Gin caught the arrowhead on reflex. “Only one way to find out,” the silver haired reaper retorted. He opened his fist to look at the arrowhead inside his large hand, doubt filling the gaps of silence despite the ease with which he had settled into the forging. With the sword, Gin could rely on his wounds to correct his mistakes during the next lesson. But from here on, what would be tested wasn’t something he could see or feel. If he didn’t possess the conviction it required, if his answer didn't have enough power behind it, finding another would take a lot more from him. In a way that had always been a mystery to him.
His eyes narrowed, focusing on the wish and the reasoning why he had decided to wager his time with it.
He tossed it back to Vacanze. “Hide it below. You have five minutes, and then, we’ll see if I can find it.”
No step forward would happen if he stood here asking questions he had no answers for. He had a way forward. Gin would have to forge ahead and see where it led him. Vacanze caught the arrowhead smoothly, his expression unchanged, but a glint of amusement flickered in his eyes at Gin’s confidence. "Five minutes, huh? That’s bold," he replied, tucking the arrowhead into his palm.
Without another word, he turned and made his way to the underground training field beneath the shop, moving with the same deliberate precision he always carried. Moved

When he returned to Gin, Vacanze gave him a firm nod. "It’s hidden," he said, arms crossed as he leaned against the doorway. "Your project’s down below, waiting for you. Let’s see if your instincts are sharp enough to find it."
A faint smile tugged at his lips as he added, "Good luck. You’ll need it." His eyes remained locked on Gin, curious to see if the reaper’s resolve would match the challenge he’d set for himself.Moved
