"Chinmoku? Did this to you?" Kisuke faltered with his words, his hand shoved under his hat as he scratched the top of his head, a very confused look on his face. "I am going to ask an odd question."
Kita looked at Kisuke, her eyes fixed on him. "Seto did not do this. Chinmoku did this to me."
Kisuke sat up straight, "Alright that answers that. So if Chinmoku did this to you," Kisuke paused, "where was Seto?" His voice raised slightly in a questioning tone.
Kita's head shook, "I don't know," tears started trickling down her cheeks. "But he was there. I heard him," her head shook again, "he called out my name. Twice. He's there, somewhere. But I don't know where."
"Sssoooo, Seto was not there, but Chinmoku was, but so was Seto, you just don't know where he is?" Kisuke looked at Tessai, Kisuke's look of confusion replaced with mystification. His hand lifted as he palmed the side of his face covering one eye. "I'm so confused," he said softly.
Hearing footsteps coming down the stairs, Kisuke looked the way of the staircase. After a few seconds, Vacanze and Gin appeared from upstairs. "did she tell you anything about what happened?" His look pointed at Gin.
Gin's head shook, "she came back soaked to the bone, cold and bleeding with that burn on her hand."
Kisuke looked back at Kita, "Kita," she did not look at him, her gaze on her hand as Tessai healed it, "Kita," he spoke a little louder catching her attention, "where did you go? Where were you when you got hurt?"
"Hueco Mundo," Kita replied with a slight hiss looking back at her hand.
Kisuke sat back with a heavy sigh and looked at Gin.
"Don't look at me. She stuck me in time again and took off." Gin snarled. He looked over at Kita who was crying again, Vacanze at Tessai's side helping him heal Kita's wound. Gin's next few words were spoken with concern "I would have never let her leave or would have gone with her if I had known where she was going."
Kisuke sighed, "Kita why did you go to Hueco Mundo?"

Kita slowly let her gaze turn to Kisuke, his words echoed in her head. "Why did I go to Hueco Mundo?" She repeated his question.
"Yes, Kita. Why? why did you go to Hueco Mundo?" Kisuke repeated again.
Kita blinked, "I don't know. The only thing I remember was a really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. A feeling so bad I thought I was going to be sick."
"When did this come about?"
Kita's head shook, "I don't know. I was asleep and woke up all of a sudden. It was strange, but I felt like someone, or something, was try to tell me something."
"Like Seto was calling to you?" Kisuke asked.
"I don't know, but I know it had something to do with Seto. I just did not know what and I did not know where he was, so I let the Godly gate take me to him."
"So he was at Las Noches," Vacanze commented.
"No. No. Las Noches is gone. Hueco Mundo looks like an atom bomb was set off in the middle of it."
"Hence the extreme heat," Gin commented.
Kisuke sighed heavily and covered his eyes with his hat, "so let me get this straight. You went to Hueco Mundo, there you found Chinmoku but no Seto, and Hueco Mundo look as if someone tried to wipe the realm out of existence." He watched as Kita nodded her head slowly as she was watching Tessai again.
"Oh," she looked quickly back at Kisuke. "It was storming there too."
The whole room went dead silent the four men only looking at one another.
"Kita," she looked back at him. "Are you telling me it was raining in Hueco Mundo?" He heard her hum in reply. "One more question Kita, the source of heat you found was it localized?"
Kita's head nodded slowly, "it was part of the massive pit the Godly gate opened up in. That is where I found Chinmoku."
Kisuke sat back hard in his chair, "without Seto," he mumbled.
Kita's head shook, "no, Seto was there. I just could not see him, but he is there. I don't know how or why but Seto is in that pit with Chinmoku."

Kenji squeezed in between Vacanze and Gin. "Well...wait..." he said, adjusting his t-shirt. "No one else is curious about the whole Hueco Mundo is melting part? I mean I care about Seto too. But, I think that's more important. Hueco Mundo is a mess...Las Noches is gone...Seto is gone..."
"What are you getting at, Kenji?" asked his Kisuke.
"Well, obviously Seto isn't dead. Chinmoku's still there." Kenji ran a hand through his hair while he looked over Kita's shoulder as Tessai worked on healing her hand. "Las Noches is gone. And, Hueco Mundo is a hot mess. Do you think Seto did it? Well...Maybe not him. I doubt he could do something like that."

Kita looked on at her little brother, then looked at Kisuke. "Could Seto have done this amount damage to Hueco Mundo?"
Kisuke adjusted his hat, his head nodding slightly, "it a very good possibility Seto did this. Chinmoku is a very fascinating zanpakuto."
"Seto..." Kita shook her head, "Chinmoku has that kind of destructive power?"
"I've seen Chinmoku's bankai before. So, has Gin. Though, neither of us have seen it cause the damage you're describing." Kisuke explained.
Kita looked to Gin, worry still painted across his face. "The damage is devastating. I don't even know if anything lived through it. I saw no life at all. None."

