She did not turn to look at him, only nodded her head. She stood there for a few more minutes took a deep breath and stood tall. "I understand and I hope you're right." She then turned and looked at Vale.
"And if push comes to shove again with you, I am glad I got to know the turned man that you are." She walked over to Sojiro and picked him up from his play spot on the floor. "I need to get going. I am sure they are wondering where I wandered off to."

Vale followed behind Kita as she walked towards the door. "I thank you for spending time with me today." Kita nodded as she opened the door and stepped into the hall. "You should stop by more often." Kita and Sojiro waved good bye and headed down the hall, as Vale shut the door behind them. He laid down on his couch and closed his eyes, whispering a name as he let himself soft into a light sleep. "Alister. "

"The Touch of Fate or Curiosity":"Vale Tervaden." The god hovered over the resting Vale Tervaden. "You call on me then sleep?" Alister gently nudged Tervaden until his eyes flickered opened and stared back at the god. "There you are! Rise Tervaden. And, speak." Alister stepped away from Tervaden as he rose in the dark void of his dream, Alister serving as the only source of light in the dark.
As Vale continued to stare at the god, Alister frowned. "I am not a patient god, Tervaden. Speak or I will go."

Vale rose to his feet, his eyes still focused on the god. "You." he started. "You're the god...You're the one Kita says took my memories." Vale's eyes narrowed as Alister lips turned a grin. "You are that god, right?" Alister nodded.
"Why?" asked Vale. "Why would you take my memories?" Vale took a single step closer to the god, his hands trembling. "I have been told what I have done. But, that's no reason to take my memories...who I am, from me."

The god laughed as the human Tervaden took another step forward. "So, this is what this meeting is to be about? And, I take it, you think you have an understanding of what you've done. And, why this was done to you."
Vale shook his head. "No. That is why I ask. I have been told what I have done. But, that doesn't explain why you would do this to me."
Alister leaned forward, grinning as his eyes met Tervaden's. "Why question a god, Tervaden? Even in your human form, you are bold and foolish. Simply explaining why I have done what I have will not satisfy you. So, why not get down to what you really want, Tervaden." The god's grin grew wider as he snaked around Tervaden. "Go ahead and ask."

Vale cast his eyes downward, as Alister circled him with a wide grin. "May I have my memories back?" Alister laughed as he continued to circle Vale. His laughter only infuriating Vale. "I don't see why this is so amusing to you. You find pleasure in inflicting pain on others? Some god you are. I take it, you're the example of what a god shouldn't be?"

The gods laughter ceased and Alistered stopped in front of Tervaden. With a brow raised, he smiled. "Probably. But, I am not the topic of this discussion. You wish to regain your memories. And, that -" Alister raised a hand and extended it to Tervaden. "Comes at a price."
He looked a Tervaden, his smile fading and eyes darkening. "Do you accept?"

Vale looked down at Alister's hand. "Since when is it alright for a god to bargain with anyone?" He looked up to the god with a tilted head and furrowed brow. "And, what is your price? Isn't it wise to tell me the price before asking if I accept?"
"A foolish man would have accepted without asking my terms."
"I am not a foolish man. Now, what is your price?"

Alister kept his hand extended to the human man. "I am a curious god, Tervaden. This one," the god grabbed Tervaden's hand, "was on me." He watched as Tervaden's eye's widened and he fell to the floor.
He kept a hold on Tervaden's hand, as the man writhed in pain as his memories returned. He murmured the names of those he served with and under in Las Noches. He made mention of the Soul Society and Karakura Town, before pulling his hand from the god's.
"Are you satisfied, Tervaden?" asked the god. "You have your memories back."

Vale lay on the floor, his head pounding and ears ringing as he looked up to the god. "You're a fucking asshole. You know that, right?" Alister shrugged and he used to his foot to nudge Vale. Tears streamed down Vale's face as he continued to lie on the floor.
"Conflicting isn't it? The memories of the last year and a half, mingling with your former memories. How will this change you, Tervaden? How will this break you?"
"So many...So many people...Dead..." whispered Vale.

"What you are feeling is guilt, Tervaden." said the god, looking to Tervaden. "Something you probably haven't felt for quite some time. Not since you were a Captain." The god frowned slightly as Vale covered his face with his hands.
"You are not a weak man, Tervaden. Yet you've let your emotions get the better of you. Your time among the exiled and humans have made you soft. Aizen would find you incapable of working along side him. He would find you as useless as Ichimaru."

"Aizen..." Vale sat up and looked to Alister, wiping his face free of tears. He shook his head, clearing his mind the best he could. "Why did you do this? I just asked you to put Las Noches into hiding. I didn't ask for my powers to be taken nor my memories. Why?"
Vale rose to his feet and dusted himself. Looking around the darkness, Vale questioned where he was. When Alister did not answer, Vale closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. "Alister..." Vale reached out and punched Alister in the face.

The god's head turned from the force of Tervaden's punch. He smiled and turned back to Tervaden. "You're a foolish man, Tervaden." The god grabbed Tervaden by the throat and picked him up, before Tervaden kicked him in the chest.
"You meddle as much as Sumi! Why did you take my memories and power? And, why do I have this memory of you..." Tervaden rubbed his neck before standing and facing the god again.
"What are you talking about? I return your memories to you and you accuse me of meddling?" The god looked to a smiling Tervaden. "In what?"
"We've met before...." Tervaden brought his hand to his left eye. "I think we've met before."
"Oh! That!" The god waved Tervaden off as he turned his back to him. "It was necessary."

Vale tilted his head slightly. "Necessary? What was necessary? I remember seeing you, then...But, never meeting you until Aizen's death." Vale stared at Alister, hoping a memory would come forward to provide some clarity. He shook his head. "You've given me a price before...Haven't you?"
Vale looked on as Alister smiled and nodded in response. "What did I ask for?"

The god looked down at Tervaden as the man looked back at him, his expression demanding answers. "You asked for nothing. You do not remember meeting me prior to Aizen's fall, because we did not meet prior to that event. " The god turned away from Tervaden and folded his arms across his chest. "You were too mild. Too meek. You were on the wrong path. I merely corrected what fate had assigned incorrectly." The god turned back around at the sound of a faint gasp from Tervaden. "I couldn't let you continue on that path. You have to understand. It was neccessay."
