After what she had told him, she was relived to hear his thoughts about her had not changed. She relaxed in his arms, her stress so high it felt more like she was melting into him. He has always made her feel safe, appreciated, and even though he had never said it until a few days ago. Loved. After telling Gin her well kept secrets about him, and his feelings nor his thoughts about her had changed. She felt like everything else that happened to her in Las Noches was water under the bridge, and very capable of being dealt with without issues. After all...
She sat up on Gin's lap, turned, swung her leg over his lap and straddled him. She straightened her robe keeping it closed in front so not to flash Gin, her hands then lifted resting on his shoulders as she smiled warmly, her cheeks were still warm from the alcohol she consumed. "I don't blame you for anything that happened in Las Noches. If I have told you that once I have told you a thousand times. All the blame solely belongs to Aizen. Even if the act was committed by me or even you. It was Aizen that pushed us down that path. I don't want you to think for even a second that I blame you for anything that man has done to us."

Gin brushed at her teary eyes. “Easier said than done when all is said and done, dearie. It’s always simpler when there’s no alternative. But when all is calm, when you’re supposed to be happy, regrets have a way of creeping in, with or without the scars.” He halted, hand still against her cheek, and then bent to retrieve the wineglass, offering her a sip and wiping away the red drips afterwards.
His fingers rubbed at the liquid, expression lowered over his bangs. To be honest, he usually preferred sake in the aftermath. Wine was too red, more often than not. He drained it and set it aside.
“I don’t think you need more of that right now.”

"My only regrets were what I--We...had done to Tsukiro and Rangiku and the feelings I had for you in the beginning. Everything felt like such a betrayal." She looked deep into his ice blue eyes. She felt as if something were bothering him as well.
"Can you share with me?" She tipped her head to one side, "I am here for you, just like your here for me."

Gin didn’t reply immediately, hesitating, and glanced to his fingers. Some of the wine had left a red smudge but it was faint, barely discernible to him. But then again, that color in general faded away over time in each war unless his emotions turned it thick and red. As it had when Aizen had broken her that terrible night, when Izuru had called him back from whipping Kita to near death, and when …Rangiku’s blood spayed over him.
Ran.
Could he say that her death was his greatest regret?
Would he be a terrible person if that wasn’t where most of his nightmares turned?
Kadaj crying out broke the moment and Gin breathed out as Kita turned in that direction.
He still owed her a reply. “Not yet, my love.”

Kita's smile faded some with his reply, but she understood and It was something she was used to when it came to Gin talking about his emotions or his past. She patted his chest tenderly and stood from his lap.
She leaned forward and kissed the top of his head. "I understand, I am going to go check on the little one," she stood back and looked down at the man in front of her then turned walking toward the staircase. "Wouldn't hurt if I got dressed too, Sojiro should be home soon."
She started up the stairs still talking to Gin, "Why don't you see what you can find for us to have for dinner tonight. I'll be back down to get it started in a bit." She stopped at the top of the steps and looked back at Gin, his head nodding slightly.
She then continued on her way to Kadaj's room as Gin headed for the kitchen.~END RP~ "Handsome Rescuer"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 474 “For Your Own Good”: (continued) Aizen stepped into the Miyamoto home, immediately confronted by the shimmering barrier of Kita’s shield. He couldn’t suppress a soft chuckle, recognizing her technique. She had constructed it like a Danku, shielding herself only from the front. Kita raised her hand, ready to strike. In response, Aizen slowly lifted his hands to shoulder height in a gesture of surrender. “I need you to listen to me, Kita.” “And why the hell would I do that?” Kita's voice was sharp and unyielding.“Because you’re in danger, Kita. I am only here to help you,” Aizen emphasized, his tone earnest. Kita laughed, shaking her head in disbelief. “You and Sumi must have had a nice chat. She told me the same thing yesterday.”“She was trying to protect you,” Aizen's hands remained raised, his posture non-threatening. “Yeah, well, I walked away unscathed yesterday. I promise I will walk away from this too.”Aizen shook his head, his expression serious. “What is happening now is not what is putting you in danger. I can help you right here, right now, but you have to drop your shield. I need you to trust me.” Kita's laugh was loud and mocking. “Trust you? I am not that foolish little girl anymore, Aizen. Try harder.”Aizen sighed deeply, lowering his hands. “Kita, I know I don’t deserve your trust, but if things continue like this, it will only be a matter of time before your life is in jeopardy. Please,” Aizen’s voice softened, nearly pleading. “Drop your shield.”