Yoruichi walked into the living room with the rest of the group. "Not to mention, what could he have been fighting that would require him to use that much power?" She placed a hand on her chin. "Maybe an Espada or an Ayakashi left in Las Noches? Or one of Aizen's or Szayel's creations?"
She sat in a chair next to Kisuke. "But even that seems like overkill. If he really did destroy all of Las Noches and all of the hollows in Hueco Mundo, that would cause a severe upset in the balance between the realms."

Gin scoffed. “Maybe misplaced the Ayakashi and the Espada and killed a good number of the Hollows that lingered around both the palace and the forest nearby. I doubt he killed all of our enemies. That would be too easy even with the cost of Vale, no Seto, incapacitated somewhere. But if he killed enough of the population, even that would be enough to disrupt the balance. Aizen, Tousen, and I had to be quite careful when we took over there to keep the status quo."
He halted as another ferocious peel of thunder shook the house. "Is that what caused this storm? I don't remember seeing storms like this that are NOT on the forecast."

Kita looked at Kisuke her look solemn. "Is it possible..." a loud clap of thunder echoed through the shop as a strike of lightening followed. Kita looked up toward the ceiling. It was still raining and the storm was not letting up. It was the worst they had seen...
Ever...
"Could this storm be a product of what happened in Hueco Mundo? Could the balance be thrown off?" Kita questioned.
"All good questions, Kita but ones I cannot answer. Bad weather alone is not a sign of the balance being upset, and Soul Society would get it worse than any of us." Kisuke explained. "And everything would be simultaneous."
"So Soul Society and Karakura would both be affected at the same time." Kita stated as she watched Kisuke nod. "So call them. Go there. We can use the Godly gate so to make it quick and simple. We have to know! This is too important to let slide."

Gin's cooling ire ignited once again. Even if she made a good argument, the memory of her recent return was too fresh on his mind for him to care about it. “You’re not going anywhere with that arm!” he snapped. “If someone is going to go check on them or call, it will be through the normal means. You’re going to sit your ass here and get healed!”
“But the Godly Gate is faster!”
“Using that Gate is how you became like this!” her spouse hissed. “You are in no position to help if something is happening over there and you wouldn’t stand still either. Using Dangai is not so slow to involve you right now!"
"Dad, don't yell at Mom!" Sojiro called out, rocking Kadaj as he started to whine at all the noise.
Gin ran a hand through his hair and lowered his voice. "You haven't recovered from what you walked into, Kita. You're not joining any reconnaissance or rescue mission. You of all people should know the importance of that."

Kita narrowed her eyes at Gin. This was important information that they needed to know and they needed to be aware of it now, but he was right. She was in no shape at that moment to help do anything and even if she were to just take them there in the Godly gate, if something were going on and she was needed she would join the fray.
"Fine...you win this one, but tomorrow is my appointment with Dr. Kusumoto and I am going." Kita's words were firm as she looked on at her husband.Gin let a low growl emit from his throat as he looked at the complicated female in from of him, he took a deep breath. "We will talk about this later.""I don't want to miss this appointment, Gin." Kita looked on at him as he said nothing but gave her a slight nod. She returned the nod and turned going back to watching Tessai and Vacanze heal her hand. As they healed her Kisuke, Yoruichi, Kenji and Gin left the living area to go talk. ~END RP~ "Coming Back: Part One"

The house was unusually quiet, the echoes of the recent attack still lingering in the air. The devastation brought by Aizen's most loyal had left deep scars, but the immediate wounds had been tended to. Gin was the worst off, nothing new in that situation. Sojiro had his arm in a sling and a nasty burn on his arm, and Yuzu was banged up and bore Ulquiorra's claw marks down her back. Each was on the mend, their recovery a small beacon of hope in the otherwise somber atmosphere.Tessai, seated silently beside Kisuke, finally broke the silence. "We did our best in this attack, and Ichimaru will be alright. He was a mess, but when isn't he?"Kisuke nodded slowly, a slight smirk crossing his lips, his eyes drifting to the cup of tea in front of him. "True, but the real challenge is ahead of us, Tessai. Kita's still out there, and keeping Ichimaru from searching for her relentlessly won't be easy."The weight of his words settled between them. Kita's disappearance had hit them all hard, but Kisuke knew they couldn't afford to let despair cloud their judgment. He sipped his tea thoughtfully before speaking again."We need to think like Aizen. We need a plan that accounts for every possibility."Tessai's gaze hardened. "We'll find her, Kisuke. We won't rest until we do."Kisuke smiled, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. "I know we will. We owe it to Kita to bring her home safely." The resolve in his voice was unshakeable.
As they sat in the quiet of the house, the weight of their mission hung over them, but so did the unwavering determination to see it through. For Kisuke, failure was not an option. They would find Kita, no matter the cost. They had to, because if the Hogyoku found her first, things could turn bad for Kita. |

