Vacanze shook off the shock from Kisuke's words and said, "More like her 'unwanted guest.'"
Vacanze glanced at the book he was writing in. It was stuffed almost to the brim. "What have you found out recently? Anything new?" |

Watching Vacanze, Kisuke smiled, "that book is like Kita. If anything were to come about it is to be protected with you life. Just as Kita is." After Vancanze nodded looking at the book again Kisuke continued.
"She has developed her own reiatsu, and its rather strong standing on its own." He turned and walked over to the table in the room.

"Meaning Kita has power of her own, standing alone from the seraph? So in addition to the seraph's reiatsu, Kita has her own, completely separate reiatsu?" It was difficult to wrap one's head around. It gave Vacanze a headache just thinking about it.
"Is Kita developing her own spiritual identity? Something apart from the power the seraph gives her?

Kisuke smiled shaking his head at Vacanze's question, "that's what that means. As far as powers goes; if you're speaking in terms of like what Orihime and Ichigo's other friends developed because of him." He looked to Vacanze. "I don't know that yet. My research has not taken me that far." He looked to the leather bound book on the shelf.
I will definitely need a new book at that point, if not before. "I would like to think she does, but only further research will determine that. The hard part will be trying to get her to use them if she has them and not the Goddess'."
Kisuke adjusted his hat and looked to Vacanze again, "maybe with you and the others that are training her can have Sumi pulled back her powers and see what happens. If she feels in danger while training they might come fourth then."

Vacanze nodded. "Of course. I'll do everything I can to help her. Let's hope the Seraph cooperates." He glanced over to the book once more. "Anything else you found out?"
Kisuke nodded, "I have found out how to keep the Aeronite from effecting her and Sumi. However, if the mixture is put together without the major element that stop this effect. It could stop the Soul King in his path."
Vacanze's eyes widened. "It's strong enough to harm even the Soul King? And Aizen didn't know this?" He shook his head. "What the hell is this Aeronite? You'd think if it was so detrimental to the gods and the Soul King, they would do everything in their power to get rid of the stuff." He looked back up at Kisuke. "You plan on making this mixture for Kita, right?"
Kisuke adjusted his hat and smirked, "she is wearing it now. What do you think we were doing in here last night? As for destroying the element," he shook his head. "Good old Mother Earth creates it. You can destroy everything you find, but in time she will create more."
Vacanze laughed. "I guess that's Mother Earth telling the gods 'don't fuck with me.'" He shook his head. "As for the mixture, you're just as sly as ever. And for the record, I never know exactly what you're doing in here. Why do you think I came in here in the first place?" He grinned at Kisuke.

"Then I guess I am doing my job right in keeping things hid from everyone." He chuckled lightly. "So how is Kita doing in her training? When she and I spoke last night, her only comment was 'I suck'." His chuckling continued as he shook his head.
"I find that hard to believe when Aizen trained her for a solid year." HE sat down at the table motioning for Vacanze to sit with him.

Vacanze sat across from him and crossed his arms. "She's doing good, but at the same time not too good. She seems to be stuck in a rut somewhere. She's still skilled, but she hasn't been getting anywhere in terms of advancement. Ichigo and some of the Soul Reapers like Hisagi and Renji help out with her training when they stop by. She also spars with Karin sometime. Karin has been doing well, but it doesn't seem like those sparring sessions help her in the same way. Maybe your idea to have the seraph pull back will give her the push she needs."

Kisuke nodded, "Kita relies too much on Sumi. She needs something of her own to back her up. If we can find that and pull it out of her she will do much better." He looked up when Tessai walked in in the room. "Dinner time already?"
Tessai nodded, "it don't take me all day in the kitchen like it takes you in the lab, Boss."
Kisuke laughed as him and Vacanze stood from the table. "Well keep on her and try the things we talked about, and fill the others in as well. I want everyone on the same page. Lets see if they help her." As Kisuke pushed in his chair he looked to Vacanze once more. "Keep me updated as well. I like knowing what goes on with Kita since I started this research on her and Sumi."

