Juushiro grabbed Vacanze's shoulder to stop the former espada. "Now is not the time to attack," he stated quietly. "Sousuke just got Azayaka back. His duaghter. He's going to be impossible to get by for a while. Anyone who goes there is more likely to get killed."

"You're not going anywhere." Kisuke told them grabbing Vacanze from Juushiro. He tossed both the boys into a cell and slammed the door closed. He rested against the bars with his arms crossed. "Now." He looked to Ichigo. "How do you know what he told you was truth?"
He tilted his head, "he could have told you this to get a rise out of you so you would go rushing in there. And Kita is not there anyway. Ichimaru has her."

"That's just as bad in my book," the Substitute grumbled, folding his arms. "You know, if I wanted to, I could definitely make you work at keeping me here."
Kisuke grinned. "Don't try and change the subject, boy."
Ichigo sighed and rubbed at his orange head. "I don't know, Kisuke. He didn't tell me in a goading way. It was matter-of-fact and something he had to get done with. Until I gaped about it." He looked up again. "It didn't sound like a joke. And is she really any safer with the snake? We never know what side he is on."

Vacanze rapped on the cell bars with his knuckles, contemplating slicing them up with his sword. He sighed, deciding against it and turned around, leaning on them. "Ichimaru is a tricky one. In any case, right now, yes, Kita is safer with him than Aizen. Ichimaru may follow his own agenda, but from what I've seen, there's no way he'd hurt her or let Aizen take her back. He'll go out fighting for her. I don't completely understand him myself, but... right now trusting him is our only option it seems."

Ichigo raised his eyebrow. "Really?" he said, adjusting the ripped sleeve of shihakusho with his opposite hand. Giving up, he ripped it off. "And when he finds out that she's carrying Aizen's kid? You still think we can trust him?" he asked, voice dubious.

Kisuke looked at his nails. "Do you really think Kita--" Kisuke stopped mid sentence remembering Kita's attitude toward Gin. "Forget I said that." He lifted from the bars and looked at the two boys.
"We move when I say we move. Got that?"

Vacanze shrugged, tilting his head. "You're calling the shots. What am I going to do? One former espada against the rest of Aizen's army? I'd be dead the moment I set foot there. And if not, Aizen would have me captured so he could torture me for the next couple of centuries. Despite what Azayaka believes right now, he does care for her. In fact, I would go as far as to say he loves her like any father would love their daughter. He's sworn to kill me if I hurt her multiple times. There are days when I considered the possibility that she may be more important to her than the goddess Kita harbors."

Kisuke reached through the bars and cuffed Vacanze in the back of the head. "Why do you think I had you grab her for us, you idiot?" Vacanze turned looking at him with narrowed eyes. "Drop the badass look. It will get you nowhere with me, Red."
Kisuke stepped away from the bars and looked at them both. "Right now Aizen has his daughter back. Kita is with Ichimaru and we don't know a statute on Inoue. Until we know more. We don't move until I say so. Got it?"
He placed his hand to the door of the cell looking between them both waiting for their replies before he opened the door.

Ichigo sighed. He hated it when his stupid teacher was right. "Fine," he murmured. When Kisuke raised his other eyebrow at him, he threw his arms up. "Okay, okay, I'll stay. I'll wait." He looked at his zanpakuto and called it back. "I have a family to watch over anyways. And Karin's already attracted them once." His eyes narrowed as he glanced back at his teacher. "But we need to move soon Kisuke."

Kisuke nodded and opened the cell door. "Lets get something to eat and talk about our options and what we do know." Both the boys walked out past him then stopped at the door to exit. "What?" Kisuke asked them as they looked back at him.
"This is bullshit. You know this right?" Vacanze growled.
Kisuke sighed adjusting his hat. "The biggest pile you could ever imagine, Red." Kisuke walked past him patting him on the shoulder. "Try putting up with it for a few centuries."
He scooted out of the room a heavy sigh following him.

Juushiro followed last, pausing to look at the room they had held Azayaka. Had he reached her at all? "Now I have to repair my house. Again," Kisuke muttered, waiting at the exit for him. The captain chuckled and walked over to his old friend, smile growing as he set a hand on his shoulder, giving him a knowing look. "I should get compensation for all the damage my property takes." "For that, Boss," Tessai called out, "you would have to be a part of the Soul Society." Kisuke shuddered theatrically. "And lose the freedom to sell whatever I want here?" He winked. "Gods forbid!" "Do I even want to know?" Ichigo called out from ahead of them. "I doubt it," Vacanze murmured. "He's tricky, your shopkeeper." Juushiro laughed lightly before succumbing to a hoarse cough. Kisuke and Tessai helped him sit down and thankfully after a few breaths, it subsided. He looked up. "It's nothing to worry about. I am just tired, I think," he told his sharp-eyed friend. He turned to Vacanze and Ichigo. "Kurosaki-san, Vacanze-san, don't look so glum. You have one of the best opponents against all the complications of the world right here." Kisuke adjusted his hat. "Well... Not all~" he smirked. Juushiro laughed again. |

"Caging the Captain":Once back at Urahara Shop, Kisuke had Sajin take Toshiro to the sealed and bonded cells they were holding Azayaka in months before. Sajin carried him in and laid his struggling form on the cot and stepped out as Kisuke closed and locked the door behind Sajin. He then turned and looked at the Captain. "Glad you stopped by big guy. I don't know how I would have got him back here."

Sajin nodded. "I am glad I could help." He looked to bound Captain. "This concerns me, Urahara. This isn't like the Captain at all." He sniffed the air, letting out a low growl as he kept his eyes on the Captain. "You said you knew what was wrong with him. Care to elaborate, for this old wolf?"

Kisuke sighed covering his eyes with his hat. "An experiment gone wrong. I thought we cured him of it, but I guess we over looked something." He looked to the still struggling Toshiro on the cot.
He looked up at the towering man beside him and patted his hulking arm. "Don't worry, Big guy. I will cure him this time around. Oh? Could you let Kyoraku know I have him. If he wants more information on the situation he is free to stop by or give me a call."
