Ichimaru leaned against the wall, not staring at anything in particular, and stated, "Anything in Aizen's way is going to suffer this time." He walked over to Kisuke. "You might want to give up on the noble and be glad you managed to rescue who you did."

Kisuke narrowed his eyes. "You know I can't do that. I won't let Aizen win this. And when he does come claim Kita again." He looked deep into Gin's eyes. "Like Sumi said he would-- I will do everything in my power to get her back as well as Yumiko if she is still there as well."
He turned from Gin his jaw clenched tight his hands tighter around the handle of the broom. "What will you do Gin? Give up? Will you run? Will you leave Kita behind just like you did Rangiku?"
He dared not turn looking at Gin, for if he did and that cocky ass grin was smeared across his lips he feared he'd knock it off his face.

Gin chuckled. "I've always been one to ride the storm," he said in reply and turned away, waving his hand. "I just felt it would be prudent to warn ya~, since you did save me and all that."
He paused. "You might want to keep an eye on your prodigy. I don't think Aizen took him to break Kita. It was more the other way around." He chuckled again. "It was like Aizen was a cat with a bird in his hand. He'd broken one wing, or a leg, and was waiting for fear to break the other."

Kisuke turned and looked at Gin. "Aizen has done his damage with Tsukiro. He is leaving Kita to protect her. He can no longer use him to hurt her or him to hurt her. In time Tsukiro will be fine. He is with us and we will get him through this. Its when he returns Aizen had better watch his ass." Kisuke walked over and grabbed the dustpan turning to look at Gin once again. "You just keep up your end and take care of Kita. It seems she covers your ass enough. Time for you to start covering hers."
Gin looked over his shoulder and grinned.
"Don't you even take it to that. I will beat you with this broom." Kisuke growled.

"Alright then," he chuckled and continued out. He hesitated in the doorway.
"Oh, that's right. I thought you would like to know. For some reason, the Hougyoku doesn't like Aizen as much this time around. It's been slow waking up."

Kisuke laughed as he dumped the glass in the waste can. "It won't wake up at all. He is delusional if he thinks its waking at all. He can wait for infinity and it still won't wake up." He turned looking at Gin.
"I am no fool Ichimaru and you should have known I would not give you the Hougyoku without some sort of catch. Either you didn't want to see it or you're getting slow in your old age." Kisuke waved a dismissive hand at him. "I will let you decide which."

Gin snickered. "So even when you were using it to make him forget about Kita, you didn't even give that whole package to him?" he inquired. "That's cruel. Don't tell me it's a fake?" Though if it is coming from you, making such a thing might be possible."

Kisuke chuckled again. "Alright, I won't tell you that, and if you think you're tricking me into telling you the facts. You're dead wrong."
He step toward Gin. "Remember Ichimaru, I have danced with the devil and his prodigy more than once. I will gladly dance with them again if need be."

"Didn't I stab Aizen and keep you from his lash?" Gin quipped, not stepping back, keeping his voice light. "Wouldn't it be cruel to threaten me after that?"

Kisuke only grinned adjusting his hat. "Says the the snake to the rat." Kisuke turned from Gin and put the broom back in the corner.
He turned back and looked to him. "Anything else you want to try and weasel out of me, Ichimaru?"

The fox tilted his head. "Hmm.... there's nothing I can think of now, though I wonder... will Aizen finally see Ukitake-san lose his temper if he sees the relationship he has with Yumiko?" He started walking out again. "Then again, how close is he to having another attack, with Kotetsu-san on his back?"

Kisuke chuckled. "You're full of questions today, Ichimaru. Why don't you just come out with it? What are you planning? I know Aizen was not injured. I have an inside lead now that informed me he was up doing fine."
Kisuke narrowed his eyes at Gin. "I have no doubt that Aizen was actually Loki. Kyoraku told me all about the little stunt in the Soul Society when you attacked there. Not to mention. Kita has mentioned him a few times as well."
Gin turned looking at Kisuke with slitted eyes.
"Did you really save me, Ichimaru? Or was this all another ploy of Aizen's?" Kisuke asked bluntly. "Remember Ichimaru. If you want trust. You have to give trust. I figured Kita taught you that much at least."

Gin fell silent, keeping everything hidden behind his facade, then chuckled. He fell into a seat. "Did you save me just to get in my head, Hat-no-Clogs?" he asked, looking at the ceiling. After a moment, he looked down and let his azure eyes meet the sharp ones of the shopkeeper's. "Your insider wouldn't happen to be a redhead, would it?"

Kisuke chuckled. "Maybe." Kisuke straddled the chair across from him. "On both counts that is. Now spill it. What's going on? Together we can bring this bastard down. Divided we will never get ahead. And that bastard knows this."

Gin looked to the ceiling again. "You're not going to like it," he murmured.
"If I decided to react to everything I didn't like at this point, Kita would be heart-broken, and that's only the beginning," Kisuke retorted. "Now talk."
Gin sighed and facing him again, began. "Aizen decided to take advantage of your kindness towards me. Yes, it was Loki who threatened you and felt Shinsou's bite." A vindictive smirk lit the fox's face. "One day, he won't walk away from Shinsou's attacks." His smirk faded back to his normal grin. "I am to use the cover of 'trust' to figure out why the Hougyoku won't wake."
Kisuke raised an eyebrow. "I doubt that's all."
Gin's smirk faded. "When I take back the secrets of Hougyoku, I will be taking prisoner one of the key leaders on this side of the war. My 'true' task is to create a gulf of pain and worry where hope once was."
