Kinzo grinned wildly, reveling in the chaos around him. Using the crosses in his hands, he spread fires across the sands never minding who was in his path. A hollow tackled him. He held on, laughing in delight as he bit down on its shoulder. He slammed a heavy fist into the back of the hollows head and they fell to the ground.
Koga, watching from afar, shook his head.
"Why him?" asked Hora. "Does he play a part in all of this?"
"Yes." he said with a nod. "He does. All of them do. Some roles are more significant than others. But, they are all important. All - " Koga's eyes narrowed. "Oh my..." Koga smiled as the vision passed his gaze. "Now, that is a surprise." Koga looked over the skirmish. Urahara and Kyoraku were in combat with Teruo. The large Captain was keeping safe his smaller counterpart, Zayasu, against several of the Espada. Kurosaki, Kotetsu, Ashimitsu and Shihoin were in combat against the rest. The Ayakashi stayed in formation in front of Koga - All of them ready to move in on command. The the two boys and Tervaden disappeared from the battle. As did Shosei and...His father.

Koga stepped forward, his eyes narrowing and his arms falling to his sides. "What is this?" His violet eyes shimmered as he viewed event, forward and back. There was a shadow...A menacing shadow. A familiar shadow. He took a step back.
"I..." his mumbled to himself. "I don't understand...How can this...be...?"
"What is it?" asked Hora.
"I can't see them anymore."
"Who?"
"Those who have and carried the Hogyoku..." Koga took a step back, bringing a hand to his chest. "A blind spot..." Koga felt a wave of anger wash over him before turning on his heels. He immediately transitioned into his tertiary form and took flight. This...He didn't like this. He did not like what he could not see...

Post by Sousuke Aizen on Aug 20, 2024 17:13:34 GMT -6
In the dimly lit realm, Hueco Mundo, the air crackled with spiritual pressure as two figures stood facing each other. Aizen Sousuke, the former master of Las Noches, exuded an aura of calm dominance, his piercing gaze locked on the man standing opposite him—Sada, a powerful and unpredictable opponent. The faint echoes of battle could be heard in the distance, the sounds of steel clashing and kido spells detonating, but at this moment, everything seemed to fall silent around them. Aizen's lips curled into a faint smile. "Sada," he began, his voice smooth as silk, "I must commend you on your persistence. However, your efforts are in vain." Sada recalled Naraku, emptying the battlefield of opponents. He called his blade to him and looked to the former Master of the realm with narrowed eyes. "Dead One..." he hissed with a half shrunk smile.Aizen's smile widened, a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. "How quaint. If you truly believe you can stop me..." Without another word, Sada took a step back then lunged forward, his blade gleaming as it sliced through the air with deadly precision despite the waves of fear coursing through his body. Aizen's form blurred as he dodged the attack with minimal effort, his movements fluid and effortless. The clash of their swords reverberated across the sands of Hueco Mundo, each strike sending sparks flying.Sada's aggression was fierce, his strikes relentless, but Aizen remained unfazed. With each exchange, it became clear that Aizen was merely toying with him, his movements calculated and precise. Sada’s strikes were met with a parry or a dodge, Aizen’s speed and skill far outmatched his opponent’s. "Is this truly the extent of your power?" Aizen taunted, sidestepping another attack and countering with a swift strike that forced Sada to retreat. "I expected more from someone who claims to oppose me." Sada growled in frustration, his spiritual pressure flaring as he unleashed a barrage of Gran Rey Ceros in quick succession. The explosive spell hurtled toward Aizen with immense force. He hunched over, shrinking at the sight of the Shinigami effortlessly avoiding his attacks.Aizen raised a hand, a shimmering barrier of spiritual energy forming in front of him. The Gran Rey Ceros collided with the barrier, erupting in a burst of light and smoke, but when the dust settled, Aizen remained unharmed, his expression unchanged. "Impressive," Aizen said, his tone patronizing, "but ultimately futile." Before Sada could react, Aizen closed the distance between them in an instant, his blade slicing through the air with deadly accuracy. Sada barely managed to block the attack, but the force behind it sent him skidding back across the sand. The ground beneath his feet cracked under the pressure, and a trickle of blood ran down his arm from the impact. First Tervaden drew blood...Now, him...Aizen's eyes gleamed with cold intent as he pressed the attack, his strikes becoming more aggressive, more relentless. Sada struggled to keep up, his defenses weakening with each passing moment. Aizen's overwhelming power was undeniable, and it was clear he was holding back, merely testing the limits of his opponent. Sada staggered back, breathing heavily, tired. Overpowered. Losing. Lost. He growled beneath his breath as Naraku took its liquid form and left his hand. The blade pooled into the sand in surrender.Aizen lowered his blade, his smile returning. "You fought well, Sada. But this battle was decided the moment you crossed swords with me." Sada's eyes burned with defiance...And fear. Aizen could have killed him at any moment, but he hadn't. Instead, Aizen raised a hand, and the air behind him began to ripple and distort. The familiar black void of the Garganta began to form, its swirling darkness growing larger with each passing second."This is not the end," Aizen said, his voice carrying an ominous weight. "But for now, I must take my leave. Consider this a lesson in the futility of opposing me." With a wave of his hand, Aizen stepped back toward the Garganta, his gaze lingering on Sada for a brief moment before he turned away. The portal opened fully, a gateway to freedom for those captured, but also a reminder of the power Aizen wielded. Sada watched, his fists clenched, as Aizen called out to the others to retreat and enter the Garganta as he held him and any other Espada, Ayakashi or hollow at bay.The captains and the others brought to Hueco Mundo quickly disappeared into the darkness. Aizen was the last to enter as he guarded the Garganta opening so everyone could escape safely. Once he entered the Garganta closed behind him, leaving the Hueco Mundo in silence.
