Rangiku looked to Kita, watching her and the way she interacted with the man laying between them. Her words and how she spoke of Gin. Never an ill tone or foul word came from her lips. Kita was in love. She was in love with the man named Gin Ichimaru. There was no mistaking that.
Looking from Gin again to Kita, Rangiku cleared her throat. “Kita, I know you love Gin, but does h--” her words stuck in her throat as she cleared her throat again and wet her lips. “Did he proclaim his love for you at any time?”
She felt her face heat up as her heart pounded in her chest waiting for Kita to answer her. She was sure what the answer might be, after all the two created a child and Kita was barely two months along. She had to hear it for herself. Even if her heart and mind already knew the answer.

Kita looked up quickly at Rangiku her heart skipping a beat or two. She knew her face turned flush as she looked back to Gin, she did not feel this was her place to tell her this, but under the circumstances and her direct question she felt she owed her the truth.
She nodded her head slowly as she looked at Rangiku. "He told me he loved me when he thought he had lost me, when I fell from the roof and again, just before he slipped into his coma."
She shook her head slowly looking at Rangiku's face turned pale. "But that does not mean he will be at my side. I could end up without him just as you found yourself without him all those centuries." Kita bit her bottom lip and cast her eyes down. "There are no promises as to where Gin will want to be when he wakes. If he even wakes within my lifetime. All I know is no matter what he will be a part of Sojiro's life."
She looked to Gin and smiled. "He will walk away from us both before he would walk away from his son."

Rangiku shook her head "He will not leave you, Kita. He will remain with you. One thing I do know about this man is that his spoken word is much stronger than his written. If he stepped up and told you he loved you, he will forever be at your side. Yours and Sojiro's both."
She stood and walked around Gin, sitting back down next to Kita and wrapping her arms around her, giving her a tight hug. "You deserve his love much more than I do. You supported him in something I never could. You are his light. Something he never had in me. You believed in him and trusted him. You gave him everything I never could. And I am glad he found such a wonderful girl in you and I am happy to know you love him as much as he loves you." She pulled back from the hug and brushed the hair from Kita's face.
"I know without a doubt Gin and I will always be friends, but now he has a family with you and Sojiro and I would never come between him and his happiness." She hugged Kita again tightly and laughed softly. "But you tell that Fox when he wakes up that if I am not made Sojiro's God Aunt, I will be out to kick his ass." Kita laughed as she pulled back from the embrace. "I think we can manage that, Ran."Rangiku then released her as Kita stood from her sitting place. "I will leave you two to visit. It seems Sojiro is getting hungry." Kita placed her hand over her stomach as it growled. She and Rangiku both giggling softly. Nodding at Kita as she walked toward the door, Rangiku smiled warmly. "Thank you, Kita. Thank you for everything you have done for him."
Kita turned, nodding with a bright smile and giving Rangiku and Gin one final look before she exited the room. ~END RP~

"Letting Go or Holding On?":Slamming the door behind her after fleeing from Toshiro, Kita huddled down in the floor between the door and Gin's futon. Her arms wrapped around her legs as she rocked back and fourth where she sat in the floor.
"Why did he hit me? What did he mean?""GET OUT!!"
"I will take him,"
"I will make sure you lose him!"She shook her head to get his voice from her mind. What did she do? Does Toshiro hate Gin so much he would try and kill his unborn child while still in the womb? While still inside of her? Would he hurt her so badly, just to kill Gin's unborn son? She buried her face between bended legs and her chest and cried.
"Do you hate me that badly as well, Toshiro?"
Her arms wrapped tighter around her legs, still crying and rocking herself back and forth. Finally out of sheer exhaustion of crying and worrying she fell to her side passed out cold.

"Waking with Clearer Eyes": (continued)Raelin walked in as Kita stepped aside. Her pendant was hot underneath her blouse and misty echoes formed an outline of what she must do. It seemed the dark judgement hanging onto the balance could be reversed with this act. She stepped through the barrier and took off her hat. Her hair unravelled from the braid to swirl around her, shimmering with an inner glow. Pulling the pendant out with one hand, Raelin reached for Kita with her opposite hand, pulling the girl into the room as her powers sealed it off from all others.

