"The Last Six Months": (continued) Kenpachi lifted his head from a good nap as he heard a door open somewhere around him. He cocked his head to the side, reaching to scratch his eyepatch, but remembering the chains that prevented that. “What a pain,” he snarked. “I rather liked that dream.” As the Pink-haired espada appeared in his line of vision with his meal, he grinned. “It sure beats this deadbeat hole with nothing to do but sit and be prodded at.” He reached for the leg of meat once it was pushed through, tearing into the tough skin. “But it’s not all bad,” he grumbled, mouth full. Szayel clicked his tongue in disapproval and pushed his glasses up. “Really now, your table manners never fail to impress me. With the way you tear into that meat, you remind me more and more of a monster.” He chuckled. “And here I thought it was Quinta’s usual whining when I heard about you. But each day, you prove me wrong again. How-“ he cut himself off as Kenpachi’s arm snatched at his lab coat and the fabric ripped, “interesting,” he finished. Frowning at the rip, he turned to the wall next to him. “You really do need to learn to keep your hards to yourself.” The espada pressed a button.
Kenpachi grunted as an electric surge pounded through his body, scrambling his mind and making his limbs all rubbery. He laughed. “Then don’t go getting close, Pinky,” he murmured. He leaned back against the wall and reached for his meat. “You’re still the enemy, even if you serve half decent chow.” Szayel huffed. “It’s going to take some time to tame you into something manageable.”
The one-eyed captain chuckled. He’d wait his chance. Fade

"Reunited Few":Kisuke and company appeared in the hall of the prison not far from Kenpachi’s cell. Adjusting his hat, Kisuke looked around and smirked. Kyoraku, Kensei and Sajin standing not to far from him as they as well looked around the hall for the enemy. “Hello, Goddess. It’s been a while.” “It’s been three days, Urahara. Have you slept since then?”Kisuke’s smirk turned to a grin. “Yoruichi would not allow that, but I did get a good nap after each time.” Sumi looked away, rolling her eyes and hands folding in front of her. “I do not need to hear about your extra curricular activates with your wife. Thank you. I get enough of that with Vale and Kita.”Kisuke chuckled slightly, his eyes narrowing. “I don’t like that thought.” He reached into his haori sleeve, lifting out a small glowing orb. The Hogyoku made for Kita and Kita alone. He extended his hand with the orb toward Sumi.

Taking the orb from the mans hand she looked at it. "You want me to give this to Kita." She looked to the man from the orb. "You know the second she commands it to waken it will be felt by everyone in Las Noches, correct?"
Kisuke nodded, "No one but you and Alister will be able to get close to her as long as she keeps this on her person."
Sumi looked to the Hogyoku once more. "What is she to do with this, Urahara?"
"Three things," Kisuke smirked adjusting his hat. "I want her to have the field drop around Kenpachi, make me and company invisible for at least a quarter the day, and to have all objects of restraint dropped from the captive."
Sumi nodded, "She can not do this in Tervaden's room. Not with her being at his side like he wants her to be."
Kisuke nodded his hand going to his hat as he looked down the hall. He looked back to her, "Is there anyway you can get her away from him?"
Sumi nodded, "There is going to be an assembly in the Throne room in less then an hour. Aizen is announcing that Kita has taken her place as his Queen..." Sumi was cut off at the Vizards outburst as she and Kisuke slowly looked his way.

"Wonderful." grunted Kensei. He shrugged his shoulders, working them in anticipation. "So, now he's really got her on his side. This is great, Urahara. Just great." A low growl came from across the room, causing Kensei to raised his fists.
"I hope you've got a plan. Because, it doesn't sound like this is going to be easy."

Sumi looked to the disgruntle man. "She is not on Aizen's side. Tervaden believes this is the safest place for her while she is here." She looked back to Kisuke. "Where he gets his crazy ideas I have no clue."
Kisuke shook his head looking at Kensei. "I know Kita is still with us. She would never turn against us like that." Looking back to Sumi he smirked. "Tervaden does have some crazy scheme in that head of his, but with Kita carrying his child I doubt he would put her in direct danger. I have to say I find this confusing myself."
Sumi sighed, "He is one man I can not learn to trust. I have seen too much from him that warrants this feeling, but he seems genuine with Kita and I do not know why." She looked to her hand with the orb. "He has protected her in ways not even Ichimaru has achieved."

The commander chuckled, tipping his hat. “I highly doubt the slippery Snake will appreciate hearing that.” He glanced towards Sajin and Kensei to gage their reaction. Kensei was wide-eyed with his great fists clenched and Sajin…. Shunsui wasn’t sure he had heard.
“Whatever you’re going to say, keep it quiet and civil,” he ordered in a gruff tone.
“Why the hell should I?!" Kensei growled back.
“Because you can save your theories and doubts after the mission. There isn’t time for that now. Unless you're looking forward to visiting the cells."
Flicking his hand, a bolt of kido snapped in front of the wolf man’s face. “Keep your mind on present, Komamura, or you’re going to get swallowed.”

