There is a LOT to read and remember in this Roleplay. Perhaps that is normal for a group that has lasted over two years now, but it does make reading a daunting task if you wish to know all the twists and turns. And it is a complicated, topsy turvy rollercoaster of a story. It's also a LONG process to turn into a fan fiction.
So for the good of all, I am creating summaries of the arcs. This will cover the BASIC outline of the plots and turns in the story so far. It will not have all the little details, new character introductions, and every single change in perspectives. And though there will be spoilers, I will not always be specific. This is a guide. Not the story itself.
After I am done with these, I will also add a short paragraph sketch of each character for reference, too.
Here's a basic backstory and explanation to the world itself:
This is an Alternate Universe RP of Bleach. It picks up 5 years afer Aizen's capture. The Quincy war (the current arc in the manga) did occur but it is rarely mentioned in the RP because we don't like most of that arc. Also, to keep some characters alive, we made a few changes to the end of Aizen's capture.
Kisuke and Yoruichi found Gin damn near dead and saved his life. Ulquiorra, Grimmjow, Nnoitra, Starrk, Halibel, and Szayel were all saved by Aizen and his (new) right hand, his daughter Azayaka (an OC), though it was more like Szayel was saved and he revived the others. Four more espada are created to finish filling the ranks: Loki the 10 or 0, Whisper the second, Vacanze the seventh and Cassava the ninth. Karin, Ichigo's kid sister, is at the troublesome age of 16, and has started to grow into her powers, mid-level offensive kido and reiatsu-fused physical offense mostly. Her zanpakuto is still sleeping within her. Yuzu still seems normal. Gin is pardoned for his crimes by Central but is still pretty much an outcast. He ends up becoming one of the resident shadows of Kisuke's shop where he has been befriended by a human girl, Kita (OC). Kita is in love with another OC, a third seat of 10th division, Tsukiro. And finally, Juushiro did not die when he used his godly connection in the Quincy war though it took him a long time to recover.
Aizen escaped no more than a year ago but disappeared. There has been no activity from him, the calm before the inevitable storm.
Enjoy~

Setting the Stage/ First Wave:
Aizen starts the RP off with a blast, kidnapping Karin, Orihime, and a trump card, Yumiko, a noble soul reaper sealed by Central for her powers, the ability to reflect any powers of a a zanpakuto within a certain range. She was sealed away after reflected Ryujin Jakka, Yamamoto's blade. Azien's breaking the sealing without the proper words fractures her memories, recalling little after the first two decades of her sealing, when her family abandoned her. She doesn't know much about the war and trusts Aizen implicitly, something Aizen goes to all lengths to keep (including a facade of a kinder world which his espada must maintain) as he woes her, shaping her to his shield and queen. Yumiko's trust in Aizen doesn't waver until Kita is dragged into Las Noches by Loki.
Soon after the capture of Yumiko, Karin, and Orihime, Kisuke has little choice but to reveal a truth about his friend Kita, who he looks to as if she were his daughter. She is the vessel of the seraph, a goddess of history, and if Aizen got her hands on her, he could finally get to the godly realm and attack the Soul King. Therefore, she must keep wearing the brooch he gave her. But Kisuke's plan has a weakness. Gin Ichimaru. The two are close friends, and when Ulquiorra spies and takes note of the Snake's living self, Loki notices Kita. He finally kidnaps and rapes Kita, claiming her for himself. Kita survives because of a soul phone he accidentally didn't take from her, calling Tsukiro and escaping to the dreamworld with him. Finally, Kita's only hope to escape the brutal espada is by revealing her secret to Azayaka.
But she only succeeds in making herself more interesting to Aizen.
In fact, Aizen doesn't release her from Loki until the espada goes too far in a punishment, setting Karin off – from a nearby room. Meanwhile, Kisuke makes a deal with Gin before he departs for Las Noches, giving him the Hogyoku in exchange for protecting Kita. Tsukiro breaks into a captains' meeting and gets chastised by his captain, the commander, AND Kisuke. Kisuke is put in charge of the rescue mission.

