Sajin appeared, Tenken in hand, growling beneath his breath. He looked to the growing group surrounding the human woman, Kita. The woman's wide eyes widened at the sight of him as she looked over him. "I am fine, my lady." Sajin brought his fist together and bowed.
"My humanization granted me an immortal shell." he admitted, dismissing the woman's worry. "I am unscathed. How may I help you?"
"Find anyone still breathing, and bring them to me."
Sajin bowed with a nod, before turning away from the group. He stopped, glancing over his shoulder. "What's happened, Urahara? Something seems...Unbalanced."
Kisuke shook his head, adjusting his hat as he looked up at the Captain. "Think of this unbalance as a sort of re-balancing of the realms. But, we will explain more when we have sorted through this mess."
Sajin nodded, shunpoing off to gather the wounded.

Still pushing and shoving things out of the way Kita turned to a large beam that had fallen from the ceiling. She stepped up to it trying to push it out of the way as it then was lifted quickly and with ease from where it laid. She looked to either end seeing two men lifting it up. She ducked down as they lifted it over her and the baby removing it from the room. She went back to cleaning as Sojiro walked in with his arms full of his first found bundle of blankets and sheets.
"Put them over there, Sweetie." Kita told him pointing to an already cleaned place in the room.
Sojiro nodded, "I found plenty in one of the back rooms. I will get the rest."
Kita looked to Suzume and Rukia as they walked into the room. "Rukia. I need you as a healer. Zuzu. Can you please go help Sojiro gather the blankets and sheets."
The two women nodded as Suzume followed Sojiro off, Rukia joining Kita in getting things set up as Sajin walked in with wounded over his shoulders and draped over his arms. Rukia quickly went to him, helping him with the men showing him where to let them to rest as she helped. When Rukia lay the last one down Sajin was gone again. Kita still cleared away and set up more beds for the others that would be coming in.

As more of the wounded were gathered before his wife, Kita dashed at the tears in her eyes, releasing another long sigh. She leaned down, but Gin stepped up to her and gathered her into his arms. For a moment, her body stiffened in resistance, but his arms tightened. “Breathe, dearest. You’re not healing another soul until you do.”
Kita huffed and did as asked, before falling against him and releasing a deep sob. “This isn’t fair… after everything….. this really isn’t fair….”
Gin kissed the top of her head. “Life isn’t. That’s why you seize what you can and don’t dwell on what you lost.”
“Like you’re one to talk about the latter.”
“I am actually.” Kita became silent. “Now that my head’s clear, I am.” He lowered his lips to her ear. “I’m a snake who swallows his favorites whole because life is full of broken things. And I hoard the few sweet things that have fallen in my path.” He took her ear in between his teeth. “And you’re still sweeter than any persimmon."
“Snakes don’t eat fruit…”
“This one does because it is a very old mask of old, lonely fox.” He pulled back and tipped her head up, vibrant eyes soft like the ripples of a lake. “Torn in two or not, you’re still my light, Kita. I’m not giving up. Neither are you. Grieve later. Fight now.”
He pulled back and looked to the wolf captain as he returned with more wounded, catching his eye. As the golden eyes narrowed down at him, the Snake grinned. "There's a lot of chaos around here and Ayakashi still roaming the area. Shall we two immortals go hunting while the pieces of our rabble are gathered?"

Sajin's eyes narrowed at Ichimaru. His lip curled as he growled at Ichimaru. He said nothing to the man as he laid the wounded to the makeshift bed. Remaining silent as he walked past the man again, Sajin left the room.
Once out of the room, Sajin slammed a fist into wall. Quickly gathering himself, Sajin went off to gather more of the wounded.