Stomping echoed through the house as Gin left his room, striding down to the main room where he could feel the shopkeeper’s aura. He slammed the door open, leaning on the door, and glaring at the room at large, his eyes shifting in between crimson and his usually clear blue eyes. Various healing injuries throbbed at his quick actions, including his bandaged torso and fingers, but Gin could care less about them. He’d dealt with worse before, and he would again. Injuries only kept him down for so long, and despite finally passing out from blood loss and pain last night, one thing rang out in his mind He fixed a glare on the shopkeeper.
“What happened to Kita?”

Kisuke looked up from his papers, the usual playful glint in his eyes replaced with a solemn resolve. He set down his pen and folded his hands on the table, meeting Gin's fierce gaze.
"Aizen took her," Kisuke began, his voice calm but laced with urgency. "We believe he thinks she possesses the Hogyoku. It's the only logical explanation for why he would target her specifically."
Gin's eyes narrowed, the crimson fading slightly as he processed the information. "Why would he think that?"
Kisuke sighed, adjusting his hat. "Aizen has always been one to plan for contingencies, to see possibilities where others see none. Even if the connection seems severed, he must believe there's a residual link, something he can exploit."
"Don't tell me shit I don't know. Answer. My question! Why would Aizen think Kita is harboring the Hogyoku?" Gin clenched his fists, the pain from his injuries flaring up but doing nothing to quell the fire in his eyes.
Kisuke stood, his expression firm. "I don't know, but I know if this is what he thinks we need to find her as quickly as possible. Kita's life is on the line, and Aizen will be expecting us to come after her."

Gin marched over and grabbed Kisuke by his collar. “There’s something you’re not telling me, Urahara. Aizen witnessed the Hogyoku be sucked into that clone of Octava’s when he wrenched it out of his chest. Why would it matter if Kita has a residual link to it if a beast of his own making took it from him? He came to get rid of the thing. Why would he chase it down now?”
"I truly don't know," Kisuke began, his voice calm but heavy with urgency. "But I have a theory, and I know it sounds unthinkable given Aizen's actions. It's the only thing that makes sense."
"Spill it!" Gin growled, shoving the shopkeeper back.
Kisuke steadied himself, adjusting his hat before continuing. "He's trying to protect her. Specifically, he’s trying to protect her and her Hogyoku from Shosei and his former Hogyoku."
Gin's eyes narrowed further, confusion and anger mixing in his expression. "Protect her? From what? Why would Aizen care about protecting her?"
Kisuke sighed, his gaze serious. "Aizen's former Hogyoku has gained sentience. It's seeking out the other Hogyoku to merge with and increase its power. Kita's Hogyoku is unique, a remnant tied to Sumi but still distinct. Shosei, likely driven by this rogue Hogyoku, wants to capture and assimilate it."
Gin’s hands clenched at his sides, pushing his pain to the forefront to keep his rage in check. To stop and think. He couldn’t just run off after his former master. Not with the current situation.
“Las Noches is no more, so where would he take her?”
Kisuke hid behind his hat, indicating his papers. “I don’t know. I’m trying to figure that out now.”
Gin’s fury threatened to spiral out of control at that blunt response. He spun around, kimono flaring around him, and slammed a hand into the wall, barely keeping himself from just pulverizing the wall.
“Where are Sojiro and Kadaj?”
“Sojiro is sleeping here and Kadaj is with his father.”
Gin turned back to him. “When did Vale get back and what does he know about this?"

"He is the one who informed me, indirectly, about Aizen's Hogyoku's activities. The rest is mostly my theory, pieced together from Seto's encounters with the Hogyoku and his detailed questions about said orb."
"Explain," Gin snapped, not pleased with more details from another angle.
Kisuke sighed adjusting his hat, "It seems the Hogyoku has some kind of connection with Seto, and it has been communicating with him. Seto was asking if the Hogyoku itself could evolve or have desires, he told me Shosei was not its planned vessel. He-the Hogyoku-has plans...His name will be Masami and he'll change the world."

Gin snarled wordlessly and started pacing again. “If it’s not Aizen running one of his schemes, it’s the Gods, if it’s not them, it’s one of the damn creations from this whole mess.” He flung out a hand, wordlessly shattering a teacup sitting on the table. For a moment, it looked like he would shatter something else, but he halted, some of the details becoming clearer.
He turned back to Kisuke. "Shopkeeper. If the Hogyoku has forged a connection with a man who never used it, does that mean it's going to manipulate us next? You helped create it and I've handled it multiple times, including ripping it from Aizen's damn chest!"