Szayel entered the home from the back, moving with the precision and stealth of a shadow. His footsteps were silent as he snuck up behind Kita, making sure not to draw her attention. He listened intently to Lord Aizen as he pleaded with Kita, but she only laughed off his words of warning.“I was warned by Yumiko of your charm. It’s nearly as impeccable as your manipulation. So beg all you want, Aizen. This is as close as you will be getting to me,” Kita retorted, her voice dripping with defiance. Szayel observed Aizen's sigh and slight nod, recognizing his cue to act. With calculated precision, Szayel tossed the Caja Negación above her head, softly speaking the incantation that would trigger its capture mechanism.
“Fukumu.”
As the vessel spun to face him, her expression was a mix of confusion and betrayal. She raised her hand, but she was too late. The Caja Negación activated, sweeping her into its containment. Szayel approached the fallen cube, lifting it from the floor and peering inside. He saw Kita fall to her knees, her hands covering her face as she wept.
The sound of Aizen moving caught Szayel’s attention. He turned to his master. “Was this really necessary, my Lord? Couldn’t you have just informed your brother of the dangers she was in? He could have helped her.”Aizen reached out and took hold of the Caja Negación, slipping it into the sleeve of his kimono. “My brother is the one who did this to her. Why would he undo what he had done?” Aizen's voice was cold and resolute as he turned to leave the home. “We should go. Her reiatsu is fading quickly.” He paused, then added, “Return to Las Noches.” “Las Noches is no more, my Lord.” Szayel shook his head, watching as Aizen stopped and turned to face him. “We have been forced to retreat to the tunnels.”“Hmm,” Aizen hummed thoughtfully, his mind clearly working through this new information. “Then return to your lab, and I will contact you soon. We will discuss this at a later date.” “Yes,” Szayel bowed deeply, “my Lord.”
With that, the two parted ways, Aizen heading off with purpose, and Szayel returning to the park to wait for his fellow Espada and Ayakashi. The mission had succeeded, but their actions' implications lingered heavily in the air.--END RP-- “Benevolent Act”

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 470 "Setting the Pace": (continued) Kisuke and Seto rushed through the streets of Karakura, the roaring pulse of adrenaline in their veins. The urgency of the situation, and the weight of their concern for Kita driving them faster. Arriving at the Miyamoto home, they wasted no time. Kisuke, with his usual nonchalance replaced by seriousness, pushed open the door with a swift, forceful motion. The scene that met them inside was one of eerie stillness and absence.
"Kita?" Kisuke called out, his voice echoing through the empty space. There was no response, only the unsettling silence that followed his words.Seto moved past Kisuke, his sharp eyes scanning the room for any signs of recent activity. "She's not here," he stated, his tone laced with frustration and worry. Kisuke moved further into the home, his eyes darting around as he sought clues. "It doesn't make sense," he muttered. "Aizen and Szayel were here, I can feel their energy everywhere, but Aizen. How?"Seto's hands clenched into fists at his sides. "Because it's not fucking Aizen in your holding cell!!" He growled, the guilt evident in his voice. "It's fucking Duplo or whatever the fuck his name is!!" Kisuke glanced at Seto, his mind churning over the details. "They didn't use the Godly gate. I feel no spiritual residue of it being used." He continued walking through the room.Seto nodded then heard his son cry out from the room on the second floor. Quickly Seto headed upstairs. Kisuke, meanwhile, examined the room for any traces of spiritual residue. Stopping more toward the center of the room Kisuke stopped in his search, his eyes narrowed. "A Caja Negación," he murmured, "the bastards used a Caja Negación on her."Seto was walking down the stairs with Kadaj in his arms. "Makes sense, it's the only way he could have taken her so quickly and quietly." Kisuke nodded, his mind already forming a plan. "I think we need to have a talk with a certain Espada."Seto looked at Kisuke, determination blazing in his eyes. "We'll find her, Kisuke. We have to." Kisuke's gaze was steely as he met Seto's. "Yes, we will."