Post by Captain Kurotsuchi Mayuri on Mar 30, 2016 11:50:52 GMT -6
With his arms full of medical supplies, Mayuri walked into the room seeing everyone working hard at getting things in order for the wounded as the human woman Miyamoto headed it up. Making sure everything was in place and things were tended to as they came in the woman paused and looked his way.
“Captain Kurotsuchi, thank you so much for bring the medical supplies.” Kita took as much as she could from him as she walked over to a large table a couple of the men sat up for her to use for supplies, water and other odd and end things.
Mayuri followed as he looked around the room. “I can get you as much as you need, my dear.”
Kita turned and looked at him after placing her things down and helped him with what was in his arms. “Thank you we will need them.”
Once his arms where empty she touched his forearm gently as he looked on at the human woman. “Is there something else you need, my dear?”
Kita looked into his golden eyes. “Could I ask a favor of you?”
“Anything you need my dear Miyamoto. Anything at all.”
Kita blinked at his willingness to help not sure if she wanted to ask. Usually there was always a price added to his deeds of helping others. “Without a price?”
Mayuri was taken aback at her question. “My dear, I am appalled. Here I am willing to help wherever and however I can. I am not looking for anything in return.”
Kita lowered her head feeling bad at her question, but she knew it would not just be a concern of hers but the others he was tending to as well. “I apologize for my question Captain, but I need you as a healer and I don’t need the other worrying about you experimenting on them. I need a doctor right now. Not a mad Scientist. Could you please help us out in the field?”
Mayuri smiled at her his smile sincere and meaningful. “I will do my best, my dear Miyamoto.” He removed his haori and got to work as requested.

Kisuke walked up to Gin after Sajin walked away his hand clamping down on the Snakes shoulder. "If you want to go head hunting why don't you take the restless Shinji. You two make a good hunting force for Hollows." Kisuke looked to Sojiro as he walked back in the room.
"We are going to need to get to the villagers as well and we need a clean route, and if we need water the lake is the best place to get it." He looked back to Gin. "Gather a few able bodies and you and Shinji go have fun."
“He can take me instead,” Hiyori muttered, dragging the Vizard captain with her. The vizard’s body was twitching madly and half of his face had turned into a mass of blistering cuts and bubbling hollow bone A macabre grin stuck on his face. Saragaki dropped him. “My guess is he slipped past the mass of clones and went hunting for the master, or Teruo did his own hunting. He tore the mask off again. And this time, even with the hollow side struggling to get free, I can't get a reaction from him."
She folded her arms, scowling. "Haven't you figured out how to get rid of that bastard yet, useless shopkeeper?"
A fan appeared thumping the girl on the head. "Mind your own and leave me to mine, girly. If you want to go then go. Leave the Captain for Kita or myself to tend to." Kisuke walked over to Shinji and looked at the damage done from the mask removal. He shook his head looking to Kita.
"He will live, but I think this one is going to leave a scar on his pretty face." Shinji shot up as Kisuke slammed him back in place with his hand to the top of his head. "Stay put or I will let Mayuri do the tending to your pretty face."

Gin tripped the small vizard before she could comment further. “Questions later, porcupine.”
“I’ve warned you about calling me that, you sleazy Snake!”
Gin smirked. “And I told you that I will call you what I want until you can hit me. You’ve got a good chance when I am hunting and busy.”
Saragaki growled. “You get on my nerves.”
Gin chuckled, drawing Shinsou and letting his edge glitter in the stark sunlight.
“Be careful, Dad.”
Gin smirked down at his son. “You’re the one who has the harder job.” Sojiro blinked. Gin’s eyes turned to KIta working behind him. “She’s on auto-pilot. It’s your job to watch for her needs as well as keep an eye on your brother.” When Sojiro nodded, he looked to the shopkeeper, eyes narrowing, telling him to keep them safe.
Kisuke adjusted his hat, adding his own order. To keep his scrawny ass alive.
His eyes flickered before Gin vanished, Saragaki following.

Sojiro squared his shoulders. He hated being in the open, with all this destruction around him, and not being able to stop his mother's tears. He didn't like just waiting. Then, there was the whispering, wondering if he was there to help or make it worse. That was probably because of his father. But it was the first time he had heard it. Even indirectly. Sojiro dropped his last load of blankets on a clean section of the ground. "Shall I go get water next?" he asked.

