"Alright alright, I tell you what. If you can get"--Hisagi pointed at them--"not only the vessel to do this, but Urahara, Ichimaru, and Kurosaki to agree to interviewing her." He sat up straight. "I will allow you to interview her. Deal?"
Fuu looked at Susumu then back to Hisagi, "and how are we going to get permission from Ichimaru? He is not allowed in Soul Society, and we are not allowed to leave Soul Society."
Hisagi shrugged with a sly grin, "that's something you're going to have to figure out on your own. Sorry, but that's the deal. All four have to agree or it's a no go."

Susumu grumbled and scratched his chin, trying to think of an idea. They needed a way to communicate with Urahara and his group in the world of the living without actually going there themselves. After scouring his brain for ideas, he blinked then grinned. He snapped his fingers.
"I got it!" He grinned at Fuu and then Hisagi. "We can use Hell Butterflies! They can carry a recorded message from us through the Dangai to the world of the living. We may not be allowed to leave, but the butterflies can! It may take a while to communicate through... what do the humans call it? 'Snail mail?' Whatever that is. Anyway, we have a whole month to produce the issue anyway. While we're waiting on our main story, we can put together everything else. And we can have a backup plan in case the interviews fall through. And if they do then we can try again next month."

Fuu giggled at his comparison of snail mail to the hell butterfly. "It's at least a working idea. Though if we can catch Kisuke when he visits the Soul Society, maybe a hand written letter to Ichimaru would be'--her hand lifted as she gestured measurement with her index finger and thumb--"a little more professional." They both looked over at Hisagi.
"I don't care how you do it. As long as it is within the rules of the Gotei." Hisagi leaned back in his chair crossing his arms over his chest.
Fuu grinned ear to ear as she glanced over at Susumu, but spoke to Hisagi. "You have a soul phone, right?"
"Of course I do,"
"May I borrow it?" Fuu insisted.
Hisagi sat forward shaking his head as Fuu held her hand out, her fingers wiggling. "No, I told you--"
"To find away to talk to Ichimaru and you did not care how we did it as long as it was within the rules of the Gotei." Fuu's head shook. "There is no rule saying we cannot use a soul phone. The rule states only Captain's and Lieutenants can possess them."

Susumu cackled, slapping his knee. "She got you there, boss! You did say you didn't care how, as long as we didn't break the rules." He grinned at Hisagi. "So, how about it? Can we give them a call? It would be quicker after all."
Hisagi sighed and reached into his pocket and lifted out his soul phone. "You get five minutes."
"Ten," Fuu bartered.
"Five," Hisagi held up his hand with five fingers held up.
"Seven and a half," Susumu threw in.
"Fine. Seven and a half." He handed his phone over to Fuu. "Better talk quick."
When Fuu grabbed the phone, she looked over to Susumu. He raised his hands and shook his head. "Don't look at me. You're the fast talker between the two of us. Put that silver tongue of yours to good use."

Fuu took a deep breath and opened the phone. She then looked at Hisagi, "What is the number to Kisuke's phone?"
"Hit redial--Upper right corner--Six," Hisagi told her.
Fuu nodded and did as Hisagi told her. Putting the phone up to her ear she listened to it ring.
"Hisagi? Everything alright or did you call to talk to Kita?" Kisuke answered the phone.
"Hmm, no sir, this is Third Seat, Fuu Ayumu from Division Nine. I am a journalist for the Seireitei Communication. Lt. Hisagi let me use his phone to contact you and ask you a question."
"Journalist, huh?" He fell silent for a second. "Alright then, what's your question?"
"We need permission from you, Kurosaki, and Ichimaru to interview the Ves--" Fuu stopped abruptly when saw Hisagi shaking his head then mouthed 'her name, use her name'--"Kita. We want to do an article on Kita, in the Seireitei Communication."
Kisuke chuckled, "Why our permission? Just ask Kita herself."
Fuu's head shook, "we were told the only way we could interview her was to get permission from the three of you."

An odd look crossed his expression, "alright, and what would this interview pertain to?"
"I am sorry but I don't have the time"--she narrowed her eyes at Hisagi--"to explain it to you. I was given a time limit for this call."
"Well, alright then. I guess that means I will have to pay the Soul Society a visit again and bring Ichimaru and Kurosaki with me, so we all can sit down and have a chat. I won't give my okay until I know what this interview is about, and I am sure they feel the same."
A wide grin crossed Fuu's lips as she sat up straight, excitement in her voice. "That would be wonderful. When can we expect you?"
"Tomorrow? Will that work for you?" Kisuke inquired.
"That's perfect! Just come to Division Nine and ask for Third Seat, Fuu Ayumu. It should not take long to explain this to you."
Kisuke smiled, "good we will see you tomorrow then. Say around--one."
"One tomorrow will be fine." Fuu approved. "Thank you so much, Urahara."
Kisuke chuckled, "don't thank me yet. You don't have our answer yet. Have a good day, Fuu Ayumu." He heard her say goodbye and they ended the call.

"See! I told you," Susumu grinned, giving Fuu a high five. He turned back to Hisagi. "We'll have that interview no problem!"
"One o'clock tomorrow he will be here with the other two." Fuu handed Hisagi back his soul phone with an accomplished grin.
"That's fast," Susumu hummed. "He must know what the interview is about, otherwise they'd be in no rush to get here. After all, it's us that's on a time limit. I imagine they would want to get Kita's story out to the general public of the Soul Society."

Hisagi placed his phone back in his pocket, his head shaking. "Fuu," she looked over at him. "Brace yourself," he looked at Susumu then continued. "Both of you. You have to remember Kita was a prisoner just like the ones that were taken from the Soul Society. What she may tell you might not be print appropriate. No matter how badly you want to get the story out to the people." Hisagi's head shook.
"I won't allow anything inappropriate to be put in print."

Fuu nodded, "I understand, and we are only after the truth." Fuu went into thought as she looked to Susumu who nodded.
"We will keep it tasteful." Susumu assured Hisagi.
Fuu looked back at Hisagi a concerned look in her eyes. "Did she really suffer that badly?"
Hisagi's head nodded slowly, "and I was only told a small piece of what she suffered, and she was there for nearly 22 years."
Fuu sighed softly as she looked down at her tablet sitting on her lap. "I will remember to be considerate if and when I get to interview her." She looked up at the two men in the room with her. "Is there anything else we need to cover or take note on?"

Susumu shook his head. "Not that I can think of. But if we think of anything else we can write it down and it can always go in the next issue." The three of them sat around for a while longer, shooting the breeze and discussing their future endeavors and plans for the reboot of the Seireitei Communication. Fuu took notes on all their ideas and plans and after they were finished, they put the room back together and left, hitting the lights on their way out. --END-- "New Addition":
