"Enraged Daughter":Aizen had just entered the throne room when he felt the fluctuating reiatsu of his daughter. Soon he could hear the click of her heels on the marble floor as she drew closer to the throne room. The doors then burst open as Aizen watched his daughter storm toward him. "Did training not go so well with Yumiko?"

Azayaka scoffed and started pacing in front of the throne. "It was a nightmare." She huffed, shaking her head as she paced. "Kita is a nightmare. She's starting to become more of a problem than she is a means to an end. Forgive me, Father, but I am beginning to wonder if she's worth it. She can't even look at someone without attacking them now that she has the power to. And even then, one little swipe and she passes out with blood gushing from her face. Even worse, she seems to think that being Ichimaru's pet give her immunity. She's using him as a shield. And as much as I like the sound of that, she's beginning to act like she's above being used and punished. She need to be reminded of her place."

Aizen could not help but chuckle at his daughter. "What is the real reason for your anger, Azayaka? Yes, Kita is human, but you have to be very aware that the soul that resides in her is far more superior than even I. Not a fact that I like to admit, out loud or even to myself."
He stood and walked toward her. "Kita will gain control of the seraph's powers and then we can make our move to control the realms." He stopped in front of Azayaka and cupped her cheek. "Tell me, what would you do if you were in my place?"

Azayaka took his hand in hers, looking down at it as she pondered that. Then she looked up at him.
"I would dangle Kita and Ichimaru in front of each other like bait. Ichimaru cannot be trusted and Kita is too disobedient. On top of that, they care for each other dearly. Use them against each other as ultimatums. If Kita steps out of line, I would do my worse to Ichimaru until she behaves and does what is expected of her. If Ichimaru steps out of line or betrays you, I would make Kita wish she were dead until he starts thinking twice about double crossing you. He does not run Las Noches. He can be thrown to the dogs just as well. If the Espada were stronger, he would be dead already. Things need to change or it will be the end of your quest for the seraph."
Suddenly Azayaka realized what she had just said and she dropped his hand and fell to her knees. "Forgive me, Father. It was not my place to say that. I have complete faith in whatever action you choose to enact." |

Aizen reached down taking her hands and lifting her back to her feet. "Do not apologize for what I ask you to answer." He released her and turned stepping away. "What do you think I am doing?" He stopped and looked back at her over his shoulder. "Be honest. Brutal even, if you feel it is necessary."

Azayaka sighed, thinking her words though. Then she looked back up at him with a stern look. "With all due respect, Father, I know that you are trying to use them to break each other like I suggested. However, I believe that your method of doing so is no longer bearing the fruit you desire. With each action you make towards, them, they grow closer and more tightly knitted. If you wish to break them, you must use methods other than physical torture."
She began pacing around again, this time in deep thought. "You must separate them. Kita can no longer belong to him. He can no longer be allowed to protect her or even have contact with her. The same for her. And then, when they are physically apart from each other, you must do your worst to both of them, both physically and mentally. Beat them and use Ichimaru's and Szayel's cameras to your advantage. Make them watch while knowing they can do nothing to save the other. Then, fill them with the most deceptive of lies so that by the end of it, neither of them trust each other, especially Kita. Take her away from him, and him away from her. Tear them apart piece by piece until there is nothing left of them but empty shells. You must be ruthless and sadistic. They are build to withstand anything but that. They have adapted to your ways, so you must evolve once more to break them sufficiently." |

Aizen nodded combing his fingers through his hair. "All noble and well thought out ideas, my dear; however, you do you realize by doing this you could break Kita to the point of rendering her useless?" He turned looking at his daughter. "Ichimaru is not just her strength, he is her weakness. As she is for him. Taking Kita from him would drive Ichimaru into a darkness that would make him very dangerous. You would have to keep him locked away." He smirked with a light chuckle. "And pray he never escaped."
After a long pause he stepped toward his daughter. "How would you keep from breaking Kita to the point of no return if this plan was put into action?"

Azayaka thought then tilted her head. "Give her someone else. Give her someone else to attach herself to, but keep it controlled. Otherwise the same thing will repeat itself. And in the process of her attachment..." She smirked sinisterly. "We get to watch Ichimaru fall apart. He couldn't kill you the first time. He won't this time. And now you have me. Together, I know that we can put him in his place if he goes berserk. Or..." Her smirk widened even more. "He's already attached to Rangiku Matsumoto. Give her to him. Then we get to watch Kita fall apart as well."

Aizen smirked. "Rangiku Matsumoto--" he chuckled softly. "I am sure she would rather see Ichimaru dead." He cupped his daughters cheek. "Your ideas are all heartfelt my dear and I commend you on your effort of them being well thought out. However, you have to know your victim."
His hand dropped from her cheek as he turned away again. "You say keep Kita's new keeper and Kita on a short leash so they do not get attached. However, how long were her and Vacanze together? I know of only a few hours a day. It took her a total of three days to win over an Espada. A creature with no heart. You know nothing of Ichimaru. Only that he was highly trusted by me and my right hand, then one unfortunate day he tried to kill me." Aizen paused like he was reminiscing. He then chuckled softly. "He might not be able to kill me, Azayaka dear. But do not underestimate him. If any one person is like me. It would be Ichimaru."

Azayaka clenched her jaw and cast her head down in shame and embarrassment. He was right. She was allowing her hatred to cloud her judgment. She nodded. "Yes, Father, I understand."
She didn't understand how he thought she had the power to take over for him one day. She was no where near as powerful or skilled as he was. He was leagues ahead of her. And even when she mastered all of her powers, she still wouldn't be on his level. She was still too soft and too naïve. She clenched her fists. She knew her heart came from her mother, not her father. And for that she hated her dead mother. Yet, still, she knew nothing of what the woman was like. She looked up to her Father once more.
"Father. A question, if I may?" |

"Do not be down on yourself because of this, my dear. I am asking you these questions to help you see better. You must be willing to see the whole picture. If you overlook one thing your goal will fail. You have to think with a clear mind and know who you are dealing with before you deal out punishment or even your efforts there will fail." He looked to his daughter again.
"Of course you can Azayaka. You are free to ask me anything at anytime."

"My mother. What was she like?" She sighed. "I always feel conflicted with my emotions. Part of me is cold and calculating like you. Yet another part of me is emotional and softhearted. I know the soft side of me is from my mother, and it eats away at me because it hinders my ability to serve you the way I was intended to... the way I want to."

Aizen cocked his head at her and thought of the woman that bore his child. He smirked. "She was kind. Caring and very loving. However, she had a dark side to her as well. She was deceiving, ruthless and very spiteful. A wolf in sheeps clothing I guess you could call her. She was perfect. Beautiful." He smiled and looked at Azayaka. "You and her look very much alike."
He paused with a smirk. "How would you like to help me over see the punishments of Ichimaru and Kita? Follow me in doling out what is deemable for their punishment?" He looked at her as she stood silent. "Things you may not want to be involved in will be required."

As they walked out the throne room, Azayaka turned to him and asked one last question. "Did you love her? Or was I the only thing you wanted from her?" |

Aizen laughed. "I did not know love then. She was only a product to make a perfect child." He looked at his daughter. "Which was achieved." The two exited the throne room headed down the hall of the fifth tower.
