"Deadly Dance with Shinsou":
Gin looked down from on top of a high cliff overlooking the cabin which Kita still slept. A growing part of him didn’t want to leave her side, but that was only another reason to do just that. He turned from the view. He was becoming too attached to her, just as before when Aizen had forced the pill down her throat and when he had had his way with them both. His weakness was becoming too transparent, and it was not yet time to yield. His silver hair flashed in the sunlight as the rogue soul reaper drew his zanpakuto. Far too early. I still have debts to repay, he murmured to himself. Glancing behind him one more time, he took a seat against a large boulder and set his zanpakuto across his knees, slipping into Jinzen…. Gin didn’t appear on top of a hill overlooking Rukongai as he had when showing Kita’s soul. No, this time he appeared in a thick, twilight forest, with long bamboo stalks and spindly conifers. Barely a breeze rustled through the still wood, and all color was muted, a kind of grey green foliage. Not at all surprised, Gin took ahold of a branch and cracked it.
Shinsou appeared before him in his human form, a tall man with silver hair and a fox mask with red circles around the eyeholes pulled to the side. Dressed in a gold and silver kimono with a scarlet sash, he had a mirror version of Shinsou strapped to his waist. The four tails waved behind him. The golden eyes were slanted and narrowed.
Bloodlust, joy, and wariness all chased through Gin’s mind. Shinsou only appeared like this for one reason. To do battle. And he was as merciless as his sword form.

Shinsou chuckled as he drew his sword and Gin copied him by drawing the sword at his own waist. “Sometimes,” the kitsune murmured, “I think you enjoy the confrontations with me more than you have ever enjoyed my company or support.” “Is that a bad thing?” Gin quipped easily.
Shinsou smirked. “No, not of my master,” he purred, sliding the white and red mask on his face. He then swung his sword forward.
Grinning wickedly, Gin dodged to the right, ducked another swing then swung his own sword at his familiar. The two swords clashed, tearing the scenery down. Gin shunpo’ed into the thicket, cutting away the falling debris and waiting for the kitsune to follow him. He lunged forward at a flash of golden. A moment later , Shinsou emerged behind him and swung his sword towards the reaper’s side. Gin’s blade ripped through his sleeve from a backward cut. Gin spun around, reaching for the collar of his familiar’s kimono … and held a golden leaf. Appearing out of his shadow, Shinsou slashed upwards and sliced off a few locks of his bangs. Gin arched his blade down, tearing and cutting his kimono but missing his arm…. as Shinsou became a silver beam of light and re-emerged in front of him, kimono once again pristine and landscape restored. Shinsou folded his arms. “This technique is not something you can use with everyone. In fact, with the way you are, there may be only a handful of people who can be affected by it.”
Gin set his blade back on his shoulder. “If it can help Kita, then that’s all that matters to me. Besides,” he grinned, “I have a goddess’ powers to enhance my assassination skills.”
Falling silent, Shinsou faded from view into a transparent form then multiplied himself one, two, three, four times. One for each of his tails. The only difference between each illusion were the details of the mask, crying marks below the eyes, mocking grin, chipped ear, and red marks around the eyes. Just as Gin could focus on these details, each clapped their hands and four more appeared.
All looked up at him. “Cut the true figure out of the many masks around you. That is only one way you will earn this skill.” Gin slid his sword down to his knee. “And if I fail?”
The eerie figures chuckled. “Each mistake will show on your own flesh.”
Gin snickered. “Sounds fun.” He charged into the throng.
Piece of cake…
Or so he thought in vain. Covered in a multitude of cuts, Gin plunged into the growing mass of masks as Shinsou laughed around him. His eyes narrowed. he would find the answer to this trick of his. He would. For Kita.

"Rant Against the Workings of Fate and Gods":
A shimmering gate opened in the Godly Realm, and for the first time, the bloody figure who stepped out didn’t have any commentary against the sunset scenery. Eyes blazing, flashing between sky blue and crimson, Gin set Kita down on a sunlit, downy spot on the grass. He leaned over her, brushing her damp hair out of her eyes. It was too much. His hands clenched and he stood up. Before the subtle breeze had settled, Gin whirled around. “This is all your fault!” he snapped at the hovering goddess in the shadows of sun. “This is because of your powers and your incompetence! What if she loses Sojiro?!"

Sumi said nothing as her hand flung forward slamming Gin into a nearby tree pinning him there. Slowly she descended from her location to standing in front of him as he struggled against her hold.
"My fault? How dare you." She hissed her force pinning him to the tree growing in strength.
Gin's eyes narrowed more their blue faded to red, his rage growing immensely as he still fought against her power. She stripped him of Shinsou letting it rest beside Kita as she lay in the grass.
"I have no control of her emotions and feelings. If I did do you think I would have let her fall in love with you?" Sumi questioned him as she looked into his deep red eyes.

Gin’s eyes narrowed to slits, growling like a savage animal as he fought to break her hold on him, but he did not lash out at the surroundings. For Kita’s sake. As the fight appeared more and more futile, Gin stopped struggling only to shout another accusation at the god. “You may not control her emotions or her feelings, goddess, but you control your power,” he snarled. “She’s human, not near immortal like the others in this fight. You should never have given her that much in a twisted environment like this. "
I will not lose her.

"She fought with honesty, love and loyalty. She fought as a protector. There is no force greater than the love of a mother." She turned and stepped away from Gin as she still spoke. "In this point in the game it is her human nature that drives her to fight as you saw her just moments ago." She glanced over her shoulder at Gin.
"It is not the darkness that pushed her to what she did to Las Noches. It was her desire to keep the ones she loves safe from a man that lives only to destroy and cause pain." She grew silent, turned and looked Gin in the eyes.
"Can you do that?" She shook her head. "You still have a long road to travel to reach that level."