Isshin staggered up behind the silver haired boy his hand going to the boys head as he ruffled his hair. "By the Gods you have grown! Look at you!"
Sojiro turned and looked at Isshin. The man wore a wide goofy grin a bad gash above his eye where he stood in place he weaved to and fro. Bobbing back and forth.
"For a minute there I thought you were your father and shrunk." He laughed softly. He then looked around the room.
Sojiro grabbed him as Isshin staggered forward almost falling to the floor. "You're hurt Dr. Kurosaki." One arm around the mans torso the other hand pressed against his chest to keep him up right. "MOM HELP!!"
Isshin looked to Sojiro and smiled wide again. "Your mom is here?!"

Kita's heart skipped a beat hearing Sojiro's panicked tone. She looked over at Sojiro with his yelling for her as she watched Isshin try to stand from the chair Sojiro was trying to keep him in. She quickly made a path to her son and the injured Isshin. Once in front of him Kita knelled down in front of him and looked at his injury.
"Isshin. You took a pretty bad blow to the head here." As she looked at him Mayuri walked over and lifted his head shining a small light into one eyes then another.
"Get him over here boy." Mayuri told him.
Kita helped Sojiro get Isshin to his feet as they walked him over and laid him to a makeshift bed. Kita looked up hearing Sajin call out for her. She looked back to Mayuri. "Can you take care of him?"
Mayuri nodded as Kita rushed off toward the towering man in the crowed of the wounded. Some reaching out to grab and touch Kita as she brushed past them asking or begging for her help. One man grabbed her jerking her back to him.
"Save my wife she is dying! Please you have to save her Goddess! Please!"
She looked at the man in the Soul Reaper uniform as he held tight to his wife's hand. She looked back to the woman laying there one arm missing and a gaping hole in her chest. She closed her eyes and laid a hand to her as a hand rested to her shoulder. She looked quickly over her shoulder to see Tessai smiling down at her.
"Go to Sajin. I will take care of her."
Kita smiled brightly in seeing Tessai and nodded as she quickly got up and rushed off toward Sajin. Her eyes following him into another room as she saw long white hair flowing behind him. Her heart skipped a beat. It was Juushiro. He had been injured.

The smiling captain was covered in blood, one arm limp at his side as he replied to the man keeping him propped up. “I told you, Sajin. You can worry about others,” he stated in a calm tone. “It’s only a-” A sudden, hacking cough ripped from his body, forcing him into a fetal position, “a broken arm and - and an unfortunate cough,” he insisted through a ragged voice, thick with phlegm. He sat up, more warm blood sticking to his chest and throat. “Really,” he chuckled, seeing a pale Kita in the doorway, “I am not the one that matters here,” he whispered, closing vibrant eyes trembling in pain. "I just had a small attack."

As the masses scurried about, tending to one another and gathering supplies, Teruo waited in hiding. He grinned in the darkness of his hold. Poison dripped from his fangs, as piercing eyes stared out from behind him.
Captains. Lieutenants. Substitute. His Masters. Espada. Ayakashi. Near perfect replicas of each, and their powers, stood behind him. Teruo stretched out his long clawed hand, poison dripping from the ends of his nails.
Stepping forth, was the replica of the Seventh Espada. The beast transitioned into the Seventh's secondary form. It stretched out its wings as small white birds took off from beneath its feathers. They flew toward the mass of people. The lavender eyes of the Seventh's double glowed as it began to whistle.
As the birds drew closer to the group, the Seventh's replica stopped its whistling. The ground shook as the small birds exploded in a magnificent blaze of blue fire. Soot and fire rained down on the group as Teruo stepped forward.
"Kill them ALL!"

