"Hello Sweetie. You going to stick around and help this time?" Kisuke slid the door closed behind him and continued on in the room stepping toward Kita as she went to push up off the floor.
He offered his hand to her to help her up as she shook her head.

"I can't. I wish I could." She looked back to Gin and sighed. "If he would only let me heal them. At least the ones I caused, but he won't let me touch them." Her eyes closed again as a tear formed in the corner of her eye.
"Especially the one. I hate that one. I hate it more then I hate Aizen and his daughter." Her last statement turned to a low growl as her hand balled into a fist as she turned from Gin again.

Kisuke pulled her into his arms hugging her tightly. "I am sorry Kita. I understand the reasoning behind both of your reason's for you wanting to erase them and him for leaving them." He parted from the embrace and looked into her teary eyes.
"No matter how painful it is for you, you need to understand his reasoning as well. He don't do it to hurt you."
While the two talked Tessai walked back in the room with a pan of warm soapy water, a few washcloths and towels and a clean white kimono for Gin. He knelled down beside Gin and started to removing his kimono.

As Tessai removed Gin's clothing his eyes slightly squinted in confusion, he even pulled his glasses down from over his eyes to look again. Slowly he removed one of Gin's arms and then the other. Shaking his head he rubbed his eyes pushing his glasses back up the ridge of his nose. He looked over to Kisuke and Kita as the two still talked.
"Boss?"
When Kisuke looked to him Tessai was wide eyed, confusion written all over his face.

Kisuke could not help but chuckled softly at Tessai with his expression. "What is it Tessai?"
He then watched Tessai look directly at Kita then back to him. "Something really odd is going on here."
"What are you talking about?" Kisuke asked him.
"Take a look." Tessai told him gesturing to Gin's body.
Kisuke looked to Gin not noticing anything in particular as he looked back to Tessai. "I don't know what it is you want me to notice, Tessai."
When Kisuke looked back to Gin he then saw something rather amazing happen. A scar Gin had acquired at some point was disappearing. Slowly the three watched it completely vanish from Gin's arm and their sight. Kisuke squatted down picking up Gin's arm looking at it closely. "What in the God's names is happening here?"
Kisuke looked back at Kita as she hovered over him looking at Gin's arm as well. She had her hands drawn to her mouth, he could tell she was smiling behind them.
"Kita~?"

Kita stood erect her hands going up in the air slightly as she defended herself. "I am not doing it I swear!"
She watched Kisuke turn back and look at Gin then back to her. "Sumi?"
Sumi appeared in the room looking at Kisuke. "Are you truly entertaining the thought that I would be do this?"
Kita looked to Sumi confused now. "Well if your not, who is?"

Sumi looked from Kita to Kisuke then to Tessai as they waited for some sort of explanation. Sumi sighed softly, shaking her head. "Did you all forget that the young Quincy girl helped heal Ichimaru. She is an Angel. One of very strong healing powers. With her cleansing powers she was able to help Ichimaru on to the right path for forgiving himself of his sins he has bared for centuries. I am guessing this is an effect of the healing."
Kita then quickly pushed past Kisuke almost knocking him over as she lowered herself to Gin's side. Her hand quickly went to Gin's head as she pushed up his bangs only to reveal the scar from that nightmarish night that still haunted her memories no matter if she was awake or asleep. She fell back from Gin as tears filled her eyes her head shaking quickly.
"Why? Why is that one... Why is that one still there?" Kita's trembling voice asked.

Kisuke reached out for Kita touching her arm gently as she jolted back from his touch. When she looked up at him, fear, shame and a lost look filled her eyes. "Kita?!" Kisuke called out to her trying to bring her back to reality as he swiftly moved toward her. She was was having a flashback and he did not want her to hurt herself.
Kita's mind rushed back to that night. A night of shameful, ghastly actions Aizen took upon her and Gin. A night she wanted to forget more then the death of her own parents. Why was that scar still there? It was because of her he got that wound. Her. If it had not been for her Gin would not suffered that night. A night of lust, dominance and sheer hell for them both. She shook her head quickly her hands clasped to both sides of her head. "Make it go away... Make it go away. Please... Make it go away."
"Kita. It's Kisuke. Snap out of it." He called to her. "Talk to me. What happened to cause that scar on Ichimaru's forehead?" He grabbed her shoulders to stop her from getting up from the floor and bad mistake on his part as she jolted up from the floor and ran toward the door.
"SUMI STOP HER!" Kisuke bellowed as he spun to keep his eyes on Kita.

Sumi raised her hand sealing the room as Kita reached for the door to slide it open. The door would not budge keeping Kita from exit the room. Sumi slowly walked toward her, gently she placed her hand to Kita's shoulder to calm her. Taking a deep breath and exhaled slowly Kita dropped her head to the door and cried.
"He knows I don't blame him for that night. He knows I hold no ill will toward him for what happen. Why does he still bare that scar?" Kita lifted her head, turning she looked to Sumi. "Does he blame me? Does he blame me... for what happen... to him?" Kita looked at Gin through tear filled eyes.
Sumi shook her head letting her hand slide from Kita's shoulder. "That is not a question I can answer, Kita. Only Ichimaru can answer that." She looked to Gin. "And right now. He is not capable of that."

