"I knew, I just wasn't sure when you would be showing up." Allura tried to keep her tone pleasant as she looked from Sayoko to the guard behind her and still managed to keep her smile despite the fact that the guards still made her tense.
She stepped out of the way to allow her into the room, "Just set your stuff wherever."

“Well, I’ll leave you two to it,” the guard called out, before he started to walk away. “Play nice, ladies. We don’t have time to deal with a fight.”
Sayoko waited for him to disappear and then picked up her box. “Which is my room? I’m tired of hauling this.”
Allura stepped out of the way and pointed to the back past the living room and kitchenette. “The bedrooms are back there. The bathroom is in between. I’m on the right.”
Sayoko nodded curtly. “Fine. Stay out of my space.”

Allura nodded back, still holding her smile, "As long as you stay out of my space and respect my boundaries. I won't be any issue." She shut the door after Sayoko had walked in and locked it then went back to the couch without another word.
She watched Sayoko for a moment then went back to flipping through the pages of her book and copying things down that she would need to remember later on. She figured Sayoko would probably be better off left alone right now and didn't really have anything to say from there.

After a while, she heard the bathroom door close and the shower turn on. And when Sayoko exited, she was wrapped in a beautiful white kimono, hair spilling around her face. Arms folded around her to keep the large kimono in place, she walked towards her room and then came out carrying a bag of food stuffs.
She pulled out a loaf of bread. “Where’s the bread go?”
“Down to your left,” her roommate replied. “Need help?” she asked.
Sayoko rolled her eyes. “I’m fine.”
“Oh, okay,” she murmured.
Sayoko rolled her eyes again and finished putting the food away. Then she came over to the couch with a bag in hand. She grabbed a cinnamon roll from it and started eating it, looking to the outdoors. “Eat the other one. It won’t keep.”

Allura glanced to her then the bag before taking the cinnamon roll. "Thank you." Her voice came out softer than she intended but she knew Sayoko had heard her. She then began eating the cinnamon roll and went back to writing notes.
A few quiet moments past when Allura mumbled under her breath, "Dammit, Nakane. Get it together." She then quickly scratched something out and went back to her writing.

Sayoko continued to eat her cinnamon roll in the silence and then walked over to the kitchen, tossing the bag away. She returned to the couch with a plain piece of bread and started to munch on it, moving between watching the twitching actions of her new roommate and the stillness of the outdoors. Allura eventually gave up on her notes. With a sigh she shut the notebook and tossed her pen to the table. It was only then she realized the heavy silence in the room and shook her head. Well isn't this a comfortable silence.
"If you're that upset by the notes, then stop studying," Sayoko muttered.

Allura shrugged, "I'm not upset, just annoyed because I'm getting things mixed up." She paused for a second then continued speaking, "Also it's not like I have anything better to do since this lock down started."
Given she would probably still be in her dorm, but she disliked that it felt more like a prison than an option for comfort.

Sayoko huffed. She couldn’t help but agree with that notion, but she wasn’t going to say it aloud. Her arms tightened around herself as the chill of the shower finally started to get to her. She sighed. “I’m going to bed. Like you said, there’s nothing better to do.”
She rose from the couch, fixing the kimono she wore wrapped around herself.
She’d been awake long enough to keep the bad things away when she closed her eyes, too.
"Night, Red," she mumbled.

Allura's eye twitched some at the nickname she hadn't heard since she was a child. She took a breath and nodded to Sayoko, "Alright. Have a good rest."
After Sayoko had went into her room Allura laid back on the couch and closed her eyes. A wave of relief washed over her and she mumbled softly, "At least we don't hate each other yet." But only time would tell exactly how well the new roommates got along, she prayed that it was better than that of her and Makino

"Whiplash from Hell": Sayoko kicked the door in and then slammed it shut, leaning against it. This was her base for now. She had no choice, but she wasn’t going to be caught in the open any longer than she had been. Her hand rose to her sore shoulder where the embedded needle dragged at her muscle.
It had been half a day.
Half a fucking day since she’d left that alley and ran.
And she didn’t know the details of what had happened.
Did the girl get somewhere safe? She didn’t know. Did she kill the hound?
No!
Growling. she kicked at the door and turned away. Allura was stirring on the couch. Face scrunching up in a scowl, Sayoko yanked at the shreds of her kimono she’d used to keep the some of the bleeding down in the interim between the fight and now and flung them to the ground. She wrenched her shirt off.
She had to get the needles out. They were the reason she lost control.
“Stay out of the bathroom!” she spat.
Before her roommate could holler back, she’d opened and slammed that door, turning around and grasping the sink. The cut on her cheek stung. “Fucking Assholes!” she snapped, turning the water on and grabbing a towel. Steaming water ran over her hands. She didn’t feel it.
Didn’t really see anything until she started scratching at the mark with the towel and blood started leaking into the bowl.
Her dark blue eyes sparked with violence as she hissed a mantra between her teeth. “I won’t be caught. I won’t be weak. I won’t cry.” She pulled the cloth away, looking at the irritated skin. “I can not die.”
She threw the towel away and grabbed another, this time holding it to her cheek, her free hand reaching blindly for the needle in her shoulder.

