But before Ichigo could even turn to exit the room Kisuke walked in behind him as he turned. He adjusted his hat and smiled at the startled Ichigo. "Well I see you're finally up." Kisuke said looking at Ichigo but speaking to Toshiro.
He then turned his look to the captain, "sleep well?"

"In truth I don't know. All I remember is coming here with Rangiku, then everything went black. After that there was a flash of bright white, then back to black. Hence the eyes Kurosaki." He carefully got up and felt his way over to the bars, "Were we attacked? Why am I in this cell? What shock did Kita have? Is she ok?"

Kisuke sighed walking over to the cell and and looked at Toshiro. "So you don't remember the hell butterfly from Kyoraku about Kita's parents being beheaded the night before last? You don't remember coming here with Rangiku and you don't remember the attack on Kita? All happening yesterday."
Kisuke placed his hand on Toshiro's head as a healing Kido flowed through him to to fix the captain's eyes.

"Someone killed Kita's parents, and attacked her?!? Who was it?!? I'LL KILL THEM!!!!" he exclaimed as Urahara began easing the pain in his eyes. "Is that why I'm locked in here? Do you not want me going after them?!"

Ichigo shook his head. The little captain really didn't remember anything from last night. He set a hand on Kisuke's shoulder, getting his attention. "I'll tell Kita so she is no longer worrying over this as well as her parents." Kisuke nodded and the substitute left the room. Vacanze entered the room in his stead.

Kisuke chuckled taking his hand from Toshiro's head and walked to the cell door. "You ask too many questions," he rested his hand to the door and looked at him. "Are you going to be good if I let you out? No running off to kick anyone's ass?"
Toshiro was rubbing his eyes as Kisuke looked at him. When the captain finished he looked at Kisuke.

"When don't he have a plan of action, Captain?" Vacanze laughed slightly. Kisuke smiled unlocking the cell door, letting Toshiro out. "Behave or you will find your icy ass back in this cell," he plopped his hand down on top of Toshiro's head as he walked out. "Are we at an understanding, Captain Hitsugaya?" Toshiro looked up at Kisuke with narrowed eyes. Kisuke smiled with a soft chuckle. "I will let you in on everything that went on and who was responsible for what," he released Toshiro and walked toward the door sliding his hands into his pockets, "but first I have a young lady I have to help out with setting things up for her parents funeral. So it will be much later." The boy nodded at him as Kisuke walked toward the door, as he reached for the handle Tessai walked in and announced they have a visitor. Kisuke nodded and the four of them exited the room. Moved |

"Surprise Drop Off: Part III": (continued)Shoving Vale into the cell Kisuke slammed and locked the cell door behind him. His eyes still narrowed as he glowered at the man now behind them. “Nice trick you had Szayel fix up for you Tervaden, but I am not letting you out of sight or letting you run free.” He turned and walked toward the door of the room. “And when Juushiro, Kyoraku and Central find out I have you--” he turned at the door and looked at Vale, a sly grin across his lips. “You’re as good as dead.” Kisuke stepped from the room closing and sealing the room once more. No one but him and Tessai could enter and no one other then them were allowed.

Vale shook the bars of cell, screaming to the top of his lungs. "Let me out! Please, let me get out!" He backed himself against the back wall of the cell and sunk to the floor. "Please...let me out." His voice cracked under the weight of his current position. "If someone just...just... Please, let me out..."
Wrapping his his arms around himself, Vale leaned over and expelled the contents of his stomach. With his head resting against the wall, he called out to the man that put him in the cell. "Let me out...please."

Hearing Vale hurl his breakfast, Kisuke sighed and turned around, walking back in the cell room. He looked at the man huddled in the corner his arms wrapped around himself. Shaking his head he turned back around and exited the room. It was moments later Kisuke reappeared.
Unlocking the cell door, Kisuke walked in grabbing Vale by the shoulder of his jacket and lifted him to his feet. He tugged Vale over to a new clean cell. Opening the door, Kisuke shoved him in, closing and locking the cell door behind him.
He then went back to the solid cell, "try not to dirty the new one. Or you'll live with it."

Vale looked to the man as he cleaned the cell. "Tell me why I am here. And, where here is, exactly." He pressed his face against the bars of his new cell. "Please...I don't know what I did to you. But, whatever it was...I'm sure it wasn't so bad you had to put me in this cell. Like the lady said, there is no evil in me." Vale forced a smile, causing the dried blood on his face to crack.
"Listen...I don't know you. But, you seem to know me." Vale closed his eyes. "But, when that lady sat on me, I woke in a place I've never been to, being called fuck buddy by a woman I've never met. Then, you come along and punch me in the face and slam me against a wall a few times. And, to top it all off, you shoved me in a cell." He shook his head against the bars and sighed heavily. "Please let me go. Please..."

Kisuke paid no mind to Vale as he blubbered and whined from behind his bars. He was afraid if he did, even with Vale being human, the side of him he has kept so long contained would burst and that rage and anger would be used on the sniveling man behind him.
What happen to him? Did Vale finally snap under the weight of his sins? Kisuke shook his head. There was no way; his reiatsu was diminished to almost nothing compared to what it was. Not to mention he was human. A feat not even he could perform. Not without some gizmo or mechanism and then it was only an illusion. An illusion that would soon enough turn on them, and this was a chance Kisuke could not take.
While finishing up the cleaning, Kisuke glanced over his shoulder. Vale now having his back to him sitting on the floor. Picking up the bucket, the mop in the other hand, Kisuke turned and walked from the now clean cell.
“Strip; and I mean everything. When I come back in here you better be in your birthday suit.” Kisuke left the room leaving Vale there alone once more.

Vale watched as the man left the room then slowly rose to his feet. Why did this man harbor such hatred for him? How did he end up in this strange place? Who were the people he spoke of? In an effort to avoid further anger from the man, Vale removed his clothing and stood in the corner of the cell.
"What did I do?" he whispered. He slid down to the floor, his back to the bars. His lean pale frame shaking in the cold of the room. "What did I do?"

Walking back in the room Kisuke looked at his clothes piled on the bed. “Hand them over.” He extended his hand thought the bars as Vale handed him all of his clothing, including his socks and shoes.
Once Kisuke had them he extended his other arm though the bars and handed Vale a simple white kimono, socks and underwear. Kisuke then turned and left the room again with Vale’s clothes and shoes in hand. He returned moments later as Vale was now dressed again, Kisuke now with a glass of water in hand. He then grabbed a chair next to the wall and placed it in front of the cell. before sitting down he called to Vale once more.
“Come here.” Vale walked over to the bars and looked at the man in the hat.” Give me your hands.”
When Vale extended his arms Kisuke placed the glass of water in his hand and a small pill in the other. “Take it.”
Vale looked at the pill then back to Kisuke.
“It’s not going to kill you. Now take it.” Kisuke told him, Vale did as he was told handing Kisuke back the now empty glass. “Sit,” Kisuke told Vale as he pointed downward with his index finger. Once Vale sat down on the cot, Kisuke spoke again.
“Now tell me what you know or remember of yourself.”