Kita was was taken aback as Rina pulled her into the room, her eyes widened in surprise as she watched the young girl. "What is she Sumi?"
"Raelin Fang is--"
"Raelin?!" Kita questioned, looking at the girl in front of her as they moved closer to Gin.
"Yes, she lied to you about her name."
"Why?"
"Because she feared the reaction of Kisuke and the Captain because of what she is." Kita said nothing letting Sumi continue. "Raelin is from a select line of warriors which bear slightly different powers, powers to heal and to balance the cruelty of monitoring the world of evil, a line of angels. She is from such ancestry. Her angelic powers come from the pureblood of her mother’s line, a noble clan. Her powers are rare, giving her the power to undo certain evil occurrences of the world. It is called reversing dark judgements. That includes bringing back the dead. Hence the reason she offered to undo the death of your parents."
Raelin then stopped them at the side of Gin's futon. Kita looked down at him, smiling softly. "Please don't be mad at me if this works." A mixture between sadness and joy filled her heart. Kita hoped she was doing the right thing and not just letting her selfishness lead her in this.

While Kita conversed with the seraph and gazed down at the man before them, Raelin continued to follow the echoes around them, seeing what must be done. As the forms around her faded, Raelin reached for Kita’s arm again.
“Forgive me for my deception,” she murmured. “but this is something the soul reapers long believed to be a legend, nothing more,” she went on as transparent wings unfolded from her back, lighting up the room. “It is Our wish that it remains so.” The girl closed her eyes, cradling the pendant in her hands. “For that purpose, I never left home when most went to their final war, and I could not save any lives, even my own parents.”
She opened her eyes again, her gaze stern. “Know that whatever happens now you cannot prevent or heal with your powers. It is the price. You cannot interfere.”
She kneeled before the prone form of the soul reaper on one side. “Sit and give me your hands, please.”

Kita did as Raelin asked her sitting down across from her and giving her both her hands. Taking them in hers, Kita watched the young girl as she preformed her duties as a Quincy legend. "What will happen to you, Raelin? So I will be prepared for the outcome."

Raelin raised her eyes towards the vessel of the seraph. “The price usually mirrors what I reverse. But I will always survive. That is all I will say.”
“But-”
“Save your worries for another person, Miyamoto,” the angel continued, cutting her off. “The dark time is not over. You will need your heart for others.” She closed her eyes, ending the conversation. Her wings outstretched to their full length and her hair shone as firefly-like light rose up from the ground and wrapped around their joined hands.
Raelin silently directed the energy towards the soul reaper’s form. Her hands wrapped tightly around the seraph’s as she came across the blackness bubbling up from the man. Her closed eyes squeezed tighter as some light traveled from her arms to the wings. Releasing one hand from Kita, she pressed a hand to his torso, visibly wincing as the webs around him latched onto her like vine wrapping around a tree. Her other hand tightened on the human girl and her hair fanned out. She let the energy flow down on the wound, slowly purifying what was expelled, reaching deeper towards the heart. Welts opened up on both arms.
She vaguely heard Kita, her hand held fast in her own, call out to her, and a small grin flitted over her lips. Ironic creature.

Kita's heart pounded in her chest. she could not let Realin do this. She could not let her fall into a coma like Gin did. What good would come from that? she tried to pull her hands back from the girl as Kita called out to her.
"Raelin, I can't let you do this!"
She did not heed her words as she moved diligently forward with casting out sin from Gin. "Raelin!" Kita called out to her again as the blackness wrapped around and up Raelin's arms. Falling silent, Kita quickly looked from the purifying sin up at Raelin's face as she watched Gin's signature smile spread across her lips.
"Gin..." Kita whispered a single tear trickled down her cheek her heart filling with sadness. "I miss you so much."

