"Yumiko," Yoruichi said to her softly but sternly.
"We only want to help you. Think about it. If we were really your enemy, then why would we be sitting here talking and having tea. If we were your enemy, we wouldn't treat you so benevolently. You would be locked away in a cell. True, you may not be in a cell in Las Noches, but a room can be just as much of a prison as an actual prison cell. And it's even worse if you don't know it's a prison cell. We can help you Yumiko. We can help you heal the part of yourself that's causing the hurt, but you have to trust us and let us. Aizen only knows how to keep it at bay for a while, but if you keep suppressing the pain without healing the wound, it will never truly go away."

As something in the woman’s words bit deep into her unconsciousness, Yumiko shrank from her. Her hands wrapped around her wrists before she started and stopped. She closed her eyes then lifted her head, determination filling her eyes. “I haven’t run out yet, though your words keep pushing at my headache. Doesn’t that mean I am trying?” she said.

Yoruichi nodded, smiling. "Yes, it does."
"Yumiko, why do you think you have these headaches?" Kisuke asked her.

She frowned. She hadn't considered to wonder, even though they were abnormally painful. Finally, she shrugged. "A side effect from my powers, maybe. It was the same with my eyes."

Kisuke lifted his cup and took a sip lowering it to the table once more. "You remind me of someone very close to me, Yumiko. Though I think he is a little more bullheaded than you. You both are set deep in denial. You don't want to believe what we have to tell you and she did not want to believe that the person best suited for a certain job was indeed the best person. All because it involved your beloved and his beloved."
Kisuke looked to Yumiko. "Something I am sure you have heard as many times as I have heard it. 'Never judge a book by its cover'. Their very deceiving. This is something I never really heeded until I met a young girl about five years ago." He smiled warmly and adjusted his hat as he thought of Kita. "She has taught this old dog a lot of new tricks and made me a better person because of it." Taking the chance Kisuke reached across the table and rested his hand on top of Yumiko's.
"One thing I can tell you Yumiko. That young lady will not lead you wrong when it comes to a person. She won't lie and she will try to be gentle when telling you things, but somethings just can't be delivered softly when it comes to some people and the things they have done."

Yumiko remained sliently, listening. She did not pull away from his hand on hers. Finally she spoke. "She said she could be wrong..... she wasn't certain." She looked into Urahara's eyes. "But then why can't I clear the doubt? Because it's such a rare thing in Las Noches. I've always been by him. He's my master. He didn't have to make me his queen. But he did. Why create an elaborate lie? Then again..... " she lowered her head, "maybe I don't deserve him if I find myself doubting some of the memories, when there's a melody in my head that I don't know where it comes from."
Suddenly she stood, blue violet eyes fierce. "Just tell me what it is you want to say. Just do it!"

Kisuke looked to her a frown across his lips. "Aizen is not who you think he is, Yumiko. He is a malicious man and he will bend you any way he needs to get you to do what he wants you to do. Be it making you think he loves you deeply to beating you into submission. That is the cold hard honest truth."
He picked up his teacup and took a sip setting it back to the table his eyes returning to Yumiko as she stood there at the table.

Yumiko fell back down to the floor where she had been sitting, staring down into her cup of tea. Her heart wrenched somewhere between her stomach and throat. "You're lying..." she whispered, clenching her wrists, "you have to be..." She sprang up, knocking over her tea, falling back into the wall, where she held her head with one hand and clasped the crimson sash in the other. Spots danced in her vision as she fought with the pain in her head.
And something slipped through the cracks.
"I am feared by many, and loathed by so many more."
Aizen chuckled darkly. "It's far from a game, Hime."
Golden cuffs on her wrists....
"Who am I?" she whispered. "Was I locked up?"

Kisuke stood and stepped toward her resting his hand to her shoulder. "You are Yumiko Ryouma of the Noble Ryouma Clan and yes, you were locked away nearly a century ago by--"
"Central 46. Because your powers were feared by them."
Kisuke looked up seeing Juushiro standing just within the room as he looked at him and Yumiko a relieved yet worried look on his face.

Juushiro walked fully into the room, gentle eyes sad as he looked over at Yumiko. "Your powers were bound and your sight sealed. You were concealed from the world but for a few people. And then Aizen came. You lost most of your memories when he unsealed your pow-"
He cut himself off as blood leaked from her nose and she grew far paler than before.
"Yumiko!"

She shook her head weakly. "I'm sorry... I'm trying to remember ... I feel like I should know you.... I've heard that voice..... but the headache... " She took a step forward but ended up nearly falling over, caught by both of them. "Aizen.... he told me the truth before..." Yumiko stopped speaking, trying to not pass out.

Juushiro's eyes narrowed and he clasped Yumiko's limp hand. "Kisuke, can you fix this?" he asked, voice hoarse.

Kisuke quickly grabbed a cloth from the table as he turned back Yumiko's knees gave way and she started to go down. He quickly grabbed before she hit the floor, he then slowly lowered her to the floor to sit handing her the cloth for her nose.
"Your headache returned?"
She nodded as Kisuke looked to Juushiro. "Between her depleted reiatsu and her headaches she can't get ahead here. Stay with her I think I have something that will help her. I will be right back." Kisuke stood and made a quick path to his lab.

Juushiro nodded quietly, supporting her trembling form with his arms. "Hang in there, Yumiko, and you can rest soon." She tried to talk again but he shook his head. "We can talk later." She nodded. A moment later, Juushiro's arms tightened around her as she started to cry silently. He pulled her gently into his arms. "I'm sorry, Yumiko. We should have got you out of there earlier."

Yumiko couldn't stop the tears. She couldn't remember so much and the man she had fallen for had been lying to her. Everything between them, the security, the happiness, her progress, her loyalty ... it was all nothing but a trap. Her hands tightened into fists as she recalled Kita's call for help the first time she had met her and how she had been swayed by Loki. She curled up against the kind man, almost wishing for her first prison, the one she couldn't remember, as her heart twisted and tried to end all feelings in her heart for Aizen.
But then .... why hadn't he punished her the second time she had attacked him?