Old Friends & New Enemies; Battlefields Drawn:
Gin returns to his old position just in time to save Kita from the advances of Aizen – but just in time to be shared by the both of them. Kita's glimmer of hope is nearly shattered – forcing the goddess to appear after the fact to Gin – and he makes another promise, deepening his vow to his only friend. Kita starts to trust him again.
Earlier, in a scuffle, Kita was forced to give the soul phone to Karin, and it is in Karin's hands that it is eventually found. After Nnoitra has his way with her, Aizen gathers the prisoners – minus Kita (who is recovering) – and demands to know where the spy device came from. Karin takes the blame, no matter what is said. As she is hauled off to be punished, Aizen turns to Gin and Kita, the real culprit. Kita is stolen from Gin's rooms, raped by both Aizen and Loki to reveal what she has told the enemy, and then returned to Gin. Gin is also threatened with the consequences of any continued duality when Aizen dials his phone and it is within Gin's kimono. After Aizen is finished with Kita, both he and his daughter descend to the dungeon, torturing Karin. Azayaka's hollow side nearly takes control of her in the face of Karin's spite and spirit.
In Soul Society, the commander and select few set a trap for Azayaka using the information Kita gave them. Tsukiro makes an idiotic dash to Las Noches, and Aizen attacks Kita again. Gin uses all of his wits and a desperate measure to protect her and himself from another backlash.

Luck and Traps – Skirmish Mode:
But in the process, Gin loses Kita again. And she manages to run away.
Back to Tsukiro's arms. Tsukiro whisks her away to Soul Society and the protection of the commander just before Aizen and Gin descend on the shop to retrieve her. Kisuke, Yoruichi, and Juushiro tell them to return with a few succinct warnings. Kita is hidden away in a bunker underneath the Captain Commander's office and starts to heal. But she doesn't stay put long before she starts to search for Azayaka within Soul Society's officers AND examine her reasons for escaping – to keep Gin from changing. Tsukiro's instability is put to the test by the commander himself.
In Las Noches, Azayaka tries to appease her hollow side by engaging in sex with Vacanze and Karin nearly escapes with Orihime but is caught. Meanwhile, Aizen tightens his mirage around Yumiko and her powers continue to expand into manipulating kido.
Kita reveals Azayaka, who is captured. But she steels herself to return to Las Noches after Kisuke gives her a weapon of her own, twin deadly daggers designed as hairpins. But before they can make many plans, Aizen moves – in a two-pronged attack.
Aizen and Gin descend on Soul Society and demand Kita and Azayaka's return, or the other three will die, Karin, Orihime, AND Yumiko. Meanwhile, in Karakura town, the Espada attack, targeting the death of one person and the capture of another. The commander and Kisuke try to fool Aizen with a 'fake' Kita but he doesn't take the bait. Kita appears, ready to go, and in process reveals a trick of Aizen's. But in the end, Aizen still gets what he wants. Rangiku and Juushiro are gravely wounded in Karakura, and two more people have been captured, Tsukiro, Kita's love, and Izuru Kira, Gin's other weakness.

Dark Shadows:
The plots in Las Noches thicken as Aizen moves on with his plans to break Gin and therefore, Kita, while his adversaries recover from his attack. As he torments Tsukiro, who has a deep-rooted hatred for him, the man who killed his family, Gin and Kita's friendship is tested by the Snake's lingering bloodlust. The two form a pact and seal it. In the morning, Kita is given a new keeper, Vacanze. Kita is sharp-tongued, willful, and doesn't crack until she learns that Gin doesn't know of either Rangiku's 'death' or Izuru's capture. With her struggle, Gin realizes something is up, saving Izuru. Aizen retaliates by wiping Kita's memories with a pill – though his full intention is stopped by the Goddess who locks everything away but Kita and Gin's friendship.
As Kita changes, she starts forming a relationship with her keeper, and he, with her. Which leads into trouble between herself and Azayaka. On Aizen's orders, Izuru nearly tortures Kita but Gin steps up. Taking up Aizen's challenge and warning, he whips Kita within an inch of her life, the bloodlust consuming him, as Izuru watches in horror. When Aizen is appeased, only Izuru calling out to him halts Gin. In the aftermath, Kita patches things between Izuru and Gin, and Vacanze starts to choose another path, one against Aizen.
