Gin blinked, also taken aback. Not so much by the sex and even Soiro having kids but him being alive to see his line father children of their own. He smiled at his wife. “It’s all thanks to you that he will live long enough to get over that cluelessness.” His smiled morphed into a devious grin. “That is, if Kisuke or Kisuke Junior doesn’t enlighten him~”
"I will beat them both and remove their privates." Kita growled looking back at Kisuke.
Kisuke's hands went up in his defense. "I ain't saying nothing. I like my family jewels right were they are." His hand slid up under his hat as he scratched his head. "Though I can't speak for her brother."
Gin snickered. "Poor Soji. He doesn't know what he's missing~"
"Don't you start!" Kita warned.
"Or what, dearie~? Gin quipped. He let Kadaj take one of his fingers. "Would you really punish me after all the time we've been apart?"

Kita looked up at Gin with mischievous eyes and grinned as they stood at the door waiting for Vale and Yumiko to walk in the door. Gin frowned and looked at little Kadaj.
"Your mommy is a meanie you know that?" Kadaj frowned at what Gin said and pouted slightly.
"Aww, don't listen to that nutty Snake. Your mommy is not a meanie." Kita told him bouncing him softly in her arm. She slapped Gin playfully as she giggled softly shaking her head. "If he starts crying you're the one calming him for telling him stories like that."

Vale followed up to the door. He stopped in front of Kita, smiling at their child as he took ahold of one of his fingers. Kadaj yawned.
"Quite a busy day for a newborn. Though, I have to admit, he is rather alert for a baby only a couple of days old."
Kadaj's bright lavender eyes stared up at his father, as Vale rubbed the back of little hand. "I think it's time to lie this little one down." Kita agreed with a nod.

Yumiko smiled. “I’m sure he wanted to stay awake to feel the love around him.” Her smile grew as little Kadaj smiled sleepily as Vale tried to free his finger. “Sleep or no sleep, he's more than happy to command his father's attention, too."
"Yes, well...Even if you are cute and demanding , you need rest. So, close your eyes, little one." Vale leaned down and kissed the top of Kadaj's head. "I'll be here when you wake."
Yumiko laughed softly. "Should I do that to you too, since you're acting cute and I know you're demanding?" she inquired, feigning innocence.

Vale chuckled as he looked to Yumiko. "I'm neither cute or demanding. But, I am tired." He then, turned to Kita with a smile. "Wake me when dinner is done."
Keeping one hand on the kimono keeping her semi-decent, Yumiko leaned up and kissed Vale's cheek, caressing it afterwards. "You have your moments when you are."
Kita nodded at Vale and turned away from the couple. She looked down at Kadaj as he yawned again. "Lets go lay you down and get your Aunt Yumiko something to wear so your big brothers daddy can have his clothing back."
Vale narrowed his eyes, wrapping an arm around Kita's waist and pulled her close. "Mind your words love." he whispered. "Yumiko may not get it, but Gin will."

Kita looked at Vale confused and recalled her words. A soft sigh escaped her as she lowered her head looking down at Kadaj. "I am sorry." She whispered in return. She patted his chest with her free hand.
"Go rest. I will get dinner done and call you when it is finished." She pulled away from Vale's embrace and started toward the room again. "Sojiro, do you want to see what there is for dinner?" She continued her path as she then called to Yumiko.
"Come with me Yumiko. I am sure I have something you will like."

Yumiko looked after Vale as headed in the opposite direction as the rest, feeling a twinge inside her chest, and then turned to her best friend. “Thanks, Kita. I didn’t expect to be interrupted while changing.” She looked to Sojiro. “Sorry for the surprise, Soji.” “I saw nothing!” the teenager called back, hurrying inside. “And I’ll make dinner.”
Gin chuckled. “Someone better follow him and keep him from burning something.” As Kita passed, he pressed a promise kiss to her palm. “I won’t be far.” He headed into the house after his son.
Yumiko followed after Kita, watching her hum to little Kadaj. Her eyes lowered, hoping that the temporary peace would last. And that Vale’s happiness wouldn’t seem so fleeting. “How long can we stay here?” she asked. Moved |
