction, but a swirling calm, Chinmoku made it way over to the covered form of Rangiku. Chinmoku slowly ate away at the despair lingering in the room, until nothing remained of her but the silver chain that had been looped around her neck. The black mass hovered over the blood stain on the floor, whispering as if it mourned for her. Vale stepped into the room, sighing as he reformed Chinmoku. He knelt beside the stain, Vale picked up the chain. The wet metal staining his hand as he wrapped his fingers around it. Vale shook his head. Hands falling to his side as he stood, Vale whispered to himself before leaving the room. Even I am sorry...- END RP -
