"That reminds me," Gary reached to the inside of his jacket and lifted out a violet colored envelope and handed it to Kita. "This is for you, Kitten."
Watching her, still, flinch slightly to the pet name he gave years before he smiled extending his hand with the envelope in it as she took his gift carefully from his hand. "Just a little something from me, to you, on your birthday. I do hope you like it."
"What is it mom?" Sojiro asked her bounding up next to his mother.
He was waiting for Evita to join in to see what it was as well, but when there was no movement or sound from her he looked to the bench were she should have been sitting. She was gone. Yet again. He turned looking behind him thinking she might be trying to do the same stunt, again, that she did with Kita, but when he turned he saw nothing. His eyes then looked across the park.
There, Orihime and Ichigo were standing with little Evita handing her an ice cream. He smiled turning back to Kita and Sojiro as Sojiro was urging her to open it.

Soji watched as his mother opened the envelope to reveal some colorful pieces of paper. Holding them up, he grinned, seeing the name of the new Studio Ghibli movie on the pages.
Kita smiled. They were tickets to the first showing. “Thank you, Mr. Faux. I am sure I will use them.” A moment later, she frowned, seeing there were three, not two. She thumbed through them and found a small gift card to the Sushi Paradise, for three free meals. She chuckled shortly, disguising her wave of sadness with a smile, as she was reminded of her dream of spending the night out with her son and Gin.
“May I ask who the third ticket is for, Mr. Faux? Am I taking little Evita out as well?”
Gary pushed his glasses up with a wide smirk. “You can, if you want, but it’s for that young man I hear you call Tsukiro,” he murmured. “You make such a smart couple and Sojiro likes spending time with him.”
Sojiro looked from him to his mother, noticing her mood falling. "Thank you, Gary," he called out and then, he hugged her. "Come on, Mom, you know Tsukiro will enjoy the show. He likes things like this." He looked down at the tickets again and pulled out the gift certificate. "But he will eat all the sushi. Let's go with someone else here."

Kita giggled in spite of herself with what Sojiro said about Tsukiro and eating all the food. "That he probable would." She giggled again remembering how Tsukiro's appetite is. She looked to Mr. Faux stepping up to him and gave him a hug.
"Thank you, Mr. Faux. That was very sweet of you." She stepped back from the hug as Sojiro handed her back the envelope.

"It was the least I could do for all the headaches I have caused you over the past years." Gary told her as he looked to Sojiro and chuckled. "Our games have brought you to the park twice a week for the last three years."
Kita thanked him again with a soft peek to his cheek. After a short pause he sat his hand to Sojiro's shoulder and patted it lightly. "Well you and your mother had better be leaving. Tessai wouldn't like you being late for dinner."

Soji grinned. “Not unless we want to do dishes,” he replied, making a face. He leaped and hugged his chess partner. “Thank you, Gary. I’ll make sure Mom doesn’t forget. And I will beat you next week.”
He turned as the other family joined them and pointed at Evita.
"I'll beat you, too!"

Evita licked at her chocolate-vanilla Swirlie with a smirk. "Maybe I don't want to."
"You're always watching us!"
She shrugged. "If I win, you owe me a Swirlie."
"If I win, I get your blocks! For a day!" Soji called back.
Evita's eyes narrowed, hooked. "Deal." She turned to Gary. "We play first next time."

Gary chuckled at Sojiro giving him a nod. "I look forward to that day then." He ruffled his hair than Evita's next. "Stop giving your Aunt, scares and behave yourself." Gary chuckled again as Evita wrinkled her nose and stuck out her tongue.
He then turned and started his walk home. "You folks have a wonderful night and Happy Birthday again, Kitten." He waved over his shoulder not looking back, but he knew every muscle in Kita's body tensed from her nick name.

“Thank you again, Mr. Faux,” Ichigo called out to him as he walked out. He looked down to Evita. “I thought you were going to behave if I gave you ice cream afterwards.”
Evita tilted her head. “I did. I didn’t run off. Aunt Kita was reading and I moved.”
Ichigo shook his head and chuckled. “You’re a tricky little monster, aren’t you?”
She smirked. “Monsters aren’t bad things. They’re misunderstood. Like your monster.”
Ichigo scratched his head and looked to his giggling girlfriend. Reaching into the bag of ice cream for her apartment, he wiped some chocolate from her neck, making her blush. “Missed some~”

Inoue blushed deeply, looking as Ichigo licked the chocolate from his lips. "I...I think it's time to say good bye, Evita." She turned to Sojiro and stuck out her tongue. "Take care of the birthday girl, handsome."
"Hey!" exclaimed Ichigo, nearly dropping his ice cream.
"Hey! You're handsome too." replied Inoue, putting a hand to Evita shoulder and nudging her along. "Bye you too."

