"Listen, you pompous ass little fucker." Vale flash stepped to within an inch of Szayel and drew his blade placing it at Szayel's throat. "I have work to do. And, I can't do it with a blind eye." He lifted his hair from his face revealing his blinded eye. "Now, fix it."

Szayel laughed and pushed Vale's blade away, such language. "Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" He brushed around him nonchalantly waving a hand at his side. "Why didn't you let the Seraph heal you? She did a wonderful job with the rest of you."
He turned quickly and looked at Vale a wide smirk across his lips as he patted the lab table next to him. "What's in it for me, Vale Tervaden. That is if I do decide to fix your eye?"

"You get to live, Octava," Vale replied. "The longer you draw this out, the longer you keep Aizen waiting." Vale looked to the smirking Espada. "Now, I'm not in the mood for your fuckery. Fix it."

"Oooh, so this comes from Lord Aizen. Well then we must not keep him waiting." Szayel stepped back from the lab table and gestured for Vale to take a seat. While Vale was placing himself to the table Szayel walked over to his desk.
"Lay down. This should only take a moment."

"Perfection take time Old man." Szayel placed his hand to his shoulder and led him down to the table. Once Vale was laying on the table Szayel pushed up the sleeve on his jacket past the bend of his arm and prepared him for an injection. Szayel uncapped the syringe and stuck the needle deep under the skin. Vale grunted with the prick of the needle and looked to Szayel.
"What the hell was that for?"
Szayel grinned. "To knock your belligerent ass out."
Vale went to grab Szayel as he he stepped back causing Vale to fall off the table face first on the floor. "You bastard!" Vale growled pushing himself up.
Szayel only smirked as he looked to the man on the floor. "One... Two..." Vale tried to get up from his position on the floor. "Three... Four..." Vale stumbled and fell again. "Five." Szayel sighed and pushed up his glasses. "Some people just don't get it." He turned and called out. "Lumina and Verona assistance please."
The two entered and looked to the man on the floor. "Master master what will you have us do with him do with him." The two chimed in unison.
Szayel stepped away with the wave of a hand. "Put him back on the table so I can fix his eye as he requested. Then you may go back to your droll little existence." He walked back over to his desk as they did as he asked then disappeared from the lab once more.
Szayel then approached the lab table once more and got to work on the soul reaper as he requested to fix his eye.

Vale woke up several hours later with a slight headache. He clinched the sides of the table as he sat up. "Szayel? What the fuck did you do to me?" "I did what you asked, you dimwitted fool." said Szayel sitting at his desk. Vale ran his hands across the bandages that covered his eye. "Don't test my patience, Octava." Vale snatched off the bandages as Szayel yelled at him to keep them on. "Shut up, you nagging bitch!" shouted Vale. He slid off the table and walked towards the exit and out of the room. Moved

"Tea for Three?!":
Szayel tinkered around in his lab until the kettle sounded alerting him the water was ready for tea. He walked over re-leaving the burner of the pot as the whistle slowly calmed and was silent once more. He slowly and carefully poured him a cup setting it and an extra cup on the small table behind him. He took a seat picking up one of the cookies there on the plate and bit into it.
"I wonder how long it will take her to realize she is not safe out there." He tilted his head, a sly smirk crossed his lips. "Maybe I should send one of fraccion's out to scare her this way." He chuckled manically. "How rude of me to think such a thing." He chuckled softly, when in hearing the door to the lab open he became quiet once more.

Yumiko walked in quietly, arms wrapped around herself to ward away the chill of her goose-bumped body. If Vale hadn’t done that, she could have found a place to hide herself in the garden. Not visit the scientist who had altered with her mind on more than one occasion. Szayel rose with a grin. “Welcome back, Hime,” he greeted then chuckled at she sneezed again. “I think I better get you some tea before you catch something. Wouldn’t that displease our Lord?” He returned to the counter and poured another cup and before sitting down in his chair again. As she remained quiet, he chuckled again. “I won’t bite, Hime. You should know that.”
Yumiko lifted her head from her cup of tea. “That only stands as long as Aizen says it does,” she murmured.
The scientist chuckled darkly, pushing his glasses up. “Very true, Hime, but then again, why should you worry about something you have no control over? Believe me, if I were charged with something, you would already be out on the table now.”
Yumiko stiffened and glared. “I am not powerless without Mizue.”
“That is true also,” Szayel stated, “but you miss the point, or perhaps I was elaborating too much.” He chuckled. “Let me start again. You’re as safe here now as you would be in your tower.”
Yumiko didn’t think that needed a reply and sipped her tea.

Koga silently slipped into Szayel's laboratory, his hands behind his back and his gait near a prance. "He nearly killed him, Vale Tervaden and Gin Ichimaru."
Yumiko turned his way quickly, her eyes slightly widened. "Who?"
"Nearly died? Speak in complete sentencees, Ryouma. And, Vale Tervaden. It seems he has grown in strength. A fact, that has not gone unseen." Koga raised his hand and examined his fingernails. "His sudden interest in you hasn't gone unseen either."

Yumiko frowned slightly in confusion. “Wait, you’re not speaking clearly either, Koga.” She said his phrases to herself and then suddenly rose from her chair. “Wait, you mean Vale nearly killed Ichimaru?”
Koga tilted his head. “Didn’t I say that? Vale won the match, but it seems that it was not the snake’s fate to die there, even with as much as Tervaden wanted it to be.”
Yumiko paled. “Is - is Kita safe?” she asked finally.

Koga gave a chuckle as he straightened his gaze. "Safety will always be an issue with her. She is drawn to a man who holds her heart - Not out of love but claim. She is his pet, after all." He glanced at Szayel and gave a slight nod. "His heart has always bled black. She is merely the light he wishes to see in himself. This awkward state of confusion is merely a guise for his love of death. Quite similar to the rose you tucked away in the Octava's garden."

Yumiko’s eyes narrowed. “You’re not always right, Koga,” she said evenly. “You were wrong about Soul Society’s view on me when Vale’s zanpakuto was captured. You could be wrong about Ichimaru.” She took a long sip of tea to calm any rage or fear. She closed her eyes.
He was wrong.

Szayel snickered reaching across the table and patted Yumiko's hand softly then sat back to his chair again. "The Snake is not one to die easily, Hime. I have know Ichimaru far too long to think a rogue like Tervaden could do away with him so easily."
He sipped at his tea and looked to Koga. Lowering his cup he raised a brow as he pushed up his glasses. "Did you stop by just to gloat about your premonitions, Koga, or was there a greater purpose behind your visit?"

Koga gave a slight smile and turned from the Octava and Yumiko. "It serves no other purpose, Octava. I have other matters to attend to. Thanks to Lieutenant Ise and Kita Miyamoto, the Cero Espada is buried beneath the rubble of the Fifth Tower." He glanced over his shoulder. "Do not worry, Ryouma. He will be in working order, soon enough." He examined his fingernails as he made his exit from the laboratory.