Allura sat there a bit confused on what had just happened, after her roommate had slammed the door he let a few seconds pass then stood and walked over to collect the scraps of cloth Sayoko had thrown to the ground. She froze up some when she touched the first cloth, realizing there was blood on it. She quickly threw out the scraps that were on the floor, worrying about the spots later she want to the bathroom.
She heard Sayoko's yelling within and took a breath. Knowing full well that the anger would probably be turned to her, she lifted her hand and knocked gently, "Sayoko? I have some stuff to clean wounds in my room. I can get it for you."

“Stay out!” Sayoko growled, eyes narrowed in fury as her fingers slipped with the bloody needle. She pounded the mirror with her hand. "I mean it!"
“I’m not coming in,” Allura murmured, keeping her voice low.
Sayoko leaned against the wall and then turned her head, getting her teeth around the needle in her arm. She yanked and spat. The needle rolled, painting the floor with blood. A bloody handprint on the mirror leached more color from her vision.
She gritted her teeth and dug into the wound on her shoulder once again. To get rid of the mark.
Her vision cleared.
“Leave it at the door and leave me alone!”
Sayoko glared at her reflection, eyes locked on top part of a scar just visible below her shift, the curve of a rope like burn.

Allura sighed to herself, thankful the reaction was better than what she expected. She quickly left and dug through her room, eventually finding the box she was looking for. After making sure everything was in it she set it outside the bathroom door and knocked.
"I'll be in the living room if you need anything." With that she turned away from the door and went to clean up the spots of blood that left somewhat of a trail to the bathroom. As she wiped away the blood her mind thought of a thousand questions, but knew it was better to not bother asking.

Sayoko waited for her roommate’s footsteps to recede. Then she glared at her reflection, ran over, snatched the box, and then sat on a corner with it in her lap. Her shoulder throbbed.
Though the snickering echoing in her head was worse. She shoved her hands into her hair and snarled. She started her mantra again. and again.
And a third time.
The voices and the flashes faded from her mind.
She flipped the box open, looked quickly and then turned it upside down. She rummaged through the implements with bloody hands. Biting her lip to keep the memories back yet again.
Finding what she needed, she sprang up and turned her back to the mirror. Craning her neck and looking over her shoulder, she reached up slowly for the shiny point in the bloody gash she had created on her shoulder with a pair of tweezers.
A flash of pain radiated down her arm and another trickle of blood ran down her back. Eyes fading to glass, she turned away and felt around with the tool. Until she got a grip. Pulling it out and spraying blood along the wall.
Red, red, Red.
Blood.
Laughter.
Sayoko ripped off her ruined shift and stared mercilessly into her own face. “I’ll not be beaten.”
She would not look lower.
An ivory-skinned woman with smeared blood across her face and between her breasts stared back at her. Three long scratches stood out on one arm as punctures and bruises decorated the other arm. Blood dripped from her lips and her eyes blinked back. Dark and glass like a marionette’s. Her ebony hair cascaded behind like a veil of silk.
A shadow formed behind her.
Sayoko’s fist broke the mirror.
.....
White noise filled the spaces before Sayoko. Her throat ached.
She breathed in deeply and finished stripping. Shuffling past the shimmering dusting of glass, she walked into the shower and turned the water on. Breathing in the steam. Dead eyes on the blood trail slipping away beneath her.

Allura had went to the kitchen and grabbed a piece of fruit, she then decided it was best to probably go to her room for now so Sayoko could have her peace. As she was walking past she heard a scream then the mirror shatter which caused her to jump.
A look of worry returned to the redhead's face, but she only looked to the door then went into her room, deciding that, if anything, she would ask tomorrow what happened. As she sat on her bed, Allura's mind started to whirl with thoughts on what exactly did happen, but nothing was sticking until suddenly something caused her thoughts to pause.
Did Sayoko have needles in her?
Allura ended up biting into her lip when trying to chew and swore softly, "Could it have been...." Her soft words trailed off as the thought of the four men Makino and she had encountered came into her mind and she closed her eyes, trying to shake the thoughts away. "I'm sure it wasn't..." Despite her outward denial, internally Allura felt she knew the truth, but refused to accept it.
