Karin's high five was automatic but not as crazy as her brother. "I was hoping he would come get it himself, but since Kita is here, I'm gave it back. I guess it takes more than just having the hat to make the shopkeeper rise to a challenge." She tilted her head up at her insanely tall brother. "How do you do it?"

Kita hi-fived Ichigo as well and started giggling when Karin asked her question.

Ichigo gave a slightly annoyed huff at the thought of Kisuke's training. "It's not me, it's him. Then again, sometimes you just have to pester him until he does what you want. He's totally nuts."

"Yep, I have even learned that in the last few years and I am not even being trained by him." Kita said as she turned waving over her shoulder. "Well I need to get his hat back to him before he has a coronary." She giggled softly, "I will see you all later."
Ichigo and Karin told her bye as she walked from the room and off to Urahara Shop.

"Later Kita. Say Hi for me," Ichigo waved to her as she slipped on her shoes.

The sixteen year old folded her arms and looked at the floor. "So I have to do something else beyond surprise attacking him..." she murmured.

Ichigo laughed and patted his kids sister's head. "Give it up Karin. That guy is nuts. He'll come around eventually, when he's ready."

"Yeah, yeah," Karin mumbled, pushing the hand away from her hair and patting it down, "when have you ever seen me give up on something I'm interested in?"

Ichigo smiled and shrugged, heading back up to his room. "Just be careful. Don't get dragged into anything too dangerous. And give Kisuke a run for his money once he does respond."

"I can manage that," Karin grinned. As Ichigo started up the stairs, she hollered, "Don't go skipping dinner. It should be done soon." She then sat at the table, drumming her fingers as she contemplated new plans of attack.

"Trouble at School":
Karin walked behind her guidance counselor, not liking how the adult had decided to move the meeting with her father to the home and not at the school. She huffed and stiffened her shoulders. This didn't happen with Ichigo, and he had been picking fights much longer than she had. She frowned deeper. Maybe that was the problem. She usually settled her differences with others without resulting in a full fight.
This time, that boy had looked at Yuzu and she had tackled him. And it wasn't the first.
Just the first where it had turned into a three way fight because one of the brat's friends happened to be a black belt like her and saw an opportunity to knock her off her pedestal without a referee.
Her teammates on the soccer team had interfered, trying to keep it a fair fight and things had gone south quick.
Karin could feel her black eye begin to swell. She'd busted her lip, and this time there was a large throbbing bruise on her stomach in addition to the scratches on her arms and legs. It had been a wild fight at the end. She just couldn't lose.
Karin sighed as they reached the clinic, hoping her guidance counselor only commented on this fight.

When Isshin looked up to see who walked in the clinic door he frowned slightly seeing Karin with her counselor from the school, and to make this even more aggravating. Karin was supporting a black eye and a busted lip. Isshin sighed softly and dismissed the nurse he was talking to.
He proceeded to walk toward his daugher and her counselor. Stopping in front of them both, he smiled kindly at the gentlemen and offered his hand. "I don't know if I should be worried about you being here or thank you for seeing her home?"
The gentlemen took Isshin's hand and shook it firmly. "I wish I had good news for you, Mr. Kurosaki." He looked Karin's way then back to her father. "But I am afraid Karin's disruptive behaviour today was a little too much. So I took it upon myself to come talk to you personally about this."
Isshin nodded with another soft sigh. "Lets take this to my office then." Isshin stepped aside and motioned toward a door in the back of the room. The three moved the way of the door stepping into Isshin's office.
The two took a seat, Isshin walking over to Karin and looking at her eyes and busted lip. He then walked to the door and called out to his nurse to get her an ice pack. He closed the door and took a seat behind his desk.
"What happen?"

The counselor folded his hands before him. "What happened was a near riot between a few members of the soccer team and some boys from the next grade up, though Yamashita-san knows Karin from their karate tournaments." He took off his glasses and wiped them off. "As I am sure you are well aware, it is difficult to get the full picture in a fight like this, and to make matters worse, it happened between lunch and third period." Isshin nodded quietly and the gentleman went on.
"According to the boys, Karin tackled one of them for no apparent reason. The soccer team interfered when Yamashita, passing by, attacked Karin in some kind of a challenge. The brawl only got bigger from there. All are getting punishments and the soccer team has a discipline warning." He shook his head. "I haven't heard Karin's reason for the fight. She says it doesn't matter - which makes her seem more guilty- and she wouldn't stop even after teachers got involved. She just sort of snapped out of struggling when we pulled two of the boys off her. Though she usually isn't disruptive, even if she takes after the boys a bit too much for my tastes, this time I had to arrange for a spare uniform. Her own was ripped and soiled in such a way it was no longer appropriate." He put his glasses back on.
"I have heard that this isn't the only fight she hasn't recently started too, in the last couple weeks or so." Karin's head snapped towards him at this and he pushed his glasses up. "If there is something wrong here, we would like to help, but if this becomes a new habit of hers, this could affect her record and her participation in sports activities."
He sighed. "This isn't like with your son who was content to stay in the margins of society for some strange reason. Karin has great athletic skills and she is a part of the spotlight. That means there is less leeway with her incidents."

Isshin looked to Karin and sighed rubbing his temple. He was not disappointed or angered at her, he knew what was causing this and he was in no way going to scold her for it.
Looking back at the counselor he smiled kindly. "Well, I thank you for the information on what happen and I appreciate you seeing her home and the uses of the uniform. We will make sure to get it cleaned and back to the school in the next few days." Isshin stood and offered his hand to the gentlemen again. "I will take care of this matter with my daughter and I promise you. It will never happen again."

Karin stayed in her chair, arms folded and keeping up her calm, aloof front. It kept her in control in a fight and now it kept her from feeling all her various injuries, especially the wrenched muscles when that bastard Yamashita had tried illegal moves to disable her. She glowered at the wall as her father escorted the counsellor out. She had lost enough times so far. It wasn't going to happen again.
