"Why is she like that?" asked Kenji. "He's nothing like Gin is with protecting her. He respects her space. But, keeps an eye on her."
"Leave them to sort that out. Tell me about this god."
Kenji shook his head. "My anti hogyoku fused with the one he had. I don't know why I thought that would work."

Kisuke nodded, "If I had a chance to look it over before you took off I might have been able to fix that for you," He looked to Kita then back to his son, "But someone felt the need to leave without consulting me or anyone for that fact."
Kita said nothing just continued on cooking as she made pancakes for her son and brother.
"Tell me more of what happen. Was Aizen upset that dear old dad took the hogyoku?"

"Well, no." answered Kenji, bringing a hand to his forehead. His fingers traced the nearly healed cut on his head. "I don't think he knows that this Giichi guy intervened. Unless, he's managed to figure out how to function when a godly gate is open."
"I doubt he has."
"Yeah, dad. I know. But, that's the only other way he would know. So, its safe to say that I don't think he knows. This Giichi, dad...He's like Aizen. And, like you." Kenji chuckled. "I was in and out, but I could hear a bit. He's definitely where the two of you get your shit from." Kenji shook his head. "Which makes me wonder."

Kisuke sat back and looked at his son as he adjusted his hat to look at him better and Kenji could see his eyes. "Wonder about what?"
"Well, I'm not exactly like you, dad." replied Kenji. "Brains, maybe. But, nothing else. I hate to harp on it. But, some Urahara I've turned out to be. I couldn't even protect Kita from the weird Espada."
Kisuke chuckled. "So you think that makes you a poor excuse for an Urahara? If I had a yen for every time I could not protect someone I would be a rich man and would be traveling the world."
Kenji shook his head as he narrowed his eyes. "Be serious for a second." Kenji looked to his father as he leaned back in his chair. "This Espada could open gargantas. But, they weren't regular gargantas, I guess. They look like they came from his hands. Dad..." Kenji leaned over the table as he whispered to his father. "What if he can open gargantas to anywhere?"
"I am sure he can. If it is the same one that grab Sojiro then yes. It is worrisome, but what is it you are thinking here? You know there is no way he can get Aizen into Godly realm and I doubt they would work in Hell. They are two totally different levels of power."

Kenji shook his head as he rose from his seat quickly. "That's not what I'm thinking. Even he could get into hell, it would take a miracle for him to set one of those demons free. Even with Sada. This Espada can open gargantas anywhere. Which means Aizen never has to leave Las Noches. He wants you...Gin...Vale...Kita...All he has to do is get this Espada to snatch and grab."
Looking at his father, Kenji narrowed his eyes. "Dad, he could tear us apart without getting off of his throne."

Kisuke shook his head adjusting his hat once more as he sighed. "What do you want me to do, Kenji? Have Sumi cast a shield over the Soul Society to protect us all?" He lifted from his spot at the table as well, leaning forward on his hands.
"All of us know what could happen and we all know what Aizen is capable of. We have survived worse and we will survive this."
Kenji growled slamming a hand to the tabletop causing everyone but his father, Seto and himself to jump.
"What do you want me to do Kenji?!" Kisuke exclaimed. "I can't do it if you don't tell me."

"Something!" shouted Kenji. "Do something! Aren't you tired of fighting the same fight? He's your brother. Why can't you do more? Why can't you win?" Kenji looked at his father, then to Seto and Kita. "I'm tired of all of this. I want a fucking peaceful life. For everyone!" Kenji knocked over a chair.
"Do something outside of trying to match moves. Create another hogyoku and use it on yourself. Lead a charge right to his door. Train these lazy, ignorant ass Captain's of yours to fight the Ayakashi so they don't keep getting their asses kicked. Something, dad!"