The tendrils of Raelin’s powers flowed over the soul reaper, reaching deeper, expelling pits of darkness built up and healing gaping wounds, all within his mind and soul. She watched as the threads of light bridged the gaps created with her powers to wrap around, entwining with what was left behind. Interesting. Suddenly, she reached a chasm, and darkness roped around her light.
Raelin pushed Kita away from her. Demanding more, twin lashes of power ripped up her arms to her forearms, spilling blood on the carpet and the soul reaper. The blood faded as it touched him, seeping into him, and the light faded from her hands.
The angel chuckled as she looked over at Kita, gasping in horror. “Blood calls for blood. His time in the worlds between has been shortened.” Her wings wrapped around her and she vanished.

"Blood calls for blood. His time in the worlds between has been shortened."
Realin's words rang in Kita's ears, but... by how much was it shortened? Would she still be alive when Gin awoke? Would she be old and gray? Would he get the pleasure of watching his son grown into a fine young man and if not would there still time for them to enjoy life together as lovers and best friends? Kita looked at Gin as he still laid there in his coma. Gathering herself she tucked her legs under her resting her hand to his chest and resting her head down on his stomach. Tears started to fall as she laid over to her side next to Gin letting her other arm wrap around him.
"I love you. Please hurry and come back to us."
She closed her eyes and cried in the silence of the room. Only wishing this had never happened to him.

Suddenly, Kita sat up. Was she dreaming? She looked down a the arm she had been resting on. Watching, nearly choking up, as it rose slowly, slowly, very slowly, to her stomach. His eyes fluttered open, colorlessly looking up at her. Kita called out his name, and he faded away again, the hand falling away last.
Kita wiped her eyes. It was enough. It had to be. Tessai had told her that Gin wouldn’t begin to show movement unless he would wake soon. He would see Soji. She would see him before she grew old. She squeezed his hand.
And jumped as a sarcastic voice yelped in her ear.
“Damn woman! What did you do?!” Shinsou vaulted into the room, settling on his master’s stomach, flicking his tattered ear and tails waving around him. “That hurt worse than lemon juice on open wounds!”
She giggled. “Lemon juice. You sure it’s not salt water?”
Shinsou gave her a sharp, irritated look. “I’ll have you know salt water just makes your wounds hurt more. Lemon juice, at least, heals them.”
He shook his head again. “What did you do? Gin’s much closer to me now and I have clamoring in each section of my realm. I didn’t expect that for at least another few years. I wish you didn't leave me in your room this time. I want answers!!"

Kita could not help but give him a soft smile, "I am sorry. I did not know it would hurt so badly, but in all honesty I did nothing. It was the girl." Kita looked around the room as if looking for someone. She was gone.
She drew her hand to her forehead, "of course she is gone you watched her vanish before your eyes."
"What girl?" Shinsou asked her tilting his head as he looked at her.
"Realin Fang, the Quincy. She...she was the one that did this."

“A quincy healing….” the fox repeated. He glanced to his master. “I hope you don’t share that information with many, Kita.”
Kita frowned and folded her hands. “Telling you and Gin is not sharing with everyone,” she said with a huff. “Besides, you blamed me.”
The kitsune smirked, showing his teeth. “Did I?” he retorted in a voice so eerily similar to his master’s that Kita couldn’t help but smile again. The fox flicked his tails again.
“How long will he be gone now? Do you know?” Kita asked.
Shinsou shrugged, wrapping two of his tails around his body. “What your friend did was actually very helpful. It hurt, and it’s going to hurt for a bit.” He shuddered. “But she healed the worst of the wounds of his heart, the decay left behind from certain acts in Aizen’s service. That should have taken years to heal.”
“Was it-” she paused, “was it the right thing to do?”
“Your friend did nothing that time and peace wouldn’t have healed on its own unaided,” the fox stated, almost immediately after her question, “and she did nothing to curtail what he must do for himself, so you can stop worrying.”
She smiled sheepishly.
Shinsou stayed silent for a few more minutes. “We have company coming, and I don’t want to talk to a group,” he muttered of the guests in the house. He stood up and vaulted to her lap, licking her cheek. “Gin will return no sooner than two years and no later than ten. Think you can wait that long, dearie?”