Seto gently rocked Kadaj in his arms. "Well...In the meantime...I need you to tell me more about the Hogyoku."
"What about it?" asked Kisuke.
"Like...Can it evolve? Is it truly capable of that? Because the one in Shosei's chest seems to have done just that. It spoke to me. It has a voice."
"Any living thing can evolve and advance. This fundamental principle of life applies even to the most arcane and mystical entities," Kisuke began, his voice carrying a weight of profound knowledge. "After centuries of being with Aizen and merging with a second Hogyoku, its evolution has been extraordinary. The Hogyoku, exposed to Aizen's influence and ambition, has undoubtedly adapted and transformed. It's no longer just an artifact of immense power; it has become something more."
He paused, allowing the gravity of his words to settle in. "I am sure it has learned how to communicate," he continued, his tone serious. "The Hogyoku, through its symbiotic relationship with Aizen, has likely developed a sentience of its own. It has absorbed not only his spiritual energy but also his desires and intellect. This fusion has given rise to a form of intelligence within the Hogyoku, enabling it to understand and interact with the world around it in ways we could never have imagined."
Kisuke's gaze was intense as he conveyed his thoughts. "This is not just speculation. We've seen hints of this capability in its ability to respond to Aizen's will, to grant his wishes. But now, I believe it has taken a step further. The Hogyoku has evolved into a conscious entity, capable of communication and perhaps even manipulation. We must approach it with caution and respect, for it is no longer just a tool but a living, thinking being."
Seto blinked slowly as he patted Kadaj's back. "That was very pretentious bastard of you..." he chuckled. "It's admitted as much to me. But, I wanted to confirm. As far as it's desires go...It says it doesn't have any." Seto grew quiet. He looked to Urahara as he thought on his conversation today and the days before.

Kisuke chuckled softly at Seto's remark, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Well, you know me, Seto. Sometimes a bit of pretentiousness is necessary to get the point across," he replied, his tone light but his eyes serious. He watched as Seto grew quiet, clearly reflecting on his recent conversation with the Hogyoku.
"Admitted as much, did it?" Kisuke mused, his interest piqued. "The fact that it communicates with you so directly is fascinating, to say the least. As for its desires—or lack thereof—that's intriguing." He paused, considering the implications of Seto's words.
"The Hogyoku claiming it doesn't have desires could be a defense mechanism or a way to mask its true intentions," Kisuke continued thoughtfully. "Or perhaps it's true, and its purpose is solely to serve the will of its master, devoid of personal ambitions. But we must be cautious. The absence of stated desires doesn't necessarily mean it lacks influence or agency."
Kisuke's gaze met Seto's, his expression turning more serious. "If it truly doesn't have desires, then it functions purely as a conduit, amplifying the will of whoever wields it. That makes it incredibly powerful and potentially dangerous, as it can magnify both the noble and the malevolent intentions of its possessor."
He leaned back slightly, tapping his chin in thought. "In any case, we should continue to observe and interact with it carefully. Understanding its nature and capabilities is crucial, especially if we're to counteract any unforeseen consequences of its actions."
Kisuke's eyes softened as he looked at Seto. "You've done well to establish this communication, Seto. Let's keep probing, cautiously and respectfully. The more we learn, the better we can handle whatever comes our way." Kisuke sighed as he looked around the house, his expression thoughtful and somber. "For now, keeping Kita's Hogyoku hidden is the wisest course of action. Its location must remain a secret, known to no one. If it were to be discovered and merge with the Hogyoku you spoke with, the consequences could be... catastrophic." His voice trailed off, leaving the gravity of his words hanging in the air.

"Well, see...The intrigue grows. It chose to lie to me." Seto shook his head. "It's something Shosei said. He has plans...His name will be Masami and he'll change the worlds."
"What else did he say?" questioned Kisuke.
"That's all it's said to me in that conversation. But outside of it, right before the Ayakashi came and ripped the Hogyoku from Aizen's chest...I could hear a voice in my head. It kept asking if I wanted to help Aizen again." Seto felt a pain in the center of his chest again. "Then when I was fighting Sada, I...I could hear the voice again. It asked what it would do to beat Sada."
"Well, it seems to be connected to you somehow. Don't break that connection, we might need it later down the road," Kisuke commented.
"I don't want that connection. I don't know why I have it. And, I'm tired of being used by things beyond me." Seto looked down at Kadaj and smiled. "But, I'll do what I need to help Kita." Seto looked to Kisuke as he nodded. "I have another question, Urahara. Is it possible that the Hogyoku has been making moves longer that we think?"
"It is possible. How far back are you thinking?"
"The Ayakashi. I'm not saying that hollows couldn't have pushed the boundaries of their evolution naturally. But, what if it were the work of the Hogyoku. Vacanze, the Twins...Koga...It's the Hogyoku..."

