"I can't control it," Shinji growled. "They're mad and breaking anything to get here. It's like trying to stop a hoard of ants after you step on their home. It's madness and impossible," he hissed. "Let's get out of here. I tried to get ahead of them when I realized how badly things were spreading. Fortunately, they won't touch us."

As Kita was being quickly carried out of the room she reached back toward the room and screamed for Gin again and again. "MASTER GIN! HELP ME! MASTER GIN! YOU SAID YOU WOULD PROTECT ME! MASSSSTTTER~!"
The tall blonde that had ahold of her told her to stop as Kita hit him as hard as she could. He shook his head narrowing his eyes at her as he looked into her eyes. His hand then slowly past over her face and she heard him whisper one word.
"Inemuri..."
Everything went black but not before one more soft cry went out to her Master.

Shinji led them through the madness of the fifth tower just before a wave malicious reiatsu ripped through the hollows around them. He snickered. "The king's pissed," he commented as they entered a deserted hallway.

The group stopped for only a second as Kisuke adjusted Kita in his arms tossing her over his shoulder. "Sorry sweety, but I had to do something to get you to calm down." Kisuke patted her bottom as he looked at Shinji, Hisagi and Izuru. "I hope Yoruichi got Tsukiro and had less trouble than we did. Come on we got fifteen minutes and Juushiro and Tessai are opening the gate again."
They nodded and took off as Kisuke lagged behind. He turned looking back down the hall. "I am sorry Yumiko." He sighed lowering his eyes to the floor. "Sorry old friends." He then vanished.

"You had to have known we couldn't have brought them all with the walls crawling like this," Yoruichi commented with her own burden over her shoulders. "Your old partner is crazy, and Shinji, are you limping?"
"Not yet," he hissed, as his mask broke, "but whatever's going to hit me is going to cripple me as soon as we get back. Damn freak!"

Izuru looked back into the palace and sighed then looked to Kita petting her hair. "She is not going to be easy to control. She has no memories of any of us. Not even Tsukiro."
Izuru heard Kisuke growl and watched his hand tighten around Benihime's hilt.
"I will kill that bastard yet."

Hearing Kisuke give the order to move out Aizen stepped from the shadows. "I hope that is a promise, Shopkeeper?"
Before Kisuke could move with the others to leave Aizen had his blade at Kisuke's throat.
"GO! Kisuke yelled at them. "Don't risk the others!" The others started running off looking back as they went. "GO! GET OUT OF HERE!"
Aizen chuckled, "Taking lessons from Juushiro I see. So noble of you, Kisuke." Aizen nicked his neck.

Suddenly a sword stabbed Aizen in the side, missing Kisuke by an inch. Kisuke broke Aizen's hold and Gin withdrew Shinsou from his master's side. "That was for Rangiku, Aizen-san~" he hissed.
"Bankai! Buto Renjin!"
Shinsou stabbed Aizen another dozen times and then Gin followed the others through the gate.

Aizen fell to his knees growling as he coughed, blood spilling to the ground. "I will have the Seraph," he growled as he watched them disappear into the gate, "and your head Ichimaru." Aizen eyes burned with the fury of the flames from Hell itself. |