Kisuke sighed and looked at his angered son. “Kenji, I know this is frustrating, but creating another Hogyoku is not the way, and I have never in the years of creating one wanted to use it on myself.” He looked to Seto as he lifted his boy from the floor holding him in his arms as he walked toward them.
He looked back to Kenji. “And I am working in the direction the Gotei needs to get stronger, but this takes time. It is not going to happen over night. The biggest issue I face is getting the Captains to understand that the Ayakashi can be over powered even by them, but getting them to work together as a team and not alone against them is like--” he stopped abruptly his eyes moving to Kita.
“Trying to get my daughter to stop doing foolish things.”
Kita’s eyes lifted from what she was doing and looked at him. Her attention then slowly went back to what she was doing. He looked back to his son an idea brewing in his head. His hand went to the top of his hat.
“Kenji?” His son looked at him his eyes still angered. “How would you like to be my Advisor? You seem to have something cooking in that head of yours. Maybe putting you in the mix will get them to form better.”
Kita then walked over to the table sitting two plates to it. One for Kenji and one for Kadaj. Kadaj wiggled down from his fathers hold, scurrying over to the table and sat down. Kita then turned and went back to the kitchen to finish cleaning up leaving the men to finish their talk.

"Your advisor?" questioned Kenji. "Are you serious? Like they're going to even acknowledge me. Thanks, dad. But, I don't think that's going to help. That's like you making Seto a captain again. Don't bother."
"Kenji, I can't help you if you don't help me." said Kisuke.
"But, an advisor? Dad!" Kenji sighed. "Fine. Whatever. I'll be your advisor. But, before that...We need to go back to Las Noches."
"Go back?" Kisuke narrowed his eyes at his son, before he looked to Kita. "How hard did he hit his head?"
"You're funny. But, seriously. Sada wasn't there. I couldn't feel him or the Ayakashi. And, I couldn't feel most of the Espada. Now, either he's moved them. Or, they're gone. Either way, I want to know."

"There is no need to go looking for them. Captain Hirabayashi and her spy Tenshin Ozaki was kind enough to find out where they were." Kisuke informed his son.
"Where is that?" Kenji asked as he looked around the room.
"The gates of Hell and then some."
"And then some? What the hell does that mean?!" Kenji retorted.
"Sumi was kind enough to share the rest. Letting us know that he and his army had migrated there to try and free the bound demons."

Seto gave a slight nod. He said nothing as both Kenji and Kita looked in his direction.
"No yook at my foo'!" shouted Kadaj, stuffing a piece of pancake into his mouth. "My foo'!"
Seto patted Kadaj on the head. "It makes no difference, to have them all there. None of the Espada can hold their own against a demon. The Ayakashi, maybe. Aizen's trying to figure out how to set them free. He's not going to be able to do it with any of them. Or, by himself."

"Of course not. That is why Kisuke thinks he will try to go after the Quincy Raelin Fang." Kita replied as she started to dry the dishes and put them away. "I wonder though." She looked to her father.
"Would Aizen be able to grab her all that easily? She is pretty sharp when it comes to things. Something about feeling a disruption in energy around her." She put the last dish into the cabinet as she looked to her son that was shoving his last bite into his mouth.
She giggled softly, "You want more, sweetie?"

Kisuke looked from his daughter to his grandson as he was now licking the syrup off the plate. Kisuke chuckled, "well you won't have to wash that one, Kita." He looked back to his daughter.
"As far as Raelin goes. This is Aizen we are talking about. If he wants her that badly he will find a way to disrupt her, throwing her off guard so he can grab her." He looked to Kenji. "I am making you my lieutenant."
Kenji stumbled back falling into the chair behind him, his eyes wide as he looked on at his father.
"What now, boy?" Kisuke questioned as he adjusted his hat.

"Nothing." said Kenji. "I'm going home. You guys seem to have this...well taken care of. Kita, you know where to find me, if you need me." He rose from his seat and started toward the door.
"So, that's it?" asked Kisuke. "You're running?"
"I'm not running." replied Kenji. "I've got better things to do than sit and twiddle my thumbs. I'm going back to my lab to do what I do best."

"No. You have a job to do. Go home get your things together. Kiss your girl goodbye and send her on her way. You will report to me in three hours. Not two. Not four. Not three in and half. Three hours."
Kenji turned and looked at his father with narrowed eyes.
"You want me to do something. Well I am, but guess what. You're not getting the leisure of sitting on your ass while I fix this mess. We all work together to fix this or nothing is going to be for the better. Got it?" He adjusted his hat once more still looking Kenji's away.
"First Division. Three hours. Don't make me come for you, son."
