Ulquiorra turned fully and caught her gleaming eyes. "Indeed. And it is your fate to do so." Slowly, he removed a hand from his jacket. "Because of your wish, you have the powers of a Goddess. And many rules have fallen beneath you. You intrigued the soul reapers who should be nothing but shadows and you broke the order of Las Noches to claim a place amongst the powerful. The truth is that even if you wear the weak shell of one, you are no longer a human."

Kita nodded to the Fourth. "I will surpass. I will get to where I am needed to achieve my dreams." Her hands then dropped to her side clenching into fists, "damn him!" She growled as she stepped toward Ulquiorra.
"It will be months before I can do anything. I do the man a favor trying to give him true Arrancar that will be stronger and he damages my main source of power." She spun looking at Ulquiorra after she passed him. "I need Sumi for this. I can't do it alone." She paused in thought a wide smirk appearing again. "Or can I?" She looked at Ulquiorra with an assessing look.

Ulquiorra blinked and then returned to his current objective, leading her back to his quarters. “You can’t get anywhere, woman, until you climb higher. Take your current weakness as a lesson. Your attitude towards the Lord of this realm and his property will not be tolerated. Even if you are gifted, his word is law. Earn his approval with the means at your disposal and there are ways you can start your destruction sooner rather than later.”

"I don't do stupid. It annoys me, and I don't do well with people trying to control me. I have a mind of my own and I am very capable of using it. I am sorry that I get an attitude when I have to deal with this stuff." She grew silent for a second as they rounded a corner walking down a new hall.
"I don't disagree with what Aizen is doing. I disagree with the way he is going about it. There is a much simpler way without destroying everything in his path and his creations of the Arrancar," she blew a raspberry as she turned her look from Ulquiorra. "What fool does not know that if you let something grow and evolve naturally it will be stronger." She looked back to Ulquiorra.
"You, Starrk, Halibel and the Ayakashi are living proof. The Hogyoku was not needed."

“Tell me, woman, how long would you be willing to wait to fulfill your wish? Decades? Maybe. Centuries? Even if the Goddess could sustain you that long, your strength would be questionable with your human shell. “ He held out a hand. “ The top four espada were created from centuries of darkness so long we no longer know our age. The ayakashi are even older. But still, time exists to us. There is no telling how long it would take to find or shape more. That was the reason for the Hougyoku.”
His hand slid into his jacket again, eyes dark. “We come from the masses, devouring the weak and broken, but in the end, before Aizen’s coming, we were alone. The Hougyoku ended that, too. For what good it did us.” Ulquiorra walked onwards and refused to speak further.

"Consequences of Perilous Actions": (continued) Gin didn't get far from his room. Tangling with the ayakashi, living through the beating of Tervaden, even with the emergency health pills Kisuke had fashioned long, long ago, his energy levels were low. Slipping into a secret passage, Gin closed both panels and slumped to the ground, blood leaking from various wounds. He scratched at the whiplash around his neck, yet again. He hated that weapon. After the itch faded, he let his hand fall, rubbing the blood off with the new kimono he'd wrapped around the old. Tugging the clothing over himself, eyes like glass closed. His eerie smile remained. It seemed fitting after all that had happened that he was back in the dark, on the verge of life, closer to death.
He chuckled. "But only once close enough to taste the end."
When his world had gone sideways because Aizen had chosen to kill him. Because the road had ended. And yet, there was a black cat, a striped hat, and curious blue eyes on the other side.
Damn them...

It was not long after Kita had left the room, and following Gin's trail of angary reiatsu, she had found him. She was not sure of his state of mind, but at this point she did not care. She had to talk to him. After her cruel words. After the ring that kept coming back to her, and finally realizing where the ring was coming from. She had to talk to him. At least she had to try.
Sliding the panel on the wall she entered slowly. Darkness surround her as she stepped in the small corrode the only light was that of the hall and that was not much. She looked around seeing a figure hunched down to the floor many feet down from where she stood. Slowly she made her way toward it. It was Gin; she knew it was. Stopping next to him she reached out to touch him stopping short. Her hand drawing back slowly.
"Gin..." She spoke ever so softly to him.

It was the tone of her voice that saved her - if he could hurt her, that was. The head of matted hair rolled and the grin turned upwards as he looked at the woman who had stolen so much from him. Who had given so much in return...
"When I said go, I didn't mean follow me, dearie," he stated, tone attempting to toss the words carelessly but falling far, far short. His head fell back down. "What is it?"
Kita cut right to the chase. There was no time to beat around the bush, and if truth be know she was tired of beating the bush. "I am sorry. My words were cruel. I was mad, hurt and I wanted to hurt you as badly as you did me." She reached into her pocket lifting the ring out she held it down so he could see what she had. "Why didn't you tell me?" her tears started to fall once more.
Gin raised a shaky hand and brushed a tear away. "About what?" he asked. "You fading from my side or the dumb- small promise ring I had someone make?" He sighed and his hand fell again, his hair shifting to completely hide his eyes. "Because I didn't deserve to," he breathed out. "Never did, never will."