The ground shook under her feet as the first bomb exploded she looked to Juushiro and grabbed at the nearest thing to help keep her on her feet as another explosion shook the area. Kita panicked and ran out looking for Sojiro seeing him still at Isshin's side. She dropped to her knees holding Kadaj in one arm covering Sojiro with her body as the ceiling started to fall down around them. Screams sounded around them the bustling of bodies moving about as they tried to get out of the hideout.
When the ground stopped shaking, Kita stood with Sojiro's hand in hers as she screamed out at all the ones trying to get out. "NOBODY MOVE!! STAY PUT!!" Her shield came up stopping the ceiling from falling any further. Kita handing Kadaj to Sojiro her eyes begging him to keep him safe.
"Go to Juushiro. GO!"
"MOM! NO!! I AM NOT LEAVING YOU! I PROMISED DAD I WOULD TAKE CARE OF YOU!!" Sojiro yelled at her holding his little brother close.
Kita's head shook at her eldest sons claim as she heard Tessai's gruff voice rattling off a chant to help keep her shield stable and strong. She looked back to her son's a tear trickling down her cheek.

The Snake’s brilliant eyes gleamed as his wife’s shield rose up, followed by the red energy of Benihime. It would hold the hideout for now. It would keep the escapees secure. He only hoped Saragaki was quick enough. He didn’t have time to check. And this close to a battle, he didn’t really care. His eyes turned crimson. “You’ve been king of the rock or the mob long enough, and I really don’t like someone else being called Demon. Bankai.”
A streak of sliver flew through the wave of clones, tearing at the ground and chipping at the giant hoard. The clones started to bubble and reform. Hissing, Gin shunpo’ed to another location, rolling as two more bird bombs went off nearby and bolts of kido flew towards his location. Damn clones.
Letting the bloodlust and instinct lead him on, Gin leapt, tossing Kisuke’s own brand of bombs into the center of the mass. Even as a certain whip wrapped around his neck, the thorns digging into his windpipe. Gin gritted his teeth, and as the formula froze the slower ones, he rolled down, bringing his opponent over his head into the others,
Gin lashed out with Shinsou. The whip loosened and infernal Ayakashi was gone. He thrust Shinsou into a lieutenant’s face. “Die already!” he snarled.
But the group was reforming. Again. Gin crouched, twisting his blade to reveal the hole in the center. “Koruse, Kamishini no Yari.” At least a dozen of their enemy burst into black blobs as Shinsou tore into the enemies from the inside out. For a moment. Inwardly cursing at the rate regeneration, Gin danced back as a blob with a blade slashed at his arm. Seizing the arm, he blasted the face with kido.
Before throwing up a cloud of red smoke.
He hissed a expletive as a large arm reached out and grabbed the collar of his kimono, a clone of the commander. He grinned fiendishly even as the man slammed a punch into his stomach, making something inside him crack. “Woops~” Gnashing his teeth, blood slipping from his mouth, Gin sliced at his eye and kicked himself free. A silver kitsune appearing in front of him and taking the slash just in time.
Gin ripped up the ground again with Shinsou, splitting it into a chasm, and vanished in the chaos.

Koga's clone appeared before the slithering former Captain. It cocked it's head to the side as it screeched and swiped at the man with one of its massive talons. Ichimaru shunpo'd to dodge the talon only to have the massive blade of the wolf Captain come down next to him.
Tenken struck the ground, shaking the Earth as the wolf's clone growled loudly. Sajin thrust his palm forward, using only his spiritual pressure to drive Ichimaru backward.
An arrow struck the back of the snake like Shinigami, as he steadied himself after the wolf's attack. Methuselah's clone released another arrow, this one being block as Shinsou rang out toward him. The fast moving blade split the clone in half. But, not before another arrow was released. The arrow peirced the Shinigami's body, nearly tearing his arm from his body.
"Is that all you've got for me, Gin Ichimaru? Is there nothing more?"
Gin clutched his arm, grinning as blood poured down his side. "Just let me know where you are, dearie~. And, I will walk you to death's door." Gin spun around, his near severed arm flailing as he spun. Shinsou ripped through the air tearing through clones of Lieutenants Abarai and Hisagi.
Shibungoretsu cracked on the air, wrapping around the hanging arm of the Shinigami. Twisting the handle of the whip, Kagawa released his barbs into the man's flesh once more. A quick yank of Shibungoretsu pulled the Shinigami's arm from his body. But, not before the Shinigami grabbed his blade with his other hand.
