Vacanze did not knock when he arrived back at the house after walking Sojiro to school and trying to stop by the Kurosakis to see Yuzu. However, no one was home. So he took off to Uraharas only to find out that Kita had been gone for a while.
Sticking around for a bit he had tea and chatted with family, and after 5 cups of tea, Vacanze needed to head out. Gin still needed to talk to him and at this point he was just wasting time.
Walking into the house Vacanze grinned widely when he saw Gin and Kita wrapped in one another's arms and deep into a heated kiss. He did not say anything, just closed the door behind him a little louder than normal.
The two startled and looked his way, Vacanze combed his fingers through his hair wearing the same grin he got when he walked in. "Oops." his grin turning into a smirk.

Gin’s sharp eyes narrowed and his arms tightened around Kita, ready to tell his favorite Espada, now Ayakashi, to get out of the room, if not the whole house. He deliberated, wondering how to succinctly word his warning and demand. He appreciated the Espada on most days. It was nice to not always be the one from the dark side and Vale-Seto was rarely pleasant company. But there were the days Vacanze seemed intent on stirring trouble between Kita and him. It was never done in the hostile manner like others he could name, but it still irked Gin whenever he did it.
He was in the middle of something good here.
And it wasn’t just about getting a piece of his lover either.
However, before he could snap at the intruder, everyone heard a small cry from upstairs.
Gin and Kita looked to each other and Kita smiled, kissing his cheek. “Go talk to Vacanze. I’ll put the food away for later and take care of my little man.”
“You sure?” Gin mused, his hands smoothing down his lover’s hips. “We could let the redhead babysit. He did come by after all.”
Kita giggled as Vacanze said something under his breath. “He prefers time with his mother and I’m here now.” She kissed him again. “Make it up to me?”
“Always~” Gin purred, returning the gentle kiss.
The two parted, Kita hugging Vacanze before leaping up the stairs, and Gin leaned back, running a hand through his hair. “I thought you said you were going to be visiting your girl. That was rather quick, V-man.”

"I did," Vacanze strolled across the floor to sit on the couch, kicking the blanket slightly up so he was not walking on it. "No one, and I mean no one was home. Plus, it's not my fault you're getting slow in your old age. I gave you ample time. I stopped by the Shopkeeper's place and briefly hung with the fam. Had," Vacanze held up his hand, "five cups of tea." he mumbles to himself, "Had to piss like a horse." He glanced over at Gin.
"And I took my time from the shop getting here."

“Well, well,” Gin mused, regaining his smirk as he listened to the hollow go on, “someone didn’t get his wish today. I’d say sorry but as you so rudely pointed out, you did interrupt us in our home, so I think turn about is fair play.” He stood up and walked over to the chicken and vegetables, taking a couple bites before covering the dish. He turned around, facing Vacanze with a sly glint in his eyes. “Time to go, V-man.” Vacanze met his eyes with an even gaze. “I’m comfy right here. What are you up, old man?” “Old man, old man,” Gin mused, walking over, “you should know that age means little to people like us. But then again, time for a reminder.” Gin snatched Vacanze up by his gigai and hauled him upright. “By bye, dearie~” He disappeared, dragging the hollow along to another location. - END RP - “Brother In Arms”