Meanwhile Kisuke, aided by a deadly virus from Kurotsuchi, launches a surprise attack at Las Noches, shaking the palace to its core. He succeeds in rescuing all but Yumiko but is nearly trapped on the dunes due to Aizen. However, Gin backstabs Aizen for Rangiku and they all get away.

Dualities:
At Kisuke's shop, all try to deal with Kita's new condition, her lost memories and her reliance on Gin as his 'Pet.' It is hardest of all on Kisuke and Tsukiro, but neither give up. Not all is awkward or bitter. Vacanze visits from Las Noches to check on Kita and reveal his newfound dislike of the situation, going so far as to threaten to take Kita far away from everything if she is returned to Las Noches. As Kisuke goes to work on undoing Aizen's work, Gin agonizes over Rangiku's coma and clings to Kita's friendship.
Aizen is not dead or even gravely injured. His shapeshifter espada Loki took the hit and it is a grand illusion on his and Gin's parts. But as one illusion deepens, one must break. After verifying her love for him, Aizen reveals his true self to Yumiko, and when she fights the same pill given to Kita, knocks her out. Szayel is to change her memories, erasing Soul Society from her mind completely.
Things heat up in Karakura just before Aizen shows up. For Kita again. But there's a catch. He has learned that the Hougyoku Gin gave him before is sealed. And that means he wants two things. Loki kidnaps Rangiku JUST as she is waking up. Aizen demands Kita and the Hougyoku or she will die. Gin slips into despair, but Kita pulls him out of it. Just in time for Gin to join in the plotting to kill Kita, to kill her and retrieve her soul in Soul Society. But this would break her bond with the goddess. The skirmish does not go as planned. Kita is taken away and Gin cuts off final ties with Kisuke and company, stabbing both Rangiku and Izuru with Shinsou.

A New Page in the War:
As those involved in the Karakura attack nurse their wounds, Las Noches gets darker. Yumiko awakes completely devoted to Aizen, and Kita uses the attack on her life to put up her own illusion – that of her own loyalty to Aizen. Whether Aizen believes her or not is thoroughly put to the test. As Kita and Gin give into the pull between them, Aizen returns to the room and the sexual acts take a decidedly macabre turn, that of physical and mental torture.
As Kita and Gin recover, Aizen bars Vacanze from Kita; he, in turn, starts to plot with Kisuke to free her and works on returning to Azayaka’s good graces. In Soul Society, the goddess Sumi appears and tells Juushiro and the commander what happened between Kita and Gin. And tells them to stay away from Las Noches. That those within will save each other. For a full year, they cannot attack Aizen at his base.
In Las Noches, two more things thicken the tension building between Aizen and Gin. Yumiko starts acting jealous of Kita and ‘attacks’ a tree above Gin with a reflection of Shinsou, setting Kita off. Aizen, in turn, arranges for her to be brutally raped by Grimmjow. And when, Vale (OC), a wanderer who followed Aizen but vanished, returns to his side, he tortures both Kita and Gin for any acts of rebellion or disobedience they may have done.
When Azayaka's wrath is turned to Gin in a most terrible way, Kita breaks down and nearly destroys Las Noches with the Goddess' powers, stopped only by the painful plea to return by Gin. Then, Yumiko's jealousy spirals out of control, and she attacks Gin, Kita, and Aizen. Kita stops her and Aizen take her to rest before returning her to Szayel for some 'adjusting'.

Cold War:
In Karakura, Karin wrestles with the wounds left from her time Las Noches and Kisuke and Yorichi talk to Tsukiro about his dangerous hatred of both Aizen and Gin. Kita visits from Las Noches for help in controlling her power fast enough to please Aizen. This, in turn, leads to Tsukiro stepping up to his destiny, taking over the Stealth Force as the Shihoin heir, and trying to prove himself as being ready for the open captain's position. A new captain OC, Ryo, replaces a captain who has to step down to appease his noble family (another OC). Ryo is assigned to prepare and test Tsukiro.