Kisuke turned to Seto, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully. "It facilitated the evolution of Vasto Lorde into Espada, so it stands to reason it could also bring about the evolution of Espada into Ayakashi," he mused, rubbing his chin as he delved deeper into his thoughts. "That would explain Vacanze's and Koga's transformations. It all adds up." He glanced at Seto, the gears in his mind visibly turning. "The process is likely complex and fraught with risks, but the potential for such an evolution isn't far-fetched. What we're seeing could very well be the next stage in their development."Seto nodded as he began to pace the hallway. "So...Why are you still standing here? Go get Kita. You know where he took her, right? Go get her. Go get her, Kisuke..." Kisuke chuckled, shaking his slightly lowered head as he adjusted his hat. "I wish I knew where he took her. Las Noches is no more, and I doubt he could enter the Soul Society. As for the human realm, I have no idea where he would take refuge."
He looked at Seto, his expression serious. "Our only and best lead right now is Loki—if that bastard is still in his cell."Seto's frustration was palpable. "Then what the hell are you waiting for? Go talk to Duplo! Find her!" he demanded. Kisuke sighed, his mind already racing ahead. "I'll head back to the shop and see what I can uncover. Stay here and keep an eye on things. Explained to Ichimaru what took place." With that, Kisuke turned, the weight of the situation pressing heavily on his shoulders as he disappeared from the house and headed back to the shop.--END RP-- “Kimono Conundrum”

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: The ChaosEpisode 518 "Untitled": Kisuke strolled up to the modest home where Kita and her family lived, his geta clacking against the wooden path with an almost playful rhythm. A cool breeze tugged at his striped hat as he tipped it back slightly, revealing a gleam in his eyes. He knocked softly on the door, waiting for a response.
When Kita opened the door, he leaned against the frame, smirking. "Kita, you’ll never guess who’s cooking up trouble again.""Let me guess. You?" She grinned, and turned, gesturing for Kisuke to follow.Kisuke chuckled and pushed off the door frame, entering the house as he closed the door behind him. "No, it's Mayuri and he's got this idea—and, it involves you." His tone was light, but the gravity of the conversation to come lingered in the air.

"It involves me?" Kita’s brow furrowed slightly as she settled onto the couch, her fingers absently brushing the teapot’s handle before pouring. "What could Captain Kurotsuchi possibly want with me?"
Kisuke gave a small, amused chuckle and leaned forward, accepting the tea she handed him. “Oh, you know Mayuri—if it breathes or doesn't breathe, he’s interested. But this time it’s less about you and more about what you know.” He took a delicate sip, savoring the tea’s warmth before continuing. "You heard about the Twelfth Division’s Research and Development building, right? Seems our dear friends from Hueco Mundo decided to do a little, uh… redecorating."
Kita froze, her eyes widening in disbelief. “The Espada took Captain Kurotsuchi’s lab?!” Her shock was palpable as she handed Kisuke his cup of tea, trying to make sense of what he was saying. “Why in the name of the Soul King would they do that? It’s one thing if Szayel had some vendetta, but to seize it? How?!” She picked up her own cup, trying to steady her thoughts as she processed the revelation.

Kisuke let out a soft sigh, swirling his tea lazily in the cup. “Oh, Szayel’s always been jealous of Mayuri’s toys, but this? This wasn’t his doing alone. They didn’t just want his research; they wanted the whole playground."
His gaze sharpened, though his tone remained infuriatingly light. “Mayuri’s not exactly thrilled about it, as you can imagine. And that’s where you come in, dear Kita. He’s thinking of rebuilding… with a few upgrades.”
Kita raised an eyebrow, taking a sip of her tea before setting the cup back down with a soft clink. "Upgrades? And somehow, I’m involved in that plan?" Her tone was skeptical, though there was a flicker of concern beneath her calm exterior. “You can tell Mayuri I’m not exactly lining up to be part of his twisted science projects.”
Kisuke chuckled, waving a hand dismissively. “Now, now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Mayuri’s not looking for a new test subject—well, not yet, anyway.” He leaned back on the couch, crossing his legs and balancing his cup on one knee. “He’s more interested in your… let’s say, unique position in all this.” His voice dropped a little, taking on a conspiratorial tone. “See, you’ve been off the radar for a while, tucked away here. Which means you’ve managed to avoid certain eyes—eyes that would be more than curious about what happened with the Hogyoku."