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 460 “Time to Share”: Making it home Kita took Kadaj to his room and laid him in his crib, He was fast asleep after his feeding and she was sure he was tired of being in that sling for the biggest part of the morning. Quietly she retrieved the used bottle and any dirty diapers from his bag and set it aside so as to add any needed supplies later. She folded the sling and lay it over the top of the bag. She then exited the room closing the door behind her so he would not be disturbed.
Down to the first floor and into the kitchen, she rinsed out the bottle and tossed the diapers in the trash. Suddenly out of nowhere one of her hands went to the wall for support, and the other covered her face as she started to cry.“Kita,” Gin called out to her from the other room.Quickly she dried her tears and smoothed down her clothing. She cleared her throat, “In the kitchen, Dear.”Gin poked his head around the corner a warm smile across his lips. “I am going to the shop to talk to Hat and Clogs. I will be back shortly.”Kita returned his smile and nodded her head slowly as she walked toward him. “I’ll get lunch started so when you come back it will be ready, and tell everyone I said Hi and send my love.”Gin nodded, “Just feed yourself, Dearie~. You know Tessai will end up feeding me.” Kita smiled, tiptoeing up and kissing his cheek softly “Then I guess I will see you when you get home.” Gin could see the melancholy in her eyes as she turned from him, he caught her hand in his and gently tugged her back to him. “Are you going to be alright? If you need me to stay I will. I can always go later to talk to Urahara.”Kita’s head shook giving him a weak smile, “I will be fine,” she patted his chest gently, “Go talk to Kisuke and hurry back.” She kissed his lips softly and turned to the kitchen once more, only to be captured again and pulled back into Gin’s arms. “I don’t like leaving you with what I saw in Soul Society and now you're acting the same way here at home.” He cupped her cheek, lifting her head to look into her eyes. “What’s wrong?”Kita wore another weak smile, trying to force a happier one across her lips. She ended up sighing, “Go to the shop and talk to Kisuke. I will talk to you when you get back, I promise.” She patted his chest again. “Don’t hurry too much though, I want to drown myself in the tub, see if I can relax a little.”"No drowning allowed unless we're playing in the water, dearie."She giggled softly giving him a genuine smile, "so I can drown if we're together in the water?""You can try but I'll rescue you. Kind of boring to play alone." He kissed her forehead. "Are you sure you'll be okay?"Her head nodded her smile still on her lips. "I will be fine," she tiptoed up and kissed him softly, "Go, so you can come back to me.""I'll be quick." Gin lingered for a moment longer, hand on her waist, before disappearing in a quiet shunpo.Kita stood there looking, at nothing, it was only a trail of Gin's energy as he left the house. Finally bringing herself back to reality she turned and grabbed two things. A wine glass and the chilled bottle of wine in the refrigerator. She then turned and headed toward the bathroom climbing the stairs toward the bathroom. Reaching the bathroom she entered closing and locking the door behind her. She was going to enjoy this soak and the peace that filled the house.~END RP~ "Time To Share; Part II"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 461 “Time to Share; Part II”: Kita's bath did little to calm her nerves, though the wine was doing wonders; after her third glass anyway. Sitting in her robe on the couch, a wine bottle on the coffee table, and the wine glass in her hand she sipped at her fourth glass of wine. It had been a little over an hour and Gin still had not returned. She looked over at the clock hanging on the wall. It was ten after one in the afternoon.
Afternoon. Lunchtime. It had done passed and she still had not eaten, but she was not hungry either. She looked over at the baby monitor, Kadaji was still sound asleep, but that was to be expected since he was the one who pulled her from her bath no more than 20 minutes after she relaxed back into the warm water of her soak. The house was silent--almost an eerie silence--so silent it was all she was focusing on that very second. She shivered setting her glass on the table, rubbing her arms, then got up from her location on the couch, walked over to the radio, and turned it on. The melody of the song filled the room. She swayed back and forth making her way back to her drink. She picked up her glass and started dancing alone to the music. She had no clue how long she danced alone, but she did fill her glass once more before she heard the front door open and half her drink was consumed.
She turned, a wide bright smile crossed her lips as she watched her heart and soul walk through the door. "Did you have a good chat with the Shopkeeper?"

“Of course I did,” the fox purred, “though it took too much of my time.”
Gin returned later than he had planned after seeing Kita’s melancholy, but there was a lot to discuss with Vacanze and Gin had always been meticulous about anything. Then, Kisuke had found them and insisted on joining in the exchange. At least, the lab was soundproof. He didn’t know how long he could keep this plan undiscovered, but he would have been quite irritated if the scheme was revealed two days later. As long as Aizen remained in his cell, he should keep the upper hand.
But he finally put his hands up and ran home. He didn’t know what to expect with his delay, but it wasn’t this. It seemed Kita had, once more, thrown his expectations out the window. He blinked at the swaying woman standing in the center of the room, her cheeks blooming with an uneven but eye-catching blush. Clothed in a robe, her damp hair free around her shoulders, and holding a half-empty wine glass, she commanded the room in a soft allure Gin hadn’t seen in a long, long time.
Since a time that still seemed more of a dream than anything real, when they had made Sojiro together, in a tucked-away oasis.
To be honest, he didn’t think this would be the position he found her. The last time she had started crying, she’d been curled up on the bed with the baby clothes. Hiding. Grieving. Finding her drinking and dancing was a much better alternative.
He regained his confidence and took the glass from her, wrapping his other arm around her. “Looks like you’re doing better, dearie.