Back in Las Noches, Kita's escape act tightens the noose around both Gin and Kita. Gin, fearing she will delve too deeply into her studies and lose herself again, baits Aizen. Aizen arranges for his imprisonment, and Vale is set as Kita's keeper. Gin will endure Aizen's torments until Kita masters the power asked of her.
But as Kita nears her deadline, something else happens. Fearing Yumiko is too close to Aizen and following Vale's advice, Kita hints at Aizen's true nature, disrupting the careful balance in the noble's head. Lost in a world of pain, trying to understand things, Yumiko flees – to Karakura Town, the center of the war for answers. Kisuke gives them to her and reunites her with Juushiro – for a short time. The two can do little when Aizen appears to retrieve her.
Furious, Aizen then imprisons Yumiko in the dungeon for a night as a price of her rebellion, during which Gin suggests that she give in to Aizen protect herself. Vale watches on from the sidelines.

The Dark Before the Dawn:
Vale unleashing the darkness inside himself to get more power sets off a chain of reactions. Not satisfied with the work of Szayel on his blind eye, Vale kidnaps and rapes Orihime, slowly breaking her down. Seeing the change, Kita goes berserk, which leads to Vale raping and torturing her in front of Gin. Aizen joins the fun and using a combination of baiting the Snake and hallucinations courtesy of Vale's blade, Chinmoku, Kita sees Gin 'die'. However, Sumi whisks him away in the dead of the night and gives him some of her powers. Using the 'death' of the Snake, Aizen starts his breaking of Kita. Yumiko reaches out to Orihime but is reminded of her place by Aizen before she can succeed.
Three weeks pass.
Thanks to their connection through dreams, Kita starts fighting back and is cornered by Vale and Aizen with hallucinations pitting herself against Gin. However, Gin appears, barely controlling the power of the goddess and rescues her, using their connection to free her from them. But it is a temporary fix and Kita nearly kills Gin when Vale is sent to retrieve her and he regains control of her. Sumi takes Gin to the Godly realm to heal and train. Before the powers destroy him. Finally, sensing that something more than usual is wrong with Kita, Vacanze acts ahead of time, drugging and abducting Azayaka.

The Dark Before the Dawn II:
(Sorry, this is a long one.)
A month passes, but too much quiet in Las Noches leads to danger. Yumiko, Kita, and Orihime meet up in Kita's rooms for breakfast and are joined – unwillingly by Vale. Vale recalls Yumiko's spirit an earlier night and corners her. She fights back – and resists his hallucinations, piquing his interest further. Their skirmish is halted by Orihime begging Vale to stop, but it leaves its mark.
Aizen and Vale set out into the dunes to snare Gin and punish the girls at the same time. Aizen forces Kita to watch Vale and Yumiko fight, during which Yumiko can't use her Kido. He waits for Kita's agony to bring out Gin. Yumiko and Vale's battle takes a more brutal turn when Yumiko disarms him momentarily but won't give up when he retaliates by tearing into her face. Vale turns his rage on Kita, tearing into her with Chinmoku. Gin rushees off with her, while Sumi appears, healing Yumiko who defeats Vale. Unfortunately, Sumi retreats to keep Aizen from using his full powers. And Aizen reminds Yumiko of her place.
Gin pours all of himself into healing Kita, even when she is reluctant to let him and breaks through the hallucinations again. At an oasis, they spend three days locked in each other's embrace. However, as Gin and Kita start to heal from their separation, things are becoming more difficult for Yumiko. She visits Orihime only to find her in Vale's thrall, whispering to give into her fate, to the darkness of Las Noches and Aizen. On the other hand, Tsukiro undergoes the Captain's Testing at the hands of Ryo and Sajin. Juushiro tries to reach the goodness within Azayaka.
Just as the situation calms in Las Noches, Aizen stirs it up again, reminding Vale to reinforce his powers on Kita. And Kita... unfortunately, has no choice but to come, falling back into their control. Her luck spirals downwards when Aizen finds her with child and believes it's his child. This tears up Kita and Yumiko for different reasons. And when Kita fears for her child at Aizen's hands, she flees. As Yumiko tries to reason with Aizen, she is tossed from him in disgrace. Vale questions Yumiko's turmoil and asks for a second chance at her friendship. At the same time, Aizen revises the position Yumiko holds with him.