Kisuke stepped toward Kita, leery of reaching out to her. He was not even aware of a traumatizing act taking place between Kita and Gin. He only knew of what he was told and nothing he was told that went on between Kita and Gin was bad enough to cause her to act out like this. He knew she was having nightmares that were linked to Las Noches and the events that took place there, but this was different. This was an act that truly had Kita shaken to her very core.
Slowly he extended his hand to Kita as he talked to her in a caring and heartfelt tone. "I am here for you Sweetie. You know you can talk to me about anything. I can help you through this. Please. I don't want you to be hurting like this." He looked back to Gin as he still talked to her. "I am sure there is a good reason for it to still be there." He looked back to Kita and smiled warmly. " And I am fairly sure it is not because Ichimaru blames you for it."

Kita shook her head quickly as she looked over at Kisuke, "No! I will never talk about this night with anyone. I don't even think I could talk to Gin about it." She closed her eyes tightly shaking her head again trying to shake the images from her mind tears streamed down her cheek still.
"I can't... I can't. Relive. That night."
Kisuke stepped toward her as she moved away from him. She did not want him to touch her. Her skin was crawling already with the still burned image in her mind, she could feel Aizen's hands all over her. She shivered and pressed her body against the wall wrapping her arms around her and she slid down the wall sitting on the floor.
"Kita it will make it easier if you talk about it with someone. We can help you past this."
"NO! It is not for me to tell you what happen! Leave me alone!"
Kisuke stepped toward Kita again. "You have to." Kisuke reached out to her again, "its the only way..."
Kita screamed, "NO!" Her head lifting quickly as she looked at Kisuke when his hand softly rested to her shoulder. "GET AWAY FROM ME!!" Kita lifted from the floor quickly moving away as Kisuke moved toward her.

Shinsou sprang from his sheath in a flash and wrapped around Kita’s shoulder, all four tails curling around her like a scarf, nuzzling her neck with his snout. “You don’t have to stay silent, dearie," he murmured, loud enough for the others to hear. "You can speak of this if it will help you.” As Kita looked towards him, he licked her ear. “Master doesn’t wear that scar because of you, and he has always given you permission to speak about your pain, even if it involves Gin. The whipping that nearly took your life.... and that harrowing night."

Kita shook her head, "I can't. I won't. Shinsou. Please. Take me to Gin. Please. I need him." She buried her tear stained face in Shinsou's fur. "Please."
Shinsou nodded, looked to the two in the room, and then lulled Kita to sleep and the dream realm she could retreat to.
"I'll return her soon," he called out to the two in the room before spiriting the soul deeper, towards his own.
Kita woke and a strong, warm wind blew over her face, chasing blossoms away from the ground. Long arms wrapped around her body and tugged her tear-streaked face towards his chest. "Darling heart," he whispered into her hair, "why won't you speak to anyone? What will free you of these nightmares? Of the wounds over your heart?"
Kita clutched his kimono tightly in her hands. Her crying now harder as Gin held her close to him. Letting her cry it out as Gin gently caressed her back Kita finally looked up at him as their eyes met. "I can't. That night was..." She shook her head and cast her eyes downward. "I just want to forget that night ever happened." She looked back to Gin. "And that scar will never let that happen. Every time I see it... that night. It washes over me like it happened just moments before."
Her hands tightened on his kimono again, "why? Why won't you let me heal it? Please. I must know."

Gin sighed. He hated that Las Noches was still tearing her apart, but there were reasons he refused to heal certain scars. “Scars are sometimes the only way I will remember those lives I ruined, sullied, tormented, or killed. Their faces remain with the physical reminder. So I can’t let you erase them all. However, it is different with the scar you loathe most.” He held her close. “I know you don’t blame me, dearie, for anything that night, but that night I failed you. You have nightmares about what Aizen forced me to do…. I hear the echoes of your screams and the image of those bloody towels and sheets….. the taste of blood on my tongue when……” He paused. “It sickened me… I felt filthy… but it kept more screams from filling the tower…. This scar is a promise to do anything to keep those screams from happening again. It’s an oath.”

Kita shook her head, "but if you have those memories? If you remember it like I do? Why have a scar to make it more apparent? The oath is here." She rested her hand over his heart. "It does not become weaker because there is not visual signs of it." She paused looking into his blue eyes. "And you did not fail me. You cannot control another person. You cannot read minds. If I..." she lowered her eyes again.
"I blame no one but myself for what happened in Las Noches. No one... But myself." She pulled from Gin's embrace and turned looking out across the horizon. She took a couple of steps and stopped, looking slightly back at Gin. "If I had not been there none of this would have happened. If I had listened to my reasoning and not my heart. I would have ran. Ran to some place Aizen would have never found me. But then..." she looked away, back over the horizon, her head slowly lowering. "No. I know you would have survived. You would have lived, but..." she looked out across Shinsou's realm as the light now covered what once was dark, cold and lonely. "You would have been alone. Again."
She turned slowly and looked to him a soft smile across her lips, "you would have lived. And it would have been without me messing up your life." A single tear trickled down her cheek. "How did you do it?" Gin cocked his head looking at her, confused at her question. She laughed softly, "how did you keep yourself from strangling the life out of me? A hardheaded, bold..." she paused shaking her head slightly as she looked to the ground, "child."