"I'm... Clear. It amazing what alcohol can do for ones nerves and thoughts," she tiptoed up and kissed his cheek, both her hands on his shoulders to hold her balance. When she wavered, Gin placed his hands on her hips and held her steady. "Thank you," she grinned and went flat-footed once more, but that did not help as she wavered slightly.
Her hand drew to the side of her head. "I think I need to sit down."
He snickered. "It seems so. I think someone forgot that she's not good at drinking. Close your eyes." She did and Gin carefully lifted her into his arms and carried her swiftly to the couch, sitting down in the middle with her in his lap. He retrieved the wineglass after, stealing a sip. "So who gave you the bottle this time, love?"
Kita giggled, "General Electric." she continued to giggle, "I hope you're not disappointed. I needed a cease halt on my thoughts and emotions." she brushed his bangs from his eyes. A bad idea. Her heart clenched in her chest her body turned ridged as the scar on his forehead let a memory in she wanted to forget. That's all it took as everything she was trying to stop thinking about rushed back into her mind.
She quickly looked away from Gin, across the room. "I'm sorry." She bit her bottom lip.

Gin’s mood cooled with the pained expression that sunk into her eyes but kept calm. He didn’t move away. Instead after setting the glass down, he pulled Kita tight into his arms, setting his head against her shoulder. “I’ve told you before, dearest, that I don’t need to hear those words."
"But you do," she slowly turned to look at him, shame and regret written on her face. "For 16 years I have caused you pain that could have been avoided if I was not such a bitch." A single tear trickled down her cheek. "How can you look at me without hating me?" She wiped at the tear on her cheek.
Gin's temper threatened to rise at her name calling, disliking this particular insult almost as much as another he had warned her against since their return. The ring glittering on her finger stalled him. Gave him a moment to pause. He wiped at her eyelid as her emotions threatened to spill over again. "The way I remember it, dearie," he said, trying to keep his voice neutral, "it was me that was being cruel, not you, in the beginning."
He didn't know what had started this but maybe by slowly following her, it would help.
He could do that.

"You were mean to me for a reason, and that reason was because I was being difficult. I ran away from you and Las Noches because--" she cut herself short and shook her head as she cast her eyes down to her lap. "Because my heart was breaking."
"I was forced to have sex with a man I had a huge crush on." She looked back up at Gin, "Do you realize the guilt I felt because I feel in love with you because of that night, and I knew your heart belonged to--" tears pooled in the corners of her eyes as she fell silent once more. Her guilt had never ceased, she always felt bad about what happened between her and Gin.
She knew it had to hurt Rangiku as much as it hurt Tsukiro, and she could not let go of that guilt and one of the two she hurt, she could no longer apologize to, thanks to Aizen.
"I don't know what Sumi told you about the first time she locked away my memories, but that guilt was the one thing that was ripping me apart worse than anything else."

Gin leaned back as she continued her confession but didn’t remove her from his lap, a slight frown marring his face, maybe irritated, definitely in turmoil. They had rarely spoken of the circumstances that had brought them together. When she still loved Tsukiro. When he had said farewell to Rangiku but taken a piece of her soul with him to Hell. Only to be faced with a cruel, unthinkable game from the beginning.
A question from long ago, that demonstrated the beginning between them echoed in his mind.
“Can you promise me that, Kita? To protect yourself and not the friend who condemned you to this?"
She could not. He was her Master, and that was the bond he’d formed from their friendship to give her a lifeline in the Hell of Las Noches. When Sumi locked away some of her soul, tempering his resolve. When Aizen attempted to wipe away more and Sumi made it real, leaving him a cold, vengeful villain that could even whip her to near death. Each step by Aizen pushed him to put her through more pain, staining his hands once more, and each time, he pushed that dependency to keep her from fading even further.
Sometimes he succeeded and sometimes, something broke inside him. He protected himself from none of it as he had in the first war. He let her use him as her bloody shield and her scapegoat for all that went wrong there. He knew he could lose her after.
It was the only thing he could offer her as a friend in that despicable place.
Gin wiped at the tears spilling from her eyes. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know all of the details. You shut yourself away so quickly and Sumi told me that the Brat-Tsuki-” he paused as she flinched, hunching in his lap. “Kita?” He sighed when she stayed silent and pulled her back into his arms, waiting a few more minutes as tears slid down his neck as she shuddered against him. He ducked his head, swallowing against a stone in his throat. “She said helping you could cost my life. I said I didn’t care. I hoped it was my tattered soul on the line. And if you hated me after, that was alright. For a long time, I didn’t think I would keep you at the end.”