Kita stays away from Las Noches, considering what to do with herself and the child. The news gets out. Kita finds Azayaka but Gin's been on the prowl just as long and snatches her. Vale returns to Las Noches with Azayaka and Gin retreats to the Godly Realm with Kita. There, Sumi reveals the truth: that the child is Gin and Kita's, not Aizen's. Kita returns to Las Noches and Aizen's control after being bolstered by Gin.

Storm Fronts:
(These next two arcs are dense.)
Curiosity about 'his' child leads Aizen to check out a book from Soul Society's archives. He reveals Kita's obedience to him to the captains by just happening to stop by and freeze their meeting. Kisuke and the Kurosakis are there, too. As he descends to the archives, Kita keeps everyone's powers bound. A new espada OC, a seer named Koga leads the defense of Aizen's back. Meanwhile, Kisuke, Tsukiro, and Ichigo try to reason with Kita, which leads to Juushiro to do something reckless. As mind-controlled Kido attack Kita and Vale, Vale awakens Chinmoku. Paying no heed to his condition, Juushiro retaliates by unleashing a power shield, protecting all and turning Vale's storm on Vale himself. But the captains' defiance is futile as Aizen returns and retrieves his companions.
This is not the last skirmish. As Kisuke confers with the Commander about their situation, Vale unleashes the remnants of Chinmoku on the masses gathered after their departure from the meeting. Kisuke turns his focus to halting Chinmoku's assaults. But it is a slow process. Vale attacks again - this time on the headquarters of the healing division. But once again, he's met head on by Juushiro once more. It's a battle Vale has long been seeking. In the end, both are wounded and Kisuke succeed in trapping Chinmoku's shards, cutting Vale off from his power.
Vale is left in great pain as well as sorrow and reaches out to Yumiko. Unwilling to let anyone go through what she did, Yumiko agrees to help him retrieve Chinmoku from Soul Society, in spite of Koga's dark warnings. In the course of the skirmish, Yumiko is captured by Soul Society and Juushiro is taken by Koga. Vale also completely reforms his blade, freeing Kita, who flees instantly.
Vale engages in a battle for his life with his blade.
Back in Soul Society, Kisuke and the commander hide Kita and Yumiko in a secret village where Kisuke has also been hiding his son, Kenji (OC). It is a brief reprieve. Aizen uses Koga's abilities to find their hideout, but due to the protection of Kisuke's blade, Benihime, goes to retrieve them himself, testing Yumiko's skills in the process.
Although Yumiko saves Kita from hurting Kenji, due to the leeching influence of Kyoka Suigetsu, she is not powerful enough to hold the illusion indefinitely. Kita returns of her own free will with Yumiko. But when Aizen attempts to change the illusion, Kita bolts again, freeing others along the way. Aizen retaliates by attacking the village, but Sumi halts the damage before it can get too far. Yet Koga still retrieves Yumiko once more.
Kita's rage is turned on Las Noches, which she starts to demolish - with her friends inside - until Gin halts her.

Storm Fronts II: Retaliations:
(This is another dense one.)
Gin’s desperate fear and worry for Kita turns to murderous rage, which he turns on the goddess. Sumi, teaching him a lesson, strips Kita of her powers. This leaves Gin to flee to the shop, but when Kisuke lashes out at him for his part in Kita’s powerlessness, Gin snaps. And disappears. Meanwhile, Sumi and Kita argue about Gin, the danger of his darkness, and protecting her child. Kita won’t waver away from him but falls asleep before she can do anything to change Sumi’s mind. Kisuke and Yoruichi hunt for Gin. And Aizen sets up his own trap for the snake, using himself as bait.
Vale and Gin battle each other, and with his Bankai, Vale massacres Gin’s terrified shell. Aizen stops him from killing the snake to speak to him, taunting him about losing again, his son’s future, and his belief that Gin belongs in the darkness. And always will. Sumi finally appears to save Gin. But the damage is done. Gin plunges into darkness, locking away all his memories of Kita.