Sajin's golden eyes narrowed at the Captain Commander. "I am aware of what is being said...Captain. I care nothing about your goddess and what has happened with her. I care nothing about retrieving your zanpakuto or Captain Zaraki. I am concerned for my wife."
"Let us worry about the task at hand, Komamura." said Kisuke. "We will get your wife when the time comes. But, for now, lets get through this."
Sajin growled lowly, turning his back to the group.

Kisuke sighed he understood the mans feelings and could relate fully. He looked back to the Goddess with a heavy sigh. "Take the Hogyoku to Kita and tell her what she needs to do with it. We will wait for the right time to move. If she has to do this in the Throne room then so be it, but tell her to make sure she is not all that close to either men when she uses it."
Sumi nodded as she faded into nothingness. "I will make sure she remains safe while using it. Nothing or no one will get close to her."
Kisuke nodded as he looked to the others once more. "Find a place to lay low until the cell is approachable." He looked to Sajin alone. "We will get her out. So don't go rogue and go off looking for her on your own." He walked past the mass of a man patting his arm. "We will get her back. Now find a hiding place and stay out of sight."

"He's nearly ten feet tall." aid Kensei. "Where's he going to hide?" He shook his head, his eyes spotting a dark space right before two walls met. He looked to the beast and back to Urahara.
"Urahara is right, Captain. We'll get her. But, let's get Kenpachi first, okay." He walked to the space and disappeared into the dark of the area.

Shunsui rubbed his chin and looked to Kisuke, their eyes meeting for a moment. Though they could emphasize with the captain’s plight, they had hoped being close to his wife would make him stronger. But the darkness of Las Noches was sapping it further. They were too far to turn their backs now, but they both hoped that fate smiled on their foolhardy plot.
Shunsui’s eyes narrowed. He himself would focus on the female captain. It could be a way to repay his people for NOT giving up on him.

Kisuke looked to his old friend with the new look in his eyes and on his face. "Don't do anything foolish, Kyoraku. We don't want to get caught. We get who and what we can get and pray we get a second chance to attack again." His hand clasp down on the Commanders shoulder.
"This was just to get Kenpachi and the zanpakuto's needed in this raid. We come back for the others when we have our army back up in arms. If we get lucky enough to free a few of captive that's a plus for us. If not we have to trust that Kita and the Goddess will keep them alive until we can return."

Shunsui’s nodded curtly. Though his eyes narrowed further as they continued down the dark hall.
The commander knew the plan and he knew the dangers of his focus, but the Gotei couldn’t afford this loss. Sajin was slipping away, even with his children by his side. He was one of a kind. They had nearly lost him in the war with the Quincies. It wasn’t just a selfish move because he didn’t like to see the pain on his face. Or hear the whimpers of the children.
Their side needed something special to endure the long wait without losing more of their spirit. Something more than regaining the second half of their souls. Or the crazy fire of the 10th captain. They needed a genuine sign that this would end.
No matter what.
His hand clenched.
His mind made up.

Kenpachi chuckled loudly as the group gathered at his cell. “What’s with the long faces here?” He grinned, putting together the grimness with the pink espada's crazy talk. “You know, if the Goddess is having more brats, and with Tervaden, it means more fun, doesn’t it? It’s something to rejoice about.”
He tilted his head the other way, bells twinkling on his hair, eye glowing. “But to more important things than yapping kids, I want more meat or a good battle. I get barely enough of one and have been a LONG time without the other. So if you don’t deliver, I might risk a shock to throttle,” his one eye roamed the group, “at least two of the strongest here….”

Kisuke looked to Kenpachi and smiled. "You just sit your ass down and wait for the right moment. When the collar releases you, you can throttle that cage you're in. It should be weak enough for you to bust through by then." Kenpachi smirked widely. "Sounds like enough to keep me interested." He leaned back against the wall. "For now. I wonder how fast it will take to rip limbs off without my trusted blade beside me?" Kisuke chuckled softly, "Just make sure you get your hands on the right bodies to rip and shred apart with those hands of yours." He stepped into the shadows. "Now wait. It should not be much longer." Kisuke grew silent as he leaned against the wall outside the cell in the shadows. Meanwhile: "Captive Enlightenment":

All waiting felt the weight of the barrier around Kenpachi's cell fall away, leaving the room a lot more breathable. The one-eyed warrior grinned like a fiend, stretched with a long groan, and ran at the bars. Falling back on his ass.
Kisuke blinked at him. "Was that the best you can do, big guy?"
Kenpachi chuckled. "I'm out of practice," he muttered. He smirked. "Let's try AGAAAAAAAINNNNN!" He slammed into the bars, blood spraying from a deep cut in his shoulder and laughed as the cell rattled. "You can't hold MEEEE!"
The bars held.
Kenpachi chuckled, shook his head, and ripped off his eyepatch releasing a slew of pressure and energy, making the walls around him groan. He turned around, faced a wall, and threw his fist into it. A shockwave bounced off, making the ears of those waiting pop.
"Hmmmm.... this is going to be a GOOD challenge."
Kenpachi laughed loudly. "Go on without me. I'll be right behind youuuuuuuuuu." He started slamming and ramming and punching into the dent on his wall, laughing and screaming a war call.
