Gin frowned deeply before pulling her into his arms again. “You are no child, Kita Miyamoto,” he vowed fiercely in a low voice. “And I won’t let you blame anyone for what happened that evening, anyone but Aizen. If you had run, it may have saved you your life, even your first bright love …. but you would have been even more broken than you profess to be now.” As she shook her head, Gin caught her chin in his hand. “Kita, you would have hated yourself for running and leaving your friends to the fight, and you know it,” he hissed. He embraced her tightly. “When you met Kisuke and became friends with us, all of us, you chose this war. And when Loki, and Aizen, found you, you chose a much more dangerous one than your own personal freedom. You sacrificed yourself to save your friend.”
He let his hand fall from her and kissed her gently before stepping back. He chuckled, crystalline eyes sharp. “There was a time I wouldn’t have minded being alone. I chose this path, after all. But… survival is not enough anymore. And for that, I apologize.”
He brushed at her eyes. “I dragged you into far worse pain than any by Aizen’s or his minions’ hands.”
“And for some reason, it doesn’t matter. I love you. And as long as you will have me, I will cling to you.” He grinned. “Because I am a selfish creature at heart, dearie~"
Gin gathered her back into his arms. "If you wish to heal that injury, I will let you, but you have to let the night's hold on you go. Talk to the crazy shopkeeper. If he slugs me, I will deal with it, but don't carry it any longer. For your sake. My own. And Sojiro's."

She sniffled softly shaking her head, "Thank you and I will do my best to put it behind me, but I don't know if I can talk to someone about it. I feel so dirty and shamed from that night." She lowered her eyes from his gaze. "For both of us. I knew Aizen was a bastard, but I never thought he would stoop to that level. His Espada; yes, but not Aizen." She looked to Gin once more. "You know... I did not hate Aizen until that night took place." She sniffled again wrapping hers arms tightly around him.
"I am so sorry this happened. I know you say it is not my fault, but if I were not part of your life he would have never done this to you."

Gin chuckled and kissed the crown of her head, holding her close for a few silent moments and then letting her go. He grinned lightly. “I’m sorry, dearie, but you’re wrong about that.”
He pulled off his kimono and let it fall to the ground, looking over his body. He chuckled again. “It will be strange not having some of these….” He ran his fingers over a particularly long one fading on his right underarm, azure eyes bright. The fox turned to Kita, and then looked down again, a strange smile twisting his features. “As you know there are a lot of scars on me. Some, I won in battle, skirmishes or duels; some, others were fighting the futile battle for their lives; even more, I earned at Aizen’s hand for wavering or because he was in the mood to test me; and finally, some were carved into me from before I met my former master.”
He smirked and retrieved his kimono. “What happened that night had nothing to do with you, Kita. It had everything to do with my dangerous thrill of pushing the odds that were weighed against my life and sanity and seeing how far I could go without falling over the edge. You just happened to be around because I chose to continue caring for you in the perils of the dark path. For my own selfish desires.”

Kita shook her head as a soft giggle escaped in spite of it all. She knew Gin was a reckless man and she knew he had many scars. She remember sleepless nights just watching him sleep as she gently traced them with her fingertip wondering where he got and how he got a few of them. Some she already knew. Some she wish she could have protected him from. Some she wished he would have let her take since she was the one that should have got them in the first place.
"You need to stop protecting me so much." Kita told him.
Gin chuckled. "That will never happen. And if I did that would mean you would have to stop protecting me." His head titled to the side with a raised brow.
"Oh No!" Kita softly exclaimed, "I could never do that."
"Then I guess we are at a stalemate." Gin told her.
"Speaking of protecting you. I know you will never stop watching your back, but there is one that has threatened your life as of... Well today." She shook her head and looked down at her feet, shuffling them slightly.

Gin chuckled once more, the strange amusement still dancing in his sky-like eyes. “I have no doubt.” He frowned slightly. “He also has a right to hate me,” he murmured, reaching up and stroking her cheek. “He lost you to Las Noches and tried to support you from there, even tried to rescue you, and there I was - in the way.” He dropped his hand. “I used him for my own purposes, and he finally managed to find strength enough to move beyond his loss…. hoping you would return. But when you did, you were more lost to him than before. Your memory, gone, your emotions, twisted around your master. Still, you were separated.” He turned around. “And it wasn’t Aizen who appeared in between that. It was me.”
He chuckled shortly and lowered his head. “So yes, I am not surprised that he hates and wants me dead… It’s another consequence on my soul. That’s all.”

"But he blames you for all of this. Like it was your fault. Like you had this planned out from the very beginning." She lowered her head and sighed. "I would not put it past him thinking you were the one that had Loki grab me and take off with me."
She looked back up at him as Gin slowly turned to look at her again. "The way he acted he might even have Sumi looped into all this with you."

Gin pulled her against him again. “Kita…. I’m sorry. It must tear you apart that he’s acting like this…. If he is still like this when I wake, I will handle him. I won’t kill him…. but I will open up to him about certain things…. in hope that he will return to the man you knew.”