With Gin in critical condition, Aizen returns to end his misery, and take control of Kita again. He goes so far as to use Kita’s own hand to do the deed, but Sumi won’t allow it. Kita breaks free of the illusion set around her and unleashes her powers on Aizen. However, Koga snatches her when she droops from exhaustion. Kisuke, in retaliation, puts the Snake through hell and manages to get Gin back as he knew him. Gin trains further with Sumi. Back in Las Noches, Aizen turns all his focus on Kita, but Kita, and Kisuke, are ready for him. Kita forces the King of Las Noches to keep his distance from her and the shopkeeper protects her last weak point - her parents.
As the drama amongst Gin, Kisuke, Kita, and Aizen is playing out, Yumiko is taken back to Las Noches and is drawn closer and closer to Vale. Finally, Yumiko gave in to the pull she felt to Vale and slept with him, pleasing Vale greatly. However, Orihime, who had fallen for Vale, saw that Vale was treating Yumiko differently and attacked Yumiko for her duality as a friend and falling for the criminal that Vale is. Lost and afraid, Yumiko suffered a total breakdown, even scaring Vale.
Just as Yumiko falls apart, Gin strikes Las Noches, wounding Aizen greatly and saving Kita. Kita attacks Vale when he tries to calm Yumiko. But Sumi stops her from taking Yumiko with her. This troubles Kita deeply, yet before she can act on that worry, Orihime returns to Karakura, distracting her. That being said, Kita's worry returns along with doubts about how deeply Gin cares for her. This ends when she slips on the roof, giving Gin a scare, and he confesses to her. Finally saying the words, I love you. Gin both gains a new strength and fallis even deeper under the weight of his crimes.
Kita’s worry for Yumiko is rivaled by Vale’s own worry. After Orihime turns on him, Yumiko is given to Szayel for some ‘adjusting’. All of her emotions are taken from her until the dawn of Soul Society’s attack.
The attack almost turns deadly - in Aizen’s favor - when he sees through the elaborate ruse and instates his own to replace it. Posing as Nori Mutsu, the captain of wind, he set Toshiro off. Karin is nearly killed due to Koga. But on the other hand, Kisuke locks Loki away in his Bankai, Bloody Coffin. In Karakura, Yumiko appears and tries to get Kita to run away to safety with her, but Gin realizes she is under Aizen’s control. In the end, after threatening Kenji and Kita’s life, Sumi gives all her powers to Gin and Gin rips out his former master’s heart.

The Second War's End:
(This is one of the most dense and most important arcs of the RP.)
Aizen’s death shakes the realm and Gin Ichimaru. After he finally kills Aizen, he slips into a coma, unable to cope with all the pain he has caused himself any further. A piece of Gin stays awake in Shinsou who uses the godly powers still in his master to be a voice to ease Kita’s loneliness as her friends in Karakura and Soul Society start to pick up the pieces from the final fight, including the kidnapping of Hinamori and the return, willingly, of Orihime to Las Noches - and Koga. The former crushes Ichigo.
Meanwhile, unknown to those in Soul Society, the Soul King intervenes to restore the balance. Even though Juushiro defeated and captured Vale, the Soul King sends a fire god, Alsiter (OC), to free him and set him up as the new ruler of Las Noches. Vale only agrees with this plot on one condition. IF the God erases Yumiko’s pain, which has returned with Aizen’s ‘death’. The God agrees. A bloody takeover takes place, including the death of Azayaka, Aizen’s daughter, and Szayel taking the body of both her and Aizen (which Koga grabbed). Vale considers ways of breaking Soul Society. And Szayel uses science to impregnate Orihime with Aizen’s seed, carefully modified to create a human and hollow child before dumping her in Karakura.
Two weeks pass and Uryu Ishida returns from his travels to amend for what he has done.
His arrival preludes another dark time. Disaster strikes Soul Society as two espada wreck havoc and leave the naked, ruined form of Hinamori on the First Division roof. Koga kidnaps Yumiko; however, Vale chases her out before performing a forbidden kido that will eventually revive Aizen and asking for a new power. Selfishly revoking the protection Alister gave Yumiko, for power equal to Kita, power to crush even the strongest espada. As Yumiko has a breakdown, Vale then searches for strength higher than the espada. And Ulquiorra brings him them, the Ayakashi. First two twins… and then more follow. Using them, Vale unleashes his version of justice on his enemies.
