Kita looked Karin in the eyes. "In my eyes only one reason. Master Gin." She shook her head as Karin was about to protest. "He needs me. I can't leave him and I need him for when Aizen decides to strip the Seraph from me."
Kita sighed. "No. I need him while being in Las Noches. His darkness give me strength to push on and to be strong. Not only for myself, but for him as well."

Hisagi reached over to Kita and stroked her hair as his hand cupped her cheek. He looked into her saddened eyes. "You are strong without him. Don't let him bluff you into believing otherwise. You don't need him, Kita."
He leaned forward and kissed her cheek. "He has become very protective of you. Which is good. Don't get me wrong, but here. He has no reason to be that way around us. He knows we would never hurt you."

Kita shook her head, "I don't think that's the reason he tries to keep me away from everyone." She looked at Hisagi, then Ichigo and Karin. "Master Gin knows me better than anyone. He knows I make friends quickly. I think he is worried that if I become attached Aizen can use that against me to hurt me."
She shook her head again. "He don't want to see me hurt, and I don't want to see him hurt because of me." She looked between the three of them again. "It's hard on everyone, but best for us all in the end."

Ichigo shook his head, giving her a stern look. "That is way beyond true, Kita. I don't think that could be any more false. Ichimaru is definitely NOT the only one who knows you best. There's Tsukiro and Kisuke, even though you don't remember. They know you better than anyone else. Including Ichimaru." |

Kita looked to Ichigo, "that might be true for what you know, but what I know and all I know is Master Gin and Las Noches. I don't remember anything outside of Las Noches and Master Gin has made sure to keep it that way to protect me."
She cast her eyes away from them. "I don't understand why he brought me here. Everyday grows harder the more I get to know all of you and learn more of who and what you all were to me. The thought of going back grows more and more distant and I don't look forward to going back." She looked back at them. "But I will... For Master Gin. No matter how much I will miss all of you and Tsukiro."
Her bottom lip started to quiver as she turned away from them.

About to say something sarcastic about the shifty fox, Karin saw the tears and was at a loss. She nudged Ichigo, giving him a look saying 'fix it'.

Ichigo rubbed the back of his head, unsure of what to do. He sighed and knelt down in front of Kita. He patted her head. "Hey, come on now. You don't have to do anything you don't want to. If you don't want to go back--if you want to stay here--we'll do everything in our power to make that happen. Ichimaru can take care of himself. He's been doing it since before any of us were born. You just have to worry about yourself. He can protect himself. And if you go back there, Aizen will only be even harder on you. I know you don't like seeing people get hurt for your sake. I don't either, but sometimes we just have to let the people we love do what they can to help. That includes us."

Kita shook her head. "You don't understand, Ichigo." Kita wiped away the tears. "It don't matter if I want to go back or not. Aizen will make sure I go back. He wants the Seraph." She then looked at Hisagi. "Like your captain is to you. Master Gin is to me. You would lay your life on the line for them. I am no different in that aspect when it comes to Master Gin."
She looked at the others and sighed. "I don't expect any of you to understand this and I am not asking you to. But I WILL return back to Las Noches and I know Master Gin will be right at my side when I do."

Hisagi took Kita's hand again and pulled her into his lap. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly as she rested her head to his shoulder. "I can't say that I understand this. I don't know why you would want to live through that hell. I just want to run off with you and tell them all to go to Las Noches and fuck themselves. I don't want to see you return to Las Noches. Not now, not ever."
He stroked her long hair down her back as he held her close in his lap as he sighed heavily. "I just don't get it."
Hisagi buried his face in the crook of her neck and held her.

"No one asked you to understand it," came a sneering voice from the doorway. Gin's slitted eyes stared at the unwelcome visitors in his room. "And no one certainly told you to come in here and rub salt into open wounds." He entered his room and placed Shinsou by the wall.

Hisagi lifted his head his arms still wrapped around Kita her in his lap and looked at Gin his eyes narrowing slowly. "I came in to talk to Kita. I thought maybe she needed someone to talk to from everything that happened today. Seeing how her Master was nowhere to be found to talk to her and cheer her up. She has not left this room since Tsukiro left. Like you would know."
Hisagi shifted under Kita slightly. "Off talking to your Master I presume? What kind of hell you got planned out for us and Kita now, Ichimaru?"

Kita went to stand when Gin walked in the door announcing his arrival but Hisagi would not let her stand. He held on to her gently but firmly. When he asked Gin his question Kita's eyes widened.
"Hisagi?!" Kita exclaimed just above a whisper.

Gin just smirked, his eyes hidden behind his bangs. "Careful, Lieutenant, I would hate to take Kita from you when you have such good intentions~" he purred. He chuckled at the glares from all the visitors and pushed Karin from his window seat. "After stabbing a person in the back two, three, nearly a dozen times, I would hope that you didn't think that I would be talking to him," he continued, voice still nonchalant as he perched at his window.
He waved his hand. "Next question please."