She rested her head against his chest and sighed heavily, "Right now I just want him to go away. I so badly wished you were awake when he was there today. With what he said, I myself wanted to rip him apart, but I held back Sumi's powers and faced him as a human." She giggled softly. "Not like my human strength would hurt him if I connected a hit with his jaw, but Sumi's powers to his soul reaper powers would have been over kill in this situation."
She looked up Gin and smiled. "Sometimes I wish me and Sojiro could pick up and leave. Of course, taking you with us."

Gin chuckled. "I think there are too many important people here for you to do that. To you or yourself." The wind picked up around them and Gin sighed. "I have to go, Kita. Please, talk to Kisuke, even if you can't be specific, or ask Shinsou or Sumi to. Someone we trust needs to know... and you need to heal." The wind wrapped around her, blurring the scenery and the form with azure eyes. "I love you, Kita...."

She reached out to her love as he faded slowly before her eyes, "I love you, Gin." Slowly the darkness wrapped around her, but when she opened her eyes it was not Gin's room she saw. It was the void where she and Sumi always met when she was in Las Noches.
Kita looked around calling out for the Goddess, "Sumi?" She appeared not far from her. "Are you feeling better, Kita?"Kita looked down looking at the blackness below her feet, "I have been better, but like always I will live." Sumi sighed stepping toward her. "While you slept, I spoke to Kisuke and Tessai about that night." Kita's eyes widened greatly, but she did not become angered. "I did not tell them everything, but I broke the ice. Now the rest is up to you. They are waiting for you to wake."
She waved her hand gracefully toward Kita with a soft smile across her lips as Kita started to fade from the void. Sumi's voice soft and gentle as she spoke to her.
"Be strong, Kita. Like we all know you are. Gin still needs you and Sojiro needs you even more. This haunting night is holding you back. Free yourself of the hell once and for all." Kita stirred, moving in her resting place against the wall where Shinsou lulled her to sleep. Her eyes fluttering as they adjusted to the light that now surrounded her. When her eyes completely opened, she saw Kisuke kneeling in front of her, a kind, caring expression in his eyes and on his face.
"Kisuke..." Kita leaned forward, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly. Picking her up in his arms, he packed Kita towards the door. "Let's talk, Sweetie." They exited the room, leaving Tessai with Gin to do what needed to be done for him.

"Polishing the Firestone":Walking through the shop Vacanze looked for Kita. With Kisuke in Soul Society, Yoruichi taking the boys to the park and Tessai out shopping. All that was left in the shop was him and his Firestone. He had seen the way she was acting since their return from Las Noches and it was like she had backslid to the time she and Gin returned and he had went into his coma. Vacanze was worried about him gem and he had to get her head on straight. She was not the Kita he remembered and fell in love in Las Noches and he wanted her back. He knew the nightmares were still haunting her, even after her talk with Kisuke with what happened when she and Gin where there. He knew it would take time for her to move over this. She was an innocent. An innocent young girl that had barely lived her life and that bastard Loki kidnapped her. Dragging her to the center of hell. A hell that he was even glad that he escaped from, and he was a Espada. He walked around the corner into the hall and headed for Gin's room. He knew he would find her there. It's where she spent most of her time. Before work. After work. Before bed and even when she just needed to see the face of her lover and sons father. He shook his head in thought with a slight growl his fist clenching slightly. "I hope this works in bring her back to me. I miss my Firestone." He thought to himself. He then stopped in front of Gin's door and slid it open a soft smile crossing his lips when he say Kita up and moving around as she dusted Gin's room. "Keeping busy?"

Kita turned to Vacanze's voice as she looked at one of her many saviors of Las Noches. "I am trying. Yes. What's up with you? Get bored hanging out by yourself?" She asked him turing back to finish dusting the dresser.
Vacanze walked further into the room with a soft chuckle. "Yeah," his hand going to the back of his neck as he rubbed it. "I guess I did, but I got an idea and I want to know what you think."
Kita turned again and looked to Vacanze as she folded the dust rag in her hand. "What might that be?"

"Train with me," Vacanze replied.
"Huh," was all Kita could manage as she looked at him through bewildered eyes.
He still walked toward stopping in front of her a few feet away. "You heard me. You told me Aizen was training you in how to sword fight when you were in Las Noches, and you really enjoyed it. It made you relaxed and more sound of mind, right?"
Kita nodded her head slowly as Vacanze smiled at her. "Then train with me. Get better at it. Who knows this could be good therapy for you."

Kita looked to the floor with what he said. He was right, it did help her keep a sound mind and she did enjoy it very much. Even though it was Aizen that trained her. A solid year she wielded a sword with that man at the receiving end and not once did she take his life. "He had better be glad that he and Vale had me under that hallucination. I swear I would have taken his head if he had not."
Now it was Vacanze's turn, "huh?" the look in his eyes confused.
Kita giggled shaking her head. "Nothing just thinking out loud."

Smiling warmly at her Vacanze stepped up to her pulling her into his arms and kissed her forehead. "So is that a yes?"
Kita nodded then quickly sighed. "Only one problem. I need a sword. All the swords around here are zanpakutos. I can't train with someone elses sword it would not be right."
Vacanze gave her a sly smile as he reached behind him and pulled something from his belt, slowly he brought it around from behind him reveling a full tang katana. "Just your size if I recall the sword I saw you with last time."
