Kita hissed at Giichi, "Like you were planning on helping in the first place. All Gods do is stir the pot making things worse and then find a scapegoat so they don't have to deal with the mess they made."
Sumi narrowed her eyes at Kita. "Is that how you feel about everything I have done for you and your family?"
Kita looked at Sumi with the same narrowed eyes. "The only good thing you have done for me and my family is keep us from dying. We still suffered by the hands of our captors causing more scars." Kita's attention turned back to Giichi.
"Answer Yumiko's question, Grandfather. Why did you reset us the first time if your just telling us to do the same thing we have been doing for decades and centuries? Is Aizen the only one allowed to have his goals come to fruition and to hell with the ones that would like to have peace?" Kita looked on at Giichi as he stood there silent not answering her.
"Answer me you son of a bitch!!" Kita screamed at him.

"Your weakness..." Giichi raised his voice. "Your unwavering inability to do for yourselves is why you are perpetual victims." He snapped his fingers. Nothing seemed to happen. "You people seem to have forgotten your place...Just as much as you believe that the gods have forgotten theirs. So let me help you remember!"
Giichi snapped his fingers again. The house shook. "Scatter!" shouted Giichi. He voice echoed in a now empty room. He inhaled deeply and exhaled loudly before peering over his shoulder.
Urahara stood behind him, silent and unable to speak or move. "I give you this moment because you are my flesh and blood. But, you will get no more from me. Or any other god, for that matter. Even Sumi. If she so much as blows dust from any of your eyes, we will be right back here where I will have you all reliving the worst moment of your lives. For you...You searching for Kenji after the hollows attacked your home...But you can't find him. Perhaps he dies that day." Giichi paused. "I will have you locked in that moment until your mind is reduced to nothing. "
Giiichi groaned beneath his breath. "You have all you need to draw out the poison that your brother as become. Instead, you've let these people soften you to the point where you all have simply allowed him to run rampant. And, not just you. All of Soul Society. Purposefully weak fools, you are. If you want to do something about the threat that is Sousuke Aizen...Then do something. But bitching at me as if I am the problem isn't going to fix it." Giichi ran a hand through his hair.
"I must obey laws set before me. And, I have a limit to what I can do." Giichi chuckled as he wrung his hand together. "But what's done is done. And, I am not talking about anything that Alister has done. Best of luck, my boy." At that, Giichi disappeared.
Everyone returned to the room with Urahara.

As soon as the ones returned that Giichi expelled from the room, they started questioning 'What happened?'. Kisuke shook his head, holding up a hand to quiet them. "Nothing happened. He only rambled on about the laws that bind him and his limits, and how all of Soul Society is purposefully weak fools."
"Oh," Kisuke tipped his hat back with a slight smirk on his lips. "He told me we will get no more from him or any other god. Not even Sumi. He threatened that if she so much as blows dust from any of our eyes, we will be right back here and have us all reliving the worst moment of our lives."
"Well, should I dance or cry?" Gin quipped, wrapping his arms around Sojiro and Kita once more. "I'm quite sure that I don't care all that much~"
"I am sure no one cares. The Gods have only caused us bigger issues." Kisuke looked at Kita and smiled. "So now you're truly free of Sumi."
Kita's head shook. "That's what I thought when the Soul King separated us, but none other than Sumi appeared back in our lives." She sighed. "I hope dear Grandfather keeps his word."
Kisuke's head nodded again. "Now we just have to figure out what Giichi meant by 'Wiping the slate clean'."

“Oh for fucks sake!” groaned Vale, walking into the room. “You all like focusing on the wrong shit, don’t you?!” He held up a hand as most everyone flinched at his appearance. ”I know. Beaten and worn…Not my best look. But I’m not here for any of you. I just wanted to make sure my son was alright. Alister is a fucking asshole and I wasn’t sure he wouldn’t try…”
Vale’s words trailed off as he saw Shihoin bouncing slightly to calm the now crying child. He smiled in relief. He looked at Yumiko. Then to Kita.
“I’ve got one hell of a story to tell. And I’m not sure you’ll believe it all.”

