Valleys of Hell

"For All Eternity":

Giichi narrowed his eyes as he stood above the scattered clouds. He looked down at the Sinners and Arrancar occupying the pits and valleys of Hell. Smiling, Giichi glanced over his shoulder at the Shinigami standing behind him. The man, Vale Tervaden, was bound using spiritual energy. "Well, Tervaden," Giichi chuckled slightly. "Or, should I call you Tetsuya?" Giichi turned to face the Shinigami. 

"Welcome to Hell." Giichi gestured as if presenting the realm to him. "As you know, Hell's primary function is to house Sinners and the deceased Captains of the Gotei 13. Now, I know what you're thinking," Giichi stepped closer to the Shinigami. "What are you doing here?"

Vale groaned, unable to speak beneath his bindings. 

"Well, I'll tell you. The Soul King has decided that since you had the sheer and utter audacity to use the powers of a god as if they were yours to have, you would suffer the worst of the consequences laid out in this...Renewal. Which is something considering the deeds of my sons." Giichi chuckled as he folded his arms behind his back. "Now, I personally would never be so kind to leave you here in Hell. But, this was not my idea. I offered to throw you into the temporal torrents surrounding the Precipice World and watch time tear you apart. But, I was told that we were not to be as cruel as you and your kind. So, Hell is where we are." Giichi raised a finger, causing the bindings around the Shinigami to disappear. "Anything to say on the matter?"

"This is Hell, you fucking idiot." groaned Vale. "Give me time, and I will break my chains. And, I swear to the gods that I will te-"

Giichi motioned with the same finger, covering the Shinigami's mouth again. "You are a remarkably dense soul..." He placed his hand behind his back again. "So, this is what is to be done." Slowly, Giichi pulled Tervaden's zanpakuto from behind his back. "Now, Hell has a unique way of forcing change upon the dead...Making them stronger in ways that would never happen if they were living. But, you aren't dead...Are you?" Giichi's smile grew wide. "You are very much alive...and - my favorite part - powerless. And, it is that way you'll stay."

Waving a hand, Giichi forced the Shinigami to the ground. Glowing chains appeared, wrapping around the Shinigami. His arms and legs were held tightly against his body. While other chains held him to the ground. The ground shifted again, this time swallowing up the Shinigami until only his head was above ground.

"Here is where you'll stay for all eternity, Tetsuya. We'll call it...your retirement." Giichi smiled before disappearing, leaving Tervaden in Hell.