Kita giggled shaking her head at the two men in the group as the younger one was blushing the older one trying to get his share of the recognition. As she and Sojiro said their good byes as well they turned and walked the other direction headed to the shop. The two walked a bit in silence as Kita looked to Sojiro. His eyes were straight ahead and there was something on his mind.
Resting a gentle hand to her sons shoulder as they walked Kita spoke up.
"Are you still thinking of the birthday present and how to get me to change my mind?"

Soji stopped and turned around, facing his mom with a serious look. “I don’t want Dad to be alone. I will keep Ichimaru for him. I will be light and make you proud. BUT,” he paused, shaking his finger, “Mom needs to smile.” He hugged her. “I want Mom to smile. Forever. If you're not alone, you smile."
As Kita embraced him, he frowned slightly. “So can Miya-moto be a middle name? Can it?”

Kita pulling back from the embrace and smiled brightly at her boy. "It can't be a middle name, but you can take it a second last name, if, you want it that badly we can make it happen." Sojiro's eyes lit up as he looked to his mother.
"Sojiro Miyamoto Ichimaru," Kita said to no one in particular as she looked into her sons eye. "Is that what you want? Will that make my boy happy?"

"I like it!" Sojiro jumped on the tips of his shoes. “Can I? Will Mom be happy forever?" he asked, excited and unable to stay still.
Kita giggled softly at his excitement brushing his bangs from his eyes. "I am always happy, Sojiro. As long as I have you and your father. I will always be happy. I am sorry I don't smile as much as you would like me to, but if you ever see me not smiling," she poked him in the tummy with her finger as he giggled and wiggled. "Just give me a poke and tell me to smile." She told him playfully.
Soji laughed and attacked his mom again. "Tickle Mom, Tickle Mom!" he cried out, falling over on the grass as his mom ran behind the bench. "Mom is scared," he declared, pointing at her and getting back up. "I will make Mom smile forever, me, Sojiro Miyamoto Ichimaru!" He ran towards her and started to chase her around the trees, poking her when she let him get closer. At one pass, she dropped a ticket and he stopped chasing her to crawl under the bush to get it. "Mom, you're dropping things!"
As she giggled and took the ticket, Soji pointed at her again. "I make you happy. More than Kenji-baka!"

Kita swept Sojiro up in her arms giving him a big kiss on the cheek. "You are my light. My love. My heart, soul and life. And above all. You are the happiness that makes me smile from day break into my dreams, back to the brake of day." She looked into Sojiro's eyes and smiled brightly.
"You and your father are everything to me. I could lose everything else and still have you and your father and be happy." She brushed his bangs from his eyes again. "But if I were to ever lose you two..." a sadness filled her eyes as she kissed his forehead tenderly. "Life to me would be over.""Don't cry, mooom." Sojiro told her cupping her cheeks with his little hands. "I'm not going anywhere. Never. It will always be me and mom."Kita giggled softly letting him slide down her hip and rest to his feet gently. Kissing his forehead again she gave him a bright smile. "I love you, Sojiro."Sojiro returned her smile taking her hand in his. "I love you too, mom."Kita then turned them as they started walking back toward the shop once more. As they walked she looked over to her son as he looked up at her and smiled himself. "Thank you for your very thoughtful gift, Sojiro."
His smile grew wider as he squeezed her hand gently in his. The two making their way home with light conversation between them.

"Bold Blood; Cat's Luck":Kenji strolled into the park, dusting granola off the front of his shirt and chin. He carried his zanpakuto on his back, covered by a large book bag. He had sneaked out of the shop and headed to the park, after hearing the conversation a few nights ago. With everyone's tempers still on edge, he wanted to see if what they were saying was true. Is the old man really Aizen?
He walked over and sat at Sojiro's normal table and waited for the old man. Waiting for Aizen...