Kita squatted down next to him as she reached out for him stopping short again. She was afraid to touch him. She was afraid that if she did; she would never stop and she would never let him go again, but she was still upset with him. He should have came and talked to her even if he had to tie her to a chair to do so. Not went and had fun with Yumiko and Aizen.
Finally, her arm extended, her hand brushing his matted hair aside. Her tears started to fall faster as she whispered to him. "I will always love you." She bit her bottom lip hard fighting back the sobs that wanted to break through. "You hurt me, and I am mad at you, but I never stopped loving you. Never could I do that. You're my life." She bit down on her bottom lip harder causing it to start bleeding. "You were right. I pushed you away. I caused this to happen. I hope one day you can forgive me for this and my cruel words to you."
He remained silent for sometime never saying a word to her. She knew that was her cue as she sighed softly, she leaned forward kissing the side of his head gently. "I am sorry, Gin." She stood sliding the ring back into her pocket as she turned. "I will pack my things and get them out of your room. The ring I will leave on your nightstand."

"Don't you fucking dare," he hissed, whirling around and bearing her to the ground.
Before she could gasp in pain or to tell him to get off, Gin was devouring her, tongue probing the contours of her mouth before plunging and stroking her sweet points, his lips releasing hers only to move across the wounds on her revealed body, nuzzling into her chest. As she let out a long cry, his eyes tightened and he hauled her up, cradling her in his lap. He kissed her again, breathing harsh. His eyes madly aflame with pain and stark need.
"I'm sorry, too. My actions were wrong, on more than one level." His arms squeezed her. "I will not touch you. You...can do what you want. But ...don't hurt yourself. And don't leave the ring behind." --END RP-- "Mine":

"Wanderlust":After setting up the first console in his empty room and configuring the wires and monitor, Gin decided to take a stroll. This reclaiming of his property was a good move on his part, but then again, it did remind him of something that didn’t seem quite right. Or someone.
Kita.
The spirited human whose curiosity was second to the shopkeeper’s and who never took back her promise to befriend him. Who was now deep, deep in the machinations of Las Noches.
Dragging him …. Back to the lies. Aizen. And threats. Tervaden. And also blood.
He smirked momentarily, recalling the dark bliss that had descended on him given a proper victim. Once again, Kita had proven to be that. His smirk faded. Even if she had cried.
And swore to be his wife.
Gin swirled down the next hallway.
And halted as Kita turned the corner in front of him, her attire just kind of tossed together, including a belt that had to come from a different outfit. She was distressed. And alone. Gin grinned. Perfect.
“Had too much of Tervaden’s attention, dearie?” he purred.

Seeing Gin panic caught hold of Kita again after she was finally starting to settle slightly. He was not one she wanted to see, but then again, she wish she could run into his arms like so many times in the past and he comfort her. Not any more. Gin believed she betrayed him thanks to Aizen and now Gin truly did look down on her.
She turned away from him as he made his approach on her. He could not know. He couldn't. He spoke of Sojiro belonging to another man. If he believed it or the thought was there. Finding out she was with child would only clench the thought of Sojiro even more. She had to avoid him, but how?
"Please just leave me alone, Gin."

Gin quickened his pace. “Why, dearie, when we’re on such good terms?” He cornered her against a wall and set a hand above her head. She flinched. Gin chuckled. “Come now, Kita, where’s the fight you’re know for? Did I really destroy it in one fell swoop?” He reached for her shoulder to turn her around and tipped her head up by her chin. “Hmmm?” he prompted, eyes glittering.

She shook her head freeing herself of his grasp. "That fire has went nowhere. I just have a lot on my mind right now and I am not in the mood to have to try and defend myself against you accusations. I have done nothing wrong, but in your mind and thanks to Aizen. Doubt has been placed."
She turned her look from him as a lonely tear trickled down her cheek. "Please. Just... go."

Gin’s grin froze and he wiped the tear away. “If only you were this easy to get rid of years ago, dearie, you’d have never been in this position.” Hs stood off the wall. “Go on then, if that is what you desire. But you really should reconsider your statement about having fire.” He paused, looking down at her, and sneered, “I see none of it.”
Gin spun around to return to his room. She was only making him mad.