Vacanze nodded as they walked out and into the living room where Tessai had already set the table with oden in a hot nabe pot. Dumplings and rice and other side dishes surrounded the pot.
"I'll talk to Ichigo and tell him the plan. Maybe he can head to Soul Society and get Hisagi and Renji and maybe some of the others on board to help out when they're free. And since you like things in writing, given how many journals of research material you keep, I'll make a record of how she does. That'll be my report to you."
As the two of them sat at the table, waiting for the others, Kisuke nodded with a smirk. "Sounds good. I look forward to seeing how she does."
The rest of the shop inhabitants gathered around the table for dinner and the night ended peacefully, Kisuke heading back to his lab once dinner and dishes were done.

"Sweet Scent":Kisuke turned to Yoruichi and Vacanze with six small cork sealed bottles of various colors. One flickered between orange, red and yellow like a dance flame in a fire. One was a neon green, a pink, a lavender, one red and the last teal. Kisuke handing them each three bottles a piece. Yoruichi received the Neno Green, Pink and Teal whereas Vacanze received the one that looked like a dancing flame, the Lavender and the red one. The two looked at the the bottles confused, then back to Kisuke. He chuckled softly, turning and walking back to the counter, and grabbed two more bottles of a clear liquid. All the bottles were the same only the color of the liquid was different. He handed each one of them a bottle of the clear liquid.

Somehow, Vacanze got the hint, even without Kisuke saying anything. He raised an eyebrow. "Let me guess. You're turning us into lab rats." He looked down at the bottles again. He raised the flame like one and shook the bottle gently. The substance even moved like fire. It wasn't a liquid, but it wasn't exactly a gas or a solid either. "What the hell is this stuff?" |

"More importantly, who and what are they for?" Yoruichi swirled her own bottles. She contemplated opening the corks, but her conscious told her that she knew better than that. Besides, who knew what would happen to her or what she would turn into by opening the bottle of one of Kisuke's creations. "Obviously each color must do something different. So what do they do?" |

Kisuke chuckled softly, "I can't get nothing past you two." He turned and walked over to the counter again and picked up two pieces of paper and handed one to each. He started with Yoruichi first pointing at one of her bottles and started to explain.
"This one," he was pointing at the Neno Green one, "Is what I like to call the Time Limited Perfume. It paralyzes the inhaler for a certain period of time. Depending on the amount of poison used. This one," he pointed at the Pink one, "Trailing Perfume. When used, it leaves a trace scent on who, what, or wherever it's left on. This allows the wielder or anyone that knows the scent, to track an object's movements or to find a certain location. This one," Kisuke then pointed at her last colored bottle, Teal, "is a Sleep Perfume. One whiff and the inhaler falls asleep instantly."
He then turned to Vacanze doing the same with him. "This one you will like." He pointed at the one that looked liked like a flame, "Flame Perfume. Causes fire to burn the inhaler from inside out. I am sure if done right the wielder could also inhale a little of the perfume, and by using controlled breathing techniques, would be able to exhale fire like a flame thrower." He saw a wide grin spread across Vacanze's face as he pointed to the Lavender colored liquid, "this one is a Puppet Perfume. It allows the wielder to control the inhaler's movements against their will. This one," he pointed at the Red one, "Acceleration Perfume. The most powerful and most dangerous perfume. So be careful with it. It causes the inhaler's movements to become inhumanly faster, but three or more whiffs of the poison take a heavy toll on the user and is life-threatening. In other words. If you thought you were fast before," Kisuke grinned. "You ain't seen nothing yet."
He turned away from them again, "well at least that is what they are supposed to do. Oh!" He turned back looking at them once more. "The clear liquid is an Antidote Perfume. It will neutralize the effects of all the perfumes. Oh also, each one has it owns unique scent." He raised a brow and smiled, "and very pleasing scents if you ask me. OK!" He clapped his hands together walking back toward them as he turned them and started pushing them out the door of the lab. "Have fun and bring me back good reports."

Vacanze grinned as he looked at each of the potions, he and Yoruichi walking to the door. "Kisuke, I think these just might be your best invention yet. They don't look like much, but they sound like a real pain in the ass for the person on the receiving side."

Yoruichi grinned. "I agree." She nodded to Kisuke as they walked out. "We should be back in a couple hours. That's if we don't get into trouble."
"Do you WANT something to go wrong?!" Vacanze almost screeched.
Yoruichi just laughed and pushed him out the door.