Kita started a path toward Yoruichi, "well if they know you like Yumi-chan and I know you." She took Kadaj from Yoruichi and started a path toward Vale. "The crazier your story is the more we will probably believe it."
She giggled softly, kissed Kadaj's forehead and handed him to his father. As Vale cradled his son Kita asked. "What were you afraid Alister might do, Vale?"

Stung by the dismissal in his words yet worried about the state of her lover, Yumiko followed Kita's lead. Walking over to Vale’s other side and letting her healing powers run over him. “Do we need to know that? From what I’ve seen and heard, Alister’s words have more power the longer we linger on them. Despite another God giving us his word that they can’t do anything anymore, I don’t want to strengthen any more fears he’s uncovered. Let his words go."

Vale stepped away from Yumiko. “Don’t do that.” He mumbled. He took another step just as his shadow appeared between them.
“No, Hanten…” Vale looked down at his son in his arms. He sighed and looked to the shadow. “Fuck off, will you.” Vale looked to Kita again. “A pesky side effect of hell I think.”
”What is it?”
“Me…” He said, looking at his shadow. It was leaning over a table, reaching for an object. “Don’t touch that! Fucking child…” Vale placed Kadaj back into Kita’s arms. He tapped the sheath of his blade and the shadow disappeared.
“Wipe the slate clean.” He repeated the words and looked to Urahara. “We all know that there’s very little I actually give a shit about. And I can also be pretty fucking lazy when I want to be. I’d rather be in hell than take over that realm again.” Vale raised a hand as Urahara took a step toward him. “Hypothetically, Urahara…Fucking hell man…”

Kita started walking the floor as she bounced Kadaj in her arms. "I don't understand what 'wiping the slat clean' means here." She turned and started walking back toward Vale. "It can mean a thousand things and all the ones that come to mind put us all in harms way. Because Aizen is starting all his bullshit from sixteen years ago."
She shook her head, "but its sixteen years later and so much has changed." She looked at Gin and Sojiro, tears pooling in her eyes. "I won't do this again. I can't do this again." Her head shook. "I will leave this town. This country. I am not going through this hell again, and I refuse to put the children through it." Her tears broke free and streamed down her cheeks.
"I can't," she sobbed as her head shook.

“It wasn’t Aizen this time, love. It was me.” Vale tried his best to mask the bit of shame in his voice. “I wanted it to end. Alister knew that much. But the idea of me dying…He twisted it to mean something else.” He looked at Yumiko and was silent for a moment. “But I have never been told such a poorly laid out plan in all my life.”
Vale looked around the room. He wanted to sit down. He was more tired than he had realized. Weaker too. ”Whispering…” he mumbled. “He kept whispering about the gods or some bullshit like that.” Vale sat on the floor. “I kind of played along. And he kept whispering and being impatient…Longest fucking three days of my life.”
She spun quickly to look at Vale. "This might have been yours and Alister's idea, but you put a man that takes advantage of every opportunity back into a place of power and returned his power. Do you truly think Aizen is not going to act on this little mess?"
Vale shook his head. “Listen…I’m not going to say a cold chill ran down my spine when Aizen appeared on the throne with the hogyoku in his chest…but it wasn’t warm…” Vale laid flat on his back. “But it wasn’t my idea.” He said raising a hand. “What that does mean, however, is that Alister was keeping tabs on the old pretentious bastard.”

“Alister keeps tabs on anyone that may be interesting around you,” Yumiko muttered, going back to Vale’s side and taking his hand. If Hanten, no, Chinmoku appeared in her way again, she’d try to speak to him. Something was wrong with Vale and his casual inflection about dying only bothered her more. “Can we discuss Aizen after you’re no longer shaking and speaking like you’re drunk? You’re cold too.” Her hand tightened on his. “You were in Hell. Of course you were stuck with your worse thoughts and he fed on them. So stop thinking about him for a moment. You’re not well!” She dashed her tears away and tried to heal him again.