Within two days time, war returns from Las Noches. Vale’s first target is his old frend/nemesis, Juushiro. Eventually, Juushiro is hospitalized, and the Ayakashi attacking him is repelled by the commander. Back in Karakura, another Ayakashi takes the lives of Kita’s parents, leaving their heads as souvenirs on the doorstep. And three more attack and incapacitate the Substitute, while playing with Karin’s flame.
Fate takes a momentary kind turn in the form of another Quincy. Raelin (OC), is from a noble line of quincies with the power to balance the deaths of her people, an Angel. And she has the ability to undo certain evil acts. When called to undo the deaths of Kita’s parents, Kita refuses her, and asks for help with healing the darkness keeping Gin asleep instead. She accepts. The procedure tears her up but it shortens the reaper’s time in the void.
Finally, Vale’s masterplan comes to pass. Attacking and nearly killing the commander with his new powers, each time Vale is wounded, more life returns to the shell of Aizen. Alister appears, saving the commander’s life for the sake of the balance, and feeling a momentary pang, Vale goes after Yumiko. Sealing the room from all others until he has finished with her. Yumiko struggles against him and wounds him greatly, even when he tells her evil will always be around. Alister stops her final attack from falling. In the meantime, Koga, using the ingenuity of Szayel, sets the Soul Society afire! Erupting through a portal, hundreds of hollow birds land and explode! The rift in the balance is so great that it wakes Raelin screaming to halt the massive deaths. Alister makes a pact with the captains still standing to end the fires. And a whole THIRD of the people in Soul Society are killed.
Vale completes what is necessary to awaken Aizen once again, but creates a pact with the God for peace to take the realms, putting all the espada and ayakashi asleep. Aizen adds to the pact, and Alister sets his price, including changing Aizen into a harmless old man. The other half of the price is turning Vale into a human with no memory, a price Vale begs to be changed until it is too late, to remember Yumiko…. the only thing… that matters….

Justice and Finding Peace:
Kisuke finds Vale dropped off at his shop and swiftly imprisons him, testing the validity of his new human form before letting him go. Rukia is returned to Soul Society, broken by Koga, and is quarantined for her violent waking. Kita gives birth to her son, Sojiro (OC) and a few months later, Orihime gives birth to Evita (OC). Both girls ask that Vale be forgiven. Yumiko also starts her path to healing, deciding to bury and forget all love that bloomed in Las Noches and start anew. Even with the new form of Vale who still seeks her out. Aizen in his new form as the old man Gary becomes friendly with the Urahara Shop group but purposefully slips when addressing Kita, calling her Kitten, Aizen’s pet name just to spook her. Finally, six months later, Kisuke and Ichigo testify on the behalf of the two traitors, Vale who is now human and blameless in that form, and Gin Ichimaru, who is still within his coma. Kisuke warns Soul Society that he will become traitor to defend the change of Gin Ichimaru and in return, he is set to watch over Vale and any return of his memories and powers. After six months, Rukia is well enough and stable enough to venture beyond her room, with Renji and Ichigo.
A YEAR PASSES.
Living in a flower shop and still wrestling with his lost identity, Vale talks to Kita and then calls to Alister in his dreams. This, in turn, reveals many things, including a truth long hidden from Vale — the fact that Alister has inferred in his life before, back when he destroyed his division. Alister says it was necessary. Vale attacks Alister, demanding a fair fight. And for some reason, he gets it. After battling it out in Hueco Mundo and creating a new Ayakashi (made from the sands of Las Noches and Alister’s bood - Sada Teruo(OC)), Vale sets new rules between himself and the God.
