The quip about his father cleared Sojiro’s head from the instructions and what had already happened between Makino and himself. He rubbed at his head. “I guess I could ask him. If it doesn’t work. But-”
“But what?” Etsuya grinned, sucking on his mint leaf. “You know, if you need practice before the actual thing, I do know a young lady…”
Sojiro blinked at him, flabbergasted. “That- that’s Cheating, Etsu!” he snapped.
Etsuya waved a hand “It’s not that bad. One, it’s only cheating if she finds out and, two,” he winked, “if you actually feel guilty. Then, you are good and caught.”
Sojiro rolled his eyes. “Etsu, I am not going to practice with another girl. And I am not going to cheat. That’s all there is to it.” He looked out over the academy.

The gargantua opened right as Grimmjow stepped through it. He had a massive grin plastered across his face as the sirens started to whirl, "Let the fucking party begin."
Grimmjow looked down seeing people starting to freak out. Some girls had noticed him and started to scream. Other students started to draw their blades. The most amusing thing he managed to see was proper members of the Gotei pop up to confront him.
All he could do was laugh. He had his target in mind and he wasn't going to be swayed by meaningless interruptions, "Worthless bitch ass Soul Reapers," He mumbled, "I'm not here for you."

At the sight of the Espada above the school, Sojiro’s eyes narrowed and he quickly drew his sword, releasing the silver mist of Mayuboshi around his friend and himself. Gathering his reiatsu in a fist of power, he hollered, “Soren Soukatsui!” A bolt of blue white lightning soared upwards towards the enemy as Sojiro turned to his friend.
“Move, Etsu!’ he snapped. “Grimmjow’s brutal and an Espada. You can’t fight him, even if he’s here for me.”
Daichi appeared on his shoulder and started chittering madly.

Etsuya drew his blade and called on its power. "I don't care! I won't abandon you just because snaggle puss is an Espada." He pointed his staff toward the Espada. "Besides, he's not going to touch you without a fight!"
"Stubborn ass!" Sojiro swung his rapier, spreading the silver mist out further. "Stay close if you're going to be that way!"
"You have this strange misconception that I need protecting." Etsuya narrows his eyes at the Espada. "You're the one he's here for. You're the one who should be running."

"I made a decision a while ago. Where coming here means I am not letting others protect me alone again." Grimmjow kicked one of the Gotei down towards the Academy and Daichi hissed from Sojiro's shoulder. Sojiro's eyes sparked violet fire before he sent another kido bolt at the enemy. "Furthermore, I'm not running into the Academy and letting him terrorize the younger students to get to me," Sojiro growled.

"You're moving your butt as you were taught," a voice called out from beside them. Kairo crossed his blade with Sojiro's. "If you stay out here, we have to worry about two fights, keeping you safe and defeating the enemy. If you're inside - where you're supposed to be - we can focus on him." He paused at the hard look in Sojiro's eyes, making a quick decision. "You both can attack him if he gets too close to the Assembly Hall, but get down there before the Commander tans our hides."

"Enough chitchat!" shouted Etsuya. "Lieutenant! Get his stubborn ass out of here!" Etsuya swung his staff at the grinning Espada, not to strike but as a warning. "Come on, you bastard!" The staff whistled, as Etsuya grinned and readied himself. He gave a quick glance to the Lieutenant. "Why are you still standing there! Get him out of here! Go!"
Etsuya watched as the Lieutenant grabbed Sojiro by the arm and began to drag him away. Turning back toward the Espada. "Let's go, puss."

Grimmjow appeared right in front of the student, raising an eyebrow at the brunette, "A student... A worthless fucking student... Is challenging me?"
He raised a hand and growled at him, hearing the whistling, presumably from the staff, "I don't have time for fucking runts like you. Your worthless powers aren't strong enough to even leave a mark on me," his twisted grin came across his face once more, "I'm here for the boy, Ichimaru."
The Espada slid his hands back into his pockets as he walked closer to the Student, the whistling getting stronger, "You are fucking stupid for challenging me." He quickly brought his leg up, going to kick Etsuya in the head.

