Hisagi cupped Kita face in his hands and turned her to look at him. "Kita! Stop treating him like he is the only person that matters here."

Gin chuckled at Karin's outburst before narrowing his eyes at Hisagi. "Be it brat or feisty lieutenant, you don't know when to quit." he hissed, rising from his perch. He snagged Kita's arm and tugged her away from Hisagi, sitting her at his feet by the window seat. "Calm down, dearie~ I don't mind sparring with these three." He embraced Kita and whispered further in her ear. "Two happen to be my favorite victims."
He lifted his head and looked to Karin first. "Welcome back, pip-squeak. It's good to see you're still rearing for a fight." He tilted his head at Ichigo. "For a moment there, I think you were actually helping. How unusual."

Hisagi shot up and glared at Gin as he walked away with Kita. His blood further bolling when he sat her at his feet like a pet or slave would. "You bastard!" Hisagi walked over offering his hand to Kita.
"You don't belong to him. You're not his pet or his slave, Kita." He urged her to take his hand. "Please Kita. Break this chain with him. We can protect you just as well as he can."

Kita looked up at Hisagi from his hand. Her head then turned slowly to look at Gin. She feared what would happen if she did not take his hand and she feared what would happen if she did take his hand. As her head turned, Hisagi stopped her by sliding his hand to her cheek. However, he was stopped quickly when his wrist was grabbed by Master Gin and forced back from them.

"I've told the shopkeeper and I am going to tell you, lieutenant," Gin growled. "Stop forcing your desires on her or leave her the hell alone!" He let his hand go. "She decides where she goes and who she wants to follow, not you!"

Hisagi stepped up into Gin's face. "Forcing her! You bastard! The only forcing I see here is you forcing her! She was fine sitting in my lap and you had to jerk her out of it like some jealous outraged--" Hisagi growled. "TSUKIRO!"

Ichigo put his arm on Hisagi's chest and forced him back, glowering at him. "That's enough!" He turned to Ichimaru. "Both of you! Both of you are forcing yourselves on her! Let her choose! She can't help the way she's acting because she doesn't remember how it used to be! Neither of you are making it any easier. Ichimaru is way closer to her than he should be, especially when he's back and forth between us and Aizen. And Hisagi, you pushing her towards how she should act is only going to make her walk the other way faster." He clenched his fist at both of them, bearing his teeth. "So both of you knock it off and stop pressuring her before I knock some sense into both of your heads!!!" |

Gin sat back down on his window seat. "Wonder boy speaks some sensible words. It must be the end of the war," he murmured with a sarcastic edge. He fixed his azure eyes on Hisagi. "I intervened, lieutenant, because she had tears in her eyes. Because you wouldn't stop pushing her away from me. and towards you. That's why I took her from you. If you would actually focus on cheering her up, then I would not need to check on her."

Karin folded her arms and waited a moment. "I could start knock you both around to make Kita smile if that's what we are looking for," she muttered, half to herself. She stood up and joined her brother in pulling Hisagi back. "I'm sorry, Kita, that I brought it up."

Kita looked at the group and frowned. "Thank you Ichigo and that's alright Karin." She then looked to Hisagi. "You said you didn't understand. So in not understanding why would try to get me to do something I cannot do? Its not the fact of wanting to do it or not wanting to do it. It is something I have to do."
She stood and reached out touching his cheek. "Please Hisagi, if you cant understand anything else about this. Understand that at least."

Ichigo sighed and placed his hand on his face. "I think we all need to get out of the shop. This is going to drive us insane." With one hand on his hip, he pointed at the door. "All of you out. You too Kita. It's not good for you to stay cooped up in here. I know you're probably scared of what's outside the shop, but you'll never conquer those fears if you don't try. So all of you go! Go do something outside! Play a game, take a walk. Do something. We're all going to be at each other's throats if we don't catch a break."

Hisagi did not take his narrowed eyes from Gin as he back up more. He did not know what to say to Kita with what she told him. The fact of the matter Gin was abusing the fact she wanted to be at his side and it ate away at him. It's not she did not listen to him he could easily tell her to get lost and go find something else to do, but no he keep her close to him like he was afraid she might actually see the truth and walk away herself. Tearing his eyes from him finally he looked to Kita offering his hand once more.
"Would you like to go for walk, Kita?"

She looked from Hisagi to Gin. Then to Ichigo and Karin. She stood silent feeling like a rope being pulled in two. She shook her head at all of them as tears started to fall once more.
"I want to be left alone." She quickly jumped out the window and landed to the ground running off the shop lot. She turned quickly into an alley and just ran.