As his memories return, Vale approaches Yumiko once again, but she refuses him, afraid of surrendering herself to love. Vale confesses to having his memories, and though she still keeps her distance from him, she agrees to keep his secret. Meanwhile Kisuke and a group of captains visit the sleeping castle of Las Noches to ascertain the truth of the Las Noches being dead and Kisuke finds traces of Teruo and Vale. After an interrogation, he warns Vale but lets him go. Yumiko’s family take steps to marry her to Byakuya for her power, but the commander and Juushiro prevent it. Even with Juushiro set as her new guardian, Yumiko retreats to Karakura.
As Kita and Gin talk about the past and their child in their dreamland, Gin starts to believe in forgiveness, and Kita talks to Kisuke about her own scars. Vacanze and Ichigo further pull Kita from lethargy with training to be a better warrior, and little seven year old Kenji releases his zanpakuto, proving his genius. Finally, Vale finally persuades Yumiko to surrender to what can be between them, starting a relationship that stays secret for a few months.

After the Calm: The Waiting:
(Here's another dense one.)
As time goes on, Vale secretly meets with Gary, whom he can see as Aizen, and checks on his plans, especially for Yumiko. He’s told he can have her as long as she doesn’t rebel, making Vale laugh and say that won’t be a problem. While Kisuke’s research on Sumi the Seraph continues, becoming book length, the commander sets two things in place to prevent more chaos, a larger net of protection around Seireitei that will trap hollows in a net for a limited amount of time and a spy in Karakura to watch over Vale, Yorusuke (OC). Rukia finally returns to work, in time for Renji to act on his feelings and finally ask her on a date, with the taciturn approval of his captain even.
When Kisuke learns about the secret love affair, he warns Vale about the consequences of hurting Yumiko and sets Vale’s rage and powers off. Desperate, Yumiko calms him. Momentarily. Alister attempts to bargain with her to silence his dark side permanently. But the price is too high for her. When the God leaves, Vale asks her not to talk to the God again. Three years after giving birth to Evita, when Ichigo returns from a shopping trip, Orihime confesses to Ichigo and Ichigo returns her feelings.
Six years pass…. Six years of undisturbed peace.
Kita’s birthday heralds a spark of new hope and new brutal storm. Sojiro plays chess with Gary, Evita enjoys taunting Kita, and the morning of that birthday, Gin finally wakes up, eight years after falling into the coma. He apologizes to Kisuke about his role in Kita’s unhappiness, and the shopkeeper explains that no fault lies with him and that the outcome was the best that could have happened. Kita and Gin have a joyous reunion and Soji is happy to meet his dad. At the birthday party, Tsukiro and Gin clash. Tsukiro gives Kita a friendship ring and Rangiku, shocked in all kinds of ways, kisses Gin. In the confusion, Sada, the Ayakashi, and Koga attack the party, and reveal that Aizen is alive and Vale has his memories.
After the ambush, Kita is enraged that Vale has had his memories all this time, even lashing out at Yumiko, and Yumiko retaliates by bargaining with Alister for Vale’s life. He sets an awful price, her sight or justice for his wrongs of his previous life - including her testimony. Fearing the darkness, Yumiko feels she has no choice but to choose justice, and Kisuke follows Vale to where the God drops him off. At the commander’s feet. Kisuke and the commander squeeze most information out of Vale, who breaks down under confession through fear of what Alister did to Yumiko, and losing her. In a group meeting at the shop, many angry words are used and Yumiko passes out, unable to cope with the duality of her lover.
Meanwhile, Vale bargains with Alister to undo Yumiko’s bargain and appears to die, leaving a confession for the commander and a ring for Yumiko. Alister blames the commander and his friends for the death and compares it to what has happened to Yumiko. Meanwhile, Kisuke and Gin corner Gary/Aizen. They imprison him at the shop, though Aizen makes an attempt at freedom by using Sojiro’s trust. This turns Kita murderous, terrifying Sojiro, and Aizen warns Gin that this is not the end - that he will claim his family again - and that Kita is darker than he knows. Alister appears after Vale’s death and reveals a hidden family tie — Kisuke is Aizen’s little brother. Aizen is restored and nearly freed, but testing Alister leads to him being dropped off at the commander’s feet. He is imprisoned again. However, Sada the Ayakashi gets bored, attacks Koga for fun, and then is unleashed on the captains in Soul Society, bringing fear into Ryo and Komamura's relationship.