Kita sniffled and wiped at her wet cheeks, she slowly lifted her head and looked into Gin's eyes. "I know you were not there for all the hurt I endured, be it physical and/or mental," she sniffled and wiped away another falling tear as she bit her bottom lip. "But you were," she let her right-hand rest over her heart, "here. You were my," she fought back the tears, "you were my everything. I never held ill will towards you except in the beginning," she turned away from him ashamed of what she was about to say.
"I hated you. I hated you for what you became. I hated you for what you had done and what you were doing to me. The only thing that played in my mind was your words, 'I am not a nice person'. My heart was broken, only able to process the lies between us, and I was a fool and fell in love with you all because of that one moment between us."
He stroked her cheek, not letting her pull too far away. "I know you hated me then. I could hear it, and maybe I didn't understand the details, but that would have been fine. I wanted you to trust me, but more than that, I needed you to survive. And when the only way to keep you sane was use our bond, I exploited it. It wasn't love then, dearie, not yet. But it still was something I pushed on you. At least in the beginning. I don't know when I stopped using our friendship as a tool or it was always a beacon of light between us. A reminder."
She cupped his cheek, her head nodding slowly. "It was a long time until you saw me in a different light. Not even after the conception of our son or even his birth did your feelings change. You just got more protective of me, and I understand that. You belonged to another, and I was fine with that." Her head shook as she looked to the floor. "I don't even know why I got so jealous when I found you with Yumiko." She held back her tears. Even though what she was saying was true it did not make the sting of that moment any less painful. "You did not belong to me no matter how much I wished it."

Gin’s eyes narrowed and he tightened his grip around her. “You’re wrong, Kita. My feelings did change, and even if they did, it was selfish of me to respond. Me not you, dearest. You are the one who wasn’t free. I ended my relationship with- with Rangiku by stabbing her with Shinsou. I hoped to keep a friendship with her, but I chose to cut her off from our unbroken promise. You, on the other hand, had no memories of your time at the shop, of your ....blooming emotions for Ashimitsu… because Aizen wanted to hurt me and nearly took your soul away by wiping it away! And even if Sumi locked away those memories, she let the friendship remain. I was the only thing she allowed you!”
He dropped his head to her shoulder, hiding his own expression, trying to let her miss the pain of going down this path again. Last time they’d talked, both at the oasis and then after her fall from the shopkeeper’s roof, she’d absolved him, but she still didn’t remember everything. Had they always been avoiding this?
He considered the multitude of vows to this woman or for this woman and forced himself to finish, tucked against her. “It might have been for both our sakes. But still, I denied you, I denied myself for so long because I didn’t deserve you. And because you weren’t mine.”
Gin stopped his rant, teeth audibly grinding.
But one more thing slipped out, the bitter, heartfelt words he meant to keep to himself.
"And I still can let you go if you want that chance now that you're free of Las Noches. I- I won't go far, but I won't keep you..."
You gave me everything. I will be alright.... alone.

Kita's heart clenched in her chest. No! she screamed in her head. Nonononono...you can't leave me. I won't let you... Her hands went quickly to each side of his face, lifting his head to look at her. Fear raced through her body, her heart pounding against her chest. The words she was thinking slipped from between your lips.
"No!...you can't leave me. I won't let you..." her hands were trembling as she held his face between them. "After all these years I am not losing you to something as stupid as my insecurities."
"They're not stupid," Gin murmured. He lifted his hands and squeezed hers, trying to hide the tremors in his own hands. "It's natural after so much has been taken from you. No one will blame you. Not even-"
"STOP IT!" she screamed.
Gin blinked away the miasma and winced at the tears shining down her cheeks.
"Don't go trying to walk away for my sake! Do. Not."
Gin sighed and set his forehead against hers. "I don't want to, but I don't want you hurting either. I want whatever will heal you. Whether or not I'm a part of that. I'm sorry if that seems wrong, my love."
"Leaving me," her head shook, "will not help. It will only make this worse. After all these years, you has become an extension of me, and I have dangerously attached myself to you. I truly don’t think I could live without you, Gin. I have become that reliant on you being in my life." Her head shook quickly, "I don't care how desperate or crazy I sound, but please. Please, promise me you will never leave me."

Gin sighed and pulled back. He cupped her face to look deep into her panicked gaze. "That is never something you have to worry about, Kita. Not as long as you need or want me." A slight smirk followed his promise. "Even if you want me to make room for someone else, I wouldn't be going far. I'd be somewhere close by. After all, you're my favorite person. I'd be too bored if I ignored you."
He kissed her eyelids, hoping his teasing tone eased some of the fear riding her. As much as he worried about the depth of her reliance on him — something he had always agonized over as much as he craved her trust — he didn’t think it would be something he could break or calm unless the realms gave them enough peace for her step away from his shadow. He'd already seen what happened when they'd lost each other once, that descent into madness…
He held her close. Never again.
"Trust me, dearie. This isn't something I want to walk away from."