Gin stomped over to her. “Your powers and her protective desires will destroy her,” he hissed. “She is not a person meant to steal life - that is my job - but if you continue to let her use these powers as far as you have, she will lose herself to them. Or, she will die. She had no control over herself there. She would have killed everything there, including her friends. It’s unacceptable."
He leaned over into her face. "Take. them. back," he said quietly.

Sumi looked at him her eyes narrowed. "If that is what you wish. So be it." Gin looked quickly at Sumi his eye unbelieving that she was considering his request. He watched as she wave her hand Kita's direction. Kita gasped her back arching as she still rested to the ground. Gin spinning from Sumi to look at Kita.
"She is powerless. You thought she was a burden before," Sumi started to fade. "Enjoy your burden even more. I do hope you can be in two places at once Ichimaru. Because this is not going to please Aizen."
With those last words Sumi was gone leaving Gin to rage against the land around him.

Gin screamed and tore at the land around him, going deeper and deeper into the forest and away from Kita. He would not hurt her. That had not been what he had meant, and the fucking goddess knew it. He did not want her powerless against the forces of this war. He wanted her to take enough back it wouldn’t overwhelm her.
As the day faded into night, Gin slammed his fist into another tree and grinned sadistically as his knuckles bled. Fine, he would do it this way. He would take fate and the gods’ wishes into his own hands. Again. The snake turned around and started heading back towards the cliff where he had left Kita, splashing through a river and not noticing how his eyes were still flashing between vermillion and azure.
There was one place where Kita would be hidden from everyone, and now that the goddess’ powers were taken from her, Aizen would lose interest as soon as he realized someone else had the power to do what he wanted.
Gin smirked. Just as he liked it.
This is my war.
He walked over to Kita, looking down at her pale, tear-streaked face, and knelt down, stroking her cheek.
Not hers.
He looked down to her stomach.
Not his.
….. He kissed her gently.
“I will protect you, Kita, and the life that should be yours and his.” He pulled back and retrieved Shinsou, glaring at the sword for a moment before rising. “That is what matters.”
He stared down at her for a few more moments and then lifted her back into his arms, opening the gate to leave.

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: Deep RenewalEpisode 344 "What Comes: Finale": Giichi folded his arms over his chest. He stood at the cliffs edge, deep in thought. Suddenly, he smiled. "Before we begin, I was informed that no explanation would be offered because no explanation is required. What comes from what we do now will set the tone for what happens next.""And, what of your son?""Which one?""Oh~ Such a good daddy to know that you have two sons."Giichi nodded with a chuckle. Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: Deep RenewalEpisode 356 "Fire & The Final Word": Alister closed his eyes and let out a sighs as he folded his arms behind his back. It had been a few hours since he left the Shinigami behind in the hollow realm. Nothing about his game had gone to plan. And, it bothered him. Alister hummed lowly. "That little shit...Ruining everything.""Did he?"Alister turned around in surprise just as a fist connected with his face. There was no force behind the fist. The balled first was simply pressed against his cheek. "Is there a reason for this?"

"I try very hard not to be agitated by the fools that surround me." Giichi narrowed his eyes. He pressed his fist against Alister's cheek. "But there exists creatures like yourself that make such a task extremely difficult." Giichi lowered his fist and stepped close to Alister.
"If I could kill you and get away with it...I would."
Alister stepped away from Giichi. "I'm not entirely sure what your problem is, Giichi. But, it isn't with me."
"No...?" questioned Giichi. As Alister opened his mouth to answer, Giichi raised a hand. "I don't really want an answer from you. I'm just here to tell you what's going to happen from this point forward. But after you tell me what is it that Tervaden was planning and what you did."

"What do you want me to tell you?" Alister smirked and folded his arms over his chest. "I know nothing about the inner workings of that Shinigami's mind. And yet you want me to tell what he's thinking?"
"You want me to hit you, don't you?"
Alister sighed. "He wanted to wipe the slate clean. To him, this was a story where both the protagonist and antagonist were retired. And, those filling in were inadequate. He would have it so that both sides would have to start anew."
"And you gave it to him?!"
"Without the tremendous loss of life he would caused, yes. I think this was the best alternative." Alister smiled. "All things considered."

Giichi was quiet for a moment. "I am at a loss for words, Alister." he sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Keep going..."
"All things in their place." replied Alister.
"What does that mean?" asked Giichi with a roll of his eyes.
"Kita Miyamoto, Gin Ichimaru..." Alister waved a hand. "All of them in the human realm."
"When?"
Alister smiled. "You're the second to ask that."
"So, that means that I will be the second to receive an answer."
Laughing Alister folded his arms behind in back. "I should mention in all of this that I did away with that pesky tether of yours. "
Giichi growled beneath his breath. But kept his composure. "Before you answer the why...Answer the when."

Alister chuckled. "Fun."
"Alright..." said Giichi beneath his breath. In the blink of an eye, Giichi reached out and grabbed the god of fire by the back of his neck. Just as quickly, he pulled the god toward his rising knee. Alister's body connected with his knee. Giichi pulled the now doubled over god up by the back of his neck.
"Answer my questions or I will beat you to within an inch of your mortality."
Alister groaned as he pulled himself away from Giichi. "Nothing you did...matters." He looked at Giichi's expression growing angrier. "And, I equaled the realms."
"You aren't capable of such a thing. You had help with that...She helped you?"
Alister nodded. "Now...Your why...The lesser gods are monsters. They know nothing but chaos. They thrive on it. Their peace is chaos at a minimum. Vale Tervaden is chaos in a broken vessel. He is incapable of control or balance."
"And, my son is?!"
"...Yes..."