For a moment Vale allowed himself the comfort Yumiko offered. “Quit being a big baby…” he mumbled reaching up and wiping away her tears.
Suddenly, Vale sat up and pulled away from Yumiko. “…Don’t do that. I’m fine…”

“Sorry, Yumi-chan,” Gin looked from the noble and sick man on the ground to his desperate wife and then over to the shopkeeper. “As much as I’d like to wait to see how this plays out, I think we need more details about ‘wiped clean’ because last time I checked, we’re not ready for more crap from Las Noches now.” He waved a hand. “Even if I would enjoy kicking their asses when they have nothing of mine~”
He covered Kita’s lips with his hand and leaned down to whisper in her ear. “Breathe, dearie. We’re not running away after all we’ve been through. You’ll regret it later. The kids aren’t the only reason you fought for a future.”

"I can't do this, Gin. With what I am going through right now with all my memories returned. I am unstable as it is. I will end up killing. Again." Kita wiped away her tears with a sniffle, hearing Vale push Yumiko away once more.
"Will you please let Yumi-chan heal you." She started a quick path toward the two on the floor. "Or take your son and let me heal you."
“Fucking hell, love.” groaned Vale. “You’re even more dramatic than the last time I saw you. When was the last time the two of you fucked ?!” He struggled to stand but eventually made it to his feet. “There is not a soul in this room that will allow that. So calm your ass, Why don’t you. I’ll deal with whats-his-face…Anita. I’ll do my best to keep him off you…” Vale leaned over placing his hands on his knees. “I have to go back…”
Gin kissed Kita on her forehead, whispering something just between the two of them, when Vale made his exclamation. He snickered down at him. "Are you trying to take my place, Tervaden? After all those lectures about betrayal?" He leaned over and set his finger against Vale's forehead, pausing dramatically. "My turn~" He flicked him, pushing him back into the noble's arms.
Kita looked over at Vale. "You're not going anywhere until you are healed. So it is Yumi-chan or me? Pick?"
Vale smirked at the question. “I think I can handle both of you, if I’m honest.”
Kenji growled beneath his breath. “That’s it…” He shunpo’d over to where the four were and kneed Vale in the face. Delicately, of course. The man’s head hit the floor. He was out cold. “Asshole.”
Kita looked at her little brother a smirk across her lips. "I guess that is one way to do it." She looked at Yumiko. "Should we both heal him to get it done faster or do you want to tackle him alone?"

Kisuke stretched, leaning to one side then the other to pop his back. "I say let Yumiko take care of him and you get that little one feed and to bed." He walked toward his lab. "I have some things that need looking into. I will be in my lab."Kita adjusted Kadaj in her arms as she looked at Yumiko. "I will get him to sleep and come back and help you so you don't get too drained." Kita looked over at Gin as she turned to go upstairs. "Will you be following or are you going with Kisuke so you two can talk?"Yumiko thanked Kita as Gin waved his hand. "Well I can't really do what I want if Daj wants his Mommy. So that depends if the shopkeeper wants to pick my brain or just fiddle with what's under his old hat~ I'll go wherever." Sojiro ran a hand through his hair. "What do we do about our plans of moving to Take-jii's place?" Kenji huffed, clenching his fists as he growled beneath his breath. “One thing after another…It’s always one stupid thing after another!” Kenji left the living room and made his way to his bedroom where he slammed the door shut.Kisuke sighed at his son's outburst his eyes drifting to Kita. "When you can, will you please talk to your brother?""I think it would be better if you talk to him. He needs your guidance." Kita turned and walked toward the stairs. "Something he has not had since he was a child."Kisuke sighed removing his hat and rubbing the back of his neck. "Something I regret daily." He put his hat back on and stepped toward his son's room. "The lab can wait." Kisuke disappeared from the main room as everyone else, but Yumiko and Vale filed out as well. --END RP-- "Goodbye, Urahara Boy"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: Deep RenewalEpisode 359 "Fractured Again": Yumiko sat on the ground with Vale’s head in her lap, running her hands through his bloodied hair as she healed him. It wasn’t an easy task. Vale’s injuries were extensive, both old and new, internal and external. But fortunately, after taking Kita’s place as the healer in Las Noches, she’d gained more than enough experience to combat them, especially after what she remembered of the treatments in the Rokkakkei. The details blurred together in her mind, but somehow that kept her emotions usually in check, too. It wasn’t as easy after finding layers and layers of injuries on her lover, though. And as her reiatsu depleted and her breathing remained steady from practice, she found herself crying, tears silently slipping down her face as she worked.