Etsuya ducked below the Espada's leg quickly and stepped closer, the end of his bo staff coming to rest on the Espada's shoulder. "Zekkyo." he whispered. Hoissuru began to whistle at a frequency he could not hear. But, one that only the cat-like Espada before him could hear. The visible look of annoyance on the Espada's face made Etsuya grin as he shunpo'd back and away from his. "What's wrong puss? Can't take a little noise."
Moving the staff, Etsuya caused the whistling to grow louder. The Espada's face changed from one of annoyance to pain. A she started to moved it again, he heard someone yell stop and then a frightening howl.
Ryo appeared beside the boy, her hand catching the staff. "Stop it!" she looked from the student to the Espada. "What does your staff do?"
"It whistles."
Ryo glanced over her shoulder, seeing Sajin on one knee with his hands covering his ears. "Puppy..." Turning quickly, her attention fell to the Espada. "Did you get your orders confused, Grimmjow? Wouldn't it make more sense to go after the older Ichimaru, and not the boy." Ryo pushed the student away. "Go." she whispered. "Now."
"I'm going to need my staff back, Captain." said Etsuya. As he stepped toward the Captain, Etsuya felt a piercing pain in his side. He turned his head to find the Espada standing beside him, he clawed finger tips in his side.

Grimmjow withdrew his claws and shook his head before rubbing his ears, "So fucking annoying," He turned his attention to the female, "No. It would not. The older Ichimaru is a waste of my time just as you are." He growled and held his hand up, unleashing the blast of a cero.
"My goal is the bitch's child," He sonidoed away from them, aiming for the one person he was told to go after.

As Grimmjow sonido’ed towards them, Sojiro sent off another kido and this time, it hit Grimmjow between the eyes. The Espada cursed and swiped at them.
Kairo threw Sojiro off his shoulder and drew his zanpakuto. “Keep going, Soji!”
Sojiro growled but took off, gritting his teeth. At least he’d scored him for harming his friend. At least. He shook his head and shunpo’ed to the ground. He pulled a paralyzed younger girl to her feet. “Come on. It’s not safe here.”

When the kid stopped Grimmjow reached out palming his head putting a spin on him as he spun in place to face him. "You little fuck! I am tired of dealing with you and your shit." Growled grabbing the front of his uniform and hosted him off the ground.
"I don't know who is a bigger pain in my ass. You or that bitch mother of yours." Grimmjow dropped him to his feet again as he drew back a clawed hand ready to smack the hair off his head as Garguanta opened up behind the boy.

Hands latched onto the hybrid child, a cold voice echoed from a hidden place. Warm blood ran over his hands as his finger tips pierced the young boys body. "Come to me, child." Gesshin pulled the child through a voids surrounding his hands. Within moments, the child disappeared, having been pulled through the void.
"What the fuck is this?" cursed Grimmjow. He watched as the voids closed. "Eh, fuck this." he grunted, scratching the back of his head.
"What did you do to him?" grunted Etsuya, a hand at his side. "Where is Sojiro?"
"Fuck off, kid." growled Grimmjow before vanishing from the academy.

Tsukiro stood atop of a building, looking at the horror that he had just seen, "No.." His blood ran cold and his face began to pale before he shunpued to his lieutenant, "Kairo. Make sure everyone is okay. Check on the Komamura's." He then glanced at a couple of the other Gotei Soul Reapers, "Make sure all the student's are alright, and check the destruction of that Cero. Make sure everyone is alright." His mind was racing as he barked the orders. He stepped back and looked over the area, "What the hell was that though?" He remembered it clearly. The hands that had grabbed Sojiro, Grimmjow disappearing. What in the hell would Kita have to say for the soul society not even being able to protect her son. He looked over to Kairo, "Kairo! Make sure everyone is safe. I have to inform Kisuke of what happen here. He can inform Kita before she find out other ways, and heads start to roll." He grinned at his lieutenant as he turned, "You're in charge till I get back." Tsukiro quickly shunpued away after the words, leaving the wreckage of the fight behind to tell the Commander what had just happened. |
